9:1
ἐν γὰρ τῷ δωδεκάτῳ μηνὶ τρισκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνός ὅς ἐστιν Αδαρ παρῆν τὰ γράμματα τὰ γραφέντα ὑπὸ τοῦ βασιλέως
十二月，就是亞達月十三日，王所寫的諭旨到了。
For in the twelfth month, on the thirteenth of the month, which is Adar, the letters written by the king arrived.
9:2
ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἀπώλοντο οἱ ἀντικείμενοι τοῖς Ιουδαίοις οὐδεὶς γὰρ ἀντέστη φοβούμενος αὐτούς
就在那日，那些與猶大人作對的都滅亡了，因為無人敢抵擋他們，都懼怕他們。
On that same day those who opposed the Jews perished; for no one withstood them, because they feared them.
9:3
οἱ γὰρ ἄρχοντες τῶν σατραπῶν καὶ οἱ τύραννοι καὶ οἱ βασιλικοὶ γραμματεῖς ἐτίμων τοὺς Ιουδαίους ὁ γὰρ φόβος Μαρδοχαίου ἐνέκειτο αὐτοῖς
各省的首領、地方官和王的書記，都尊敬猶大人，因為懼怕末底改的心壓在他們身上。
For the rulers of the satraps and the local governors and the royal scribes were honouring the Jews; for the fear of Mordecai lay upon them.
9:4
προσέπεσεν γὰρ τὸ πρόσταγμα τοῦ βασιλέως ὀνομασθῆναι ἐν πάσῃ τῇ βασιλείᾳ
因為王的諭令頒下，要他的名見稱於全國。
For the king's decree went forth, that he should be named throughout all the kingdom.
9:6
καὶ ἐν Σούσοις τῇ πόλει ἀπέκτειναν οἱ Ιουδαῖοι ἄνδρας πεντακοσίους
在書珊城，猶太人殺了五百人，
And in the city of Susa the Jews killed five hundred men,
9:7
τόν τε Φαρσαννεσταιν καὶ Δελφων καὶ Φασγα
就是法珊尼斯坦、德勒豐、法斯迦，
both Pharsannestain and Delphon and Phasga,
9:8
καὶ Φαρδαθα καὶ Βαρεα καὶ Σαρβαχα
法達他、巴利亞、撒巴迦，
and Pharadatha and Barea and Sarbacha,
9:9
καὶ Μαρμασιμα καὶ Αρουφαιον καὶ Αρσαιον καὶ Ζαβουθαιθαν
瑪瑪西瑪、亞魯菲、亞賽、撒布泰坦，
and Marmasima and Arouphaeon and Arsaeon and Zabouthaithan,
9:10
τοὺς δέκα υἱοὺς Αμαν Αμαδαθου Βουγαίου τοῦ ἐχθροῦ τῶν Ιουδαίων καὶ διήρπασαν
這十個人是猶太人的仇敵、哈米大他的兒子、布該人哈曼的十個兒子；他們又行搶奪。
the ten sons of Haman son of Hammedatha the Bougaean, the enemy of the Jews; and they plundered.
9:11
ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐπεδόθη ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῷ βασιλεῖ τῶν ἀπολωλότων ἐν Σούσοις
當日，在書珊喪亡之人的數目呈給了王。
On that same day the number of those who had perished in Susa was handed in to the king.
9:12
εἶπεν δὲ ὁ βασιλεὺς πρὸς Εσθηρ ἀπώλεσαν οἱ Ιουδαῖοι ἐν Σούσοις τῇ πόλει ἄνδρας πεντακοσίους ἐν δὲ τῇ περιχώρῳ πῶς οἴει ἐχρήσαντο τί οὖν ἀξιοῖς ἔτι καὶ ἔσται σοι
王對以斯帖說：「猶太人在書珊城殺滅了五百人；在四圍的地方，你想他們又怎樣行了呢？那麼你還求甚麼？必為你成就。」
And the king said to Esther, “The Jews have destroyed five hundred men in the city of Susa; and in the surrounding country, how do you suppose they have dealt? What then do you still ask? And it shall be yours.”
