ወአልቦ ፡ ዘአአምር ፡ በዘትፄዓር ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ እምዕዑብ ፡ አወሥአ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ ወእነብብ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትጠወቅ ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ መረረ ።
“My soul is weary of my life. I will give free course to my complaint. I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
我厭煩我的性命， 必由着自己述說我的哀情； 因心裏苦惱，我要說話，
10:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወእብሎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢትምሕርኑ ፡ ኃጥአ ፡ ወለምንት ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ኰነንከኒ ።
I will tell God, ‘Do not condemn me. Show me why you contend with me.
對上帝說：不要定我有罪， 要指示我，你為何與我爭辯？
10:3▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ይሤንየከኑ ፡ እመ ፡ አበስኩ ፡ እስመ ፡ ተኃየይከ ፡ ተግባረ ፡ እደዊከ ፡ ወነጸርከ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ረሲዓን ።
Is it good to you that you should oppress, that you should despise the work of your hands, and smile on the counsel of the wicked?
你手所造的， 你又欺壓，又藐視， 卻光照惡人的計謀。 這事你以為美嗎？
10:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ቦኑ ፡ ዓይነ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወበከመ ፡ መዋቲኑ ፡ ትኔጽር ፡ ወትሬኢ ።
Do you have eyes of flesh? Or do you see as man sees?
你的眼豈是肉眼？ 你查看豈像人查看嗎？
10:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወመዋዕሊከኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘሰብእኑ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወዓመቲከኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘእጓለ ፡ እመሕያውኑ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትኅሥሣ ፡ ለኃጢአት ፡ ወትሕትት ፡ ጌጋይየ ።
Are your days as the days of mortals, or your years as man’s years,
你的日子豈像人的日子， 你的年歲豈像人的年歲，
10:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ተአምር ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘኢአበስኩከ ፡ ወባሕቱ ፡ መኑ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ዘያመስጥ ፡ እምዴከ ።
that you inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin?
就追問我的罪孽， 尋察我的罪過嗎？
10:7▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
እደዊከ ፡ ፈጠራኒ ፡ ወገብራኒ ፡ ወእምዝ ፡ አፍለስከኒ ፡ ወነጻሕከኒ ።
Although you know that I am not wicked, there is no one who can deliver out of your hand.
其實，你知道我沒有罪惡， 並沒有能救我脫離你手的。
10:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ተዘከር ፡ ከመ ፡ እምፅቡር ፡ ፈጠርከኒ ፡ ወታገብአኒ ፡ ካዕበ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መሬት ።
“‘Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether, yet you destroy me.
你的手創造我，造就我的四肢百體， 你還要毀滅我。
10:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወከመ ፡ ሐሊብ ፡ ሐለብከኒ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ግብነት ፡ አርጋእከኒ ።
Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. Will you bring me into dust again?
求你記念－製造我如摶泥一般， 你還要使我歸於塵土嗎？
10:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወአልበስከኒ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ወማእሰ ፡ ወአሰርከ ፡ አዕፅምትየ ፡ በአሥራው ።
Haven’t you poured me out like milk, and curdled me like cheese?
你不是倒出我來好像奶， 使我凝結如同奶餅嗎？
10:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወወሀብከኒ ፡ ሣህለ ፡ ወምሕረተ ፡ ወሕይወተ ፡ ወሐውጾትከ ፡ ዓቀበኒ ፡ መንፈስየ ።
You have clothed me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews.
你以皮和肉為衣給我穿上， 用骨與筋把我全體聯絡。
10:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወዝንቱ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ በኀቤከ ፡ ሀሎ ፡ አአምር ፡ ከመ ፡ ትከል ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘይሰአነከ ፡ ምንተኒ ።
You have granted me life and loving kindness. Your visitation has preserved my spirit.
你將生命和慈愛賜給我； 你也眷顧保全我的心靈。
10:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወሶበሁ ፡ አበስኩ ፡ እምዓቀብከኒ ፡ ወእምአንጻሕከኒ ፡ እም ፡ ኃጢአትየ ።
Yet you hid these things in your heart. I know that this is with you:
然而，你待我的這些事早已藏在你心裏； 我知道你久有此意。
10:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወአመኒ ፡ አበስኩ ፡ አሌ ፡ ኢተ ፡ ወአመኒ ፡ ጸደቁ ፡ ስእንኩ ፡ አንቃዕድዎ ፡ ወጸገብክዋ ፡ ለኃሣር ።
if I sin, then you mark me. You will not acquit me from my iniquity.
我若犯罪，你就察看我， 並不赦免我的罪孽。
10:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ከመ ፡ አንበሳ ፡ ዘተሠግረ ፡ ወተቀትለ ፡ ዘኢይትነከር ፡ ከማሁ ፡ ኮንኩ ፡ ወካዕበ ፡ ታአትተኒ ፡ በሞት ፡ ወበሕቁ ፡ ትጤስየኒ ።
If I am wicked, woe to me. If I am righteous, I still will not lift up my head, being filled with disgrace, and conscious of my affliction.
我若行惡，便有了禍； 我若為義，也不敢抬頭， 正是滿心羞愧， 眼見我的苦情。
10:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወእምጥንቁ ፡ ካዕበ ፡ ተሐትተኒ ፡ ወአምጻእከ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ዓቢየ ፡ መቅሠፍተ ፡ ወፈነውከ ፡ ዲቤየ ፡ መንሱተ ።
If my head is held high, you hunt me like a lion. Again you show yourself powerful to me.
我若昂首自得，你就追捕我如獅子， 又在我身上顯出奇能。
10:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወለምንት ፡ ኢሞትኩ ፡ እንከ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ታወጽአኒ ፡ እምከርሠ ፡ እምየ ፡ ወኢትርአየኒ ፡ ዓይን ፡ ወእኩን ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘኢተፈጠርኩ ።
You renew your witnesses against me, and increase your indignation on me. Changes and warfare are with me.
你重立見證攻擊我， 向我加增惱怒， 如軍兵更換着攻擊我。
10:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወለምንት ፡ ተፈጢርየ ፡ ዘኢወርድኩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መቃብር ፡ ወወጺእየ ፡ እምከርሥ ፡ ዘኢተኃጐልኩ ፡ ሶቤሃ ።
“‘Why, then, have you brought me out of the womb? I wish I had given up the spirit, and no eye had seen me.
你為何使我出母胎呢？ 不如我當時氣絕，無人得見我；
10:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ወለምንት ፡ ውስተ ፡ መቃብር ፡ ኢያዕረፍኩ ፡ አኮኑ ፡ ውኁድ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ሕይወትየ ፡ ወኁልቈ ፡ አውራኅየ ።
I should have been as though I had not been. I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
這樣，就如沒有我一般， 一出母胎就被送入墳墓。
10:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ኅድገኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ አዕርፍ ፡ ሕቀ ፡ ዘእንበለ ፡ እሑር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኢይ ፡ ገብአ ፡ ብሔር ፡ ጽልመት ፡ ወቆባር ፡ ብሔር ፡ ጽልመት ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ ኀበ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ብርሃን ፡ ወኢይሬኢ ፡ ብርሃነ ፡ ወሕይወተ ፡ መዋቲ ።
Aren’t my days few? Stop! Leave me alone, that I may find a little comfort,
我的日子不是甚少嗎？ 求你停手寬容我， 叫我在往而不返之先－ 就是往黑暗和死蔭之地以先－ 可以稍得暢快。
