4:1
וְאַתָּ֤ה בֶן־אָדָם֙ קַח־לְךָ֣ לְבֵנָ֔ה וְנָתַתָּ֥ה אוֹתָ֖הּ לְפָנֶ֑יךָ וְחַקּוֹתָ֥ עָלֶ֛יהָ עִ֖יר אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ σεαυτῷ πλίνθον καὶ θήσεις αὐτὴν πρὸ προσώπου σου καὶ διαγράψεις ἐπ’ αὐτὴν πόλιν τὴν Ιερουσαλημ
Et tu, fili hominis, sume tibi laterem, et pones eum coram te, et describes in eo civitatem Jerusalem.
ወአንተኒ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ንሣእ፡ ለከ፡ ግንፋለ፡ ወአንበሮ፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጽከ፡ ወሠዐል፡ ውስቴቱ፡ ሀገረ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።
“You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before yourself, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem.
4:2
וְנָתַתָּ֨ה עָלֶ֜יהָ מָצ֗וֹר וּבָנִ֤יתָ עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ דָּיֵ֔ק וְשָׁפַכְתָּ֥ עָלֶ֖יהָ סֹלְלָ֑ה וְנָתַתָּ֨ה עָלֶ֧יהָ מַחֲנ֛וֹת וְשִׂים־עָלֶ֥יהָ כָּרִ֖ים סָבִֽיב׃
καὶ δώσεις ἐπ’ αὐτὴν περιοχὴν καὶ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐπ’ αὐτὴν προμαχῶνας καὶ περιβαλεῖς ἐπ’ αὐτὴν χάρακα καὶ δώσεις ἐπ’ αὐτὴν παρεμβολὰς καὶ τάξεις τὰς βελοστάσεις κύκλῳ
Et ordinabis adversus eam obsidionem, et aedificabis munitiones, et comportabis aggerem, et dabis contra eam castra, et pones arietes in gyro.
ምስለ፡ ጥቅማ፡ ወተሐንጽ፡ ውስቴታ፡ ኀበ፡ ይትቃተሉ፡ ወተሐፅራ፡ በተዓይን፡ ወትፌኑ፡ አሕፃ፡ ዘይትቃተል፡ ዐውዳ።
Lay siege against it, build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it. Also set camps against it and plant battering rams against it all around.
4:3
וְאַתָּ֤ה קַח־לְךָ֙ מַחֲבַ֣ת בַּרְזֶ֔ל וְנָתַתָּ֤ה אוֹתָהּ֙ קִ֣יר בַּרְזֶ֔ל בֵּינְךָ֖ וּבֵ֣ין הָעִ֑יר וַהֲכִינֹתָה֩ אֶת־פָּנֶ֨יךָ אֵלֶ֜יהָ וְהָיְתָ֤ה בַמָּצוֹר֙ וְצַרְתָּ֣ עָלֶ֔יהָ א֥וֹת הִ֖יא לְבֵ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
καὶ σὺ λαβὲ σεαυτῷ τήγανον σιδηροῦν καὶ θήσεις αὐτὸ τοῖχον σιδηροῦν ἀνὰ μέσον σοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἑτοιμάσεις τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπ’ αὐτήν καὶ ἔσται ἐν συγκλεισμῷ καὶ συγκλείσεις αὐτήν σημεῖόν ἐστιν τοῦτο τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ
Et tu sume tibi sartaginem ferream, et pones eam in murum ferreum inter te et inter civitatem : et obfirmabis faciem tuam ad eam, et erit in obsidionem, et circumdabis eam : signum est domui Israël.
