I saw the Lord standing upon the altar, and he said: Strike the mercy seat, and the porches shall be shaken; and cut through into the heads of them all. And the rest of them I will kill with the sword; not one of them who flees shall get away, and not one of them who escapes shall be saved.
If they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, from there I will search them out and take them; and if they dive down out of my sight into the depths of the sea, there I will command the dragon, and it shall bite them.
And if they go into captivity before the face of their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it shall kill them; and I will fix my eyes upon them for evil and not for good.
And the Lord, the Lord God the Almighty — he who touches the earth and makes it shake, and all who dwell in it shall mourn; and its consummation shall rise like a river, and shall go down like the river of Egypt.
He who builds his ascent into heaven, and founds his promise upon the earth; who calls for the water of the sea and pours it out upon the face of the earth — the Lord God the Almighty is his name.
Are you not to me like the sons of the Ethiopians, O sons of Israel? says the Lord. Did I not bring Israel up out of the land of Egypt, and the foreigners out of Cappadocia, and the Syrians out of a pit?
Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the kingdom of sinners, and I will remove it from the face of the earth — except that I will not utterly remove the house of Jacob, says the Lord.
For behold, I give the command, and I will winnow the house of Israel among all the nations, just as one is winnowed with a winnowing fan; and not a fragment shall fall upon the ground.
In that day I will raise up the tent of David that has fallen, and rebuild what has fallen of it, and raise up what has been razed of it, and rebuild it as in the days of old.
Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and the threshing shall overtake the vintage, and the grape shall ripen at sowing time; and the mountains shall drip sweetness, and all the hills shall be overgrown.
And I will turn back the captivity of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the cities that were laid waste and dwell in them, and they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and plant gardens and eat their fruit.
