27:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתִּקְרַ֜בְנָה בְּנ֣וֹת צְלׇפְחָ֗ד בֶּן ־חֵ֤פֶר בֶּן ־גִּלְעָד֙ בֶּן ־מָכִ֣יר בֶּן ־מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה לְמִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה בֶן ־יוֹסֵ֑ף וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ שְׁמ֣וֹת בְּנֹתָ֔יו מַחְלָ֣ה נֹעָ֔ה וְחׇגְלָ֥ה וּמִלְכָּ֖ה וְתִרְצָֽה ׃
καὶ προσελθοῦσαι αἱ θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ υἱοῦ Οφερ υἱοῦ Γαλααδ υἱοῦ Μαχιρ τοῦ δήμου Μανασση τῶν υἱῶν Ιωσηφ καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν Μαλα καὶ Νουα καὶ Εγλα καὶ Μελχα καὶ Θερσα
Accesserunt autem filiae Salphaad , filii Hepher , filii Galaad , filii Machir , filii Manasse , qui fuit filius Joseph : quarum sunt nomina , Maala , et Noa , et Hegla , et Melcha , et Thersa .
ወመጽኣ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ሰልጰአድ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዖፌር ፡ ወልደ ፡ ገላአድ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ማኪር ፡ ዘእምነገደ ፡ ማናሴ ፡ ዘእምደቂቀ ፡ ዮሴፍ ፡ ወዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አስማቲሆን ፡ መሐላ ፡ ወኑሐ ፡ ወሔግላ ፡ ወሜልካ ፡ ወቴርሳ ።
Then the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph came near. These are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
27:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֜דְנָה לִפְנֵ֣י מֹשֶׁ֗ה וְלִפְנֵי֙ אֶלְעָזָ֣ר הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְלִפְנֵ֥י הַנְּשִׂיאִ֖ם וְכׇל ־הָעֵדָ֑ה פֶּ֥תַח אֹֽהֶל ־מוֹעֵ֖ד לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ στᾶσαι ἔναντι Μωυσῆ καὶ ἔναντι Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἔναντι τῶν ἀρχόντων καὶ ἔναντι πάσης συναγωγῆς ἐπὶ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου λέγουσιν
Steteruntque coram Moyse et Eleazaro sacerdote et cunctis principibus populi ad ostium tabernaculi foederis , atque dixerunt :
ወቆማ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ካህን ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ መላእክት ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወይቤላ ፤
They stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, at the door of the Tent of Meeting, saying,
27:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָבִ֘ינוּ֮ מֵ֣ת בַּמִּדְבָּר֒ וְה֨וּא לֹא ־הָיָ֜ה בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעֵדָ֗ה הַנּוֹעָדִ֛ים עַל ־יְהֹוָ֖ה בַּעֲדַת ־קֹ֑רַח כִּֽי ־בְחֶטְא֣וֹ מֵ֔ת וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא ־הָ֥יוּ לֽוֹ ׃
ὁ πατὴρ ἡμῶν ἀπέθανεν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ αὐτὸς οὐκ ἦν ἐν μέσῳ τῆς συναγωγῆς τῆς ἐπισυστάσης ἔναντι κυρίου ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ Κορε ὅτι διὰ ἁμαρτίαν αὐτοῦ ἀπέθανεν καὶ υἱοὶ οὐκ ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ
Pater noster mortuus est in deserto , nec fuit in seditione , quae concitata est contra Dominum sub Core , sed in peccato suo mortuus est : hic non habuit mares filios . Cur tollitur nomen illius de familia sua , quia non habuit filium ? date nobis possessionem inter cognatos patris nostri .
አቡነ ፡ ሞተ ፡ በገዳም ፡ ወኢሀለወ ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለትዕይንት ፡ እንተ ፡ ተቃወመት ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንተ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ እስመ ፡ በኀጢአተ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ሞተ ፡ ወአልቦቱ ፡ ደቂቀ ።
“Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against Yahweh in the company of Korah, but he died in his own sin. He had no sons.
27:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָ֣מָּה יִגָּרַ֤ע שֵׁם ־אָבִ֙ינוּ֙ מִתּ֣וֹךְ מִשְׁפַּחְתּ֔וֹ כִּ֛י אֵ֥ין ל֖וֹ בֵּ֑ן תְּנָה ־לָּ֣נוּ אֲחֻזָּ֔ה בְּת֖וֹךְ אֲחֵ֥י אָבִֽינוּ ׃
μὴ ἐξαλειφθήτω τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν ἐκ μέσου τοῦ δήμου αὐτοῦ ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτῷ υἱός δότε ἡμῖν κατάσχεσιν ἐν μέσῳ ἀδελφῶν πατρὸς ἡμῶν
Retulitque Moyses causam earum ad judicium Domini .
ኢይደምሰስ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለአቡነ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ነገዱ ፡ እስመ ፡ አልቦቱ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ሀቡነ ፡ መክፈልተነ ፡ በማእከለ ፡ አኀዊሁ ፡ ለአቡነ ።
Why should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he had no son? Give to us a possession among the brothers of our father.”
27:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּקְרֵ֥ב מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת ־מִשְׁפָּטָ֖ן לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ προσήγαγεν Μωυσῆς τὴν κρίσιν αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου
Qui dixit ad eum :
ወአብአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ቃሎን ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Moses brought their cause before Yahweh.
27:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Justam rem postulant filiae Salphaad : da eis possessionem inter cognatos patris sui , et ei in haereditatem succedant .
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
27:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֵּ֗ן בְּנ֣וֹת צְלׇפְחָד֮ דֹּבְרֹת֒ נָתֹ֨ן תִּתֵּ֤ן לָהֶם֙ אֲחֻזַּ֣ת נַחֲלָ֔ה בְּת֖וֹךְ אֲחֵ֣י אֲבִיהֶ֑ם וְהַֽעֲבַרְתָּ֛ אֶת ־נַחֲלַ֥ת אֲבִיהֶ֖ן לָהֶֽן ׃
ὀρθῶς θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ λελαλήκασιν δόμα δώσεις αὐταῖς κατάσχεσιν κληρονομίας ἐν μέσῳ ἀδελφῶν πατρὸς αὐτῶν καὶ περιθήσεις τὸν κλῆρον τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν αὐταῖς
Ad filios autem Israël loqueris haec :
ርቱዐ ፡ ይቤላ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ሰልጰኣድ ፡ ሀቦን ፡ ሀብቶን ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ ርስቶን ፡ በማእከለ ፡ አኀዊሁ ፡ ለአቡሆን ፡ ወታገብእ ፡ ሎንቱ ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ አቡሆን ።
“The daughters of Zelophehad speak right. You shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brothers. You shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.
27:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶל ־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל תְּדַבֵּ֣ר לֵאמֹ֑ר אִ֣ישׁ כִּֽי ־יָמ֗וּת וּבֵן֙ אֵ֣ין ל֔וֹ וְהַֽעֲבַרְתֶּ֥ם אֶת ־נַחֲלָת֖וֹ לְבִתּֽוֹ ׃
καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λαλήσεις λέγων ἄνθρωπος ἐὰν ἀποθάνῃ καὶ υἱὸς μὴ ᾖ αὐτῷ περιθήσετε τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ τῇ θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ
Homo cum mortuus fuerit absque filio , ad filiam ejus transibit haereditas .
ወንግሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ዘሞተ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ትሁቡ ፡ ርስቶ ፡ ለአዋልዲሁ ።
You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a man dies, and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.
27:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִם ־אֵ֥ין ל֖וֹ בַּ֑ת וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם אֶת ־נַחֲלָת֖וֹ לְאֶחָֽיו ׃
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ᾖ θυγάτηρ αὐτῷ δώσετε τὴν κληρονομίαν τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ
Si filiam non habuerit , habebit successores fratres suos .
ወለእመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ሀቡ ፡ ርስቶ ፡ ለአኀዊሁ ።
If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.
27:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִם ־אֵ֥ין ל֖וֹ אַחִ֑ים וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם אֶת ־נַחֲלָת֖וֹ לַאֲחֵ֥י אָבִֽיו ׃
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ὦσιν αὐτῷ ἀδελφοί δώσετε τὴν κληρονομίαν τῷ ἀδελφῷ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ
Quod si et fratres non fuerint , dabitis haereditatem fratribus patris ejus .
ወለእመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ አኀወ ፡ ሀቡ ፡ ርስቶ ፡ ለእኅወ ፡ አቡሁ ።
If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father’s brothers.
27:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִם ־אֵ֣ין אַחִים֮ לְאָבִיו֒ וּנְתַתֶּ֣ם אֶת ־נַחֲלָת֗וֹ לִשְׁאֵר֞וֹ הַקָּרֹ֥ב אֵלָ֛יו מִמִּשְׁפַּחְתּ֖וֹ וְיָרַ֣שׁ אֹתָ֑הּ וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה לִבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לְחֻקַּ֣ת מִשְׁפָּ֔ט כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ὦσιν ἀδελφοὶ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ δώσετε τὴν κληρονομίαν τῷ οἰκείῳ τῷ ἔγγιστα αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς αὐτοῦ κληρονομήσει τὰ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔσται τοῦτο τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ δικαίωμα κρίσεως καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
Sin autem nec patruos habuerit , dabitur haereditas his qui ei proximi sunt . Eritque hoc filiis Israël sanctum lege perpetua , sicut praecepit Dominus Moysi .
ወለእመ ፡ አልቦ ፡ አኀወ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ሀቡ ፡ ርስቶ ፡ ለቤት ፡ ዘቅሩቡ ፡ ዘእምነገዱ ፡ ይወርስ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ኵነኔየ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ።
If his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman who is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it. This shall be a statute and ordinance for the children of Israel, as Yahweh commanded Moses.’”
27:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה עֲלֵ֛ה אֶל ־הַ֥ר הָעֲבָרִ֖ים הַזֶּ֑ה וּרְאֵה֙ אֶת ־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἀνάβηθι εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἐν τῷ πέραν τοῦτο ὄρος Ναβαυ καὶ ἰδὲ τὴν γῆν Χανααν ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἐν κατασχέσει
Dixit quoque Dominus ad Moysen : Ascende in montem istum Abarim , et contemplare inde terram , quam daturus sum filiis Israël .
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ዕረግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብር ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ማዕዶ [ት ] ፡ ደብረ ፡ ናበው ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወርእያ ፡ ለምድረ ፡ ከናአን ፡ እንተ ፡ አነ ፡ እሁቦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ይኰነንዋ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
27:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְרָאִ֣יתָה אֹתָ֔הּ וְנֶאֱסַפְתָּ֥ אֶל ־עַמֶּ֖יךָ גַּם ־אָ֑תָּה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נֶאֱסַ֖ף אַהֲרֹ֥ן אָחִֽיךָ ׃
καὶ ὄψει αὐτὴν καὶ προστεθήσῃ πρὸς τὸν λαόν σου καὶ σύ καθὰ προσετέθη Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἐν Ωρ τῷ ὄρει
Cumque videris eam , ibis et tu ad populum tuum , sicut ivit frater tuus Aaron :
ወርእያ ፡ ወትትዌሰክ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሕዝብከ ፡ አንተሂ ፡ በከመ ፡ ተወሰከ ፡ አሮን ፡ እኁከ ፡ በደብረ ፡ ሆር ።
When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered;
27:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ מְרִיתֶ֨ם פִּ֜י בְּמִדְבַּר ־צִ֗ן בִּמְרִיבַת֙ הָֽעֵדָ֔ה לְהַקְדִּישֵׁ֥נִי בַמַּ֖יִם לְעֵינֵיהֶ֑ם הֵ֛ם מֵֽי ־מְרִיבַ֥ת קָדֵ֖שׁ מִדְבַּר ־צִֽן ׃ {ס}
διότι παρέβητε τὸ ῥῆμά μου ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σιν ἐν τῷ ἀντιπίπτειν τὴν συναγωγὴν ἁγιάσαι με οὐχ ἡγιάσατέ με ἐπὶ τῷ ὕδατι ἔναντι αὐτῶν τοῦτό ἐστιν ὕδωρ ἀντιλογίας Καδης ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σιν
quia offendistis me in deserto Sin in contradictione multitudinis , nec sanctificare me voluistis coram ea super aquas . Hae sunt aquae contradictionis in Cades deserti Sin .
