2:1
ወእምዝ፡ አመ፡ ያዐርጎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ውስተ፡ ሰማይ፡ ሖሩ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወኤልሳዕ፡ እምነ፡ ኢያሪኮ።
Elijah said to Elisha, “Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.
以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差我往伯特利去，你可以在這裏等候。」以利沙說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人下到伯特利。
2:2
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ንበር፡ ዝየ፡ እስመ፡ ለአከኒ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እስከ፡ ቤቴል፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሕያው፡ ነፍስከ፡ ከመ፡ ኢየኀድገከ፡ ወበጽሐ፡ ቤቴል።
The sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that Yahweh will take away your master from over you today?” He said, “Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”
住伯特利的先知門徒出來見以利沙，對他說：「耶和華今日要接你的師傅離開你，你知道不知道？」他說：「我知道，你們不要作聲。」
2:3
ወመጽኡ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ነቢያት፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቴል፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ሶበ፡ ታአምርኑ፡ ከመ፡ ዮም፡ ይነሥኦ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእግዚእከ፡ እመልዕልተ፡ ርእስከ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ አንሰ፡ አእመርኩ፡ አርምሙ።
Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me to Jericho.” He said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.
以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差遣我往耶利哥去，你可以在這裏等候。」以利沙說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人到了耶利哥。
2:4
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ንበር፡ ዝየ፡ እስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለአከኒ፡ ኢያሪኮ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሕያው፡ ነፍስከ፡ ከመ፡ ኢየኀድገከ ፤ ወበጽሑ፡ ኢያሪኮ።
The sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came near to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that Yahweh will take away your master from over you today?” He answered, “Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”
住耶利哥的先知門徒就近以利沙，對他說：「耶和華今日要接你的師傅離開你，你知道不知道？」他說：「我知道，你們不要作聲。」
2:5
ወመጽኡ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ነቢያት፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢያሪኮ፡ ኀበ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ሶበ፡ ታአምርኑ፡ ከመ፡ ዮም፡ ይነሥኦ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእግዚእከ፡ እመልዕልተ፡ ርእስከ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ አእመርኩ፡ እርምሙ።
Elijah said to him, “Please wait here, for Yahweh has sent me to the Jordan.” He said, “As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” Then they both went on.
以利亞對以利沙說：「耶和華差遣我往約旦河去，你可以在這裏等候。」以利沙說：「我指着永生的耶和華，又敢在你面前起誓，我必不離開你。」於是二人一同前往。
2:6
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ንበር፡ ዝየ፡ እስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለአከኒ፡ መንገለ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሕያው፡ ነፍስከ፡ ከመ፡ ኢየኀድገከ፡ ወሖሩ፡ ክልኤሆሙ።
Fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood opposite them at a distance; and they both stood by the Jordan.
有先知門徒去了五十人，遠遠地站在他們對面；二人在約旦河邊站住。
2:7
ወ፶ዕደው፡ እምነ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ነቢያት፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ ወቆሙ፡ [እልክቱ] እምርሑቅ፡ አንጻሮሙ፡ ወእሙንቱሰ፡ ቆሙ፡ ክልኤሆሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ዮርዳኖስ።
Elijah took his mantle, and rolled it up, and struck the waters; and they were divided here and there, so that they both went over on dry ground.
以利亞將自己的外衣捲起來，用以打水，水就左右分開，二人走乾地而過。
2:8
ወነሥአ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ሐሜላቶ፡ ወጦማ፡ ወዘበጣ፡ ለማየ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ወቆመ፡ ማይ፡ እምለፌኒ፡ ወእምለፌኒ፡ ወኀለፉ፡ ክልኤሆሙ፡ ወቆሙ፡ በድወ፡ ወጺኦሙ።
When they had gone over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be on me.”
過去之後，以利亞對以利沙說：「我未曾被接去離開你，你要我為你做甚麼，只管求我。」以利沙說：「願感動你的靈加倍地感動我。」
2:9
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ኀለፉ፡ ክልኤሆሙ፡ ይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ሰአለኒ፡ ዘትፈቅድ፡ እግበር፡ ለከ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ እዕርግ፡ እምኀቤከ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ለኤልያስ፡ ለይኩን፡ ከዕበተ፡ ላዕሌየ፡ መንፈስ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ዘዲቤከ።
He said, “You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will be so for you; but if not, it will not be so.”
