16:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה אַחֲרֵ֣י מ֔וֹת שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן בְּקׇרְבָתָ֥ם לִפְנֵי ־יְהֹוָ֖ה וַיָּמֻֽתוּ ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν μετὰ τὸ τελευτῆσαι τοὺς δύο υἱοὺς Ααρων ἐν τῷ προσάγειν αὐτοὺς πῦρ ἀλλότριον ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐτελεύτησαν
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen post mortem duorum filiorum Aaron , quando offerentes ignem alienum interfecti sunt :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ ሞተ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ አሮን ፡ በእንተ ፡ ዘአምጽኡ ፡ እሳተ ፡ እምባዕድ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሞቱ ።
Yahweh spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came near before Yahweh, and died;
16:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֗ה דַּבֵּר֮ אֶל ־אַהֲרֹ֣ן אָחִ֒יךָ֒ וְאַל ־יָבֹ֤א בְכׇל ־עֵת֙ אֶל ־הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ מִבֵּ֖ית לַפָּרֹ֑כֶת אֶל ־פְּנֵ֨י הַכַּפֹּ֜רֶת אֲשֶׁ֤ר עַל ־הָאָרֹן֙ וְלֹ֣א יָמ֔וּת כִּ֚י בֶּֽעָנָ֔ן אֵרָאֶ֖ה עַל ־הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת ׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λάλησον πρὸς Ααρων τὸν ἀδελφόν σου καὶ μὴ εἰσπορευέσθω πᾶσαν ὥραν εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος εἰς πρόσωπον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου ὅ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται ἐν γὰρ νεφέλῃ ὀφθήσομαι ἐπὶ τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου
et praecepit ei , dicens : Loquere ad Aaron fratrem tuum , ne omni tempore ingrediatur sanctuarium , quod est intra velum coram propitiatorio quo tegitur arca , ut non moriatur (quia in nube apparebo super oraculum ),
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብል ፡ በሎ ፡ ለአሮን ፡ እኁከ ፡ ኢይባእ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ሰዓት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውስጡ ፡ ለመንጦላዕት ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ምሥሃል ፡ ዘመልዕልተ ፡ ታቦት ፡ ወኢይመውት ፡ እምከመ ፡ ባሕቱ ፡ በደመና ፡ አስተርአይኩ ።
and Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.
16:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּזֹ֛את יָבֹ֥א אַהֲרֹ֖ן אֶל ־הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ בְּפַ֧ר בֶּן ־בָּקָ֛ר לְחַטָּ֖את וְאַ֥יִל לְעֹלָֽה ׃
οὕτως εἰσελεύσεται Ααρων εἰς τὸ ἅγιον ἐν μόσχῳ ἐκ βοῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ κριὸν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα
nisi haec ante fecerit : vitulum pro peccato offeret , et arietem in holocaustum .
እምዝ ፡ ይባእ ፡ አሮን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ምስለ ፡ ላህም ፡ ዘእምውስተ ፡ አልህምት ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ወበግዕ ፡ ለ [መሥዋዕት ] ።
“Aaron shall come into the sanctuary with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
16:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּתֹֽנֶת ־בַּ֨ד קֹ֜דֶשׁ יִלְבָּ֗שׁ וּמִֽכְנְסֵי ־בַד֮ יִהְי֣וּ עַל ־בְּשָׂרוֹ֒ וּבְאַבְנֵ֥ט בַּד֙ יַחְגֹּ֔ר וּבְמִצְנֶ֥פֶת בַּ֖ד יִצְנֹ֑ף בִּגְדֵי ־קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֔ם וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֛יִם אֶת ־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ וּלְבֵשָֽׁם ׃
καὶ χιτῶνα λινοῦν ἡγιασμένον ἐνδύσεται καὶ περισκελὲς λινοῦν ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ χρωτὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ζώνῃ λινῇ ζώσεται καὶ κίδαριν λινῆν περιθήσεται ἱμάτια ἅγιά ἐστιν καὶ λούσεται ὕδατι πᾶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνδύσεται αὐτά
Tunica linea vestietur , feminalibus lineis verenda celabit : accingetur zona linea , cidarim lineam imponet capiti : haec enim vestimenta sunt sancta : quibus cunctis , cum lotus fuerit , induetur .
