4:1
Ecce enim dies veniet succensa quasi caminus : et erunt omnes superbi et omnes facientes impietatem stipula : et inflammabit eos dies veniens, dicit Dominus exercituum, quae non derelinquet eis radicem et germen.
ወናሁ፡ ይመጽእ፡ መዋዕለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ እንዘ፡ ይነድድ፡ ከመ፡ እሳት፡ ዋያዕዮሙ፡ ወይከውኑ፡ ባዕዳነ፡ አሕዛበ፡ ወኲሎሙ፡ በርተ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ሐሠረ፡ ወተውዕዮሙ፡ ዕለተ፡ እንተ፡ ትመጽእ፡ ይበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኲሎ፡ ይመልክ፡ ወኢይተርፍ፡ ሥርዎሙ፡ ወኢዓጽቆሙ።
“For behold, the day comes, burning like a furnace, when all the proud and all who work wickedness will be stubble. The day that comes will burn them up,” says Yahweh of Armies, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
4:2
Et orietur vobis timentibus nomen meum sol justitiae, et sanitas in pennis ejus : et egrediemini, et salietis sicut vituli de armento.
ወይሠርቅ፡ ለክሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ትፈርሁ፡ ስምየ፡ ፀሐየ፡ ጽድቅ፡ ወሕይመት፡ ውስተ፡ ክነፊሁ፡ ወትወፅኡ፡ ወታንፈርዕጹ፡ ከመ፡ ጣዕዋ፡ ዘተፈትሐ፡ እማእሰሩ።
But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
4:3
Et calcabitis impios, cum fuerint cinis sub planta pedum vestrorum, in die qua ego facio, dicit Dominus exercituum.
ወትከይድዎሙ፡ ለኃጥኣን፡ ወይከወኑ፡ ሐመድ፡ በታሕተ፡ እገሪክሙ፡ በዕለት፡ እንተ፡ እገብር፡ አነ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘኲሎ፡ ይመልክ።
You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make,” says Yahweh of Armies.
4:4
Mementote legis Moysi servi mei, quam mandavi ei in Horeb ad omnem Israël, praecepta et judicia.

“Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
4:5
Ecce ego mittam vobis Eliam prophetam, antequam veniat dies Domini magnus et horribilis.
ናሁ፡ አነ፡ እፌኑ፡ ለክ፡ ኤልሃስሃ፡ ተዝብያዌ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ትብጻሕ፡ ዕለተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዓባ፡ እንተ፡ ታስተርኢ።
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes.
4:6
Et convertet cor patrum ad filios, et cor filiorum ad patres eorum : ne forte veniam, et percutiam terram anathemate.
ወይመይጥ፡ ልበ፡ አብ፡ ኀበ፡ ውሉድ፡ ወልበ፡ ብእሲ፡ ኀበ፡ ቢጹ፡ አመ፡ መጻኩን፡ ወቀሠፍክዋ፡ ለምድር።
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
4:7—
ተዘከሩ፡ ህገ፡ ሙሴ፡ ገብርየ፡ ዘአዘዝክዎ፡ በኮሬብ፡ ስርዓተ፡ ወኲነኔ፡ ለኲሉ፡ እስራኤል።
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