以利亞說：「你所求的難得。雖然如此，我被接去離開你的時候，你若看見我，就必得着；不然，必得不着了。」
2:10
ወይቤሎ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ዕጹበ፡ ሰአልከ፡ ወባሕቱ፡ ለእመ፡ ርኢከኒ፡ እንዘ፡ አዐርግ፡ እምኀቤከ፡ ለይኩንከ፡ ከማሁ፡ ወእመሰ፡ ኢርኢከኒ፡ ኢይኩንከ።
As they continued on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
他們正走着說話，忽有火車火馬將二人隔開，以利亞就乘旋風升天去了。
2:11
ወእንዘ፡ የሐውሩ፡ ክልኤሆሙ፡ ወይትናገሩ፡ መጽአ፡ ሰረገላ፡ ዘእሳት፡ ወአፍራስ፡ ዘእሳት፡ ወቦአ፡ ማእከለ፡ ክልኤሆሙ፡ ወአስተራሐቆሙ፡ ወዐርገ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ከመ፡ ዘበድልቅልቅ፡ ወከመ፡ ዘውስተ፡ ሰማይ።
Elisha saw it, and he cried, “My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” He saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.
以利沙看見，就呼叫說：「我父啊！我父啊！以色列的戰車馬兵啊！」以後不再見他了。 於是以利沙把自己的衣服撕為兩片。
2:12
ወርእዮ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ወይቤሎ፡ አባ፡ አባ፡ ኀይሎሙ፡ ለእስራኤል፡ ወጽንዖሙ፡ ወእምዝ፡ ኢርእዮ፡ እንከ፡ ዳግመ፡ ወሠጠጠ፡ አልባሲሁ፡ ወረሰዮሙ፡ ለ፪።
He also took up Elijah’s mantle that fell from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan.
他拾起以利亞身上掉下來的外衣，回去站在約旦河邊。
2:13
ወአውረደ፡ ሎቱ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ሐሜላቶ፡ ወወረደ፡ ላዕለ፡ ርእሱ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ወገብአ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ወቆመ፡ ኀበ፡ ድንጋገ፡ ማየ፡ ዮርዳኖስ።
He took Elijah’s mantle that fell from him, and struck the waters, and said, “Where is Yahweh, the God of Elijah?” When he also had struck the waters, they were divided apart, and Elisha went over.
他用以利亞身上掉下來的外衣打水，說：「耶和華－以利亞的上帝在哪裏呢？」打水之後，水也左右分開，以利沙就過來了。
2:14
ወነሥአ፡ ሐሜላቶ፡ ለኤልያስ፡ እንተ፡ ወረደት፡ መልዕልተ፡ ርእሱ፡ ወዘበጠ፡ ማየ፡ ባቲ፡ ወአበየ፡ ተግሕሦ፡ ወይቤ፡ አይቴ፡ ውእቱ፡ አምላከ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ወእፎ፡ ወእምዝ፡ ዘበጦ፡ ለማይ፡ ወተግሕሠ፡ ወቆመ፡ እንተ፡ ለፌኒ፡ ወእንተ፡ ለፌኒ፡ ወኀለፈ፡ ኤልሳዕ።
When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
住耶利哥的先知門徒從對面看見他，就說：「感動以利亞的靈感動以利沙了。」他們就來迎接他，在他面前俯伏於地，
2:15
ወርእይዎ፡ ደቂቀ፡ ነቢያት፡ እለ፡ ውስተ፡ ኢያሪኮ፡ እንዘ፡ ይመጽእ፡ ቅድሜሆሙ፡ ወይቤሉ፡ ገብአ፡ መንፈስ፡ ቅዱስ፡ ዘላዕለ፡ ኤልያስ፡ [ዲበ፡] ኤልሳዕ፡ ወተቀበልዎ፡ ወሰገዱ፡ ሎቱ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር።
They said to him, “See now, there are with your servants fifty strong men. Please let them go and seek your master. Perhaps Yahweh’s Spirit has taken him up, and put him on some mountain or into some valley.” He said, “Don’t send them.”
對他說：「僕人們這裏有五十個壯士，求你容他們去尋找你師傅，或者耶和華的靈將他提起來，投在某山某谷。」以利沙說：「你們不必打發人去。」
2:16
ወይቤልዎ፡ ናሁ፡ ሀለዉ፡ ዝየ፡ ምስለ፡ አግብርቲከ፡ ፶ዕደው፡ ደቂቀ፡ ኀይል፡ ይሖሩ፡ ይኅሥሥዎ፡ ለእግዚእከ፡ ዮጊ፡ ረከቦ፡ መንፈሰ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአውረዶ፡ ውስተ፡ ዮርዳኖስ፡ ወእመ፡ አኮ፡ ውስተ፡ ፩እምነ፡ አድባር፡ ወእመ፡ አኮ፡ ውስተ፡ ፩እምነ፡ አውግር፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ኢትፈንዉ።
When they urged him until he was ashamed, he said, “Send them.” Therefore they sent fifty men; and they searched for three days, but didn’t find him.
