9:1
ወእንዘ ዹኀልፍ እምህዚ ርእዚ ብእሎ ዘዕዉሩ ተወልደ።
As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
耶穌過去的時候看芋䞀個人生䟆是瞎県的。
9:2
ወተስእልዎ አርዳኢሁ ወይቀልዎ ሚቢ በኀጢአተ መኑ ተወልደ ዝንቱ ዕዉር በዘርእሱኑ ወሚመ በዘአዝማዲሁ።
His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
門埒問耶穌說「拉比這人生䟆是瞎県的是誰犯了眪是這人呢是他父母呢」
9:3
ወይቀሎሙ እግዚእ ኢዚሱስ ኢ ውእቱ አበሰ ወኢ አዝማዲሁ ዳእሙ ኹመ ያስተርኢ ግብሚ እግዚአብሔር በላዕሌሁ።
Jesus answered, “This man didn’t sin, nor did his parents, but that the works of God might be revealed in him.
耶穌回答說「也䞍是這人犯了眪也䞍是他父母犯了眪是芁圚他身䞊顯出䞊垝的䜜為䟆。
9:4
ወባሕቱ ርቱዕ ሊተ እግበር ግብሮ ለዘፈነወኒ እንዘ መዓልት ውእቱ እስመ ትመጜእ ሌሊት ዘኢይክል ቊቱ አሐዱሂ ገቢሚ።
I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.
趁着癜日我們必須做那差我䟆者的工黑倜將到就沒有人胜做工了。
9:5
እንዘ ሀሎኩ ውስተ ዓለም አነ ውእቱ ብርሃኑ ለዓለም።
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
我圚䞖䞊的時候是䞖䞊的光。」
9:6
ወዘንተ ብሂሎ ወሹቀ ውስተ ምድር ወገብሚ ጜቡሚ በምራቁ ወቀብዖ አዕይንቲሁ ለውእቱ ዕዉር።
When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,
耶穌說了這話就吐唟沫圚地䞊甚唟沫和泥抹圚瞎子的県睛䞊
9:7
ወይቀሎ ሑር ተኀፀብ በምጥማቃተ ሰሊሆም ዘበትርጓሜሁ ሐዋርያ ወሖሹ ወተኀፅበ ወገብአ እንዘ ይሬኢ።
and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
對他說「䜠埀西矅亞池子裏去掗。」西矅亞翻出䟆就是「奉差遣」。 他去䞀掗回頭就看芋了。
9:8
ወአግዋሪሁሰ ወእለሂ ዹአምርዎ ትካት ወይሬእይዎ እንዘ ይስእል ይቀሉ አኮኑ ዝንቱ ውእቱ ዘይነብር ውስተ ፍኖት ወይስእል።
Therefore the neighbors and those who saw that he was blind before said, “Isn’t this he who sat and begged?”
他的鄰舍和那玠垞芋他是蚎飯的就說「這䞍是那埞前坐着蚎飯的人嗎」
9:9
ወቩ እለ ይቀሉ ውእቱ ዝንቱ ወካልኣን ይቀሉ አልቩ አላ ይመስሎ ወለሊሁሰ ይቀ አነ ውእቱ።
Others were saying, “It is he.” Still others were saying, “He looks like him.” He said, “I am he.”
有人說「是他」又有人說「䞍是卻是像他。」他自己說「是我。」
9:10
ወይቀልዎ እፎ ተኚሥታ አዕይንቲኚ።
They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”
他們對他說「䜠的県睛是怎麌開的呢」
9:11
ወአውሥአ ወይቀሎሙ ብእሲ ዘስሙ ኢዚሱስ ጜቡሚ ገብሚ በምራቁ ወቀብዐኒ አዕይንትዚ ወይቀለኒ ሑር ተኀፀብ በምጥማቃተ ሰሊሆም ወሖርኩ ወተኀፀብኩ ወርኢኩ።
He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”
他回答說「有䞀個人名叫耶穌他和泥抹我的県睛對我說『䜠埀西矅亞池子去掗。』我去䞀掗就看芋了。」
9:12
ወይቀልዎ አይሁድ አይቮ ውእቱ ብእሲሁ ወይቀሎሙ ኢዚአምር።
Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”
他們說「那個人圚哪裏」他說「我䞍知道。」
9:13
ወወሰድዎ ኀበ ፈሪሳውያን ለውእቱ ዘዕዉሩ ተወልደ።
They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.
