34:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factum est verbum Domini ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
34:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵ֖א עַל ־רוֹעֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הִנָּבֵ֣א וְאָמַרְתָּ֩ אֲלֵיהֶ֨ם לָרֹעִ֜ים כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה ה֤וֹי רֹעֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הָיוּ֙ רֹעִ֣ים אוֹתָ֔ם הֲל֣וֹא הַצֹּ֔אן יִרְע֖וּ הָרֹעִֽים ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας τοῦ Ισραηλ προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ποιμέσι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ὦ ποιμένες Ισραηλ μὴ βόσκουσιν ποιμένες ἑαυτούς οὐ τὰ πρόβατα βόσκουσιν οἱ ποιμένες
Fili hominis , propheta de pastoribus Israël : propheta , et dices pastoribus : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Vae pastoribus Israël , qui pascebant semetipsos ! nonne greges a pastoribus pascuntur ?
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ተነበይ ፡ ለኖሎተ ፡ እስራኤል ፣፡ ተነበይ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ለኖሎት ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አሌ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ለኖሎተ ፡ እስእራኤል ፡ ርእሶሙኑ ፡ ይርዕዩ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ አኮኑ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ይርዕዩ ።
“Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and tell them, even the shepherds, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?
34:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֶת ־הַחֵ֤לֶב תֹּאכֵ֙לוּ֙ וְאֶת ־הַצֶּ֣מֶר תִּלְבָּ֔שׁוּ הַבְּרִיאָ֖ה תִּזְבָּ֑חוּ הַצֹּ֖אן לֹ֥א תִרְעֽוּ ׃
ἰδοὺ τὸ γάλα κατέσθετε καὶ τὰ ἔρια περιβάλλεσθε καὶ τὸ παχὺ σφάζετε καὶ τὰ πρόβατά μου οὐ βόσκετε
Lac comedebatis , et lanis operiebamini , et quod crassum erat occidebatis : gregem autem meum non pascebatis .
ሐሊቦሂ ፡ ትሰትዩ ፡ ወፀምሮሂ ፡ ትለብሱ ፡ ወዘሰብሐሂ ፡ ትጠብሑ ፡ ወአባግዕየ ፡ ኢትርዕዩ ።
You eat the fat. You clothe yourself with the wool. You kill the fatlings, but you don’t feed the sheep.
34:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֶֽת ־הַנַּחְלוֹת֩ לֹ֨א חִזַּקְתֶּ֜ם וְאֶת ־הַחוֹלָ֣ה לֹֽא ־רִפֵּאתֶ֗ם וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּ֙רֶת֙ לֹ֣א חֲבַשְׁתֶּ֔ם וְאֶת ־הַנִּדַּ֙חַת֙ לֹ֣א הֲשֵׁבֹתֶ֔ם וְאֶת ־הָאֹבֶ֖דֶת לֹ֣א בִקַּשְׁתֶּ֑ם וּבְחׇזְקָ֛ה רְדִיתֶ֥ם אֹתָ֖ם וּבְפָֽרֶךְ ׃
τὸ ἠσθενηκὸς οὐκ ἐνισχύσατε καὶ τὸ κακῶς ἔχον οὐκ ἐσωματοποιήσατε καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον οὐ κατεδήσατε καὶ τὸ πλανώμενον οὐκ ἐπεστρέψατε καὶ τὸ ἀπολωλὸς οὐκ ἐζητήσατε καὶ τὸ ἰσχυρὸν κατειργάσασθε μόχθῳ
Quod infirmum fuit non consolidastis , et quod aegrotum non sanastis : quod confractum est non alligastis , et quod abjectum est non reduxistis , et quod perierat non quaesistis : sed cum austeritate imperabatis eis , et cum potentia .
ዘደክመ ፡ ኢትጼንዑ ፡ ወዘቈስለ ፡ ኢትፌውሱ ፡ ወዘተሰብረ ፡ ኢተአሥሩ ፡ ወዘተኀጥአ ፡ ኢትረድኡ ፡ ወዘተገድፈ ፡ ኢተኀሥሡ ፡ ወዘጸንዐ ፡ ትቀንዩ ፡ ወታሰርሑ ።
You haven’t strengthened the diseased. You haven’t healed that which was sick. You haven’t bound up that which was broken. You haven’t brought back that which was driven away. You haven’t sought that which was lost, but you have ruled over them with force and with rigor.
34:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתְּפוּצֶ֖ינָה מִבְּלִ֣י רֹעֶ֑ה וַתִּהְיֶ֧ינָה לְאׇכְלָ֛ה לְכׇל ־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וַתְּפוּצֶֽינָה ׃
καὶ διεσπάρη τὰ πρόβατά μου διὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ποιμένας καὶ ἐγενήθη εἰς κατάβρωμα πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τοῦ ἀγροῦ
Et dispersae sunt oves meae , eo quod non esset pastor : et factae sunt in devorationem omnium bestiarum agri , et dispersae sunt .
ወተዘርዉ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ በኀጢአ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ወኮና ፡ መብልዐ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ገዳም ።
They were scattered, because there was no shepherd. They became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.
34:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִשְׁגּ֤וּ צֹאנִי֙ בְּכׇל ־הֶ֣הָרִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־גִּבְעָ֣ה רָמָ֑ה וְעַ֨ל כׇּל ־פְּנֵ֤י הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נָפֹ֣צוּ צֹאנִ֔י וְאֵ֥ין דּוֹרֵ֖שׁ וְאֵ֥ין מְבַקֵּֽשׁ ׃
καὶ διεσπάρη μου τὰ πρόβατα ἐν παντὶ ὄρει καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν βουνὸν ὑψηλὸν καὶ ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τῆς γῆς διεσπάρη καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἐκζητῶν οὐδὲ ὁ ἀποστρέφων
Erraverunt greges mei in cunctis montibus , et in universo colle excelso : et super omnem faciem terrae dispersi sunt greges mei , et non erat qui requireret : non erat , inquam , qui requireret .
ወተዘርዋ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አውግር ፡ ነዋኃት ፣፡ ወውስተ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ ተዘርዋ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘየኀሥሦን ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘይመይጦን ።
My sheep wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth. There was no one who searched or sought.”
34:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֣ן רֹעִ֔ים שִׁמְע֖וּ אֶת ־דְּבַ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ποιμένες ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου
Propterea , pastores , audite verbum Domini .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:
34:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ חַי ־אָ֜נִי נְאֻ֣ם ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה אִם ־לֹ֣א יַ֣עַן הֱיֽוֹת ־צֹאנִ֣י ׀לָבַ֡ז וַתִּהְיֶ֩ינָה֩ צֹאנִ֨י לְאׇכְלָ֜ה לְכׇל ־חַיַּ֤ת הַשָּׂדֶה֙ מֵאֵ֣ין רֹעֶ֔ה וְלֹא ־דָרְשׁ֥וּ רֹעַ֖י אֶת ־צֹאנִ֑י וַיִּרְע֤וּ הָרֹעִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ם וְאֶת ־צֹאנִ֖י לֹ֥א רָעֽוּ ׃
ζῶ ἐγώ λέγει κύριος κύριος εἰ μὴν ἀντὶ τοῦ γενέσθαι τὰ πρόβατά μου εἰς προνομὴν καὶ γενέσθαι τὰ πρόβατά μου εἰς κατάβρωμα πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τοῦ πεδίου παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ποιμένας καὶ οὐκ ἐξεζήτησαν οἱ ποιμένες τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐβόσκησαν οἱ ποιμένες ἑαυτούς τὰ δὲ πρόβατά μου οὐκ ἐβόσκησαν
Vivo ego , dicit Dominus Deus , quia pro eo quod facti sunt greges mei in rapinam , et oves meae in devorationem omnium bestiarum agri , eo quod non esset pastor : neque enim quaesierunt pastores mei gregem meum , sed pascebant pastores semetipsos , et greges meos non pascebant :
ሕያው ፡ አነ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እስመ ፡ ተማህረካ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ወኮና ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ መብልዐ ፡ ለአራዊተ ፡ ገዳም ፡ በኀጢአ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ወኢየኀሥሡ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ወረዐዩ ፡ ርእሶሙ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ወኢርዕዩ ፡ አባግዕየ ።
“As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh, “surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, and my shepherds didn’t search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep,
34:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵן֙ הָרֹעִ֔ים שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר ־יְהֹוָֽה ׃
ἀντὶ τούτου ποιμένες
propterea , pastores , audite verbum Domini .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word!”
34:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּה ־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֨י אֶֽל ־הָרֹעִ֜ים וְֽדָרַשְׁתִּ֧י אֶת ־צֹאנִ֣י מִיָּדָ֗ם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּים֙ מֵרְע֣וֹת צֹ֔אן וְלֹא ־יִרְע֥וּ ע֛וֹד הָרֹעִ֖ים אוֹתָ֑ם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י צֹאנִי֙ מִפִּיהֶ֔ם וְלֹא ־תִֽהְיֶ֥יןָ לָהֶ֖ם לְאׇכְלָֽה ׃ {ס}
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας καὶ ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀποστρέψω αὐτοὺς τοῦ μὴ ποιμαίνειν τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ οὐ βοσκήσουσιν ἔτι οἱ ποιμένες αὐτά καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι τὰ πρόβατά μου ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτῶν καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται αὐτοῖς ἔτι εἰς κατάβρωμα
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego ipse super pastores : requiram gregem meum de manu eorum , et cessare faciam eos , ut ultra non pascant gregem , nec pascant amplius pastores semetipsos : et liberabo gregem meum de ore eorum , et non erit ultra eis in escam .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ወእትኀሠሥ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ እምእደ ፡ ኖሎት ፡ ወእሥዕሮሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይርዐይዎን ፡ ወኢይርዕይዎን ፡ ኖሎት ፡ እንከ ፡ ወአድኅን ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ እምአፉሆሙ ፡ ወኢይከውና ፡ ሲሳዮሙ ።
The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against the shepherds. I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep. The shepherds won’t feed themselves any more. I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.”
34:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֛י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הִנְנִי ־אָ֕נִי וְדָרַשְׁתִּ֥י אֶת ־צֹאנִ֖י וּבִקַּרְתִּֽים ׃
διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐπισκέψομαι αὐτά
Quia haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego ipse requiram oves meas , et visitabo eas .
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ አኀሥሥ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ወአስተፋቅዶን ።
“‘For the Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.
34:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּבַקָּרַת֩ רֹעֶ֨ה עֶדְר֜וֹ בְּיוֹם ־הֱיוֹת֤וֹ בְתוֹךְ ־צֹאנוֹ֙ נִפְרָשׁ֔וֹת כֵּ֖ן אֲבַקֵּ֣ר אֶת ־צֹאנִ֑י וְהִצַּלְתִּ֣י אֶתְהֶ֗ם מִכׇּל ־הַמְּקוֹמֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָפֹ֣צוּ שָׁ֔ם בְּי֥וֹם עָנָ֖ן וַעֲרָפֶֽל ׃
ὥσπερ ζητεῖ ὁ ποιμὴν τὸ ποίμνιον αὐτοῦ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὅταν ᾖ γνόφος καὶ νεφέλη ἐν μέσῳ προβάτων διακεχωρισμένων οὕτως ἐκζητήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἀπελάσω αὐτὰ ἀπὸ παντὸς τόπου οὗ διεσπάρησαν ἐκεῖ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ νεφέλης καὶ γνόφου
Sicut visitat pastor gregem suum , in die quando fuerit in medio ovium suarum dissipatarum , sic visitabo oves meas , et liberabo eas de omnibus locis in quibus dispersae fuerant in die nubis et caliginis .
ከመ ፡ የኀሥሥ ፡ ኖላዊ ፡ መርዔቶ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ቆባር ፡ ወደመና ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አባግዒሁ ፡ ዘተፈልጠ ፣፡ ከማሁ ፡ አኀሥሥ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ወአስተጋብኦን ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ በሐውርት ፡ ኀበ ፡ ተዘርዋ ፡ ህየ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ ደመና ፡ ወቆባር ።
As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so I will seek out my sheep. I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
34:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוֹצֵאתִ֣ים מִן ־הָעַמִּ֗ים וְקִבַּצְתִּים֙ מִן ־הָ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת וַהֲבִיאוֹתִ֖ים אֶל ־אַדְמָתָ֑ם וּרְעִיתִים֙ אֶל ־הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּאֲפִיקִ֕ים וּבְכֹ֖ל מוֹשְׁבֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ ׃
καὶ ἐξάξω αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τῶν χωρῶν καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν αὐτῶν καὶ βοσκήσω αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ τῆς γῆς
Et educam eas de populis , et congregabo eas de terris , et inducam eas in terram suam , et pascam eas in montibus Israël , in rivis , et in cunctis sedibus terrae .
