Of Apolinarius, while many of his works are preserved among many people, those which have come to us are these: the discourse to the aforesaid emperor; five books Against the Greeks; the first and second On Truth; the first and second Against the Jews; and what he afterwards composed against the heresy of the Phrygians, which not long afterward was set up as a novelty, but at that time was, as it were, just beginning to sprout, while Montanus, together with his false prophetesses, was making the beginnings of his deviation.
