25:1
ወሞተ፡ ሳሙኤል፡ ወተጋብኡ፡ ኵሉ፡ እስራኤል፡ ወበከይዎ፡ ወቀበርዎ፡ ውስተ፡ ቤቱ፡ ውስተ፡ አርማቴም፡ ወተንሥአ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወወረደ፡ ውስተ፡ ሐቅለ፡ ማኦን።
Samuel died; and all Israel gathered themselves together and mourned for him, and buried him at his house at Ramah. Then David arose and went down to the wilderness of Paran.
撒母耳死了,以色列眾人聚集,為他哀哭,將他葬在拉瑪-他自己的墳墓 裏。 大衛和亞比該 大衛起身,下到巴蘭的曠野。
25:2
ወሀሎ፡ ብእሲ፡ ውስተ፡ ማኦን፡ ወመራዕዪሁ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀርሜሎስ፡ ይነብር፡ ወዐቢይ፡ ውእቱ፡ ብእሲ፡ ጥቀ፡ ወቦ፡ መራዕየ፡ አባግዕ፡ ሠላሳ፡ ምእት፡ ወመራዕየ፡ አጣሊ፡ ዐሠርቱ፡ ምእት፡ ወሖረ፡ ህየ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀርሜሎስ፡ ከመ፡ ይቅርጽ፡ አባግዒሁ።
There was a man in Maon whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great. He had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats; and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.
在瑪雲有一個人,他的產業在迦密,是一個大富戶,有三千綿羊,一千山羊;他正在迦密剪羊毛。
25:3
ወስሙ፡ ለውእቱ፡ ብእሲ፡ ናበል፡ ወስመ፡ ብእሲቱ፡ አቤግያ፡ ወብእሲቱሰ፡ ኄርት፡ ወጠበብ፡ ወሠናይት፡ ወላሕይት፡ ጥቀ፡ ወውአቱሰ፡ ብእሲ፡ እኩይ፡ ምግባሪሁ፡ ወለዋው፡ ወደንጻዊ፡ ብእሲሁ።
Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail. This woman was intelligent and had a beautiful face; but the man was surly and evil in his doings. He was of the house of Caleb.
那人名叫拿八,是迦勒族的人;他的妻名叫亞比該,是聰明俊美的婦人。拿八為人剛愎凶惡。
25:4
ወሰምዐ፡ ዳዊት፡ በሐቅል፡ ከመ፡ ይቀርጽ፡ አባግዒሁ፡ ናባል፡ በቀርሜሎስ።
David heard in the wilderness that Nabal was shearing his sheep.
大衛在曠野聽見說拿八剪羊毛,
25:5
ወለአከ፡ ዳዊት፡ ደቀ፡ ዐሠርተ፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ ለደቁ፡ ሖሩ፡ ዕርጉ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀርሜሎስ፡ ኀበ፡ ናባል፡ ወበልዎ፡ በቃልየ፡ ሰላምአ፡ ለከአ።
David sent ten young men; and David said to the young men, “Go up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name.
大衛就打發十個僕人,吩咐他們說:「你們上迦密去見拿八,提我的名問他安。
25:6
ወበልዎ፡ ዳኅንኑአ፡ አንተአ፡ ወዳኅንኑአ፡ ቤትከአ፡ ወዳኀንኑአ፡ ሰብእከአ።
Tell him, ‘Long life to you! Peace be to you! Peace be to your house! Peace be to all that you have!
要對那富戶如此說:『願你平安,願你家平安,願你一切所有的都平安。
25:7
ወይእዜኒአ፡ ሰብእአ፡ ነገሩኒአ፡ እለ፡ ሀለዉአ፡ ምስሌነአ፡ ውስተ፡ ሐቅልአ፡ ከመ፡ ይቀርጹአ፡ አባግዒከአ፡ ወኢከላእናሆሙአ፡ ወአልቦአ፡ ዘአዘዝናሆሙአ፡ በኵሉአ፡ መዋዕልአ፡ ዘሀሎነአ፡ ምስሌሆሙአ፡ ውስተአ፡ ቀርሜሎስአ።
Now I have heard that you have shearers. Your shepherds have now been with us, and we didn’t harm them. Nothing was missing from them all the time they were in Carmel.