ወንሣእ፡ ለከ፡ ጤገነ፡ ኃፂን፡ ወትሬስዮ፡ አረፍተ፡ ኃፂን፡ ማእከሌከ፡ ወማእከለ፡ ሀገር፡ ወይመይጥ፡ ገጸከ፡ ኀቤሃ፡ ወትትዐገት፡ ወተዐግታ፡ ወዝንቱ፡ ትእምርት፡ ለደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል።
Take for yourself an iron pan and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. Then set your face toward it. It will be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4:4
וְאַתָּ֤ה שְׁכַב֙ עַל־צִדְּךָ֣ הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔י וְשַׂמְתָּ֛ אֶת־עֲוֺ֥ן בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עָלָ֑יו מִסְפַּ֤ר הַיָּמִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁכַּ֣ב עָלָ֔יו תִּשָּׂ֖א אֶת־עֲוֺנָֽם׃
καὶ σὺ κοιμηθήσῃ ἐπὶ τὸ πλευρόν σου τὸ ἀριστερὸν καὶ θήσεις τὰς ἀδικίας τοῦ οἴκου Ισραηλ ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ κατὰ ἀριθμὸν τῶν ἡμερῶν πεντήκοντα καὶ ἑκατόν ἃς κοιμηθήσῃ ἐπ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ λήμψῃ τὰς ἀδικίας αὐτῶν
Et tu dormies super latus tuum sinistrum, et pones iniquitates domus Israël super eo, numero dierum quibus dormies super illud : et assumes iniquitatem eorum.
ወትሰክብ፡ በገቦከ፡ ዘፀጋም፡ ወታነብር፡ ኃጢአቶሙ፡ ለደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ ውስቴቱ፡ በኍልቈ፡ መዋዕል፡ ዘሰከብከ፡ ወትነሥእ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ።
“Moreover lie on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. According to the number of the days that you shall lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.
4:5
וַאֲנִ֗י נָתַ֤תִּֽי לְךָ֙ אֶת־שְׁנֵ֣י עֲוֺנָ֔ם לְמִסְפַּ֣ר יָמִ֔ים שְׁלֹשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת וְתִשְׁעִ֖ים י֑וֹם וְנָשָׂ֖אתָ עֲוֺ֥ן בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
καὶ ἐγὼ δέδωκά σοι τὰς δύο ἀδικίας αὐτῶν εἰς ἀριθμὸν ἡμερῶν ἐνενήκοντα καὶ ἑκατὸν ἡμέρας καὶ λήμψῃ τὰς ἀδικίας τοῦ οἴκου Ισραηλ
Ego autem dedi tibi annos iniquitatis eorum, numero dierum trecentos et nonaginta dies : et portabis iniquitatem domus Israël.
ወአነ፡ ወሀብኩከ፡ ክልኤሆን፡ ጌጋዮሙ፡ በኍልቈ፡ ውእቱ፡ መዋዕል፡ ፫፻ወ፺፡ ዕለተ፡ ወትንሥእ፡ ኃጢአተ፡ ቤተ፡ እስራኤል።
For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred ninety days. So you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
4:6
וְכִלִּיתָ֣ אֶת־אֵ֗לֶּה וְשָׁ֨כַבְתָּ֜ עַֽל־צִדְּךָ֤ (הימיני) [הַיְמָנִי֙] שֵׁנִ֔ית וְנָשָׂ֖אתָ אֶת־עֲוֺ֣ן בֵּית־יְהוּדָ֑ה אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם י֧וֹם לַשָּׁנָ֛ה י֥וֹם לַשָּׁנָ֖ה נְתַתִּ֥יו לָֽךְ׃
καὶ συντελέσεις ταῦτα πάντα καὶ κοιμηθήσῃ ἐπὶ τὸ πλευρόν σου τὸ δεξιὸν καὶ λήμψῃ τὰς ἀδικίας τοῦ οἴκου Ιουδα τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας ἡμέραν εἰς ἐνιαυτὸν τέθεικά σοι
Et cum compleveris haec, dormies super latus tuum dexterum secundo, et assumes iniquitatem domus Juda quadraginta diebus : diem pro anno, diem, inquam, pro anno, dedi tibi.
ወፈጺመከ፡ ዘንተ፡ ትሰክብ፡ በገቦከ፡ ዘየማን፡ ወትንሥእ፡ ኃጢአተ፡ ቤተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ፵ዕለተ፡ ወረሰይኩ፡ ለከ፡ ዕለተ፡ ከመ፡ ዓመት።
“Again, when you have accomplished these, you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah. I have appointed forty days, each day for a year, to you.