ወአወፅኦሙ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፡ ወአስተጋብኦሙ ፡ እምበሐውርት ፣፡ ወእወስዶሙ ፡ ብሔሮሙ ፡ ወእርዕዮሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ቈላት ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በሐውርተ ፡ ምድር ።
I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
34:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּמִרְעֶה ־טּוֹב֙ אֶרְעֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וּבְהָרֵ֥י מְרֽוֹם ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִהְיֶ֣ה נְוֵהֶ֑ם שָׁ֤ם תִּרְבַּ֙צְנָה֙ בְּנָ֣וֶה טּ֔וֹב וּמִרְעֶ֥ה שָׁמֵ֛ן תִּרְעֶ֖ינָה אֶל ־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
ἐν νομῇ ἀγαθῇ βοσκήσω αὐτούς καὶ ἐν τῷ ὄρει τῷ ὑψηλῷ Ισραηλ ἔσονται αἱ μάνδραι αὐτῶν ἐκεῖ κοιμηθήσονται καὶ ἐκεῖ ἀναπαύσονται ἐν τρυφῇ ἀγαθῇ καὶ ἐν νομῇ πίονι βοσκηθήσονται ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων Ισραηλ
In pascuis uberrimis pascam eas , et in montibus excelsis Israël erunt pascua earum : ibi requiescent in herbis virentibus , et in pascuis pinguibus pascentur super montes Israël .
ወውስተ ፡ ጺኦት ፡ ሠናይ ፡ እርዕዮሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በዋኅ ። ወይከውኖሙ ፡ ኅዝአቶሙ ፡ ህየ ፡ ወይበይታ ፡ ህየ ፡ ወየዐርፉ ፡ ህየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ትፍሥሕት ፣፡ ወይትረዐዩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጺኦት ፡ ጥሉል ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድባረ ፡ እስራኤል ።
I will feed them with good pasture, and their fold will be on the mountains of the height of Israel. There they will lie down in a good fold. They will feed on rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
34:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲנִ֨י אֶרְעֶ֤ה צֹאנִי֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אַרְבִּיצֵ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃
ἐγὼ βοσκήσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ ἐγὼ ἀναπαύσω αὐτά καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος
Ego pascam oves meas , et ego eas accubare faciam , dicit Dominus Deus .
ለልየ ፡ እርዕዮሙ ፡ ለአባግዕየ ፡ ወአነ ፡ አዐርፎሙ ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ። ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ።
I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down,” says the Lord Yahweh.
34:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֶת ־הָאֹבֶ֤דֶת אֲבַקֵּשׁ֙ וְאֶת ־הַנִּדַּ֣חַת אָשִׁ֔יב וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּ֣רֶת אֶֽחֱבֹ֔שׁ וְאֶת ־הַחוֹלָ֖ה אֲחַזֵּ֑ק וְאֶת ־הַשְּׁמֵנָ֧ה וְאֶת ־הַחֲזָקָ֛ה אַשְׁמִ֖יד אֶרְעֶ֥נָּה בְמִשְׁפָּֽט ׃
τὸ ἀπολωλὸς ζητήσω καὶ τὸ πλανώμενον ἐπιστρέψω καὶ τὸ συντετριμμένον καταδήσω καὶ τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐνισχύσω καὶ τὸ ἰσχυρὸν φυλάξω καὶ βοσκήσω αὐτὰ μετὰ κρίματος
Quod perierat requiram , et quod abjectum erat reducam , et quod confractum fuerat alligabo , et quod infirmum fuerat consolidabo , et quod pingue et forte custodiam : et pascam illas in judicio .
ዘተገድፈ ፡ አኀሥሥ ፡ ወዘተኀጥአ ፡ እረድእ ፡ ወዘቈስለ ፡ እፌውስ ፡ ወዘደክመ ፡ አጸንዕ ፡ ወዘጸንዐሂ ፡ አዐቅብ ፡ ወእርዕዮሙ ፡ በፍትሕ ።
“I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will feed them in justice.”’
34:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתֵּ֣נָה צֹאנִ֔י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה הִנְנִ֤י שֹׁפֵט֙ בֵּֽין ־שֶׂ֣ה לָשֶׂ֔ה לָאֵילִ֖ים וְלָעַתּוּדִֽים ׃
καὶ ὑμεῖς πρόβατα τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ διακρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου καὶ προβάτου κριῶν καὶ τράγων
Vos autem , greges mei , haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego judico inter pecus et pecus , arietum et hircorum .