9:13
καὶ εἶπεν Εσθηρ τῷ βασιλεῖ δοθήτω τοῖς Ιουδαίοις χρῆσθαι ὡσαύτως τὴν αὔριον ὥστε τοὺς δέκα υἱοὺς κρεμάσαι Αμαν
以斯帖對王說：「願准猶太人明日照樣而行，並把哈曼的十個兒子掛起來。」
And Esther said to the king, “Let it be granted to the Jews to do the same tomorrow, so as to hang the ten sons of Haman.”
9:14
καὶ ἐπέτρεψεν οὕτως γενέσθαι καὶ ἐξέθηκε τοῖς Ιουδαίοις τῆς πόλεως τὰ σώματα τῶν υἱῶν Αμαν κρεμάσαι
王准這事如此行，就把哈曼眾子的屍身交給城裡的猶太人掛起來。
And he allowed it to be so done, and he gave over to the Jews of the city the bodies of Haman's sons to hang up.
9:15
καὶ συνήχθησαν οἱ Ιουδαῖοι ἐν Σούσοις τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ Αδαρ καὶ ἀπέκτειναν ἄνδρας τριακοσίους καὶ οὐδὲν διήρπασαν
亞達月十四日，猶太人在書珊聚集，殺了三百人，卻甚麼都沒有搶奪。
And the Jews gathered in Susa on the fourteenth of Adar and killed three hundred men, and they plundered nothing.
9:16
οἱ δὲ λοιποὶ τῶν Ιουδαίων οἱ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ συνήχθησαν καὶ ἑαυτοῖς ἐβοήθουν καὶ ἀνεπαύσαντο ἀπὸ τῶν πολεμίων ἀπώλεσαν γὰρ αὐτῶν μυρίους πεντακισχιλίους τῇ τρισκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ Αδαρ καὶ οὐδὲν διήρπασαν
國中其餘的猶太人也聚集起來，彼此相助，得以脫離仇敵而安息；因為他們在亞達月十三日殺滅了仇敵一萬五千人，卻甚麼都沒有搶奪。
And the rest of the Jews who were in the kingdom gathered and helped one another, and got rest from their foes; for they destroyed fifteen thousand of them on the thirteenth of Adar, and they plundered nothing.
9:17
καὶ ἀνεπαύσαντο τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνὸς καὶ ἦγον αὐτὴν ἡμέραν ἀναπαύσεως μετὰ χαρᾶς καὶ εὐφροσύνης
他們在同月十四日安息，以這日為安息之日，歡喜快樂地守著。
And they rested on the fourteenth of the same month, and kept it as a day of rest with joy and gladness.
9:18
οἱ δὲ Ιουδαῖοι οἱ ἐν Σούσοις τῇ πόλει συνήχθησαν καὶ τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ καὶ οὐκ ἀνεπαύσαντο ἦγον δὲ καὶ τὴν πεντεκαιδεκάτην μετὰ χαρᾶς καὶ εὐφροσύνης
但書珊城的猶太人在十四日也聚集，並沒有安息；他們把十五日也守為歡喜快樂的日子。
But the Jews in the city of Susa gathered on the fourteenth as well and did not rest; and they kept the fifteenth also with joy and gladness.
