83:11

ማኅሌት ፡ መዝሙር ፡ ዘአሳፍ ። እግዚኦ ፡ መኑ ፡ ከማከ ፤ ኢታርምም ፡ ወኢትጸመም ፡ እግዚኦ ።

Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

求你叫他們的首領像俄立和西伊伯，叫他們的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。

83:12

እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ወውዑ ፡ ፀርከ ፤ ወአንሥኡ ፡ ርእሶሙ ፡ ጸላእትከ ።

who said, “Let’s take possession of God’s pasture lands.”

他們說：我們要得上帝的住處，作為自己的產業。

83:13

ወተጓሕለውዎሙ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ለሕዝብከ ፤ ወተማከሩ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ቅዱሳኒከ ።

My God, make them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind.

我的上帝啊，求你叫他們像旋風的塵土，像風前的碎稭。

83:14

ወይቤሉ ፡ ንዑ ፡ ንሥርዎሙ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፤ ወኢይዝክሩ ፡ እንከ ፡ ስመ ፡ እስራኤል ።

As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,

火怎樣焚燒樹林，火焰怎樣燒着山嶺，

83:15

እስመ ፡ ተማከሩ ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ወዐረዩ ፤ ላዕሌከ ፡ ተሰካተዩ ፡ ወተካየዱ ። ተዓይኒሆሙ ፡ ለኢዶምያስ ፡ ወለእስማኤላውያን ፤

so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.

求你也照樣用狂風追趕他們，用暴雨恐嚇他們。

83:16

ሞአብ ፡ ወአጋራውያን ። ጌባል ፡ ወአሞን ፡ ወአማሌቅ ፤ ወአሎፍሊ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ጢሮስ ።

Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.

願你使他們滿面羞恥，好叫他們尋求你－耶和華的名！

83:17

ወአሶርሂ ፡ ኀበረ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፤ ወኮንዎሙ ፡ ረድኤተ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ሎጥ ።

Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;

願他們永遠羞愧驚惶！願他們慚愧滅亡！

83:18

ረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ምድያም ፡ ወሲሳራ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ኢያቤስ ፡ በፈለገ ፡ ቂሶን ። ወይሠረዉ ፡ ከመ ፡ እለ ፡ እንዶር ፤ ወይኩኑ ፡ ከመ ፡ መሬተ ፡ ምድር ። ረስዮሙ ፡ ለመላእክቲሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሆሬብ ፡ ወዜብ ፤ ወዜብሄል ፡ ወሰልማና ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ መላእክቲሆሙ ። እለ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ንወርስ ፡ ምስዋዒሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ። አምላኪየ ፡ ረስዮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ መንኰራኵር ፤ ወከመ ፡ ሣዕር ፡ ዘቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ እሳት ። ወከመ ፡ እሳት ፡ ዘያውዒ ፡ ገዳመ ፤ ወከመ ፡ ነበልባል ፡ ዘያነድድ ፡ አድባረ ። ከማሁ ፡ ስድዶሙ ፡ በዐውሎከ ፤ ወሁኮሙ ፡ በመቅሠፍትከ ። ምላእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ኀሳረ ፤ ወያእምሩ ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ። ይትኀፈሩ ፡ ወይትሀወኩ ፡ ለዓለመ ፡ ዓለም ፤ ወይኅሰሩ ፡ ወይትሐጐሉ ። ወያእምሩ ፡ ስመከ ፡ እግዚኦ ፤ ከመ ፡ አንተ ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.

使他們知道：惟獨你－名為耶和華的－是全地以上的至高者！