ወአንትሙ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ አስተዋቅሥ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ በግዕ ፡ ወበግዕ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ በሐኵ ፡ ወደቤላ ።
“As for you, O my flock, the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.
34:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַמְעַ֣ט מִכֶּ֗ם הַמִּרְעֶ֤ה הַטּוֹב֙ תִּרְע֔וּ וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ מִרְעֵיכֶ֔ם תִּרְמְס֖וּ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם וּמִשְׁקַע ־מַ֣יִם תִּשְׁתּ֔וּ וְאֵת֙ הַנּ֣וֹתָרִ֔ים בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּרְפֹּשֽׂוּן ׃
καὶ οὐχ ἱκανὸν ὑμῖν ὅτι τὴν καλὴν νομὴν ἐνέμεσθε καὶ τὰ κατάλοιπα τῆς νομῆς ὑμῶν κατεπατεῖτε τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν καὶ τὸ καθεστηκὸς ὕδωρ ἐπίνετε καὶ τὸ λοιπὸν τοῖς ποσὶν ὑμῶν ἐταράσσετε
Nonne satis vobis erat pascua bona depasci ? insuper et reliquias pascuarum vestrarum conculcastis pedibus vestris : et cum purissimam aquam biberetis , reliquam pedibus vestris turbabatis :
ኢአከለክሙኑ ፡ ዘረዐይክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ጺኦት ፡ ወዘተርፈሂ ፡ ሣዕሮ ፡ ትከይዱ ፡ በእገሪክሙ ፡ ወጽሩየሂ ፡ ማየ ፡ ትሰትዩ ፡ ወዘተርፈሂ ፡ ተሐምግዎ ፡ በእገሪክሙ ።
Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? And to have drunk of the clear waters, but must you foul the residue with your feet?
34:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְצֹאנִ֑י מִרְמַ֤ס רַגְלֵיכֶם֙ תִּרְעֶ֔ינָה וּמִרְפַּ֥שׂ רַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּשְׁתֶּֽינָה ׃ {פ}
καὶ τὰ πρόβατά μου τὰ πατήματα τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἐνέμοντο καὶ τὸ τεταραγμένον ὕδωρ ὑπὸ τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἔπινον
et oves meae his quae conculcata pedibus vestris fuerant , pascebantur : et quae pedes vestri turbaverant , haec bibebant .
ወትርዕዩ ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ዘኬድክሙ ፡ በእገሪክሙ ፡ ወታሰትይዎሙ ፡ ማየ ፡ ዘሐመግሙ ፡ በእገሪክሙ ።
As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.’
34:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִ֖ה אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם הִנְנִי ־אָ֕נִי וְשָֽׁפַטְתִּי֙ בֵּֽין ־שֶׂ֣ה בִרְיָ֔ה וּבֵ֥ין שֶׂ֖ה רָזָֽה ׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ διακρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου ἰσχυροῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον προβάτου ἀσθενοῦς
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus ad vos : Ecce ego ipse judico inter pecus pingue et macilentum :
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ አስተዋቅሥ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ በግዕ ፡ ጽኑዕ ፡ ወማእከለ ፡ በግዕ ፡ ድኩም ።
“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says to them: ‘Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
34:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַ֗עַן בְּצַ֤ד וּבְכָתֵף֙ תֶּהְדֹּ֔פוּ וּבְקַרְנֵיכֶ֥ם תְּנַגְּח֖וּ כׇּל ־הַנַּחְל֑וֹת עַ֣ד אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֲפִיצוֹתֶ֛ם אוֹתָ֖נָה אֶל ־הַחֽוּצָה ׃
ἐπὶ ταῖς πλευραῖς καὶ τοῖς ὤμοις ὑμῶν διωθεῖσθε καὶ τοῖς κέρασιν ὑμῶν ἐκερατίζετε καὶ πᾶν τὸ ἐκλεῖπον ἐξεθλίβετε
pro eo quod lateribus et humeris impingebatis , et cornibus vestris ventilabatis omnia infirma pecora , donec dispergerentur foras ,
ተሐዝሉ ፡ በገቦክሙ ፡ ወትሰከሙ ፡ በመታክፍቲክሙ ፡ ወትወግኡ ፡ በአቅርንቲክሙ ፡ ወታጠውቅዎ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ድኩም ።
Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad,
34:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣י לְצֹאנִ֔י וְלֹא ־תִהְיֶ֥ינָה ע֖וֹד לָבַ֑ז וְשָׁ֣פַטְתִּ֔י בֵּ֥ין שֶׂ֖ה לָשֶֽׂה ׃
καὶ σώσω τὰ πρόβατά μου καὶ οὐ μὴ ὦσιν ἔτι εἰς προνομήν καὶ κρινῶ ἀνὰ μέσον κριοῦ πρὸς κριόν
salvabo gregem meum , et non erit ultra in rapinam , et judicabo inter pecus et pecus .