እስመ ፡ ተዐወርክሙ ፡ ቃልየ ፡ በገዳም ፡ ዘ [ፂን ] ፡ አመ ፡ ተዋሳእክምዎሙ ፡ ለትዕይንት ፡ ወቀድሶሂ ፡ ኢቀደስክሙኒ ፡ በበይነ ፡ ማይ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ ማየ ፡ ቅስት ፡ ዘበ ፡ ቃዴስ ፡ በገዳም ፡ ዘ [ፂን ] ።
because in the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, to honor me as holy at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
27:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶל ־יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον
Cui respondit Moyses :
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤
Moses spoke to Yahweh, saying,
27:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִפְקֹ֣ד יְהֹוָ֔ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י הָרוּחֹ֖ת לְכׇל ־בָּשָׂ֑ר אִ֖ישׁ עַל ־הָעֵדָֽה ׃
ἐπισκεψάσθω κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πνευμάτων καὶ πάσης σαρκὸς ἄνθρωπον ἐπὶ τῆς συναγωγῆς ταύτης
Provideat Dominus Deus spirituum omnis carnis hominem , qui sit super multitudinem hanc :
ለይርአይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኮ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ብእሴ ፡ ለዛቲ ፡ ትዕይንት ፤
“Let Yahweh, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,
27:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲשֶׁר ־יֵצֵ֣א לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר יָבֹא֙ לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר יוֹצִיאֵ֖ם וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר יְבִיאֵ֑ם וְלֹ֤א תִהְיֶה֙ עֲדַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֔ה כַּצֹּ֕אן אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵין ־לָהֶ֖ם רֹעֶֽה ׃
ὅστις ἐξελεύσεται πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν καὶ ὅστις εἰσελεύσεται πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν καὶ ὅστις ἐξάξει αὐτοὺς καὶ ὅστις εἰσάξει αὐτούς καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἡ συναγωγὴ κυρίου ὡσεὶ πρόβατα οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν ποιμήν
et possit exire et intrare ante eos , et educere eos vel introducere : ne sit populus Domini sicut oves absque pastore .
ዘይወፅእ ፡ ወይበውእ ፡ ወዘያወፅኦሙ ፡ ወዘያበውኦሙ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ገጾሙ ፡ ወኢትኩን ፡ ትዕይንቱ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ አባግዕ ፡ ዘአልቦ ፡ ኖላዌ ።
who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in, that the congregation of Yahweh may not be as sheep which have no shepherd.”
27:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֗ה קַח ־לְךָ֙ אֶת ־יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בִּן ־נ֔וּן אִ֖ישׁ אֲשֶׁר ־ר֣וּחַ בּ֑וֹ וְסָמַכְתָּ֥ אֶת ־יָדְךָ֖ עָלָֽיו ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων λαβὲ πρὸς σεαυτὸν τὸν Ἰησοῦν υἱὸν Ναυη ἄνθρωπον ὃς ἔχει πνεῦμα ἐν ἑαυτῷ καὶ ἐπιθήσεις τὰς χεῖράς σου ἐπ’ αὐτὸν
Dixitque Dominus ad eum : Tolle Josue filium Nun , virum in quo est spiritus , et pone manum tuam super eum .
