📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And I said: What are these coming to do? And he said to me: These are the horns that scattered Judah and Israel; they broke them, and none of them lifted up his head. And these came in to sharpen them in their hands, the four horns, the nations that lift up a horn against the land of the Lord to scatter her.
And he said to him: Run and speak to that young man, saying: Jerusalem shall be inhabited fruitfully, because of the multitude of people and cattle in her midst.
For thus says the Lord Almighty: After glory he has sent me to the nations that plundered you; for whoever touches you is as one who touches the pupil of his own eye.
For behold, I am bringing my hand upon them, and they shall become spoil for those who served them; and you shall know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.
And many nations shall take refuge in the Lord on that day, and they shall become his people, and they shall encamp in your midst; and you shall know that the Lord Almighty has sent me out to you.