ወልብሰ ፡ ዐጌ ፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ ይልበስ ፡ ወቃሰ ፡ ዘዐጌ ፡ ይደይ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ ወቅናተ ፡ ዘዐጌ ፡ ይቅነት ፡ ወልብሰ ፡ ዐጌ ፡ ዘቂዳርን ፡ ይልበስ ፡ እስመ ፡ አልባስ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወተኀፂቦ ፡ በማይ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ ይልበሶሙ ።
He shall put on the holy linen tunic. He shall have the linen trousers on his body, and shall put on the linen sash, and he shall be clothed with the linen turban. They are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water, and put them on.
16:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמֵאֵ֗ת עֲדַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יִקַּ֛ח שְׁנֵֽי ־שְׂעִירֵ֥י עִזִּ֖ים לְחַטָּ֑את וְאַ֥יִל אֶחָ֖ד לְעֹלָֽה ׃
καὶ παρὰ τῆς συναγωγῆς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ λήμψεται δύο χιμάρους ἐξ αἰγῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ κριὸν ἕνα εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα
Suscipietque ab universa multitudine filiorum Israël duos hircos pro peccato , et unum arietem in holocaustum .
እምውስተ ፡ ተዓይኖሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ይንሣእ ፡ ክልኤተ ፡ ሐራጊተ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ አጣሊ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ወበግዐ ፡ አሐደ ፡ ለመሥዋዕት ።
He shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
16:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִקְרִ֧יב אַהֲרֹ֛ן אֶת ־פַּ֥ר הַחַטָּ֖את אֲשֶׁר ־ל֑וֹ וְכִפֶּ֥ר בַּעֲד֖וֹ וּבְעַ֥ד בֵּיתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ προσάξει Ααρων τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ
Cumque obtulerit vitulum , et oraverit pro se et pro domo sua ,
ወያበውእ ፡ አሮን ፡ ላህመ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአቱ ፡ ወያስተሰሪ ፡ ለርእሱ ፡ ወለቤቱ ።
“Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.
16:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַ֖ח אֶת ־שְׁנֵ֣י הַשְּׂעִירִ֑ם וְהֶעֱמִ֤יד אֹתָם֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד ׃
καὶ λήμψεται τοὺς δύο χιμάρους καὶ στήσει αὐτοὺς ἔναντι κυρίου παρὰ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
duos hircos stare faciet coram Domino in ostio tabernaculi testimonii :
ወእምዝ ፡ ያስተሰሪ ፡ በእልክቱ ፡ ክልኤቱ ፡ ሐራጊት ፡ ወያቀውሞሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ።
He shall take the two goats, and set them before Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
16:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַ֧ן אַהֲרֹ֛ן עַל ־שְׁנֵ֥י הַשְּׂעִירִ֖ם גֹּרָל֑וֹת גּוֹרָ֤ל אֶחָד֙ לַיהֹוָ֔ה וְגוֹרָ֥ל אֶחָ֖ד לַעֲזָאזֵֽל ׃
καὶ ἐπιθήσει Ααρων ἐπὶ τοὺς δύο χιμάρους κλῆρον ἕνα τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ κλῆρον ἕνα τῷ ἀποπομπαίῳ
mittensque super utrumque sortem , unam Domino , alteram capro emissario :
ወይወዲ ፡ አሮን ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ክልኤሆሙ ፡ ሐራጊት ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ዘቦቱ ፡ ያስተዓፁ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ዕፅ ፡ ዘእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአሐዱ ፡ ዕፅ ፡ ለዘ ፡ አብአ ።
Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for Yahweh, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
16:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִקְרִ֤יב אַהֲרֹן֙ אֶת ־הַשָּׂעִ֔יר אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָלָ֥ה עָלָ֛יו הַגּוֹרָ֖ל לַיהֹוָ֑ה וְעָשָׂ֖הוּ חַטָּֽאת ׃
καὶ προσάξει Ααρων τὸν χίμαρον ἐφ’ ὃν ἐπῆλθεν ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ὁ κλῆρος τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ προσοίσει περὶ ἁμαρτίας
cujus exierit sors Domino , offeret illum pro peccato :
ወያመጽኦ ፡ አሮን ፡ ለሐርጌ ፡ ዘወድቀ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወያበውኦ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ።
Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for Yahweh, and offer him for a sin offering.
16:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַשָּׂעִ֗יר אֲשֶׁר֩ עָלָ֨ה עָלָ֤יו הַגּוֹרָל֙ לַעֲזָאזֵ֔ל יׇֽעֳמַד ־חַ֛י לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה לְכַפֵּ֣ר עָלָ֑יו לְשַׁלַּ֥ח אֹת֛וֹ לַעֲזָאזֵ֖ל הַמִּדְבָּֽרָה ׃
καὶ τὸν χίμαρον ἐφ’ ὃν ἐπῆλθεν ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ὁ κλῆρος τοῦ ἀποπομπαίου στήσει αὐτὸν ζῶντα ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ ἐξιλάσασθαι ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ ὥστε ἀποστεῖλαι αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἀποπομπήν ἀφήσει αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον
cujus autem in caprum emissarium , statuet eum vivum coram Domino , ut fundat preces super eo , et emittat eum in solitudinem .
