14:1
ቃል፡ ዘኮነ፡ ኀበ፡ ኤርምያስ፡ እምኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእንተ፡ ዐባረ፡ ዝናም።
This is Yahweh’s word that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought:
耶和華論到乾旱之災的話臨到耶利米:
14:2
ወይቤ፡ በእንተ፡ ዝ፡ ሀለወት፡ ምድር፡ ዘይሁዳ፡ ወጸልመ፡ ላዕለለ፡ ምድር፡ ወአርገ፡ አውያቲሃ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም።
“Judah mourns, and its gates languish. They sit in black on the ground. The cry of Jerusalem goes up.
猶大悲哀,城門衰敗。 眾人披上黑衣坐在地上; 耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。
14:3
ወፈለዉ፡ መኳንንቲሃ፡ መሐዛቲሆሙ፡ መንገለ፡ ሰማይ፡ ወሆሩ፡ ኀበ፡ አዘቅት፡ ወኢረለቡ፡ ማየ፡ ወአሦጡ፡ ቀሳውስቲሆሙ፡ ዕራቆሙ፡ ኀሥሩ፡ ወተኀፍሩ።
Their nobles send their little ones to the waters. They come to the cisterns, and find no water. They return with their vessels empty. They are disappointed and confounded, and cover their heads.
他們的貴冑打發家僮打水; 他們來到水池, 見沒有水,就拿着空器皿, 蒙羞慚愧,抱頭而回。
14:4
ወተገልበቡ፡ ርእሶሙ፡ በእንተ፡ ተግባረ፡ ምድር፡ ዘኀልቀ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘዝናም፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ተኀፍሩ፡ ሐረስት፡ ወገልበቡ፡ ርእሶሙ።
Because of the ground which is cracked, because no rain has been in the land, the plowmen are disappointed. They cover their heads.
耕地的也蒙羞抱頭; 因為無雨降在地上, 地都乾裂。
14:5
ወኀየላትኒ፡ ወለዳ፡ ውስተ፡ ገዳም፡ ወኀደጋ፡ ዕጐሊሆን፡ እስመ፡ አልቦ፡ ኀሣር።
Yes, the doe in the field also calves and forsakes her young, because there is no grass.
田野的母鹿生下小鹿,就撇棄, 因為無草。
14:6
ሐለስትዮታኒ፡ ቆሙ፡ ውስተ፡ በድው፡ ወአብቀዉ፡ ውስተ፡ ነፋስ፡ ከመ፡ ሰገኖ፡ ወደደክማ፡ አዕይንቲሆሙ፡ ኀጢአሙ፡ ሣዕረ።
The wild donkeys stand on the bare heights. They pant for air like jackals. Their eyes fail, because there is no vegetation.
野驢站在淨光的高處,喘氣好像野狗; 因為無草,眼目失明。
14:7
ኀጢአተነ፡ ተቃወመነ፡ እግዚኦ፡ እስመ፡ በዝኀ፡ ኀጢአተነ፡ በቅድሜከ፡ ወለከ፡ አበስነ።
Though our iniquities testify against us, work for your name’s sake, Yahweh; for our rebellions are many. We have sinned against you.
耶和華啊,我們的罪孽雖然作見證告我們, 還求你為你名的緣故行事。 我們本是多次背道,得罪了你。
14:8
ወጸንሑ፡ እስራኤል፡ መድኀኒተ፡ በእለተ፡ ምንዳቤ፡ ለምንት፡ ኮንከ፡ ከመ፡ ፈላሲ፡ በዲበ፡ ምድር፡ ወከመ፡ ነግድ፡ ተግህሥከ፡ በውስተ፡ ማኅደር።
You hope of Israel, its Savior in the time of trouble, why should you be as a foreigner in the land, and as a wayfaring man who turns aside to stay for a night?
以色列所盼望、在患難時作他救主的啊, 你為何在這地像寄居的, 又像行路的只住一宵呢?
14:9
ለምንት፡ ትከውን፡ ከመ፡ ሰብእ፡ ዘይነውም፡ ወከመ፡ ዕጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ዘኢይክል፡ አድኅኖ፡ ወአንተሰ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ሀሎከ፡ ማዕከሌነ፡ ወስምከሂ፡ ተሰምየ፡ በላዕለሌነ፡ ወኢትርሥዓነ።
Why should you be like a scared man, as a mighty man who can’t save? Yet you, Yahweh, are in the middle of us, and we are called by your name. Don’t leave us.