現在我聽說有人為你剪羊毛,你的牧人在迦密的時候和我們在一處,我們沒有欺負他們,他們也未曾失落甚麼。
25:8
ወተሰአሎሙ፡ ለደቂቅከአ፡ ወያየድዑከአ፡ ወይእዜኒአ፡ ሞገሰአ፡ ይርከቡአ፡ ደቅከአ፡ ቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲከአ፡ ወፈኑአ፡ ለዳዊትአ፡ ወልድከአ፡ እምዘአ፡ ብከአ፡ ውስተአ፡ እዴከአ።
Ask your young men, and they will tell you. Therefore let the young men find favor in your eyes, for we come on a good day. Please give whatever comes to your hand to your servants and to your son David.’”
可以問你的僕人,他們必告訴你。所以願我的僕人在你眼前蒙恩,因為是在好日子來的。求你隨手取點賜與僕人和你兒子大衛。』」
25:9
ወበጽሑ፡ ደቀ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወነገርዎ፡ ለናባል፡ ዘንተ፡ ነገረ፡ በቃለ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘለአኮሙ፡ ወተንሥአ።
When David’s young men came, they spoke to Nabal all those words in the name of David, and waited.
大衛的僕人到了,將這話提大衛的名都告訴了拿八,就住了口。
25:10
ወአውሥኦሙ፡ ለደቀ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወይቤሎሙ፡ መኑ፡ ውእቱ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወመኑ፡ ውእቱ፡ ወልደ፡ እሴይ ፤ ዮም፡ አብዱ፡ አግብርት፡ ወበዝኁ፡ እለ፡ ተኀጥኡ፡ እምአጋዕዝቲሆሙ።
Nabal answered David’s servants and said, “Who is David? Who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants who break away from their masters these days.
拿八回答大衛的僕人說:「大衛是誰?耶西的兒子是誰?近來悖逆主人奔逃的僕人甚多,
25:11
ለምንት፡ ሊተ፡ አነ፡ እነሥእ፡ ኅብስትየ።
Shall I then take my bread, my water, and my meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men who I don’t know where they come from?”
我豈可將飲食和為我剪羊毛人所宰的肉給我不知道從哪裏來的人呢?」
25:12
ወወይንየ፡ ወሥጋየ፡ ዘጠባሕኩ፡ ለእለ፡ ይቀርጹ፡ አባግዕየ፡ ወእፌኑ፡ ለሰብእ፡ ዘኢያአምር፡ እምአይቴ፡ እሙንቱ።
So David’s young men turned on their way and went back, and came and told him all these words.
大衛的僕人就轉身從原路回去,照這話告訴大衛。
25:13
ወተመይጡ፡ ደቀ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወገብኡ፡ ፍኖቶሙ፡ ወበጽሑ፡ ወዜነውዎ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ዘንተ፡ ነገረ።
David said to his men, “Every man put on his sword!” Every man put on his sword. David also put on his sword. About four hundred men followed David, and two hundred stayed by the baggage.
大衛向跟隨他的人說:「你們各人都要帶上刀!」眾人就都帶上刀,大衛也帶上刀。跟隨大衛上去的約有四百人,留下二百人看守器具。
25:14
ወይቤሎሙ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለሰብኡ፡ ቅንቱ፡ አስይፍቲክሙ፡ ኵልክሙ፡ ወዳዊትኒ፡ ቀነተ፡ ሰይፎ፡ ወዐርጉ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ፬፻ብእሲ፡ ወ፪፻ብእሲ፡ ነበሩ፡ ኀበ፡ ንዋዮሙ።
But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, saying, “Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to greet our master; and he insulted them.