ወሐርጌሰ ፡ ዘወድቀ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ ዘአምጽአ ፡ ያቀውሞ ፡ ሕያዎ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተስሪ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይፈንዎ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ያግዕዝዎ ፡ ወየኀድግዎ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳም ።
But the goat on which the lot fell for the scapegoat shall be presented alive before Yahweh, to make atonement for him, to send him away as the scapegoat into the wilderness.
16:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִקְרִ֨יב אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת ־פַּ֤ר הַֽחַטָּאת֙ אֲשֶׁר ־ל֔וֹ וְכִפֶּ֥ר בַּֽעֲד֖וֹ וּבְעַ֣ד בֵּית֑וֹ וְשָׁחַ֛ט אֶת ־פַּ֥ר הַֽחַטָּ֖את אֲשֶׁר ־לֽוֹ ׃
καὶ προσάξει Ααρων τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ μόνον καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ σφάξει τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὸν αὐτοῦ
His rite celebratis , offeret vitulum , et rogans pro se , et pro domo sua , immolabit eum :
ወያበውእ ፡ አሮን ፡ ላህመ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአቱ ፡ ወያስተሰሪ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወለቤቱ ፡ ወይጠብሖ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ላህም ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአቱ ።
“Aaron shall present the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.
16:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַ֣ח מְלֹֽא ־הַ֠מַּחְתָּ֠ה גַּֽחֲלֵי ־אֵ֞שׁ מֵעַ֤ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה וּמְלֹ֣א חׇפְנָ֔יו קְטֹ֥רֶת סַמִּ֖ים דַּקָּ֑ה וְהֵבִ֖יא מִבֵּ֥ית לַפָּרֹֽכֶת ׃
καὶ λήμψεται τὸ πυρεῖον πλῆρες ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τοῦ ἀπέναντι κυρίου καὶ πλήσει τὰς χεῖρας θυμιάματος συνθέσεως λεπτῆς καὶ εἰσοίσει ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος
assumptoque thuribulo , quod de prunis altaris impleverit , et hauriens manu compositum thymiama in incensum , ultra velum intrabit in sancta :
ወይነሥእ ፡ ማዕጠንተ ፡ ወይመልእ ፡ እሳተ ፡ እምፍሕም ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ዘቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይመልእ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ እምነ ፡ ዕጣን ፡ ዘዕዩን ፡ ዘድቁቅ ፡ ወያበውእ ፡ ውስጠ ፡ እምነ ፡ መንጦላዕት ።
He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Yahweh, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil.
16:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַ֧ן אֶֽת ־הַקְּטֹ֛רֶת עַל ־הָאֵ֖שׁ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וְכִסָּ֣ה ׀ עֲנַ֣ן הַקְּטֹ֗רֶת אֶת ־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל ־הָעֵד֖וּת וְלֹ֥א יָמֽוּת ׃
καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὸ θυμίαμα ἐπὶ τὸ πῦρ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ καλύψει ἡ ἀτμὶς τοῦ θυμιάματος τὸ ἱλαστήριον τὸ ἐπὶ τῶν μαρτυρίων καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται
ut , positis super ignem aromatibus , nebula eorum et vapor operiat oraculum quod est supra testimonium , et non moriatur .
ወይወዲ ፡ ውእተ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ውስተ ፡ [ማዕጠንት ፡] ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይከድን ፡ ጢሱ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ምሥሃለ ፡ ዘዲበ ፡ ታቦት ፡ ወኢይመውት ።
He shall put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the covenant, so that he will not die.
16:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַח֙ מִדַּ֣ם הַפָּ֔ר וְהִזָּ֧ה בְאֶצְבָּע֛וֹ עַל ־פְּנֵ֥י הַכַּפֹּ֖רֶת קֵ֑דְמָה וְלִפְנֵ֣י הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת יַזֶּ֧ה שֶֽׁבַע ־פְּעָמִ֛ים מִן ־הַדָּ֖ם בְּאֶצְבָּעֽוֹ ׃
καὶ λήμψεται ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ μόσχου καὶ ῥανεῖ τῷ δακτύλῳ ἐπὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον κατὰ ἀνατολάς κατὰ πρόσωπον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου ῥανεῖ ἑπτάκις ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τῷ δακτύλῳ
Tollet quoque de sanguine vituli , et asperget digito septies contra propitiatorium ad orientem .