你為何像受驚的人, 像不能救人的勇士呢? 耶和華啊,你仍在我們中間; 我們也稱為你名下的人, 求你不要離開我們。
14:10
ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢይትሐከዩ፡ ወእግዚአብሔርኒ፡ ኢይፈቅዶሙ፡ ወይእዜሂይዜከር፡ ኀጢአቶሙ፡ ወይሔውጸ፡ ጌጋዮሙ።
Yahweh says to this people: “Even so they have loved to wander. They have not restrained their feet. Therefore Yahweh does not accept them. Now he will remember their iniquity, and punish them for their sins.”
耶和華對這百姓如此說: 這百姓喜愛妄行 , 不禁止腳步, 所以耶和華不悅納他們。 現今要記念他們的罪孽, 追討他們的罪惡。
14:11
ወይቤለኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኢትጸሊ፡ ሎሙ፡ ለዝ፡ ሕዝብ፡ በእንተ፡ ሠናይ።
Yahweh said to me, “Don’t pray for this people for their good.
耶和華又對我說:「不要為這百姓祈禱求好處。
14:12
እስመ፡ እመሂ፡ ጾሙ፡ ኢይሰምዖሙ፡ ምህላሆሙ፡ ወእመሂ፡ አብኡ፡ መሥዋዕተ፡ ወቊራባነ፡ ኢይሠሃሎሙ፡ እስመ፡ በኲናት፡ ወበረኀብ፡ ወበብድብድ፡ አጠፍዖሙ፡ አነ።
When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and meal offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”
他們禁食的時候,我不聽他們的呼求;他們獻燔祭和素祭,我也不悅納;我卻要用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫滅絕他們。」
14:13
ወእቤ፡ አነ፡ አሌ፡ ሊተ፡ እግዚኦ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ወናሁ፡ ነቢያት፡ ዓላውያን፡ ይቤልዎሙ፡ ኢይረክበክሙ፡ ኲናት፡ ወረኀብ፡ ወብድብድ፡ ወኢይመጽአክሙ፡ ዳዕሙ፡ ሰላመ፡ ወጽድቀ፡ እሁብ፡ ለዝ፡ ሕዝብ።
Then I said, “Ah, Lord Yahweh! Behold, the prophets tell them, ‘You will not see the sword, neither will you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.’”
我就說:「唉!主耶和華啊,那些先知常對他們說:『你們必不看見刀劍,也不遭遇饑荒;耶和華要在這地方賜你們長久的平安。』」
14:14
ወይቤለኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ሐሰዉ፡ ነቢይት፡ ዘተነበዩ፡ በስምየ፡ ኢፈነውክዎሙ፡ ወኢተናገርክዎሙ፡ እስመ፡ ሀሰዉ፡ ሰሀሎሙ፡ ወተዋርዶቶሙ፡ በከ፡ እምልቦሙ፡ ዘፈጠሩ፡ ወእምልቦሙ፡ ዘፈጠሩ፡ ይተኔበዩ።
Then Yahweh said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They prophesy to you a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.
耶和華對我說:「那些先知託我的名說假預言,我並沒有打發他們,沒有吩咐他們,也沒有對他們說話;他們向你們預言的,乃是虛假的異象和占卜,並虛無的事,以及本心的詭詐。
14:15
በእንተ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ይቤ፡ ከመዝ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ በእንተ፡ ነቢያት፡ እለ፡ ተነበዩ፡ በስምየ፡ ሐሰተ፡ ዘኢፈነውክዎሙ፡ አነ፡ ወይቤሉ፡ ኢይመጽኦ፡ ለዝ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ኲናት፡ ወረኀብ፡ ወሞት፡ እኩይ።
Therefore Yahweh says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, but I didn’t send them, yet they say, ‘Sword and famine will not be in this land.’ Those prophets will be consumed by sword and famine.
所以耶和華如此說:論到託我名說預言的那些先知,我並沒有打發他們;他們還說這地不能有刀劍饑荒,其實那些先知必被刀劍饑荒滅絕。
14:16
በመጥባሕት፡ ወረኀብ፡ የሐልቁ፡ እሙንቱ፡ ነቢያት፡ ወሕዝብኒ፡ እለ፡ ሎሙ፡ ትትነበዩ፡ ወእዘሩ፡ አብድንቲሆ፡ ውስተ፡ ፍናዊሃ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም፡ እምገጸ፡ ኲናት፡ ወረኀብ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘይቀብሮሙ፡ እሙንቱኒ፡ ወአንስቶሙኒ፡ ወደቂቆሙኒ፡ ወአዋልዲሆሙኒ፡ ወእክዑ፡ ላዐሌሆሙ፡ እከዮሙ።
The people to whom they prophesy will be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword. They will have no one to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, or their daughters, for I will pour their wickedness on them.