有拿八的一個僕人告訴拿八的妻亞比該說:「大衛從曠野打發使者來問我主人的安,主人卻辱罵他們。
25:15
ወዜነዋ፡ ለእቤግያ፡ ብእሲቱ፡ ለናባል፡ አሐዱ፡ እምውስተ፡ ደቁ፡ ወይቤላ፡ ለአከ፡ ዳዊት፡ ደቆ፡ እምነ፡ ሐቅል፡ ያእኵትዎ፡ ለእግዚእነ፡ ወኢተመይጦሙ።
But the men were very good to us, and we were not harmed, and we didn’t miss anything as long as we went with them, when we were in the fields.
但是那些人待我們甚好;我們在田野與他們來往的時候,沒有受他們的欺負,也未曾失落甚麼。
25:16
ወእሙንቱሰ፡ ሰብእ፡ ኄራን፡ ጥቀ፡ ኮኑ፡ ላዕሌነ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘከልኡነ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘእዘዙነሂ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕል፡ ዘነበርነ፡ ምስሌሆሙ።
They were a wall to us both by night and by day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep.
我們在他們那裏牧羊的時候,他們晝夜作我們的保障。
25:17
ወእመሂ፡ ሀለውነ፡ ሐቅለ፡ ከመ፡ አረፍት፡ ኮኑነ፡ መዓልተ፡ ወሌሊተ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕል፡ ዘነበርነ፡ ምስሌሆሙ፡ ወንርዒ፡ መራዕዪነ።
Now therefore know and consider what you will do; for evil is determined against our master and against all his house, for he is such a worthless fellow that one can’t speak to him.”
所以你當籌劃,看怎樣行才好;不然,禍患定要臨到我主人和他全家。他性情凶暴,無人敢與他說話。」
25:18
ወይእዜኒ፡ አእምሪ፡ ወርእዪ፡ ዘከመ፡ ትገብሪ፡ እስመ፡ በጽሐት፡ እኪት፡ ላዕለ፡ እግዚእነ፡ ወላዕለ፡ ቤቱ፡ ወውእቱሰ፡ እኩይ፡ እምነ፡ ፍጥረቱ፡ ወኢይከውን፡ እምነጊሮቱ።
Then Abigail hurried and took two hundred loaves of bread, two containers of wine, five sheep ready dressed, five seahs of parched grain, one hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on donkeys.
亞比該急忙將二百餅,兩皮袋酒,五隻收拾好了的羊,五細亞烘好了的穗子,一百葡萄餅,二百無花果餅,都馱在驢上,
25:19
ወአፍጠነት፡ አቤግያ፡ ወነሥአት፡ ምስሌሃ፡ ፪፻ኅብስተ፡ ወክልኤተ፡ እጽሕብተ፡ ወይን፡ ወ፭እጣሌ፡ ወኀምስተ፡ እባግዐ፡ ግቡረ፡ ወኀምስተ፡ መስፈርት፡ ዘኤፍ፡ ጥሕነ፡ ወአሐደ፡ ሙዳየ፡ ዘቢብ፡ ወ፪፻እጊለ፡ በለስ፡ ወጸዐነት፡ ላዕለ፡ አእዱግ።
She said to her young men, “Go on before me. Behold, I am coming after you.” But she didn’t tell her husband, Nabal.
對僕人說:「你們前頭走,我隨着你們去。」這事她卻沒有告訴丈夫拿八。
25:20
ወትቤሎሙ፡ ለአግብርቲሃ፡ ሖሩ፡ ቅድሜየ፡ ቅድሙኒ፡ ወናሁ፡ አነኒ፡ እተልወክሙ፡ እመጽእ፡ ወኢያይድዐቶ፡ ለምታ።
As she rode on her donkey, and came down hidden by the mountain, behold, David and his men came down toward her, and she met them.