4:7
וְאֶל־מְצ֤וֹר יְרוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ תָּכִ֣ין פָּנֶ֔יךָ וּֽזְרֹעֲךָ֖ חֲשׂוּפָ֑ה וְנִבֵּאתָ֖ עָלֶֽיהָ׃
καὶ εἰς τὸν συγκλεισμὸν Ιερουσαλημ ἑτοιμάσεις τὸ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ τὸν βραχίονά σου στερεώσεις καὶ προφητεύσεις ἐπ’ αὐτήν
Et ad obsidionem Jerusalem convertes faciem tuam, et brachium tuum erit extentum : et prophetabis adversus eam.
ወታስተዴሉ፡ ገጸከ፡ ለአመ፡ የዐግትዋ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወታጸንዕ፡ መዝራዕተከ፡ ወትትኔበይ፡ ላዕሌሃ።
You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you shall prophesy against it.
4:8
וְהִנֵּ֛ה נָתַ֥תִּי עָלֶ֖יךָ עֲבוֹתִ֑ים וְלֹֽא־תֵהָפֵ֤ךְ מִֽצִּדְּךָ֙ אֶל־צִדֶּ֔ךָ עַד־כַּלּוֹתְךָ֖ יְמֵ֥י מְצוּרֶֽךָ׃
καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ δέδωκα ἐπὶ σὲ δεσμούς καὶ μὴ στραφῇς ἀπὸ τοῦ πλευροῦ σου ἐπὶ τὸ πλευρόν σου ἕως οὗ συντελεσθῶσιν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ συγκλεισμοῦ σου
Ecce circumdedi te vinculis : et non te convertes a latere tuo in latus aliud, donec compleas dies obsidionis tuae.
ወናሁ፡ አአስረከ፡ ከመ፡ ኢትትመየጥ፡ በገቦከ፡ እምገቦከ፡ እስከ፡ የኀልቅ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ዕጽወትከ።
Behold, I put ropes on you, and you shall not turn yourself from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.
4:9
וְאַתָּ֣ה קַח־לְךָ֡ חִטִּ֡ין וּ֠שְׂעֹרִ֠ים וּפ֨וֹל וַעֲדָשִׁ֜ים וְדֹ֣חַן וְכֻסְּמִ֗ים וְנָתַתָּ֤ה אוֹתָם֙ בִּכְלִ֣י אֶחָ֔ד וְעָשִׂ֧יתָ אוֹתָ֛ם לְךָ֖ לְלָ֑חֶם מִסְפַּ֨ר הַיָּמִ֜ים אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֣ה׀ שׁוֹכֵ֣ב עַֽל־צִדְּךָ֗ שְׁלֹשׁ־מֵא֧וֹת וְתִשְׁעִ֛ים י֖וֹם תֹּאכְלֶֽנּוּ׃
καὶ σὺ λαβὲ σεαυτῷ πυροὺς καὶ κριθὰς καὶ κύαμον καὶ φακὸν καὶ κέγχρον καὶ ὄλυραν καὶ ἐμβαλεῖς αὐτὰ εἰς ἄγγος ἓν ὀστράκινον καὶ ποιήσεις αὐτὰ σαυτῷ εἰς ἄρτους καὶ κατ’ ἀριθμὸν τῶν ἡμερῶν ἃς σὺ καθεύδεις ἐπὶ τοῦ πλευροῦ σου ἐνενήκοντα καὶ ἑκατὸν ἡμέρας φάγεσαι αὐτά
Et tu, sume tibi frumentum, et hordeum, et fabam, et lentem, et milium, et viciam : et mittes ea in vas unum, et facies tibi panes numero dierum quibus dormies super latus tuum : trecentis et nonaginta diebus comedes illud.
ወትነሥእ፡ ለከ፡ ስርናየ፡ ወብርስነ፡ ወሰገመ፡ ወዓተረ፡ ወትወድዮ፡ ዲበ፡ ፩ጻሕበ፡ ልሕኵት፡ ወትገብሮሙ፡ ለከ፡ ኅብስተ፡ በኍልቈ፡ ውእቱ፡ መዋዕል፡ ዘትሰክብ፡ በገቦከ፡ ፫፻ወ፺፡ ዕለተ፡ ወትሴሰዮ።
“Take for yourself also wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel. Make bread of it. According to the number of the days that you will lie on your side, even three hundred ninety days, you shall eat of it.