他們再三催促他，他難以推辭，就說：「你們打發人去吧！」他們便打發五十人去，尋找了三天，也沒有找着。
2:17
ወአገበርዎ፡ እስከ፡ ኀፈሮሙ፡ ወፈነዉ፡ ፶ዕደወ፡ ወኀሠሥዎ፡ ሠሉሰ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ወኢረከብዎ።
They came back to him while he stayed at Jericho; and he said to them, “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t go’?”
以利沙仍然在耶利哥等候他們回到他那裏；他對他們說：「我豈沒有告訴你們不必去嗎？」
2:18
ወኤልሳዕሰ፡ ሀለወ፡ ኢያሪኮ፡ ይነብር፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ኢይቤለክሙኑ፡ ኢትፈንዉ፡ ወኢትሖሩ።
The men of the city said to Elisha, “Behold, please, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the land is barren.”
耶利哥城的人對以利沙說：「這城的地勢美好，我主看見了；只是水惡劣，土產不熟而落。」
2:19
ወይቤልዎ፡ ለኤልሳዕ፡ ሰብአ፡ ይእቲ፡ ሀገር፡ ናሁ፡ ንብረታ፡ ለዛቲ፡ ሀገር፡ ሠናይ፡ በከመ፡ ይሬኢ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወማየ፡ ብሔሩሰ፡ እኩይ፡ ወአንስትኒ፡ ይመክና።
He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” Then they brought it to him.
以利沙說：「你們拿一個新瓶來，裝鹽給我」；他們就拿來給他。
2:20
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ እምጽኡ፡ ሊተ፡ መሳብከ፡ ሐዲሰ፡ ወደዩ፡ ውስቴቱ፡ ፄወ፡ ወአምጽኡ፡ ሎቱ።
He went out to the spring of the waters, and threw salt into it, and said, “Yahweh says, ‘I have healed these waters. There shall not be from there any more death or barren wasteland.’”
他出到水源，將鹽倒在水中，說：「耶和華如此說：『我治好了這水，從此必不再使人死，也不再使地土不生產。』」
2:21
ወሖረ፡ ኤልሳዕ፡ ኀበ፡ ነቀዐ፡ ማይ፡ ወሶጠ፡ ውስቴቱ፡ ዝኩ፡ ፄወ፡ ወይቤ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ፈወስክዎአ፡ ለዝአ፡ ማይአ፡ ከመአ፡ አልቦአ፡ ዘይመውትአ፡ እምኔሁአ፡ ወአልቦአ፡ ዘይመክንአ፡ እምኔሁአ።
So the waters were healed to this day, according to Elisha’s word which he spoke.
於是那水治好了，直到今日，正如以利沙所說的。
2:22
ወእምይእቲ፡ አሚረ፡ ተፈወስ፡ ውእቱ፡ ማይ፡ እስከ፡ ዮም፡ በከመ፡ ነበበ፡ ኤልሳዕ።
He went up from there to Bethel. As he was going up by the way, some youths came out of the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldy! Go up, you baldy!”
以利沙從那裏上伯特利去，正上去的時候，有些童子從城裏出來，戲笑他說：「禿頭的上去吧！禿頭的上去吧！」
2:23
ወዐርገ፡ እምህየ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቴል፡ ወእንዘ፡ የዕርግ፡ በፍኖት፡ ረከበ፡ ደቀ፡ ንኡሳነ፡ እንዘ፡ ይወጽኡ፡ እምሀገር፡ ወአኀዙ፡ ይሳለቁ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ወይቤልዎ፡ ዕርግ፡ ዕርግ፡ በራሕ።
He looked behind him and saw them, and cursed them in Yahweh’s name. Then two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of those youths.
他回頭看見，就奉耶和華的名咒詛他們。於是有兩個母熊從林中出來，撕裂他們中間四十二個童子。
2:24
ወሶበ፡ ተመይጠ፡ ድኅሬሁ፡ ወርእዮ[ሙ]፡ ረገሞሙ፡ በስመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእምዝ፡ መጽኡ፡ ፪ድብ፡ እምገዳም፡ ወቀተሉ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ፵ወ፪ደቀ።
He went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.
以利沙從伯特利上迦密山，又從迦密山回到撒馬利亞。
2:25
ወእምህየ፡ ሖረ፡ ደብረ፡ ቀርሜሎስ፡ ወእምህየ፡ ገብአ፡ ሰማርያ።
Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.
猶大王約沙法十八年，亞哈的兒子約蘭在撒馬利亞登基作了以色列王十二年。
