'Mountains' are Moses and the prophets: 'I lifted up my psalms unto the mountains.' But Christ makes old the first covenant, and the Jews do not know it—to whom it was said, 'If you had believed Moses, you would have believed Me.' The same One also overthrew the mountains of Jerusalem, even down to the letter, and the sanctuary. The same One also darkens the sun by His own brightness, and the stars.
