15:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ φοβούμενος κύριον ποιήσει αὐτό καὶ ὁ ἐγκρατὴς τοῦ νόμου καταλήμψεται αὐτήν
Qui timet Deum faciet bona , et qui continens est justitiæ apprehendet illam :
ፈራሄ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይገብር ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ወዘየዐቅብ ፡ ሕጎ ፡ ይረክባ ።
He that fears the Lord will do this; And he that has possession of the law will obtain her.
15:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ὑπαντήσεται αὐτῷ ὡς μήτηρ καὶ ὡς γυνὴ παρθενίας προσδέξεται αὐτόν
et obviabit illi quasi mater honorificata , et quasi mulier a virginitate suscipiet illum .
ወትጸንሖ ፡ ከመ ፡ እሙ ፡ ወተሐቅፎ ፡ ከመ ፡ ብእሲት ፡ ድንግል ።
And as a mother shall she meet him, And receive him as a wife married in her virginity.
15:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ ψωμιεῖ αὐτὸν ἄρτον συνέσεως καὶ ὕδωρ σοφίας ποτίσει αὐτόν
Cibabit illum pane vitæ et intellectus , et aqua sapientiæ salutaris potabit illum : et firmabitur in illo , et non flectetur :
ወትሴስዮ ፡ እክለ ፡ ጥበብ ፡ ወታሰትዮ ፡ ማየ ፡ አእምሮ ።
With bread of understanding will she feed him, And give him water of wisdom to drink.
15:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ στηριχθήσεται ἐπ’ αὐτὴν καὶ οὐ μὴ κλιθῇ καὶ ἐπ’ αὐτῆς ἐφέξει καὶ οὐ μὴ καταισχυνθῇ
et continebit illum , et non confundetur : et exaltabit illum apud proximos suos ,
ወይትመረጐዝ ፡ ባቲ ፡ ወኢይተነትን ፡ ወይትአመን ፡ ባቲ ፡ ወኢይትኀፈር ።
He will be stayed upon her, and will not be moved; And will rely upon her, and will not be confounded.
15:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ὑψώσει αὐτὸν παρὰ τοὺς πλησίον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν μέσῳ ἐκκλησίας ἀνοίξει τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ
et in medio ecclesiæ aperiet os ejus , et adimplebit illum spiritu sapientiæ et intellectus , et stola gloriæ vestiet illum .
ወታዐቢዮ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቢጹ ፡ ወበማእከለ ፡ ብዙኃን ፡ ይከሥት ፡ አፉሁ ።
And she will exalt him above his neighbors; And in the midst of the congregation will she open his mouth.
15:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ εὐφροσύνην καὶ στέφανον ἀγαλλιάματος εὑρήσει καὶ ὄνομα αἰῶνος κατακληρονομήσει
Jucunditatem et exsultationem thesaurizabit super illum , et nomine æterno hæreditabit illum .
ወትሁቦ ፡ አክሊለ ፡ (ጥበብ ፡ወ )ትፍሥሕት ፡ ወሐሤት ፡ ወይወርስ ፡ ስመ ፡ ዘለዓለም ።
He will inherit joy, and a crown of gladness, And an everlasting name.
15:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐ μὴ καταλήμψονται αὐτὴν ἄνθρωποι ἀσύνετοι καὶ ἄνδρες ἁμαρτωλοὶ οὐ μὴ ἴδωσιν αὐτήν
Homines stulti non apprehendent illam , et homines sensati obviabunt illi . Homines stulti non videbunt eam : longe enim abest a superbia et dolo .
ወአብዳንሰ ፡ ኢይረክብዋ ፡ ወኃጥኣንሰ ፡ ኢይሬእይዋ ።
Foolish men will not obtain her; And sinners will not see her.
15:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ μακράν ἐστιν ὑπερηφανίας καὶ ἄνδρες ψεῦσται οὐ μὴ μνησθήσονται αὐτῆς
Viri mendaces non erunt illius memores : et viri veraces invenientur in illa , et successum habebunt usque ad inspectionem Dei .
ርሕቅት ፡ እምነ ፡ ዕቡያን ፡ ወሐሳውያንኒ ፡ ኢይዜከርዋ ።
She is far from pride; And liars will not remember her.
15:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐχ ὡραῖος αἶνος ἐν στόματι ἁμαρτωλοῦ ὅτι οὐ παρὰ κυρίου ἀπεστάλη
Non est speciosa laus in ore peccatoris ,
ኢኮነ ፡ አዳመ ፡ ቃለ ፡ አፉሁ ፡ ለኃጥእ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ በፍርሃተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘይነብብ ።
Praise is not comely in the mouth of a sinner; For it was not sent him from the Lord.
15:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐν γὰρ σοφίᾳ ῥηθήσεται αἶνος καὶ ὁ κύριος εὐοδώσει αὐτόν
quoniam a Deo profecta est sapientia . Sapientiæ enim Dei astabit laus , et in ore fideli abundabit , et Dominator dabit eam illi .
