Unde , fratres sancti , vocationis caelestis participes , considerate Apostolum , et pontificem confessionis nostrae Jesum :
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，你們應當思想我們所認為使者、為大祭司的耶穌。

qui fidelis est ei , qui fecit illum , sicut et Moyses in omni domo ejus .
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
他為那設立他的盡忠，如同摩西在上帝的全家盡忠一樣。

Amplioris enim gloriae iste prae Moyse dignus est habitus , quanto ampliorem honorem habet domus , qui fabricavit illam .
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
他比摩西算是更配多得榮耀，好像建造房屋的比房屋更尊榮；

Omnis namque domus fabricatur ab aliquo : qui autem omnia creavit , Deus est .
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
因為房屋都必有人建造，但建造萬物的就是上帝。
3:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Et Moyses quidem fidelis erat in tota domo ejus tamquam famulus , in testimonium eorum , quae dicenda erant :
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
摩西為僕人，在上帝的全家誠然盡忠，為要證明將來必傳說的事。

Christus vero tamquam filius in domo sua : quae domus sumus nos , si fiduciam , et gloriam spei usque ad finem , firmam retineamus .
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
但基督為兒子，治理上帝的家；我們若將可誇的盼望和膽量堅持到底，便是他的家了。

Quapropter sicut dicit Spiritus Sanctus : Hodie si vocem ejus audieritis ,
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
聖靈有話說： 你們今日若聽他的話，
3:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
nolite obdurare corda vestra , sicut in exacerbatione secundum diem tentationis in deserto ,
don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
就不可硬着心， 像在曠野惹他發怒、 試探他的時候一樣。

ubi tentaverunt me patres vestri : probaverunt , et viderunt opera mea
where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
在那裏，你們的祖宗試我探我， 並且觀看我的作為有四十年之久。

quadraginta annis : propter quod infensus fui generationi huic , et dixi : Semper errant corde . Ipsi autem non cognoverunt vias meas ,
Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
所以，我厭煩那世代的人，說： 他們心裏常常迷糊， 竟不曉得我的作為！
3:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
sicut juravi in ira mea : Si introibunt in requiem meam .
As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
我就在怒中起誓說： 他們斷不可進入我的安息。
3:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Videte fratres , ne forte sit in aliquo vestrum cor malum incredulitatis , discedendi a Deo vivo :
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得你們中間或有人存着不信的惡心，把永生上帝離棄了。
3:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
sed adhortamini vosmetipsos per singulos dies , donec hodie cognominatur , ut non obduretur quis ex vobis fallacia peccati .
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
總要趁着還有今日，天天彼此相勸，免得你們中間有人被罪迷惑，心裏就剛硬了。
3:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Participes enim Christi effecti sumus , si tamen initium substantiae ejus usque ad finem firmum retineamus .
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
我們若將起初確實的信心堅持到底，就在基督裏有分了。

Dum dicitur : Hodie si vocem ejus audieritis , nolite obdurare corda vestra , quemadmodum in illa exacerbatione .
while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
經上說：「你們今日若聽他的話，就不可硬着心，像惹他發怒的日子一樣。」
3:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Quidam enim audientes exacerbaverunt : sed non universi qui profecti sunt ex Aegypto per Moysen .
For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
那時，聽見他話惹他發怒的是誰呢？豈不是跟着摩西從埃及出來的眾人嗎？
3:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Quibus autem infensus est quadraginta annis ? nonne illis qui peccaverunt , quorum cadavera prostrata sunt in deserto ?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
上帝四十年之久，又厭煩誰呢？豈不是那些犯罪、屍首倒在曠野的人嗎？
3:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Quibus autem juravit non introire in requiem ipsius , nisi illis qui increduli fuerunt ?
To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
又向誰起誓，不容他們進入他的安息呢？豈不是向那些不信從的人嗎？
3:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Et videmus , quia non potuerunt introire propter incredulitatem .
We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
這樣看來，他們不能進入安息是因為不信的緣故了。
