ወልድየ ፡ ሕገገ ፡ ዚአየ ፡ ኢትርሳዕ ፡ ወቃላትየ ፡ ይዕቀብ ፡ ልብከ ።
My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,
我兒，不要忘記我的法則 ； 你心要謹守我的誡命；
3:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ኑኀ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወዓመታተ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ ወሰላም ፡ ይትዌሰኩከ ።
for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.
因為它必將長久的日子， 生命的年數與平安，加給你。
3:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ምጽዋት ፡ ወሃይማኖት ፡ ኢይርኃቀ ፡ እንቆ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ክዳድከ ፡ ወጸሐፎ ፡ በጽሌ ፡ ልብከ ።
Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.
不可使慈愛、誠實離開你， 要繫在你頸項上，刻在你心版上。
3:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወትረክብ ፡ ሞገሰ ፡ ሐሊ ፡ ሠናየ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሰብእ ።
So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
這樣，你必在上帝和世人眼前 蒙恩寵，有聰明。
3:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ሀሉ ፡ ተወኪለከ ፡ በእግዚአብሔር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብከ ፡ ወበጥበብከ ፡ ኢትትዓበይ ።
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.
你要專心仰賴耶和華， 不可倚靠自己的聰明，
3:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
በኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊከ ፡ አክብራ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታርትዕ ፡ ፍናዊከ ።
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
在你一切所行的事上都要認定他， 他必指引你的路。
3:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ኢትኩን ፡ ጠቢበ ፡ ዘበርእስከ ፡ አላ ፡ ፍርሆ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወተገኀሥ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ እኩይ ።
Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
不要自以為有智慧； 要敬畏耶和華，遠離惡事。
3:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወሶቤሃ ፡ ፈውሰ ፡ ይከውነከ ፡ ለሥጋከ ፡ ወሥራየ ፡ ለአዕፅምቲከ ።
It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.
這便醫治你的肚臍， 滋潤你的百骨。
3:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
አክብሮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ እምዘ ፡ በጽድቅ ፡ ጥሪትከ ፡ ወአብእ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ቀዳሜ ፡ ማእረርከ ፡ ወእምፍሬ ፡ ጽድቅከ ።
Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase;
你要以財物 和一切初熟的土產尊榮耶和華。
3:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ከመ ፡ ይስፍፋ ፡ መዛግብቲከ ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ ሥርናየ ፡ ወወይነ ፡ ማኅበብቲከ ፡ ይስፍፍ ።
so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
這樣，你的倉房必充滿有餘； 你的酒醡有新酒盈溢。
3:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወልድየ ፡ ኢትትአንተል ፡ ተግሣፀ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢትድክም ፡ እምኀቤሁ ፡ በተዛልፎቱ ።
My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction;
我兒，你不可輕看耶和華的管教 ， 也不可厭煩他的責備；
3:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እስመ ፡ ዘአፍቀረ ፡ ይጌሥፅ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ አብ ፡ ዘይሠምር ፡ ወልዶ ፡ ወይቀሥፍ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ውሉዶ ፡ ዘኢይትዌከፉ ።
for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.
因為耶和華所愛的，他必責備， 正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。
3:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ብፁዕ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘይረክባ ፡ ለጥበብ ፡ ወኢ ፡ መዋቲ ፡ ዘአእመረ ፡ ሐኒከ ።
Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding.
得智慧，得聰明的， 這人便為有福。
3:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ይኄይስ ፡ ኪያሃ ፡ ተገብሮ ፡ እምተገብሮ ፡ ወርቅ ፡ ወብሩር ፡ ወእምብዙኅ ፡ መዛግብት ።
For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.
因為得智慧勝過得銀子， 其利益強如精金，
3:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ክብርት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ እምዕንቊ ፡ በብዙኅ ፡ ሤጡ ፡ ወኢይትቃወማ ፡ ምንትኒ ፡ እኩይ ።
She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.
比珍珠 寶貴； 你一切所喜愛的，都不足與比較。
3:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ሠናይት ፡ ሀገሪት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይቀርብዋ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ክብር ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ መጠና ፡ ኑኀ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወዓመተ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ ውስተ ፡ የማና ።
Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor.
她右手有長壽， 左手有富貴。
3:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ውስተ ፡ ጸጋማ ፡ ክብር ፡ ወብዕል ፡ ወእምአፉሃ ፡ ይወጽእ ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ሕገ ፡ ወምጽዋተ ፡ በልሳና ፡ ትለብስ ፡ ፍናዊሃ ፡ ፍናወ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ አሠራ ፡ በሰላም ።
Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.
她的道是安樂； 她的路全是平安。
3:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ዕፅ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ለኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትመረጐዝዋ ፡ ወለእለ ፡ ይትአመኑ ፡ ባቲ ፡ ዘበእግዚአብሔር ፡ ፅኑዕ ።
She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.