4:10
וּמַאֲכָֽלְךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֹּאכְלֶ֔נּוּ בְּמִשְׁק֕וֹל עֶשְׂרִ֥ים שֶׁ֖קֶל לַיּ֑וֹם מֵעֵ֥ת עַד־עֵ֖ת תֹּאכְלֶֽנּוּ׃
καὶ τὸ βρῶμά σου ὃ φάγεσαι ἐν σταθμῷ εἴκοσι σίκλους τὴν ἡμέραν ἀπὸ καιροῦ ἕως καιροῦ φάγεσαι αὐτά
Cibus autem tuus, quo vesceris, erit in pondere viginti stateres in die : a tempore usque ad tempus comedes illud.
ወዘበላዕከ፡ እክል፡ በመዳልው፡ ፳፡ ሰቅል፡ ለለዕለትከ፡ ሰርከ፡ ሰርከ፡ ትሴሰዮ።
Your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day. From time to time you shall eat it.
4:11
וּמַ֛יִם בִּמְשׂוּרָ֥ה תִשְׁתֶּ֖ה שִׁשִּׁ֣ית הַהִ֑ין מֵעֵ֥ת עַד־עֵ֖ת תִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃
καὶ ὕδωρ ἐν μέτρῳ πίεσαι τὸ ἕκτον τοῦ ιν ἀπὸ καιροῦ ἕως καιροῦ πίεσαι
Et aquam in mensura bibes, sextam partem hin : a tempore usque ad tempus bibes illud.
ወማየ፡ ትሰቲ፡ ፮፡ እዴሃ፡ ለኢን፡ ሰርከ፡ ሰርከ፡ ትሰቲ።
You shall drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin. From time to time you shall drink.
4:12
וְעֻגַ֥ת שְׂעֹרִ֖ים תֹּאכְלֶ֑נָּה וְהִ֗יא בְּגֶֽלְלֵי֙ צֵאַ֣ת הָֽאָדָ֔ם תְּעֻגֶ֖נָה לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐγκρυφίαν κρίθινον φάγεσαι αὐτά ἐν βολβίτοις κόπρου ἀνθρωπίνης ἐγκρύψεις αὐτὰ κατ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν
Et quasi subcinericium hordeaceum comedes illud, et stercore quod egreditur de homine operies illud in oculis eorum.
ወዳፍንተ፡ ሰገም፡ ትሴሰይ፡ ወታበስሎ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵስሐ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወትደፍኖ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ።
You shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.”
4:13
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהֹוָ֔ה כָּ֣כָה יֹאכְל֧וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶת־לַחְמָ֖ם טָמֵ֑א בַּגּוֹיִ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַדִּיחֵ֖ם שָֽׁם׃
καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς τοῦ Ισραηλ οὕτως φάγονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀκάθαρτα ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν
Et dixit Dominus : Sic comedent filii Israël panem suum pollutum inter gentes ad quas ejiciam eos. Et dixi :
ወትብሎሙ፡ ከመዝ፡ ይቤ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ከመዝ፡ ይበልዑ፡ ኵስሖሙ፡ ደቂቀ፡ እስራኤል፡ በውስተ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ዘእዘርዎሙ፡ ህየ።
Yahweh said, “Even thus will the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.”
4:14
וָאֹמַ֗ר אֲהָהּ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה הִנֵּ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י לֹ֣א מְטֻמָּאָ֑ה וּנְבֵלָ֨ה וּטְרֵפָ֤ה לֹא־אָכַ֙לְתִּי֙ מִנְּעוּרַ֣י וְעַד־עַ֔תָּה וְלֹא־בָ֥א בְּפִ֖י בְּשַׂ֥ר פִּגּֽוּל׃ {ס}
καὶ εἶπα μηδαμῶς κύριε θεὲ τοῦ Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἡ ψυχή μου οὐ μεμίανται ἐν ἀκαθαρσίᾳ καὶ θνησιμαῖον καὶ θηριάλωτον οὐ βέβρωκα ἀπὸ γενέσεώς μου ἕως τοῦ νῦν οὐδὲ εἰσελήλυθεν εἰς τὸ στόμα μου πᾶν κρέας ἕωλον
A, a, a, Domine Deus, ecce anima mea non est polluta : et morticinum, et laceratum a bestiis non comedi ab infantia mea usque nunc, et non est ingressa in os meum omnis caro immunda.