他們把埞前瞎県的人垶到法利賜人那裏。
9:14
እስመ ሰንበት አሜሁ አመ ገብሚ እግዚእ ኢዚሱስ ጜቡሚ በምራቁ ወኚሠቶ አዕይንቲሁ።
It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
耶穌和泥開他県睛的日子是安息日。
9:15
ወተስእልዎ ካዕበ ፈሪሳውያን ዘኹመ እፎ ርእዚ ወይቀሎሙ ጜቡሚ ገብሚ በምራቁ ወወደዹ ውስተ አዕይንትዚ ወሖርኩ ወተኀፀብኩ ወርኢኩ።
Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”
法利賜人也問他是怎麌埗看芋的。瞎子對他們說「他把泥抹圚我的県睛䞊我去䞀掗就看芋了。」
9:16
ወቩ እለ ይቀሉ እምፈሪሳውያን ዝንቱ ብእሲ ኢኮነ እምእግዚአብሔር ዘኢዚዐቅብ ሰንበተ ወቩ እለ ይቀሉ በአይቮ ይክል ብእሲ ኃጥእ ገቢሚ ዘኹመዝ ተኣምሚ ወተናፈቁ በበይናቲሆሙ በእንተ ዝንቱ ነገር።
Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he doesn’t keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” So there was division among them.
法利賜人䞭有的說「這個人䞍是埞䞊垝䟆的因為他䞍守安息日。」又有人說「䞀個眪人怎胜行這暣的神蹟呢」他們就起了玛爭。
9:17
ወይቀልዎ ካዕበ ለውእቱ ዕዉር ምንተ ትብል አንተ በእንቲኣሁ እስመ ኹሠተኹ አዕይንቲኚ ወይቀሎሙ ነቢይ ውእቱ።
Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
他們又對瞎子說「他既然開了䜠的県睛䜠說他是怎暣的人呢」他說「是個先知。」
9:18
ወኢአምንዎ አይሁድ ኹመ ዕዉሩ ተወልደ ወርእዚ እስኚ ጾውዑ አዝማዲሁ ለዘርእዚ።
The Jews therefore didn’t believe concerning him, that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,
猶倪人䞍信他埞前是瞎県埌䟆胜看芋的等到叫了他的父母䟆
9:19
ወተስእልዎሙ ወይቀልዎሙ ዝኑ ውእቱ ወልድክሙ ዘትብሉ ዕዉሩ ተወልደ ወበእፎ እንኚ ይእዜ ይሬኢ።
and asked them, “Is this your son, whom you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”
問他們說「這是䜠們的兒子嗎䜠們說他生䟆是瞎県的劂今怎麌胜看芋了呢」
9:20
ወአውሥኡ አዝማዲሁ ወይቀሉ ነአምር ኹመ ዝንቱ ውእቱ ወልድነ ወኹመሂ ዕዉሩ ተወልደ።
His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
他父母回答說「他是我們的兒子生䟆就瞎県這是我們知道的。
9:21
ወይእዜሰ ዘኹመ እፎ ይሬኢ አው መኑ ኚሠቶ አዕይንቲሁ ኢነአምር ኪያሁ ተሰአልዎ እስመ ልሂቅ ውእቱ ወይክል ተናግሮ ለርእሱ።
but how he now sees, we don’t know; or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself.”
至斌他劂今怎麌胜看芋我們卻䞍知道是誰開了他的県睛我們也䞍知道。他已經成了人䜠們問他吧他自己必胜說。」
9:22
ወዘንተ ይቀሉ አዝማዲሁ እስመ ይፈርህዎሙ ለአይሁድ እስመ አዘዙ አይሁድ ለእመቊ ዘአምነ ቊቱ ኹመ ውእቱ ክርስቶስ ይሰደድ እምኵራብ።
His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
他父母說這話是怕猶倪人因為猶倪人已經商議定了若有認耶穌是基督的芁把他趕出會堂。
9:23
ወበእንተ ዝንቱ ይቀሉ አዝማዲሁ ልሂቅ ውእቱ ሎቱ ተሰአልዎ።
Therefore his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”
因歀他父母說「他已經成了人䜠們問他吧。」
9:24
ወጾውዕዎ ዳግመ ለውእቱ ብእሲ ዕዉር ወይቀልዎ ሑር ሀብ ስብሐተ ለእግዚአብሔር ንሕነሰ ነአምር ኹመ ኃጥእ ውእቱ ዝ ብእሲ።
So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”
所以法利賜人第二次叫了那埞前瞎県的人䟆對他說「䜠該將抮耀歞絊䞊垝我們知道這人是個眪人。」
9:25
ወአውሥአ ውእቱ ብእሲ ወይቀሎሙ ኢዚአምር ለእመ ኃጥእ ውእቱ ወአሐተ ባሕቱ አአምር ኹመ ዕዉር አነ ወይእዜ እሬኢ።
He therefore answered, “I don’t know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
他說「他是個眪人䞍是我䞍知道有䞀件事我知道埞前我是県瞎的劂今胜看芋了。」
9:26
ወይቀልዎ ካዕበ ምንተ ገብሚ ለኹ ወእፎ ኹሠተኹ አዕይንቲኚ።
They said to him again, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”
他們就問他說「他向䜠做甚麌是怎麌開了䜠的県睛呢」
9:27
ወአውሥአ ወይቀሎሙ ነገርኩክሙ ወኢትሰምዑ ምንተ እንኚ ካዕበ ትፈቅዱ ትስምዑ አንትሙሂ አርዳኢሁኑ ትኩኑ ትፈቅዱ።
He answered them, “I told you already, and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You don’t also want to become his disciples, do you?”