亞比該騎着驢,正下山坡,見大衛和跟隨他的人從對面下來,亞比該就迎接他們。
25:21
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ተጽዕነት፡ ይእቲ፡ ዲበ፡ እድግ፡ ወሪዳ፡ ሙራደ፡ ደብር፡ ወናሁ፡ ዳዊት፡ ምስለ፡ ሰብኡ፡ ተቀበልዋ፡ ወተራከብዋ።
Now David had said, “Surely in vain I have kept all that this fellow has in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained to him. He has returned me evil for good.
大衛曾說:「我在曠野為那人看守所有的,以致他一樣不失落,實在是徒然了!他向我以惡報善。
25:22
ወይቤላ፡ ዳዊት፡ ታድኅንዮኑ፡ ለዐማፃ ፤ በቀብኩ፡ ሎቱ፡ ለናባል፡ ኵሎ፡ ንዋዮ፡ በሐቅል፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘእዘዝነ፡ ይንሥኡ፡ እምኵሉ፡ ንዋዩ፡ ወኢምንተኒ፡ ወፈደየኒ፡ እኪተ፡ ህየንተ፡ ሠናይት።
God do so to the enemies of David, and more also, if I leave of all that belongs to him by the morning light so much as one who urinates on a wall.”
凡屬拿八的男丁,我若留一個到明日早晨,願上帝重重降罰與我!」
25:23
ከመዝ፡ ለይረስዮ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወከመዝ፡ ለይቅትሎ፡ ለእመቦ፡ ዘአትረፍኩ፡ እምነ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘናባል፡ እስከ፡ ይጸብሕ፡ ወኢዘያስተአዝብ፡ በኀበ፡ አረፍት።
When Abigail saw David, she hurried and got off her donkey, and fell before David on her face and bowed herself to the ground.
亞比該見大衛,便急忙下驢,在大衛面前臉伏於地叩拜,
25:24
ወአፍጠነት፡ አቤግያ፡ ወወረደት፡ እምላዕለ፡ እድግ፡ ሶበ፡ ርእየቶ፡ ለዳዊት፡ ወወድቀት፡ በገጻ፡ ወሰገደት፡ ሎቱ፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ ኀበ፡ እገሪሁ።
She fell at his feet and said, “On me, my lord, on me be the blame! Please let your servant speak in your ears. Hear the words of your servant.
俯伏在大衛的腳前,說:「我主啊,願這罪歸我!求你容婢女向你進言,更求你聽婢女的話。
25:25
ወትቤሎ፡ ላዕሌየ፡ ለትኩን፡ እግዚኦ፡ ኀጢኦት፡ ወአብሓ፡ ለአመትከ፡ ወትንግርከ፡ ወስምን፡ ቃላ፡ ለአመትከ።ወኢይትሉ፡ ልበ፡ እግዚእየ፡ መንገለ፡ ዝከቱ፡ ብእሲ፡ እኩይ፡ እስመ፡ በከመ፡ ስሙ፡ ከማሁ፡ እበዲሁ፡ እንተ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፤ ሎቱ፡ ናባል፡ ስሙ፡ ወእበዲሁኒ፡ ሀሎ፡ ምስሌሁ ፤ ወአንሰ፡ አመትከ፡ ኢርኢክዎሙ፡ ለደቅከ፡ እለ፡ ፈነውከ።
Please don’t let my lord pay attention to this worthless fellow, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and folly is with him; but I, your servant, didn’t see my lord’s young men whom you sent.
我主不要理這壞人拿八,他的性情與他的名相稱;他名叫拿八 ,他為人果然愚頑。但我主所打發的僕人,婢女並沒有看見。
25:26
ወይእዜኒ፡ እግዚኦ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሕያውት፡ ነፍስከ፡ በከመ፡ ከልአከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኢትባእ፡ ላዕለ፡ ደም፡ አላ፡ ከመ፡ ታድኅን፡ እዴከ፡ ዘዚእከ ፤ ወይእዜኒ፡ ከመ፡ ናባል፡ ለይኩኑ፡ ጸላእትከ፡ ወእለ፡ የኀሥሡ፡ ላዕለ፡ እግዚእየ፡ እኪተ።
Now therefore, my lord, as Yahweh lives and as your soul lives, since Yahweh has withheld you from blood guiltiness and from avenging yourself with your own hand, now therefore let your enemies and those who seek evil to my lord be as Nabal.