聽他們說預言的百姓必因饑荒刀劍拋在耶路撒冷的街道上,無人葬埋。他們連妻子帶兒女,都是如此。我必將他們的惡倒在他們身上 。」
14:17
ወበሎሙ፡ ዘነገረ፡ አንብዕ፡ ይውኅዝ፡ እምአዕይንቲክሙ፡ መዓልተ፡ ወሌሊተ፡ ዘኢይነጽፍ፡ እስመ፡ ቅጥቃጤ፡ ትቅቀጠቀጥ፡ ድንግል፡ ወለተ፡ ሕዝብየ፡ በዐቢይ፡ ቀትል፡ ጥቀ።
“You shall say this word to them: “‘Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous wound.
你要將這話對他們說: 願我眼淚汪汪, 晝夜不息, 因為我百姓 受了裂口破壞的大傷。
14:18
እመሂ፡ መጻእኩ፡ ገዳመ፡ እረክብ፡ አብድንተ፡ በኲናት፡ ወእመሂ፡ ቦእኩ፡ ሀገረ፡ እስመ፡ ነቢያትኒ፡ ወካህናትኒ፡ ሖሩ፡ በፍኖት፡ በኢአምሩ።
If I go out into the field, then behold, the slain with the sword! If I enter into the city, then behold, those who are sick with famine! For both the prophet and the priest go about in the land, and have no knowledge.’”
我若出往田間, 就見有被刀殺的; 我若進入城內, 就見有因饑荒患病的; 連先知帶祭司在國中往來, 也是毫無知識 。
14:19
ለእመ፡ መንኖ፡ መነንኮ፡ ለይሁዳ፡ ወለእመ፡ ጸልአታ፡ ነፍስከ፡ ለጽዮን፡ ለምንት፡ አውደቀነ፡ ወኃጥአነ፡ ፈውስ፡ ተሰፈውነ፡ ሰላመ፡ ወኀጥአይነ፡ ሠናይተ፡ ወሣህለ፡ በመዋዕሊነ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ሐከክ።
Have you utterly rejected Judah? Has your soul loathed Zion? Why have you struck us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold, dismay!
你全然棄掉猶大嗎? 你心厭惡錫安嗎? 為何擊打我們,以致無法醫治呢? 我們指望平安,卻得不着好處; 指望痊癒,不料,受了驚惶。
14:20
አእመርነ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ኀጢአተነ፡ ወጌጋየ፡ አበዊነ፡ እስመ፡ አበስነ፡ በቅድሜከ።
We acknowledge, Yahweh, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against you.
耶和華啊,我們承認自己的罪惡, 和我們列祖的罪孽, 因我們得罪了你。
14:21
ተመየጠነ፡ በእንተ፡ ስምከ፡ ወኢትግድፍ፡ መንበረ፡ ስብሐቲከ፡ ተዘከር፡ ወኢትንሥት፡ ሥርዐተ፡ ዘኀቤነ።
Do not abhor us, for your name’s sake. Do not disgrace the throne of your glory. Remember, and don’t break your covenant with us.
求你為你名的緣故, 不厭惡我們, 不辱沒你榮耀的寶座。 求你追念, 不要背了與我們所立的約。
14:22
ቦኑ፡ ጣኦተ፡ አህዛብ፡ ዘያዘንም፡ ወእመሂ፡ ወሀበ፡ ሰማይ፡ ጠለ፡ ወአጽገበ፡ አኮኑ፡ አንተ፡ ውእቱ፡ አምላክነ፡ ወተሰፈውናከ፡ እስመ፡ አንተ፡ ገበርከ፡ ዘንተ፡ ኵሎ።
Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the sky give showers? Aren’t you he, Yahweh our God? Therefore we will wait for you; for you have made all these things.
外邦人虛無的神中有能降雨的嗎? 天能自降甘霖嗎? 耶和華-我們的上帝啊, 能如此的不是你嗎? 所以,我們仍要等候你, 因為這一切都是你所造的。
