📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

And I turned and lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots coming out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.
The one in which the black horses were went out to the land of the north, and the white ones went out after them, and the spotted ones went out to the land of the south.
Take the things from the captivity, from the rulers and from her useful men and from those who have come to know her; and on that day you shall go into the house of Josiah son of Sophonias, who has come from Babylon.
And you shall say to him: Thus says the Lord Almighty: Behold, a man, East is his name, and from beneath him he shall rise up, and he shall build the house of the Lord.
And he shall receive excellence, and he shall sit and rule upon his throne; and the priest shall be at his right hand, and a peaceable counsel shall be between the two of them.
And the crown shall be for those who wait patiently and for her useful men and for those who have come to know her, and for the favour of the son of Sophonias, and for a psalm in the house of the Lord.
And those far from them shall come and shall build in the house of the Lord; and you shall know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. And it shall be, if you listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God.