በጥበብ ፡ ይነግርዋ ፡ ለአምሳል ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ይረድኦ ፡ ለዘ ፡ ይትሜሀር ።
For praise will be spoken in wisdom; And the Lord will prosper it.
15:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ μὴ εἴπῃς ὅτι διὰ κύριον ἀπέστην ἃ γὰρ ἐμίσησεν οὐ ποιήσει
Non dixeris : Per Deum abest : quæ enim odit ne feceris .
ኢትበል ፡ በእንተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ተሐረምኩ ፡ ወዘውእቱ ፡ ጸልአ ፡ ኢትግበር ።
Say not you, It is through the Lord that I fell away; For you shall not do the things that he hates.
15:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ μὴ εἴπῃς ὅτι αὐτός με ἐπλάνησεν οὐ γὰρ χρείαν ἔχει ἀνδρὸς ἁμαρτωλοῦ
Non dicas : Ille me implanavit : non enim necessarii sunt ei homines impii .
ወኢትበል ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አስሐተኒ ፡ ውእቱሰ ፡ ኢይፈቅድ ፡ ብእሴ ፡ ኃጥእ ።
Say not you, It is he that caused me to err; For he has no need of a sinful man.
15:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ πᾶν βδέλυγμα ἐμίσησεν ὁ κύριος καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀγαπητὸν τοῖς φοβουμένοις αὐτόν
Omne execramentum erroris odit Dominus , et non erit amabile timentibus eum .
እስመ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ርኩስ ፡ ጸልአ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፤….።
The Lord hates every abomination; And those who fear him love it not.
15:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ αὐτὸς ἐξ ἀρχῆς ἐποίησεν ἄνθρωπον καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτὸν ἐν χειρὶ διαβουλίου αὐτοῦ
Deus ab initio constituit hominem , et reliquit illum in manu consilii sui :
ውእቱ ፡ ገብሮ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ቀዳሚሁ ፡ ወኀደጎ ፡ በግዕዙ ፡ በዘፈቀደ ።
He himself made man from the beginning, And left him in the hand of his own counsel.
15:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐὰν θέλῃς συντηρήσεις ἐντολὰς καὶ πίστιν ποιῆσαι εὐδοκίας
adjecit mandata et præcepta sua .
ወለእመሰ ፡ ትፈቅድ ፡ ትዕቀብ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ወትግበር ፡ ሃይማኖተ ፡ ፈቃዱ ።
If you will, you shall keep the commandments; And to perform faithfulness is of your own good pleasure.
15:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ παρέθηκέν σοι πῦρ καὶ ὕδωρ οὗ ἐὰν θέλῃς ἐκτενεῖς τὴν χεῖρά σου
Si volueris mandata servare , conservabunt te , et in perpetuum fidem placitam facere .
ናሁ ፡ አንበረ ፡ ለከ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ወማየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትደይ ፡ እዴከ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኀረይከ ።
He has set fire and water before you: You will stretch forth your hand to whichever you will.
15:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἔναντι ἀνθρώπων ἡ ζωὴ καὶ ὁ θάνατος καὶ ὃ ἐὰν εὐδοκήσῃ δοθήσεται αὐτῷ
Apposuit tibi aquam et ignem , ad quod volueris porrige manum tuam .
ሕይወትኒ ፡ ወሞትኒ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ወዘኀረየ ፡ እምውስቴቱ ፡ ይሁብዎ ።
Before man is life and death; And whichever he likes, it shall be given him.
15:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὅτι πολλὴ ἡ σοφία τοῦ κυρίου ἰσχυρὸς ἐν δυναστείᾳ καὶ βλέπων τὰ πάντα
Ante hominem vita et mors , bonum et malum : quod placuerit ei dabitur illi :
እስመ ፡ ብዙኅ ፡ ጥበበሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ጽኑዕ ፡ ኀይሉ ፡ ወያአምር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ወይሬኢ ።
For great is the wisdom of the Lord: He is mighty in power, and sees all things;
15:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τοὺς φοβουμένους αὐτόν καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπιγνώσεται πᾶν ἔργον ἀνθρώπου
quoniam multa sapientia Dei , et fortis in potentia , videns omnes sine intermissione .
ወአዕይንቲሁኒ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እለ ፡ ይፈርህዎ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ያአምር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ግብሮ ፡ ለእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
And his eyes are upon those who fear him; And he will take knowledge of every work of man.
15:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐκ ἐνετείλατο οὐδενὶ ἀσεβεῖν καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκεν ἄνεσιν οὐδενὶ ἁμαρτάνειν
Oculi Domini ad timentes eum , et ipse agnoscit omnem operam hominis .
ወውእቱሰ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ለዘ ፡ አዘዘ ፡ ይግበሩ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ ወኢያብሐ ፡ ወኢለመኑሂ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያአብሱ ።
He has not commanded any man to be ungodly; And he has not given any man licence to sin.