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ ንሥኦ ፡ ኀቤከ ፡ ለዮሴዕ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ነዌ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ወደይ ፡ እዴከ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.
27:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַֽעֲמַדְתָּ֣ אֹת֗וֹ לִפְנֵי֙ אֶלְעָזָ֣ר הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְלִפְנֵ֖י כׇּל ־הָעֵדָ֑ה וְצִוִּיתָ֥ה אֹת֖וֹ לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ στήσεις αὐτὸν ἔναντι Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἐντελῇ αὐτῷ ἔναντι πάσης συναγωγῆς καὶ ἐντελῇ περὶ αὐτοῦ ἐναντίον αὐτῶν
Qui stabit coram Eleazaro sacerdote et omni multitudine :
ወአቅሞ ፡ [ቅድመ ፡] እልዓዛር ፡ ካህን ፡ ወአዝዞ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ ወአ [ዝዝ ] ፡ በእንቲአሁ ፡ ቅድሜሆሙ ።
Set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and commission him in their sight.
27:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתָּ֥ה מֵהֽוֹדְךָ֖ עָלָ֑יו לְמַ֣עַן יִשְׁמְע֔וּ כׇּל ־עֲדַ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ δώσεις τῆς δόξης σου ἐπ’ αὐτόν ὅπως ἂν εἰσακούσωσιν αὐτοῦ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ
et dabis ei praecepta cunctis videntibus , et partem gloriae tuae , ut audiat eum omnis synagoga filiorum Israël .
ወታገብእ ፡ ክብረከ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይትአዘዙ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
You shall give authority to him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.
27:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלִפְנֵ֨י אֶלְעָזָ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ יַעֲמֹ֔ד וְשָׁ֥אַל ל֛וֹ בְּמִשְׁפַּ֥ט הָאוּרִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה עַל ־פִּ֨יו יֵצְא֜וּ וְעַל ־פִּ֣יו יָבֹ֗אוּ ה֛וּא וְכׇל ־בְּנֵי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל אִתּ֖וֹ וְכׇל ־הָעֵדָֽה ׃
καὶ ἔναντι Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως στήσεται καὶ ἐπερωτήσουσιν αὐτὸν τὴν κρίσιν τῶν δήλων ἔναντι κυρίου ἐπὶ τῷ στόματι αὐτοῦ ἐξελεύσονται καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ στόματι αὐτοῦ εἰσελεύσονται αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ὁμοθυμαδὸν καὶ πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγή
Pro hoc , si quid agendum erit , Eleazar sacerdos consulet Dominum . Ad verbum ejus egredietur et ingredietur ipse , et omnes filii Israël cum eo , et cetera multitudo .
ወይቁም ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ካህን ፡ ወይስአልዎ ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ዘይትናገር ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበቃለ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ይፃኡ ፡ ወበቃለ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ ይባኡ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ።
He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before Yahweh. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.”
27:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֹת֑וֹ וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת ־יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ וַיַּֽעֲמִדֵ֙הוּ֙ לִפְנֵי֙ אֶלְעָזָ֣ר הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְלִפְנֵ֖י כׇּל ־הָעֵדָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυσῆς καθὰ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ κύριος καὶ λαβὼν τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἔστησεν αὐτὸν ἐναντίον Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἔναντι πάσης συναγωγῆς
Fecit Moyses ut praeceperat Dominus : cumque tulisset Josue , statuit eum coram Eleazaro sacerdote et omni frequentia populi .
ወገብረ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወነሥኦ ፡ ለዮሴዕ ፡ ወአቀሞ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ካህን ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ ወወደየ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ወሤሞ ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Moses did as Yahweh commanded him. He took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.
27:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּסְמֹ֧ךְ אֶת ־יָדָ֛יו עָלָ֖יו וַיְצַוֵּ֑הוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּיַד ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτὸν καὶ συνέστησεν αὐτόν καθάπερ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
Et impositis capiti ejus manibus , cuncta replicavit quae mandaverat Dominus .
— He laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as Yahweh spoke by Moses.