9:19
διὰ τοῦτο οὖν οἱ Ιουδαῖοι οἱ διεσπαρμένοι ἐν πάσῃ χώρᾳ τῇ ἔξω ἄγουσιν τὴν τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτην τοῦ Αδαρ ἡμέραν ἀγαθὴν μετ’ εὐφροσύνης ἀποστέλλοντες μερίδας ἕκαστος τῷ πλησίον οἱ δὲ κατοικοῦντες ἐν ταῖς μητροπόλεσιν καὶ τὴν πεντεκαιδεκάτην τοῦ Αδαρ ἡμέραν εὐφροσύνην ἀγαθὴν ἄγουσιν ἐξαποστέλλοντες μερίδας τοῖς πλησίον
因此，散居在各外地鄉間的猶太人，以亞達月十四日為美好的日子，歡樂慶祝，各人向鄰舍餽送禮物；至於住在各大城的人，也以亞達月十五日為歡樂美好的日子，向鄰舍餽送禮物。
Therefore the Jews scattered in every outlying region keep the fourteenth of Adar as a good day with gladness, each sending portions to his neighbour; while those who dwell in the chief cities keep also the fifteenth of Adar as a glad and good day, sending out portions to their neighbours.
9:20
ἔγραψεν δὲ Μαρδοχαῖος τοὺς λόγους τούτους εἰς βιβλίον καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν τοῖς Ιουδαίοις ὅσοι ἦσαν ἐν τῇ Ἀρταξέρξου βασιλείᾳ τοῖς ἐγγὺς καὶ τοῖς μακράν
末底改把這些話寫在書上，送給亞達薛西國中所有的猶太人，無論遠近。
And Mordecai wrote these words in a book and sent them out to the Jews, as many as were in the kingdom of Artaxerxes, both near and far,
9:21
στῆσαι τὰς ἡμέρας ταύτας ἀγαθὰς ἄγειν τε τὴν τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτην καὶ τὴν πεντεκαιδεκάτην τοῦ Αδαρ
要他們定這些日子為美好的日子，守亞達月十四日和十五日；
to establish these days as good days, and to keep the fourteenth and the fifteenth of Adar;
9:22
ἐν γὰρ ταύταις ταῖς ἡμέραις ἀνεπαύσαντο οἱ Ιουδαῖοι ἀπὸ τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν μῆνα ἐν ᾧ ἐστράφη αὐτοῖς ὃς ἦν Αδαρ ἀπὸ πένθους εἰς χαρὰν καὶ ἀπὸ ὀδύνης εἰς ἀγαθὴν ἡμέραν ἄγειν ὅλον ἀγαθὰς ἡμέρας γάμων καὶ εὐφροσύνης ἐξαποστέλλοντας μερίδας τοῖς φίλοις καὶ τοῖς πτωχοῖς
因為在這些日子裡，猶太人得以脫離仇敵而安息；這月，就是亞達月，對他們轉憂傷為喜樂、轉痛苦為美好的日子。他們要整月都守為美好的日子，有婚筵和歡樂，向朋友和窮人餽送禮物。
for in these days the Jews got rest from their enemies; and as for the month in which it was turned for them—which was Adar—from mourning into joy and from pain into a good day, they were to keep the whole of it as good days of wedding feasts and gladness, sending out portions to their friends and to the poor.
9:23
καὶ προσεδέξαντο οἱ Ιουδαῖοι καθὼς ἔγραψεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Μαρδοχαῖος
猶太人就照著末底改所寫給他們的接受了下來，
And the Jews accepted it, just as Mordecai had written to them,
9:24
πῶς Αμαν Αμαδαθου ὁ Μακεδὼν ἐπολέμει αὐτούς καθὼς ἔθετο ψήφισμα καὶ κλῆρον ἀφανίσαι αὐτούς
記念哈米大他的兒子、馬其頓人哈曼怎樣與他們爭戰，怎樣定下決議、抽了籤，要除滅他們；
telling how Haman son of Hammedatha the Macedonian made war on them, how he laid down a decree and a lot to wipe them out,
9:25
καὶ ὡς εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα λέγων κρεμάσαι τὸν Μαρδοχαῖον ὅσα δὲ ἐπεχείρησεν ἐπάξαι ἐπὶ τοὺς Ιουδαίους κακά ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ἐγένοντο καὶ ἐκρεμάσθη αὐτὸς καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτοῦ
他又怎樣進到王面前，說要把末底改掛起來；但他所圖謀要加在猶太人身上的一切惡事，都歸到他自己身上，他和他的兒女都被掛了起來。
and how he went in to the king proposing to hang Mordecai; but whatever evils he attempted to bring upon the Jews came upon himself, and he was hanged, he and his children.