ወይነሥእ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ደሙ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ላህም ፡ ወይነዝኅ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥሃል ፡ ለመንገለ ፡ ሠርቁ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገጹ ፡ ለምሥሃል ፡ ይነዝኅ ፡ ስብዕ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ደም ፡ በአጽባዕቱ ።
He shall take some of the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.
16:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשָׁחַ֞ט אֶת ־שְׂעִ֤יר הַֽחַטָּאת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָעָ֔ם וְהֵבִיא֙ אֶת ־דָּמ֔וֹ אֶל ־מִבֵּ֖ית לַפָּרֹ֑כֶת וְעָשָׂ֣ה אֶת ־דָּמ֗וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ לְדַ֣ם הַפָּ֔ר וְהִזָּ֥ה אֹת֛וֹ עַל ־הַכַּפֹּ֖רֶת וְלִפְנֵ֥י הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת ׃
καὶ σφάξει τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὸν περὶ τοῦ λαοῦ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ εἰσοίσει ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ ἐσώτερον τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ ποιήσει τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ὃν τρόπον ἐποίησεν τὸ αἷμα τοῦ μόσχου καὶ ῥανεῖ τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον κατὰ πρόσωπον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου
Cumque mactaverit hircum pro peccato populi , inferet sanguinem ejus intra velum , sicut praeceptum est de sanguine vituli , ut aspergat e regione oraculi ,
ወይጠብሕ ፡ ሐርጌ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአተ ፡ ዘእምኀበ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወያበውእ ፡ እምነ ፡ ደሙ ፡ ውስጠ ፡ እምነ ፡ መንጦላዕት ፡ ወይገብሮ ፡ ለደሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ገብረ ፡ ደመ ፡ ላህም ፡ ወይነዝኅ ፡ እምነ ፡ ደሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥሃል ፡ መንገለ ፡ ገጹ ፡ ለምሥሃል ።
“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.
16:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכִפֶּ֣ר עַל ־הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ מִטֻּמְאֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמִפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖ם לְכׇל ־חַטֹּאתָ֑ם וְכֵ֤ן יַעֲשֶׂה֙ לְאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד הַשֹּׁכֵ֣ן אִתָּ֔ם בְּת֖וֹךְ טֻמְאֹתָֽם ׃
καὶ ἐξιλάσεται τὸ ἅγιον ἀπὸ τῶν ἀκαθαρσιῶν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀδικημάτων αὐτῶν περὶ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν καὶ οὕτω ποιήσει τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου τῇ ἐκτισμένῃ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτῶν
et expiet sanctuarium ab immunditiis filiorum Israël , et a praevaricationibus eorum , cunctisque peccatis . Juxta hunc ritum faciet tabernaculo testimonii , quod fixum est inter eos , in medio sordium habitationis eorum .
ወያስተሰሪ ፡ በቅዱስ ፡ እምነ ፡ ርኵሶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ዐመፃሆሙ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኀጣይኢሆሙ ፡ ወከመዝ ፡ ይገብር ፡ ለደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ እንተ ፡ ተገብረት ፡ ውስቴቶሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ርኵሶሙ ።
He shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting that dwells with them in the middle of their uncleanness.
16:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכׇל ־אָדָ֞ם לֹא ־יִהְיֶ֣ה ׀ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֗ד בְּבֹא֛וֹ לְכַפֵּ֥ר בַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁ עַד ־צֵאת֑וֹ וְכִפֶּ֤ר בַּעֲדוֹ֙ וּבְעַ֣ד בֵּית֔וֹ וּבְעַ֖ד כׇּל ־קְהַ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ πᾶς ἄνθρωπος οὐκ ἔσται ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου εἰσπορευομένου αὐτοῦ ἐξιλάσασθαι ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθῃ καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ περὶ πάσης συναγωγῆς υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Nullus hominum sit in tabernaculo , quando pontifex sanctuarium ingreditur , ut roget pro se , et pro domo sua , et pro universo coetu Israël , donec egrediatur .
ወአልቦ ፡ ዘየሀሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወኢመኑ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተስሪ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘየሀሉ ፡ እስከ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ ወያስተሰሪ ፡ ለርእሱ ፡ ወለቤቱ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ተዓይኖሙ ፡ ለእስራኤል ።
No one shall be in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel.
16:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיָצָ֗א אֶל ־הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִפְנֵֽי ־יְהֹוָ֖ה וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלָ֑יו וְלָקַ֞ח מִדַּ֤ם הַפָּר֙ וּמִדַּ֣ם הַשָּׂעִ֔יר וְנָתַ֛ן עַל ־קַרְנ֥וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב ׃
καὶ ἐξελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὸ ὂν ἀπέναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσεται ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ λήμψεται ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ μόσχου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ χιμάρου καὶ ἐπιθήσει ἐπὶ τὰ κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου κύκλῳ
Cum autem exierit ad altare quod coram Domino est , oret pro se , et sumptum sanguinem vituli atque hirci fundat super cornua ejus per gyrum :
ወይወፅእ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወያስተሰሪ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ወይነሥእ ፡ እምነ ፡ ደም ፡ ዘላህም ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ደም ፡ ዘሐርጌ ፡ ወይወዲ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አቅርንቲሁ ፡ ለምሥዋዕ ፡ ወስተ ፡ ዐውዶሙ ።
“He shall go out to the altar that is before Yahweh and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the bull’s blood, and some of the goat’s blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar.
16:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִזָּ֨ה עָלָ֧יו מִן ־הַדָּ֛ם בְּאֶצְבָּע֖וֹ שֶׁ֣בַע פְּעָמִ֑ים וְטִהֲר֣וֹ וְקִדְּשׁ֔וֹ מִטֻּמְאֹ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ῥανεῖ ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τῷ δακτύλῳ ἑπτάκις καὶ καθαριεῖ αὐτὸ καὶ ἁγιάσει αὐτὸ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀκαθαρσιῶν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
aspergensque digito septies , expiet , et sanctificet illud ab immunditiis filiorum Israël .
ወይነዝኅ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ደም ፡ በአጽባዕቱ ፡ ስብዕ ፡ ወያነጽሕ ፡ ወይቄድስ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ርኵሶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
16:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכִלָּה֙ מִכַּפֵּ֣ר אֶת ־הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְאֶת ־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וְאֶת ־הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְהִקְרִ֖יב אֶת ־הַשָּׂעִ֥יר הֶחָֽי ׃
καὶ συντελέσει ἐξιλασκόμενος τὸ ἅγιον καὶ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ περὶ τῶν ἱερέων καθαριεῖ καὶ προσάξει τὸν χίμαρον τὸν ζῶντα
Postquam emundaverit sanctuarium , et tabernaculum , et altare , tunc offerat hircum viventem :
ወይፌጽም ፡ አስተስርዮ ፡ በቅዱስ ፡ ወበደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወበምሥዋዕ ፡ ወያነጽሕ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ካህናትኒ ፡ ወያመጽእ ፡ ሐርጌ ፡ ዘሕያው ።
“When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat.
16:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְסָמַ֨ךְ אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת ־שְׁתֵּ֣י יָדָ֗ו עַ֣ל רֹ֣אשׁ הַשָּׂעִיר֮ הַחַי֒ וְהִתְוַדָּ֣ה עָלָ֗יו אֶת ־כׇּל ־עֲוֺנֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת ־כׇּל ־פִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖ם לְכׇל ־חַטֹּאתָ֑ם וְנָתַ֤ן אֹתָם֙ עַל ־רֹ֣אשׁ הַשָּׂעִ֔יר וְשִׁלַּ֛ח בְּיַד ־אִ֥ישׁ עִתִּ֖י הַמִּדְבָּֽרָה ׃
καὶ ἐπιθήσει Ααρων τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ χιμάρου τοῦ ζῶντος καὶ ἐξαγορεύσει ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ πάσας τὰς ἀνομίας τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ πάσας τὰς ἀδικίας αὐτῶν καὶ πάσας τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπιθήσει αὐτὰς ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ χιμάρου τοῦ ζῶντος καὶ ἐξαποστελεῖ ἐν χειρὶ ἀνθρώπου ἑτοίμου εἰς τὴν ἔρημον
et posita utraque manu super caput ejus , confiteatur omnes iniquitates filiorum Israël , et universa delicta atque peccata eorum : quae imprecans capiti ejus , emittet illum per hominem paratum , in desertum .
ወይወዲ ፡ አሮን ፡ ክልኤሆን ፡ እደዊሁ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ርእሱ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ሐርጌ ፡ ዘሕያው ፡ ወይትናሐይ ፡ በላዕሌሁ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ኀጣይኦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዐመፃሆሙ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ አበሳሆሙ ፡ ወይወዲ ፡ (እደዊሁ ፡) ላዕለ ፡ ርእሱ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ሐርጌ ፡ ዘሕያው ፡ ወይፌንዎ ፡ ሐቅለ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘተረስየ ።
Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is ready.
16:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָשָׂ֨א הַשָּׂעִ֥יר עָלָ֛יו אֶת ־כׇּל ־עֲוֺנֹתָ֖ם אֶל ־אֶ֣רֶץ גְּזֵרָ֑ה וְשִׁלַּ֥ח אֶת ־הַשָּׂעִ֖יר בַּמִּדְבָּֽר ׃
καὶ λήμψεται ὁ χίμαρος ἐφ’ ἑαυτῷ τὰς ἀδικίας αὐτῶν εἰς γῆν ἄβατον καὶ ἐξαποστελεῖ τὸν χίμαρον εἰς τὴν ἔρημον
Cumque portaverit hircus omnes iniquitates eorum in terram solitariam , et dimissus fuerit in deserto ,
ወይነሥእ ፡ ዝክቱ ፡ ሐርጌ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ርእሱ ፡ ኀጣይኦሙ ፡ ወየኀድጎ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ ሐርጌ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ በድው ፡ ኀበ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ዕፀ ።
The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.
16:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבָ֤א אַהֲרֹן֙ אֶל ־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּפָשַׁט֙ אֶת ־בִּגְדֵ֣י הַבָּ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָבַ֖שׁ בְּבֹא֣וֹ אֶל ־הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְהִנִּיחָ֖ם שָֽׁם ׃
καὶ εἰσελεύσεται Ααρων εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐκδύσεται τὴν στολὴν τὴν λινῆν ἣν ἐνεδεδύκει εἰσπορευομένου αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἅγιον καὶ ἀποθήσει αὐτὴν ἐκεῖ
revertetur Aaron in tabernaculum testimonii , et depositis vestibus , quibus prius indutus erat , cum intraret sanctuarium , relictisque ibi ,
ወይበውእ ፡ አሮን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወያነብር ፡ አልባሰ ፡ ዘላዕሌሁ ፡ ዘዐጌ ፡ ዘለብሰ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ለበዊእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ወያነብሮ ፡ ህየ ።
“Aaron shall come into the Tent of Meeting, and shall take off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and shall leave them there.
16:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְרָחַ֨ץ אֶת ־בְּשָׂר֤וֹ בַמַּ֙יִם֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָד֔וֹשׁ וְלָבַ֖שׁ אֶת ־בְּגָדָ֑יו וְיָצָ֗א וְעָשָׂ֤ה אֶת ־עֹֽלָתוֹ֙ וְאֶת ־עֹלַ֣ת הָעָ֔ם וְכִפֶּ֥ר בַּעֲד֖וֹ וּבְעַ֥ד הָעָֽם ׃
καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ὕδατι ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ καὶ ἐνδύσεται τὴν στολὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξελθὼν ποιήσει τὸ ὁλοκάρπωμα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὸ ὁλοκάρπωμα τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ περὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ περὶ τοῦ λαοῦ ὡς περὶ τῶν ἱερέων
lavabit carnem suam in loco sancto , indueturque vestibus suis . Et postquam egressus obtulerit holocaustum suum , ac plebis , rogabit tam pro se quam pro populo :
ወይትኀፀብ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ በማይ ፡ በመካን ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ወይለብስ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወወፂኦ ፡ ይገብር ፡ መሥዋዕቶ ፡ ወመሥዋዕተ ፡ ሕዝብኒ ፡ ወያስተሰሪ ፡ ለርእሱ ፡ ወለቤቱ ፡ ወለሕዝብኒ ፡ በከመ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ካህናት ።
Then he shall bathe himself in water in a holy place, put on his garments, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.
16:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֛ת חֵ֥לֶב הַֽחַטָּ֖את יַקְטִ֥יר הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה ׃
καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ περὶ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ἀνοίσει ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον
et adipem , qui oblatus est pro peccatis , adolebit super altare .
ወሥብሐ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ይወድዮ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምሥዋዕ ።
The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar.
16:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַֽמְשַׁלֵּ֤חַ אֶת ־הַשָּׂעִיר֙ לַֽעֲזָאזֵ֔ל יְכַבֵּ֣ס בְּגָדָ֔יו וְרָחַ֥ץ אֶת ־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ בַּמָּ֑יִם וְאַחֲרֵי ־כֵ֖ן יָב֥וֹא אֶל ־הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה ׃
καὶ ὁ ἐξαποστέλλων τὸν χίμαρον τὸν διεσταλμένον εἰς ἄφεσιν πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ὕδατι καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν
Ille vero , qui dimiserit caprum emissarium , lavabit vestimenta sua , et corpus aqua , et sic ingredietur in castra .
