Ἰάκωβος θεοῦ καὶ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ δοῦλος ταῖς δώδεκα φυλαῖς ταῖς ἐν τῇ διασπορᾷ χαίρειν .
作上帝和主耶穌基督僕人的雅各請散住十二個支派之人的安。
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are in the Dispersion: Greetings.
1:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Πᾶσαν χαρὰν ἡγήσασθε , ἀδελφοί μου , ὅταν πειρασμοῖς περιπέσητε ποικίλοις ,
我的弟兄們，你們落在百般試煉中，都要以為大喜樂；
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,
1:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
γινώσκοντες ὅτι τὸ δοκίμιον ὑμῶν τῆς πίστεως κατεργάζεται ὑπομονήν .
因為知道你們的信心經過試驗，就生忍耐。
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
1:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἡ δὲ ὑπομονὴ ἔργον τέλειον ἐχέτω , ἵνα ἦτε τέλειοι καὶ ὁλόκληροι , ἐν μηδενὶ λειπόμενοι .
但忍耐也當成功，使你們成全、完備，毫無缺欠。
Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
1:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἰ δέ τις ὑμῶν λείπεται σοφίας , αἰτείτω παρὰ τοῦ διδόντος θεοῦ πᾶσιν ἁπλῶς καὶ μὴ ὀνειδίζοντος , καὶ δοθήσεται αὐτῷ .
你們中間若有缺少智慧的，應當求那厚賜與眾人、也不斥責人的上帝，主就必賜給他。
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
1:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
αἰτείτω δὲ ἐν πίστει , μηδὲν διακρινόμενος · ὁ γὰρ διακρινόμενος ἔοικεν κλύδωνι θαλάσσης ἀνεμιζομένῳ καὶ ῥιπιζομένῳ .
只要憑着信心求，一點不疑惑；因為那疑惑的人，就像海中的波浪，被風吹動翻騰。
But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
1:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
μὴ γὰρ οἰέσθω ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος ὅτι λήμψεταί τι παρὰ τοῦ κυρίου ,
這樣的人不要想從主那裏得甚麼。
For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord.
1:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀνὴρ δίψυχος , ἀκατάστατος ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ .
心懷二意的人，在他一切所行的路上都沒有定見。
He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
1:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Καυχάσθω δὲ ὁ ἀδελφὸς ὁ ταπεινὸς ἐν τῷ ὕψει αὐτοῦ ,
卑微的弟兄升高，就該喜樂；
Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position;
1:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὁ δὲ πλούσιος ἐν τῇ ταπεινώσει αὐτοῦ , ὅτι ὡς ἄνθος χόρτου παρελεύσεται .
富足的降卑，也該如此；因為他必要過去，如同草上的花一樣。
and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.
1:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἀνέτειλεν γὰρ ὁ ἥλιος σὺν τῷ καύσωνι καὶ ἐξήρανεν τὸν χόρτον , καὶ τὸ ἄνθος αὐτοῦ ἐξέπεσεν καὶ ἡ εὐπρέπεια τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ ἀπώλετο · οὕτως καὶ ὁ πλούσιος ἐν ταῖς πορείαις αὐτοῦ μαρανθήσεται .
太陽出來，熱風颳起，草就枯乾，花也凋謝，美容就消沒了；那富足的人，在他所行的事上也要這樣衰殘。
For the sun arises with the scorching wind and withers the grass; and the flower in it falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So the rich man will also fade away in his pursuits.
1:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Μακάριος ἀνὴρ ὃς ὑπομένει πειρασμόν , ὅτι δόκιμος γενόμενος λήμψεται τὸν στέφανον τῆς ζωῆς , ὃν ἐπηγγείλατο τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν αὐτόν .
忍受試探的人是有福的，因為他經過試驗以後，必得生命的冠冕；這是主應許給那些愛他之人的。
Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.
1:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
μηδεὶς πειραζόμενος λεγέτω ὅτι ἀπὸ θεοῦ πειράζομαι · ὁ γὰρ θεὸς ἀπείραστός ἐστιν κακῶν , πειράζει δὲ αὐτὸς οὐδένα .
人被試探，不可說：「我是被上帝試探」；因為上帝不能被惡試探，他也不試探人。
Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
1:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἕκαστος δὲ πειράζεται ὑπὸ τῆς ἰδίας ἐπιθυμίας ἐξελκόμενος καὶ δελεαζόμενος ·
但各人被試探，乃是被自己的私慾牽引誘惑的。
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed.
1:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἶτα ἡ ἐπιθυμία συλλαβοῦσα τίκτει ἁμαρτίαν , ἡ δὲ ἁμαρτία ἀποτελεσθεῖσα ἀποκύει θάνατον .
私慾既懷了胎，就生出罪來；罪既長成，就生出死來。
Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.
1:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Μὴ πλανᾶσθε , ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί .
我親愛的弟兄們，不要看錯了。
Don’t be deceived, my beloved brothers.
1:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
πᾶσα δόσις ἀγαθὴ καὶ πᾶν δώρημα τέλειον ἄνωθέν ἐστιν , καταβαῖνον ἀπὸ τοῦ πατρὸς τῶν φώτων , παρ’ ᾧ οὐκ ἔνι παραλλαγὴ ἢ τροπῆς ἀποσκίασμα .
各樣美善的恩賜和各樣全備的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow.
1:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
βουληθεὶς ἀπεκύησεν ἡμᾶς λόγῳ ἀληθείας , εἰς τὸ εἶναι ἡμᾶς ἀπαρχήν τινα τῶν αὐτοῦ κτισμάτων .
他按自己的旨意，用真道生了我們，叫我們在他所造的萬物中好像初熟的果子。
Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
1:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Ἴστε , ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί . ἔστω δὲ πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ταχὺς εἰς τὸ ἀκοῦσαι , βραδὺς εἰς τὸ λαλῆσαι , βραδὺς εἰς ὀργήν ·
我親愛的弟兄們，這是你們所知道的。但你們各人要快快地聽，慢慢地說，慢慢地動怒，
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;
1:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὀργὴ γὰρ ἀνδρὸς δικαιοσύνην θεοῦ οὐκ ἐργάζεται .
因為人的怒氣並不成就上帝的義。
for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God.
1:21▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
διὸ ἀποθέμενοι πᾶσαν ῥυπαρίαν καὶ περισσείαν κακίας ἐν πραΰτητι δέξασθε τὸν ἔμφυτον λόγον τὸν δυνάμενον σῶσαι τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν .
所以，你們要脫去一切的污穢和盈餘的邪惡，存溫柔的心領受那所栽種的道，就是能救你們靈魂的道。
Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
1:22▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
γίνεσθε δὲ ποιηταὶ λόγου καὶ μὴ μόνον ἀκροαταὶ παραλογιζόμενοι ἑαυτούς .
只是你們要行道，不要單單聽道，自己欺哄自己。
But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
1:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὅτι εἴ τις ἀκροατὴς λόγου ἐστὶν καὶ οὐ ποιητής , οὗτος ἔοικεν ἀνδρὶ κατανοοῦντι τὸ πρόσωπον τῆς γενέσεως αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐσόπτρῳ ·
因為聽道而不行道的，就像人對着鏡子看自己本來的面目，
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;
1:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
κατενόησεν γὰρ ἑαυτὸν καὶ ἀπελήλυθεν καὶ εὐθέως ἐπελάθετο ὁποῖος ἦν .
看見，走後，隨即忘了他的相貌如何。
for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
1:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ὁ δὲ παρακύψας εἰς νόμον τέλειον τὸν τῆς ἐλευθερίας καὶ παραμείνας , οὐκ ἀκροατὴς ἐπιλησμονῆς γενόμενος ἀλλὰ ποιητὴς ἔργου , οὗτος μακάριος ἐν τῇ ποιήσει αὐτοῦ ἔσται .
惟有詳細察看那全備、使人自由之律法的，並且時常如此，這人既不是聽了就忘，乃是實在行出來，就在他所行的事上必然得福。
But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
1:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
εἴ τις δοκεῖ θρησκὸς εἶναι , μὴ χαλιναγωγῶν γλῶσσαν αὐτοῦ ἀλλὰ ἀπατῶν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ , τούτου μάταιος ἡ θρησκία .
若有人自以為虔誠，卻不勒住他的舌頭，反欺哄自己的心，這人的虔誠是虛的。
If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.
1:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
θρησκία καθαρὰ καὶ ἀμίαντος παρὰ θεῷ καὶ πατρὶ αὕτη ἐστίν , ἐπισκέπτεσθαι ὀρφανοὺς καὶ χήρας ἐν τῇ θλίψει αὐτῶν , ἄσπιλον ἑαυτὸν τηρεῖν ἀπὸ τοῦ κόσμου .
在上帝我們的父面前，那清潔沒有玷污的虔誠，就是看顧在患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不沾染世俗。
Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