他回答說「我方才告蚎䜠們䜠們䞍聜為甚麌又芁聜呢莫非䜠們也芁䜜他的門埒嗎」
9:28
ወጾአልዎ ወይቀልዎ አንተ ኩን ሚድኊ ሎቱ ወንሕነሰ አርዳኢሁ ለሙሮ ንሕነ።
They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
他們就眵他說「䜠是他的門埒我們是摩西的門埒。
9:29
ወንሕነ ነአምር ኹመ ለሙሮ ተናገሮ እግዚአብሔር ገጾ በገጜ ወለዝንቱሰ ኢነአምሮ ኹመ እምአይ቎ ውእቱ።
We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”
䞊垝對摩西說話是我們知道的只是這個人我們䞍知道他埞哪裏䟆」
9:30
ወአውሥአ ውእቱ ብእሲ ወይቀሎሙ ዓዲ በዝንቱ ጥቀ መንክር ውእቱ ዘኢተአምርዎ እምአይ቎ ውእቱ ወኹሠተኒ አዕይንትዚ።
The man answered them, “How amazing! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.
那人回答說「他開了我的県睛䜠們竟䞍知道他埞哪裏䟆這真是奇怪
9:31
ወንሕነሰ ነአምር ባሕቱ ኹመ ለኃጥኣን ኢይሰምዖሙ እግዚአብሔር ዘእንበለ ለዘይፈርሆ ለእግዚአብሔር ወለዘይገብር ፈቃዶ ሎቱ ይሰምዖ።
We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him.
我們知道䞊垝䞍聜眪人惟有敬奉䞊垝、遵行他旚意的䞊垝才聜他。
9:32
እምአመ ተፈጥሚ ዓለም ኢተሰምዐ ግሙራ ኹመ ቩ ዘዕዉሩ ተወልደ ወተኚሥታ አዕይንቲሁ።
Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.
埞創䞖以䟆未曟聜芋有人把生䟆是瞎子的県睛開了。
9:33
ሶበሰ ኢኮነ እምኀበ እግዚአብሔር ዝንቱ ብእሲ እምኢክህለ ገቢሚ ወኢምንተኒ።
If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”
這人若䞍是埞䞊垝䟆的甚麌也䞍胜做。」
9:34
ወአውሥኡ ወይቀልዎ ዘለሊኹ በኀጢአት ተወለድኚ አንተሁ ትሜህሚነ ለነ ወሰደድዎ ወአውፅእዎ አፍኣ።
They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” Then they threw him out.
他們回答說「䜠党然生圚眪孜䞭還芁教蚓我們嗎」斌是把他趕出去了。
9:35
ወሰምዐ እግዚእ ኢዚሱስ ኹመ አውፅእዎ አፍኣ ወሹኹቩ ወይቀሎ ተአምንሁ አንተ በወልደ እግዚአብሔር።
Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”
耶穌聜說他們把他趕出去埌䟆遇芋他就說「䜠信䞊垝的兒子嗎」
9:36
ወአውሥአ ውእቱ ብእሲ ወይቀ መኑ ውእቱ ወልደ እግዚአብሔር እግዚኊ ኹመ እእመን ቊቱ።
He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”
他回答說「䞻啊誰是䞊垝的兒子叫我信他呢」
9:37
ወይቀሎ እግዚእ ኢዚሱስ ዘትሬእዮ ወዘይትናገር ምስሌኚ ውእቱ ዝንቱ።
Jesus said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”
耶穌說「䜠已經看芋他珟圚和䜠說話的就是他。」
9:38
ወይቀ አአምን እግዚኊ ወሰገደ ሎቱ።
He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.
他說「䞻啊我信」就拜耶穌。
9:39
ወይቀሎ እግዚእ ኢዚሱስ አንሰኬ መጻእኩ ለኵነኔ ዝንቱ ዓለም ኹመ እለ ኢይሬእዩ ይርአዩ ወእለኒ ይሬእዩ ይዑሩ።
Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”
耶穌說「我為審刀到這䞖䞊䟆叫䞍胜看芋的可以看芋胜看芋的反瞎了県。」
9:40
ወቩ እምፈሪሳውያን እለ ሀለዉ ምስሌሁ እለ ሰምዑ ዘንተ ወይቀልዎ ንሕነኒኬ ዕዉራንኑ ንሕነ።
Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”
同他圚那裏的法利賜人聜芋這話就說「難道我們也瞎了県嗎」
9:41
ወይቀሎሙ እግዚእ ኢዚሱስ ሶበሰ ዕዉራን አንትሙ እምኢኮነክሙ ጌጋዹ ወይእዜሰ ባሕቱ ንቡር ጌጋይክሙ እስመ ትብሉ ንሬኢ ወኢትሬእዩ ወበእንተዝ ኢይትኀደግ ለክሙ ጌጋይክሙ።
Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
耶穌對他們說「䜠們若瞎了県就沒有眪了䜆劂今䜠們說『我們胜看芋』所以䜠們的眪還圚。」
