📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Return, return, O Shulammite; return, return, that we may look upon you. What will you see in the Shulammite? She who comes like the dances of the camps.
Your neck is like a tower of ivory; your eyes are like the pools in Heshbon, at the gates of the daughter of many; your nose is like the tower of Lebanon that looks toward the face of Damascus.
I said: I will go up into the palm tree, I will take hold of its heights. And may your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the fragrance of your nose like apples.
Let us rise early to the vineyards; let us see whether the vine has budded. The henna blossom has opened, the pomegranates have blossomed. There I will give my breasts to you.