ወአድኅን ፡ አባግዕየ ፡ ወኢይከውና ፡ ምህርካ ፡ ወአስተዋቅሥ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ በግዕ ፡ ወበግዕ ።
therefore I will save my flock, and they will no more be a prey. I will judge between sheep and sheep.
34:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַהֲקִמֹתִ֨י עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם רֹעֶ֤ה אֶחָד֙ וְרָעָ֣ה אֶתְהֶ֔ן אֵ֖ת עַבְדִּ֣י דָוִ֑יד ה֚וּא יִרְעֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וְהֽוּא ־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֖ן לְרֹעֶֽה ׃
καὶ ἀναστήσω ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς ποιμένα ἕνα καὶ ποιμανεῖ αὐτούς τὸν δοῦλόν μου Δαυιδ καὶ ἔσται αὐτῶν ποιμήν
Et suscitabo super eas pastorem unum qui pascat eas , servum meum David : ipse pascet eas , et ipse erit eis in pastorem .
ወእሠይም ፡ ኖላዌ ፡ አሐደ ፡ ወይርዕዮሙ ፡ ገብርየ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ ወይከውኖሙ ፡ ኖላዊሆሙ ።
I will set up one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.
34:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַאֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה אֶֽהְיֶ֤ה לָהֶם֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים וְעַבְדִּ֥י דָוִ֖ד נָשִׂ֣יא בְתוֹכָ֑ם אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי ׃
καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ἔσομαι αὐτοῖς εἰς θεόν καὶ Δαυιδ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ἄρχων ἐγὼ κύριος ἐλάλησα
Ego autem Dominus ero eis in Deum , et servus meus David princeps in medio eorum : ego Dominus locutus sum .
አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እከውኖሙ ፡ አምላኮሙ ፡ ወዳዊትነ ፡ ገብርየ ፡ በማእከሎሙ ፡ መልአኮሙ ። አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነበብኩ ።
I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.
34:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכָרַתִּ֤י לָהֶם֙ בְּרִ֣ית שָׁל֔וֹם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥י חַיָּֽה ־רָעָ֖ה מִן ־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְיָשְׁב֤וּ בַמִּדְבָּר֙ לָבֶ֔טַח וְיָשְׁנ֖וּ בַּיְּעָרִֽים ׃
καὶ διαθήσομαι τῷ Δαυιδ διαθήκην εἰρήνης καὶ ἀφανιῶ θηρία πονηρὰ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ὑπνώσουσιν ἐν τοῖς δρυμοῖς
Et faciam cum eis pactum pacis , et cessare faciam bestias pessimas de terra : et qui habitant in deserto , securi dormient in saltibus .
ወእሠርዕ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ሥርዓተ ፡ ሰላም ፡ ወአጠፍእ ፡ አርዌ ፡ እኩየ ፡ እምድር ፡ ወይነብሩ ፡ ገዳመ ፡ በተዐምኖ ፡ ወይበይቱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዖም ።
“‘I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land. They will dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
34:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתִּ֥י אוֹתָ֛ם וּסְבִיב֥וֹת גִּבְעָתִ֖י בְּרָכָ֑ה וְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤י הַגֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ בְּעִתּ֔וֹ גִּשְׁמֵ֥י בְרָכָ֖ה יִֽהְיֽוּ ׃
καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς περικύκλῳ τοῦ ὄρους μου καὶ δώσω τὸν ὑετὸν ὑμῖν ὑετὸν εὐλογίας
Et ponam eos in circuitu collis mei benedictionem , et deducam imbrem in tempore suo : pluviae benedictionis erunt .
ወአሐፅር ፡ ዐውደ ፡ ደብርየ ፡ ወእሁበክሙ ፡ ዝናመ ፡ ክረምት ፡ በረከተ ።
I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing.
34:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַן֩ עֵ֨ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֜ה אֶת ־פִּרְי֗וֹ וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ תִּתֵּ֣ן יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְהָי֥וּ עַל ־אַדְמָתָ֖ם לָבֶ֑טַח וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה בְּשִׁבְרִי֙ אֶת ־מֹט֣וֹת עֻלָּ֔ם וְהִ֨צַּלְתִּ֔ים מִיַּ֖ד הָעֹבְדִ֥ים בָּהֶֽם ׃
καὶ τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ δώσει τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ γῆ δώσει τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτῆς καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν ἐν ἐλπίδι εἰρήνης καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ συντρῖψαί με τὸν ζυγὸν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς τῶν καταδουλωσαμένων αὐτούς
Et dabit lignum agri fructum suum , et terra dabit germen suum , et erunt in terra sua absque timore : et scient quia ego Dominus , cum contrivero catenas jugi eorum , et eruero eos de manu imperantium sibi .
ወይፈሪ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ገዳም ፡ ወትሁብ ፡ ምድር ፡ ኃይላ ፡ ወይነብሩ ፡ ብሔሮሙ ፡ በሰላም ፡ ተአሚኖሙ ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አመ ፡ ሰበርኩ ፡ አርዑተ ፡ ዘዲበ ፡ ክሳዶሙ ፡ ወአድኅኖሙ ፡ እምእደ ፡ እለ ፡ ይቀንይዎሙ ።
The tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure in their land. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.
34:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹא ־יִהְי֨וּ ע֥וֹד בַּז֙ לַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ לֹ֣א תֹאכְלֵ֑ם וְיָשְׁב֥וּ לָבֶ֖טַח וְאֵ֥ין מַחֲרִֽיד ׃
καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι ἐν προνομῇ τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς οὐκέτι μὴ φάγωσιν αὐτούς καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν ἐλπίδι καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ ἐκφοβῶν αὐτούς
Et non erunt ultra in rapinam in gentibus , neque bestiae terrae devorabunt eos : sed habitabunt confidenter absque ullo terrore .
ወኢይከውኑ ፡ ምህርካ ፡ እንከ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ወኢይበልዖሙ ፡ እንከ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ገዳም ። ወይነብሩ ፡ ተአሚኖሙ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘይጌርሞሙ ።
They will no more be a prey to the nations, neither will the animals of the earth devour them; but they will dwell securely, and no one will make them afraid.
34:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַהֲקִמֹתִ֥י לָהֶ֛ם מַטָּ֖ע לְשֵׁ֑ם וְלֹא ־יִהְי֨וּ ע֜וֹד אֲסֻפֵ֤י רָעָב֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וְלֹא ־יִשְׂא֥וּ ע֖וֹד כְּלִמַּ֥ת הַגּוֹיִֽם ׃
καὶ ἀναστήσω αὐτοῖς φυτὸν εἰρήνης καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται ἀπολλύμενοι λιμῷ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐνέγκωσιν ἔτι ὀνειδισμὸν ἐθνῶν
Et suscitabo eis germen nominatum , et non erunt ultra imminuti fame in terra , neque portabunt ultra opprobrium gentium .
ወአቀውም ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ተክለ ፡ ሰላም ፡ ወኢይመውቱ ፡ እንከ ፡ በረኃብ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወኢያመነዝዝዎሙ ፡ እንከ ፡ አሕዛብ ።
I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they will no more be consumed with famine in the land, and not bear the shame of the nations any more.
34:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיָדְע֗וּ כִּ֣י אֲנִ֧י יְהֹוָ֛ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם אִתָּ֑ם וְהֵ֗מָּה עַמִּי֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃
καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν καὶ αὐτοὶ λαός μου οἶκος Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος
Et scient quia ego Dominus Deus eorum cum eis , et ipsi populus meus domus Israël , ait Dominus Deus .
ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኮሙ ፣፡ ወእሙንቱ ፡ ይከውኑኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ።
They will know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.
34:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתֵּ֥ן צֹאנִ֛י צֹ֥אן מַרְעִיתִ֖י אָדָ֣ם אַתֶּ֑ם אֲנִי֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃ {פ}
πρόβατά μου καὶ πρόβατα ποιμνίου μού ἐστε καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν λέγει κύριος κύριος
Vos autem , greges mei , greges pascuae meae , homines estis : et ego Dominus Deus vester , dicit Dominus Deus .
አንትሙ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ መርዔትየ ፡ ወአነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአሔር ፡ እግዚእ ።
You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”
