ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).
1:1121
as are the counsels, such also are the words; and as are the words, such likewise are the deeds; and as are the works, such is the life;
意念怎樣,言語也怎樣;言語怎樣,行為也照樣;工作怎樣,生活也怎樣;
1:1122
the whole life of those who have come to know Christ is good.
Enough, I think, of words—even if, out of love for mankind, I have proceeded somewhat at length, pouring out all that I had from God, as one exhorting toward the greatest of good things, salvation;
話說到此,我想已經足夠了——縱然我出於對人的愛,講得稍長了些,將我從神所得的盡都傾倒出來,作那勸人歸向至大美善(就是拯救)的人;
1:1124
for concerning the life that has in no way and at no point any cessation, not even words are willing ever to cease their hierophant's proclamation.
But for you there still remains this profitable end—to choose either judgment or grace;
但對你們而言,還剩下這有益的抉擇——就是揀選審判,或是揀選恩典;
1:1126
as for me, I do not even think it worthy of doubt which of the two is better;
至於我,我甚至不認為這二者中哪一樣更好還值得懷疑;
1:1127
nor indeed is it lawful to compare life with destruction.