我主啊,耶和華既然阻止你親手報仇,取流血的罪,所以我指着永生的耶和華、又敢在你面前起誓說:『願你的仇敵和謀害你的人都像拿八一樣。』
25:27
ወይእዜኒ፡ ተመጠዋ፡ አምኃሃ፡ ለአመትከ፡ ዘእምጻእኩ፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ወሀቦሙ፡ ለሰብእ፡ እለ፡ ይቀውሙ፡ ኀበ፡ እግዚእየ።
Now this present which your servant has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my lord.
如今求你將婢女送來的禮物給跟隨你的僕人。
25:28
ወስረይ፡ ላቲ፡ ኣበሳሃ፡ ለአመትከ፡ እስመ፡ ገቢረ፡ ይገብር፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ቤተ፡ ምእመነ፡ ወፀብኦ፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ይፀብእ፡ ሎቱ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእከ፡ ትሰ፡ ኢትከውን፡ እምኀቤከ፡ ለዝላፉ።
Please forgive the trespass of your servant. For Yahweh will certainly make my lord a sure house, because my lord fights Yahweh’s battles. Evil will not be found in you all your days.
求你饒恕婢女的罪過。耶和華必為我主建立堅固的家,因我主為耶和華爭戰;並且在你平生的日子查不出有甚麼過來。
25:29
ወለእመቦ፡ ዘተንሥኦ፡ ሰብእ፡ ዘይዴግነከ፡ ወየኀሥሣ፡ ለነፍስከ፡ ወነፍስከሰ፡ እስርት፡ ይእቲ፡ በማእሰረ፡ ሕይወት፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወነፍሰ፡ ጸላእትከስ፡ ተወጽፉ፡ በማእከለ፡ ሞጸፍ።
Though men may rise up to pursue you and to seek your soul, yet the soul of my lord will be bound in the bundle of life with Yahweh your God. He will sling out the souls of your enemies as from a sling’s pocket.
雖有人起來追逼你,尋索你的性命,你的性命卻在耶和華-你的上帝那裏蒙保護,如包裹寶器一樣;你仇敵的性命,耶和華必拋去,如用機弦甩石一樣。
25:30
ወይከውን፡ ወይገብር፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘነበበ፡ ላዕሌከ፡ ሠናይተ፡ ወይሠይመከ፡ መኵንነ፡ ላዕለ፡ እስራኤል።
It will come to pass, when Yahweh has done to my lord according to all the good that he has spoken concerning you, and has appointed you prince over Israel,
我主現在若不親手報仇流無辜人的血,到了耶和華照所應許你的話賜福與你,立你作以色列的王,那時我主必不致心裏不安,覺得良心有虧。耶和華賜福與我主的時候,求你記念婢女。」
25:31
ወሐስ፡ ሎቱ፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ እምነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ርኩስ፡ ወጊጉየ፡ ልብ፡ ወእምነ፡ ክዒወ፡ ደም፡ ንጹሕ፡ በከንቱ፡ ወትድኅን፡ እዴሁ፡ ለእግዚእየ፡ ወተዘከራ፡ ለአመትከ፡ ከመ፡ ታሠኒ፡ ላዕሌሃ።
that this shall be no grief to you, nor offense of heart to my lord, either that you have shed blood without cause, or that my lord has avenged himself. When Yahweh has dealt well with my lord, then remember your servant.”
我主現在若不親手報仇流無辜人的血,到了耶和華照所應許你的話賜福與你,立你作以色列的王,那時我主必不致心裏不安,覺得良心有虧。耶和華賜福與我主的時候,求你記念婢女。」
25:32
ወይቤላ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለአቤግያ፡ ይትባረከ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዘፈነወኪ፡ ዮም፡ ቅድሜየ።
David said to Abigail, “Blessed is Yahweh, the God of Israel, who sent you today to meet me!
