I will arise now and go about in the city, in the markets and in the broad ways, and seek him whom my soul has loved. I sought him and did not find him.
It was but a little after I had passed from them that I found him whom my soul has loved. I held him and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her who conceived me.
Go out and look upon King Solomon, upon the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his wedding and on the day of the gladness of his heart.
