ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

11:1
Open your doors, Lebanon, and let fire devour your cedars.
Let the pine wail, for the cedar has fallen, because the great ones have been greatly ruined. Wail, oaks of Bashan, for the thick forest has been pulled down.
A sound of shepherds wailing, for their majesty has been ruined; a sound of lions roaring, for the pride of the Jordan has been ruined.
Thus says the Lord Almighty: Shepherd the sheep of slaughter.
Those who acquired them slaughtered them and felt no remorse; and those who sold them said, Blessed be the Lord, and we have grown rich. And their shepherds felt nothing at all for them.
Therefore I will no longer spare the inhabitants of the land, says the Lord. And behold, I am handing over the people, each into the hands of his neighbor and into the hands of his king; and they will cut down the land, and I will not rescue out of their hand.
So I will shepherd the sheep of slaughter, into the land of Canaan. And I will take for myself two staffs: the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Measuring-Line; and I will shepherd the sheep.
And I will remove the three shepherds in one month; and my soul will be weighed down over them, for their souls also howled against me.
And I said, I will not shepherd you. Let what is dying die, and let what is failing fail; and let those that remain devour, each one the flesh of his neighbor.
And I will take my good staff and cast it away, to annul my covenant which I made with all the peoples.
And it will be annulled in that day; and the Canaanites, the sheep that are kept, will know that it is the word of the Lord.
And I will say to them, If it is good in your eyes, weigh out and give me my wages; but if not, refuse. And they weighed out my wages, thirty pieces of silver.
And the Lord said to me, Put them into the smelting furnace, and see whether it is genuine, in the way that I was tested on their account. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord, into the smelting furnace.
And I cast away the second staff, the Measuring-Line, to annul the holding between Judah and Israel.
And the Lord said to me, Take for yourself once more the equipment of a shepherd, of an inexperienced shepherd.
For behold, I am raising up a shepherd over the land: the one that is failing he will not visit, and the scattered he will not seek, and the crushed he will not heal, and the sound one he will not set straight; but he will devour the flesh of the choice ones and will wrench off their ankle bones.
Oh, you who shepherd worthless things and have forsaken the sheep! A sword upon his arms and upon his right eye! His arm will utterly wither, and his right eye will be utterly blinded.