大衛對亞比該說:「耶和華-以色列的上帝是應當稱頌的,因為他今日使你來迎接我。
25:33
ወብሩከ፡ ግዕዝኪ፡ ወቡርክት፡ እንቲ፡ እንተ፡ ከላእክኒ፡ ዮም፡ በዛቲ፡ ዕለት፡ ከመ፡ ኢይባእ፡ ላዕለ፡ ደም፡ ወኣድኅን፡ ሊተ፡ እዴየ።
Blessed is your discretion, and blessed are you, who have kept me today from blood guiltiness, and from avenging myself with my own hand.
你和你的見識也當稱讚;因為你今日攔阻我親手報仇、流人的血。
25:34
ወባሕቱ፡ ሕያው፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ዘከልአኒ፡ ዮም፡ ከመ፡ ኢያሕሥም፡ ላዕሌኪ፡ ከመ፡ ሶበ፡ ኢያፍጠንኪ፡ ወኢመጻእኪ፡ ወኢተቀበልከኒ፡ እቤ፡ ወዳእኩ፡ ከመ፡ ኢያትርፍ፡ ለናባል፡ እስከ፡ ጎሐ፡ ጽባሕ፡ ወኢዘያስተእዝብ፡ በኀበ፡ እረፍት።
For indeed, as Yahweh the God of Israel lives, who has withheld me from harming you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, surely there wouldn’t have been left to Nabal by the morning light so much as one who urinates on a wall.”
我指着阻止我加害於你的耶和華-以色列永生的上帝起誓,你若不速速地來迎接我,到明日早晨,凡屬拿八的男丁必定不留一個。」
25:35
ወነሥኣ፡ ዳዊት፡ እምእዴሃ፡ ኵሎ፡ ዘአምጽአት፡ ሎቱ፡ ወይቤላ፡ ሑሪ፡ በሰላም፡ ዕርጊ፡ ቤትኪ፡ ወናሁ፡ ርእዪ፡ ከመ፡ ሰማዕኩ፡ ቃለኪ፡ ወአድለውኩ፡ ለገጽኪ።
So David received from her hand that which she had brought him. Then he said to her, “Go up in peace to your house. Behold, I have listened to your voice and have granted your request.”
大衛受了亞比該送來的禮物,就對她說:「我聽了你的話,准了你的情面,你可以平平安安地回家吧!」
25:36
ወበጽሐት፡ አቤግያ፡ ኀበ፡ ናባል፡ ወረከበት፡ በዓለ፡ ይገብሩ፡ በውስተ፡ ቤቱ፡ ከመ፡ በዓለ፡ መንግሥት፡ ወተፈሥሐ፡ ልቡ፡ ለናባል፡ ወስክረ፡ ጥቀ፡ ወኢነገረቶ፡ ወኢአሐተ፡ ቃለ፡ ኢንኡሰ፡ ወኢዐቢየ፡ እስከ፡ ጸብሐ፡ ብሔር።
Abigail came to Nabal; and behold, he held a feast in his house like the feast of a king. Nabal’s heart was merry within him, for he was very drunk. Therefore she told him nothing until the morning light.
亞比該到拿八那裏,見他在家裏設擺筵席,如同王的筵席;拿八快樂大醉。亞比該無論大小事都沒有告訴他,就等到次日早晨。
25:37
ወሶበ፡ ጸብሐ፡ ወኀደጎ፡ ስክረ፡ ወይኑ፡ ለናባል፡ አይድዐቶ፡ ብእሲቱ፡ ዘንተ፡ ነገረ፡ ወሞቶ፡ ልቡ፡ በላዕሌሁ፡ ወውእቱ፡ የብሰ፡ ከመ፡ እብን።
In the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, his wife told him these things; and his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.