ወዝክቱ ፡ ዘአውፅኦ ፡ ለሐርጌ ፡ ዘፈለጡ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያግዕዙ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሰሁ ፡ ወይትኀፀብ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ በማይ ፡ ወእምዝ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
“He who lets the goat go as the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
16:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵת֩ פַּ֨ר הַֽחַטָּ֜את וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׂעִ֣יר הַֽחַטָּ֗את אֲשֶׁ֨ר הוּבָ֤א אֶת ־דָּמָם֙ לְכַפֵּ֣ר בַּקֹּ֔דֶשׁ יוֹצִ֖יא אֶל ־מִח֣וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וְשָׂרְפ֣וּ בָאֵ֔שׁ אֶת ־עֹרֹתָ֥ם וְאֶת ־בְּשָׂרָ֖ם וְאֶת ־פִּרְשָֽׁם ׃
καὶ τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ὧν τὸ αἷμα εἰσηνέχθη ἐξιλάσασθαι ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ ἐξοίσουσιν αὐτὰ ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς καὶ κατακαύσουσιν αὐτὰ ἐν πυρί καὶ τὰ δέρματα αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ κρέα αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν κόπρον αὐτῶν
Vitulum autem , et hircum , qui pro peccato fuerant immolati , et quorum sanguis illatus est in sanctuarium , ut expiatio compleretur , asportabunt foras castra , et comburent igni tam pelles quam carnes eorum , ac fimum :
ወላህምኒ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአት ፡ ወሐርጌኒ ፡ ዘበእንተ ፡ ኀጢአትኒ ፡ ዘአብኡ ፡ ደሞሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተስርዩ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ያወፅእዎሙ ፡ አፍአ ፡ እምትዕይንት ፡ ወያውዕይዎሙ ፡ በእሳት ፡ ወአምእስቲሆሙኒ ፡ ወሥጋሆሙኒ ፡ ወካዕሴሆሙኒ ።
The bull for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp; and they shall burn their skins, their flesh, and their dung with fire.
16:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַשֹּׂרֵ֣ף אֹתָ֔ם יְכַבֵּ֣ס בְּגָדָ֔יו וְרָחַ֥ץ אֶת ־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ בַּמָּ֑יִם וְאַחֲרֵי ־כֵ֖ן יָב֥וֹא אֶל ־הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה ׃
ὁ δὲ κατακαίων αὐτὰ πλυνεῖ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ λούσεται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ὕδατι καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν
et quicumque combusserit ea , lavabit vestimenta sua et carnem aqua , et sic ingredietur in castra .
ወዝክቱ ፡ ዘአውዐዮሙ ፡ የኀፅብ ፡ አልባሲሁ ፡ ወይትኀፀብ ፡ ሥጋሁ ፡ በማይ ፡ ወእምዝ ፡ ይበውእ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
He who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
16:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיְתָ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לְחֻקַּ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַ֠שְּׁבִיעִ֠י בֶּֽעָשׂ֨וֹר לַחֹ֜דֶשׁ תְּעַנּ֣וּ אֶת ־נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֗ם וְכׇל ־מְלָאכָה֙ לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֔וּ הָֽאֶזְרָ֔ח וְהַגֵּ֖ר הַגָּ֥ר בְּתוֹכְכֶֽם ׃
καὶ ἔσται τοῦτο ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς ταπεινώσατε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν καὶ πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε ὁ αὐτόχθων καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος ὁ προσκείμενος ἐν ὑμῖν
Eritque vobis hoc legitimum sempiternum : mense septimo , decima die mensis , affligetis animas vestras , nullumque opus facietis , sive indigena , sive advena qui peregrinatur inter vos .
ወዝንቱ ፡ ሕገ ፡ ይኩንክሙ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወበሳብዕ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ አመ ፡ ዐሡሩ ፡ ለሠርቅ ፡ አሕምምዋ ፡ ለነፍስክሙ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ኢትግበሩ ፡ ዘእምፍጥረቱኒ ፡ ወዘግዩርኒ ፡ ወዘሀለወኒ ፡ ኀቤክሙ ።
“It shall be a statute to you forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and shall do no kind of work, whether native-born or a stranger who lives as a foreigner among you;
16:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־בַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֛ה יְכַפֵּ֥ר עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם לְטַהֵ֣ר אֶתְכֶ֑ם מִכֹּל֙ חַטֹּ֣אתֵיכֶ֔ם לִפְנֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה תִּטְהָֽרוּ ׃
ἐν γὰρ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ ὑμῶν καθαρίσαι ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὑμῶν ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ καθαρισθήσεσθε
In hac die expiatio erit vestri , atque mundatio ab omnibus peccatis vestris : coram Domino mundabimini .