9:26
διὰ τοῦτο ἐπεκλήθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι αὗται Φρουραι διὰ τοὺς κλήρους ὅτι τῇ διαλέκτῳ αὐτῶν καλοῦνται Φρουραι διὰ τοὺς λόγους τῆς ἐπιστολῆς ταύτης καὶ ὅσα πεπόνθασιν διὰ ταῦτα καὶ ὅσα αὐτοῖς ἐγένετο
因此，這些日子因著那籤的緣故被稱為「弗露萊」，原來在他們的方言中就是這樣稱呼的；又因著這信上的話，並他們為此所受的一切，以及臨到他們的一切事，
For this reason these days were called Phrourai, on account of the lots—for in their language they are called Phrourai—and on account of the words of this letter, and all that they had suffered on this account, and all that had befallen them.
9:27
καὶ ἔστησεν καὶ προσεδέχοντο οἱ Ιουδαῖοι ἐφ’ ἑαυτοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς προστεθειμένοις ἐπ’ αὐτῶν οὐδὲ μὴν ἄλλως χρήσονται αἱ δὲ ἡμέραι αὗται μνημόσυνον ἐπιτελούμενον κατὰ γενεὰν καὶ γενεὰν καὶ πόλιν καὶ πατριὰν καὶ χώραν
他就立定了這事，猶太人也為自己、為自己的後裔，並為歸附他們的人接受了下來，斷不更改。這些日子要作記念，世世代代，各城、各宗族、各省都要守著。
And he established it, and the Jews accepted it upon themselves and upon their seed and upon those joined to them; nor indeed shall they do otherwise. And these days are a memorial, kept up generation after generation, and city and family and region.
9:28
αἱ δὲ ἡμέραι αὗται τῶν Φρουραι ἀχθήσονται εἰς τὸν ἅπαντα χρόνον καὶ τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῶν οὐ μὴ ἐκλίπῃ ἐκ τῶν γενεῶν
這弗露萊的日子必存到永遠，它們的記念在世世代代中必不斷絕。
And these days of Phrourai shall be kept for all time, and the memorial of them shall never fail from among the generations.
9:29
καὶ ἔγραψεν Εσθηρ ἡ βασίλισσα θυγάτηρ Αμιναδαβ καὶ Μαρδοχαῖος ὁ Ιουδαῖος ὅσα ἐποίησαν τό τε στερέωμα τῆς ἐπιστολῆς τῶν Φρουραι
亞米拿達的女兒以斯帖王后，和猶太人末底改，把他們所行的一切，並弗露萊這信的確據，都寫了下來。
And Queen Esther, daughter of Aminadab, and Mordecai the Jew wrote down all that they had done, and the confirmation of the letter of Phrourai.
9:31
καὶ Μαρδοχαῖος καὶ Εσθηρ ἡ βασίλισσα ἔστησαν ἑαυτοῖς καθ’ ἑαυτῶν καὶ τότε στήσαντες κατὰ τῆς ὑγιείας αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν βουλὴν αὐτῶν
末底改和以斯帖王后為自己、憑自己立定了這事；他們既為自己的安康立定了，也立定了他們的決議。
And Mordecai and Queen Esther established it for themselves upon their own authority; and then, having established it for their own well-being, they established their resolve also.
9:32
καὶ Εσθηρ λόγῳ ἔστησεν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ἐγράφη εἰς μνημόσυνον
以斯帖用一句話把這事立定到永遠，並且記錄下來作為記念。
And Esther established it by a word for ever, and it was written down for a memorial.