她與持守她的作生命樹； 持定她的，俱各有福。
3:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እግዚአብሔር ፡ በጥበብ ፡ ሣረራ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወአስተዳለወ ፡ ሰማያተ ፡ በአእምሮ ።
By wisdom Yahweh founded the earth. By understanding, he established the heavens.
耶和華以智慧立地， 以聰明定天，
3:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወበተዓውቆቱ ፡ ቀላያት ፡ ነቅዑ ፡ ወደመናትኒ ፡ ያውኅዙ ፡ ጠላተ ።
By his knowledge, the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew.
以知識使深淵裂開， 使天空滴下甘露。
3:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወልድየ ፡ ኢትትሀከይ ፡ ዕቀብ ፡ ምክርየ ፡ ወሕሊናየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሕየው ፡ ነፍስከ ።
My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion,
我兒，要謹守真智慧和謀略， 不可使她離開你的眼目。
3:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወሞገሰ ፡ ይከውነከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ክዳድከ ፡ ወይከውን ፡ ፈውሰ ፡ ለሥጋከ ፡ ወሥራየ ፡ ለአዕፅምቲከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሑር ፡ ጥቡዐ ፡ በሰላም ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊከ ።
so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck.
這樣，她必作你的生命， 頸項的美飾。
3:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወእገሪከ ፡ ኢይትዓቀፉ ፡ እመሂ ፡ ትነብር ፡ ኢትፍራህ ።
Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.
你就坦然行路， 不致碰腳。
3:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወእመኒ ፡ ሰከብከ ፡ ሐዋዘ ፡ ትነውም ፡ ወኢተፈርህ ፡ ዘይመጽአከ ፡ ሀከከ ፡ ወመራደ ፡ ረሲዓን ፡ ዘይመጽእ ።
When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet.
你躺下，必不懼怕； 你躺臥，睡得香甜。
3:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይሁሉ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊከ ፡ ወያቀውሞን ፡ ለእገሪከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢያንቀልቅላ ።
Don’t be afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes;
忽然來的驚恐，不要害怕； 惡人遭毀滅，也不要恐懼。
3:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወኢትትሀከይ ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ለፅኑስ ፡ መጠነ ፡ ቦ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴከ ፡ ርድኦ ።
for Yahweh will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.
因為耶和華是你所倚靠的； 他必保守你的腳不陷入網羅。
3:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወኢትበል ፡ ሑር ፡ ወግባእ ፡ ጌሠመ ፡ እሁበከ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትክል ፡ ገቢረ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢተአምር ፡ ዘትወልድ ፡ ሳኒታ ።
Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
你手若有行善的力量，不可推辭， 就當向那應得的人施行。
3:28▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወዓዲ ፡ ኢተሐሊ ፡ እኩየ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ዓርክከ ፡ ዘየኃድር ፡ ወይትዌከል ፡ ብከ ፡ ወኢትፍቅድ ፡ ተጻልኦ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ በከ ፡ እመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ዘይገብር ፡ እኩየ ፡ ላዕሌከ ።
Don’t say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,” when you have it by you.
你那裏若有現成的，不可對鄰舍說： 去吧，明天再來，我必給你。
3:29▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ኢትጥሪ ፡ ዝንጓጔ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ እኩያን ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትኩን ፡ ከማሆሙ ።
Don’t devise evil against your neighbor, since he dwells securely by you.
你的鄰舍既在你附近安居， 你不可設計害他。
3:30▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወኢትቅናእ ፡ በፍናዊሆሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ርስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ በኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኃጥእ ፡ ወምስለ ፡ ጻድቃን ፡ ኢይዴመር ።
Don’t strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm.
人未曾加害與你， 不可無故與他相爭。
3:31▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወርገመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አብያተ ፡ ረሲዓን ።
Don’t envy the man of violence. Choose none of his ways.
不可嫉妒強暴的人， 也不可選擇他所行的路。
3:32▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወውስተ ፡ አብያተ ፡ ጻድቃን ፡ በረከተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወለዕቡያን ፡ ይትቃወሞሙ ፡ ንዴት ።
For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh, but his friendship is with the upright.
因為，乖僻人為耶和華所憎惡； 正直人為他所親密。
3:33▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወለትሑታን ፡ ይሁቦሙ ፡ ክብረ ፡ ወክብረ ፡ ይወርሱ ፡ ጠቢባን ።
Yahweh’s curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous.
耶和華咒詛惡人的家庭， 賜福與義人的居所。
3:34▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወረሲዓንሰ ፡ አዕበዩ ፡ ኃሣረ ።
Surely he mocks the mockers, but he gives grace to the humble.
他譏誚那好譏誚的人， 賜恩給謙卑的人。