እስመ ፡ በይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ያስተሰሪ ፡ በእንቲአክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያንጽሕክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ኀጣይእክሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወትነጽሑ ።
for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you. You shall be clean from all your sins before Yahweh.
16:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ שַׁבַּ֨ת שַׁבָּת֥וֹן הִיא֙ לָכֶ֔ם וְעִנִּיתֶ֖ם אֶת ־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑ם חֻקַּ֖ת עוֹלָֽם ׃
σάββατα σαββάτων ἀνάπαυσις αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ ταπεινώσετε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν νόμιμον αἰώνιον
Sabbatum enim requietionis est , et affligetis animas vestras religione perpetua .
እስመ ፡ ሰንበተ ፡ ሰናብት ፡ ይእቲ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ወአሕምምዋ ፡ ለነፍስክሙ ፡ ወሕግ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ዘለዓለም ።
It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever.
16:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכִפֶּ֨ר הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֲשֶׁר ־יִמְשַׁ֣ח אֹת֗וֹ וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר יְמַלֵּא֙ אֶת ־יָד֔וֹ לְכַהֵ֖ן תַּ֣חַת אָבִ֑יו וְלָבַ֛שׁ אֶת ־בִּגְדֵ֥י הַבָּ֖ד בִּגְדֵ֥י הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ ׃
ἐξιλάσεται ὁ ἱερεύς ὃν ἂν χρίσωσιν αὐτὸν καὶ ὃν ἂν τελειώσουσιν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἱερατεύειν μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνδύσεται τὴν στολὴν τὴν λινῆν στολὴν ἁγίαν
Expiabit autem sacerdos , qui unctus fuerit , et cujus manus initiatae sunt ut sacerdotio fungatur pro patre suo : indueturque stola linea et vestibus sanctis ,
ወያስተሰሪ ፡ ካህን ፡ ዘቀብእዎ ፡ ወዘፈጸሙ ፡ እደዊሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኩን ፡ ካህነ ፡ እምድኅረ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ወይለብስ ፡ አልባሰ ፡ ዐጌ ፡ አልባሰ ፡ ቅድሳት ።
The priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be priest in his father’s place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments.
16:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכִפֶּר֙ אֶת ־מִקְדַּ֣שׁ הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְאֶת ־אֹ֧הֶל מוֹעֵ֛ד וְאֶת ־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ יְכַפֵּ֑ר וְעַ֧ל הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים וְעַל ־כׇּל ־עַ֥ם הַקָּהָ֖ל יְכַפֵּֽר ׃
καὶ ἐξιλάσεται τὸ ἅγιον τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐξιλάσεται καὶ περὶ τῶν ἱερέων καὶ περὶ πάσης συναγωγῆς ἐξιλάσεται
et expiabit sanctuarium et tabernaculum testimonii atque altare , sacerdotes quoque et universum populum .
ወያስተሰሪ ፡ በቅዱሰ ፡ ቅዱሳን ፡ ወበደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወበምሥዋዕ ፡ ያስተሰሪ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ካህናትኒ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ ያስተሰሪ ።
Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.
16:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָֽיְתָה ־זֹּ֨את לָכֶ֜ם לְחֻקַּ֣ת עוֹלָ֗ם לְכַפֵּ֞ר עַל ־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִכׇּל ־חַטֹּאתָ֔ם אַחַ֖ת בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה וַיַּ֕עַשׂ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת ־מֹשֶֽׁה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἔσται τοῦτο ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ποιηθήσεται καθάπερ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
Eritque vobis hoc legitimum sempiternum , ut oretis pro filiis Israël , et pro cunctis peccatis eorum semel in anno . Fecit igitur sicut praeceperat Dominus Moysi .
ወዝንቱ ፡ ሕግ ፡ ይኩንክሙ ፡ ዘለዓለም ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተስሪ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኀጣይኢሆሙ ፡ ወምዕረ ፡ ለዓመት ፡ ይገብሮ ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ።
“This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as Yahweh commanded Moses.