ወእቤ፡ ሐሰ፡ ለከ፡ እግዚኦ፡ አምላከ፡ እስራኤል፡ ኢተገመነት፡ ነፍስየ፡ በርኵስ፡ ወበማውታ፡ ወብላዓ፡ አርዌ፡ ኢበላዕኩ፡ እምአመ፡ ተወለድኩ፡ እስከ፡ ይእዜ፡ ወኢቦአ፡ ኵሉ፡ ሥጋ፡ ርኩስ፡ ውስተ፡ አፉየ።
Then I said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals. No abominable meat has come into my mouth!”
4:15
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י רְאֵ֗ה נָתַ֤תִּֽי לְךָ֙ אֶת־[צְפִיעֵ֣י] (צפועי) הַבָּקָ֔ר תַּ֖חַת גֶּלְלֵ֣י הָאָדָ֑ם וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ אֶֽת־לַחְמְךָ֖ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ {ס}
καὶ εἶπεν πρός με ἰδοὺ δέδωκά σοι βόλβιτα βοῶν ἀντὶ τῶν βολβίτων τῶν ἀνθρωπίνων καὶ ποιήσεις τοὺς ἄρτους σου ἐπ’ αὐτῶν
Et dixit ad me : Ecce dedi tibi fimum boum pro stercoribus humanis, et facies panem tuum in eo.
ወይቤለኒ፡ ናሁ፡ ወሀብኩከ፡ ጽፍዓ፡ ላህም፡ ህየንተ፡ ጽፍዓ፡ ሰብእ፡ ወግበር፡ ቦቱ፡ ኅብስተከ።
Then he said to me, “Behold, I have given you cow’s dung for man’s dung, and you shall prepare your bread on it.”
4:16
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י בֶּן־אָדָם֙ הִנְנִ֨י שֹׁבֵ֤ר מַטֵּֽה־לֶ֙חֶם֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם וְאָכְלוּ־לֶ֥חֶם בְּמִשְׁקָ֖ל וּבִדְאָגָ֑ה וּמַ֕יִם בִּמְשׂוּרָ֥ה וּבְשִׁמָּמ֖וֹן יִשְׁתּֽוּ׃
καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ συντρίβω στήριγμα ἄρτου ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ φάγονται ἄρτον ἐν σταθμῷ καὶ ἐν ἐνδείᾳ καὶ ὕδωρ ἐν μέτρῳ καὶ ἐν ἀφανισμῷ πίονται
Et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, ecce ego conteram baculum panis in Jerusalem, et comedent panem in pondere et in sollicitudine, et aquam in mensura et in angustia bibent,
ወይቤለኒ፡ ወልደ፡ እጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ናሁ፡ አጠፍእ፡ እክለ፡ እምኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወይበልዑ፡ ኅብስተ፡ በመዳልው፡ ወይሰትዩ፡ ማዮሙ፡ በመስፈርት፡ ወይሰትዩ፡ ሙሱነ።
Moreover he said to me, “Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem. They will eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness. They will drink water by measure, and in dismay;
4:17
לְמַ֥עַן יַחְסְר֖וּ לֶ֣חֶם וָמָ֑יִם וְנָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ וְאָחִ֔יו וְנָמַ֖קּוּ בַּעֲוֺנָֽם׃ {פ}
ὅπως ἐνδεεῖς γένωνται ἄρτου καὶ ὕδατος καὶ ἀφανισθήσεται ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ τακήσονται ἐν ταῖς ἀδικίαις αὐτῶν
ut deficientibus pane et aqua, corruat unusquisque ad fratrem suum, et contabescant in iniquitatibus suis.
ወይፄነሱ፡ እክለ፡ ወማየ፡ ወይትቃተሉ፡ ቢጽ፡ ምስለ፡ እኁሁ፡ ወይትመሰዉ፡ በኃጢአቶሙ።
that they may lack bread and water, be dismayed one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