到了早晨,拿八醒了酒,他的妻將這些事都告訴他,他就魂不附體,身僵如石頭一般。
25:38
ወእምዝ፡ ሶበ፡ ኮነ፡ ዐሡረ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ቀሠፎ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለናባል፡ ወሞተ።
About ten days later, Yahweh struck Nabal, so that he died.
過了十天,耶和華擊打拿八,他就死了。
25:39
ወሰምዐ፡ ዳዊት፡ ከመ፡ ሞተ፡ ናባል፡ ወይቤ፡ ይትባረክ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘፈትሐ፡ ሊተ፡ ወኰነነኒ፡ ትዕይንትየ፡ እምእዴሁ፡ ለናባል፡ ወአድኀኖ፡ ለገብሩ፡ እምእዴሆሙ፡ ለእኩያን፡ ወአግብኣ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ለእኪት፡ ላዕለ፡ ርእሱ ፤ ወለአከ፡ ዳዊት፡ ይትና፡ ገርዋ፡ ለአቤግያ፡ ሎቱ፡ ከመ፡ ያውስባ።
When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, “Blessed is Yahweh, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept back his servant from evil. Yahweh has returned the evildoing of Nabal on his own head.” David sent and spoke concerning Abigail, to take her to himself as wife.
大衛聽見拿八死了,就說:「應當稱頌耶和華,因他伸了拿八羞辱我的冤,又阻止僕人行惡;也使拿八的惡歸到拿八的頭上。」於是大衛打發人去,與亞比該說,要娶她為妻。
25:40
ወመጽኡ፡ ደቀ፡ ዳዊት፡ ኀበ፡ አቤግያ፡ ውስተ፡ ቀርሜሎስ፡ ወተናገርዋ፡ ወይቤልዋ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለአከነ፡ ኀቤኪ፡ ከመ፡ ይንሣእኪ፡ ሎቱ፡ ትኩንዮ፡ ብእሲቶ፡ ያውስብኪ።
When David’s servants had come to Abigail to Carmel, they spoke to her, saying, “David has sent us to you, to take you to him as wife.”
大衛的僕人到了迦密見亞比該,對她說:「大衛打發我們來見你,想要娶你為妻。」
25:41
ወተንሥአት፡ ወሰገደት፡ ውስተ፡ ምድር፡ በገጻ፡ ወትቤ፡ ናሁ፡ አመትከ፡ ወቍልዒትከ፡ ከመ፡ ትሕፅብ፡ መከየደ፡ እገሪከ።
She arose and bowed herself with her face to the earth, and said, “Behold, your servant is a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.”
亞比該就起來,俯伏在地,說:「我情願作婢女,洗我主僕人的腳。」
25:42
ወተንሥአት፡ አቤግያ፡ ወተጽዕነት፡ እድገ፡ ወተለዋሃ፡ ኀምስ፡ እዋልድ፡ ወሖረት፡ ወተለወቶሙ፡ ለደቀ፡ ዳዊት፡ ወአውሰባ፡ ወኮነቶ፡ ብእሲቶ።
Abigail hurriedly arose and rode on a donkey with her five maids who followed her; and she went after the messengers of David, and became his wife.
亞比該立刻起身,騎上驢,帶着五個使女,跟從大衛的使者去了,就作了大衛的妻。
25:43
ወነሥአ፡ ለአኪናሖም፡ እምውስተ፡ [ኢይዝ]ራኤል፡ ወክልኤሆን፡ ኮና፡ አንስቲያሁ።
David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they both became his wives.
大衛先娶了耶斯列人亞希暖,她們二人都作了他的妻。
25:44
ወሳኦልሰ፡ ወሀባ፡ ለሜልኮል፡ ወለቱ፡ ብእሲተ፡ ዳዊት፡ ለፈልጢ፡ ወልደ፡ ያሜስ፡ ዘእምነ፡ ሮሜ።
Now Saul had given Michal his daughter, David’s wife, to Palti the son of Laish, who was of Gallim.
掃羅已將他的女兒米甲,就是大衛的妻,給了迦琳人拉億的兒子帕提為妻。
