36:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן ־אָדָ֔ם הִנָּבֵ֖א אֶל ־הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ הָרֵי֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר ־יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη Ισραηλ καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ὄρεσιν τοῦ Ισραηλ ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου
Tu autem , fili hominis , propheta super montes Israël , et dices : Montes Israël , audite verbum Domini .
ወአንተ ፡ ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ተነበይ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ለአድባረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ለአድባረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “You mountains of Israel, hear Yahweh’s word.
36:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה יַ֣עַן אָמַ֧ר הָאוֹיֵ֛ב עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם הֶאָ֑ח וּבָמ֣וֹת עוֹלָ֔ם לְמוֹרָשָׁ֖ה הָ֥יְתָה לָּֽנוּ ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἀνθ’ ὧν εἶπεν ὁ ἐχθρὸς ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς εὖγε ἔρημα αἰώνια εἰς κατάσχεσιν ἡμῖν ἐγενήθη
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Eo quod dixerit inimicus de vobis : Euge , altitudines sempiternae in haereditatem datae sunt nobis :
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይቤሉክሙ ፡ ፀርክሙ ፡ እንቋዕ ፡ መዝበሩ ፡ ለዓለም ፡ ወኰነናሆሙ ።
The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Because the enemy has said against you, “Aha!” and, “The ancient high places are ours in possession!”’
36:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵן֙ הִנָּבֵ֣א וְאָמַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה יַ֣עַן בְּיַ֡עַן שַׁמּוֹת֩ וְשָׁאֹ֨ף אֶתְכֶ֜ם מִסָּבִ֗יב לִֽהְיֽוֹתְכֶ֤ם מֽוֹרָשָׁה֙ לִשְׁאֵרִ֣ית הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וַתֵּ֥עֲל֛וּ עַל ־שְׂפַ֥ת לָשׁ֖וֹן וְדִבַּת ־עָֽם ׃
διὰ τοῦτο προφήτευσον καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἀντὶ τοῦ ἀτιμασθῆναι ὑμᾶς καὶ μισηθῆναι ὑμᾶς ὑπὸ τῶν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν τοῦ εἶναι ὑμᾶς εἰς κατάσχεσιν τοῖς καταλοίποις ἔθνεσιν καὶ ἀνέβητε λάλημα γλώσσῃ καὶ εἰς ὀνείδισμα ἔθνεσιν
propterea vaticinare , et dic : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Pro eo quod desolati estis , et conculcati per circuitum , et facti in haereditatem reliquis gentibus , et ascendistis super labium linguae et opprobrium populi ,
በእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ተነበይ ፡ ወበል ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እስመ ፡ አኅሠርሩክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ዐውድክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኰንኑክሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ ወኮንክሙ ፡ ነገረ ፡ ለልሳን ፡ ወጽዕለተ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ።
therefore prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;”
36:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵן֙ הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר ־אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱ֠הֹוִ֠ה לֶהָרִ֨ים וְלַגְּבָע֜וֹת לָאֲפִיקִ֣ים וְלַגֵּאָי֗וֹת וְלֶחֳרָב֤וֹת הַשֹּֽׁמְמוֹת֙ וְלֶעָרִ֣ים הַנֶּעֱזָב֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָי֤וּ לְבַז֙ וּלְלַ֔עַג לִשְׁאֵרִ֥ית הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִסָּבִֽיב ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ὄρη Ισραηλ ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου τάδε λέγει κύριος τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς καὶ ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ τοῖς χειμάρροις καὶ τοῖς ἐξηρημωμένοις καὶ ἠφανισμένοις καὶ ταῖς πόλεσιν ταῖς ἐγκαταλελειμμέναις αἳ ἐγένοντο εἰς προνομὴν καὶ εἰς καταπάτημα τοῖς καταλειφθεῖσιν ἔθνεσιν περικύκλῳ
propterea , montes Israël , audite verbum Domini Dei . Haec dicit Dominus Deus montibus et collibus , torrentibus , vallibusque et desertis , parietinis et urbibus derelictis , quae depopulatae sunt et subsannatae a reliquis gentibus per circuitum .
በእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አድባረ ፡ እስራኤል ። ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአድባር ፡ ወለአውግር ፡ ወለአፍላግ ፡ ወለቈላት ፡ እለ ፡ መዝበሩ ፡ ወማሰኑ ፡ ወለአህጉርኒ ፡ እለ ፡ ተኀድጋ ፡ ወኮና ፡ በርበረ ፡ ወኬድዎን ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ ዐውዶሙ ።
therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: The Lord Yahweh says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;
36:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּה ־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִה֒ אִם ־לֹ֠א בְּאֵ֨שׁ קִנְאָתִ֥י דִבַּ֛רְתִּי עַל ־שְׁאֵרִ֥ית הַגּוֹיִ֖ם וְעַל ־אֱד֣וֹם כֻּלָּ֑א אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתְנֽוּ ־אֶת ־אַרְצִ֣י ׀לָ֠הֶ֠ם לְמ֨וֹרָשָׁ֜ה בְּשִׂמְחַ֤ת כׇּל ־לֵבָב֙ בִּשְׁאָ֣ט נֶ֔פֶשׁ לְמַ֥עַן מִגְרָשָׁ֖הּ לָבַֽז ׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος εἰ μὴν ἐν πυρὶ θυμοῦ μου ἐλάλησα ἐπὶ τὰ λοιπὰ ἔθνη καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν πᾶσαν ὅτι ἔδωκαν τὴν γῆν μου ἑαυτοῖς εἰς κατάσχεσιν μετ’ εὐφροσύνης ἀτιμάσαντες ψυχὰς τοῦ ἀφανίσαι ἐν προνομῇ
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Quoniam in igne zeli mei locutus sum de reliquis gentibus , et de Idumaea universa , quae dederunt terram meam sibi in haereditatem cum gaudio , et toto corde et ex animo , et ejecerunt eam ut vastarent :
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ዳእሙ ፡ በእሳተ ፡ መዐትየ ፡ ነበብኩ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኤዶምያስ ፡ እስመ ፡ ረሰዩ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ምድርየ ፡ ይኰንኑ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ በፍሥሐ ፡ ልብ ፡ ወአኅሠርዋ ፡ ለነፍሶሙ ፡ ወአማሰኑ ፡ ፄዋሆሙ ።
therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’
36:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֕ן הִנָּבֵ֖א עַל ־אַדְמַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֡ לֶהָרִ֣ים וְ֠לַגְּבָע֠וֹת לָאֲפִיקִ֨ים וְלַגֵּאָי֜וֹת כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֨י בְקִנְאָתִ֤י וּבַֽחֲמָתִי֙ דִּבַּ֔רְתִּי יַ֛עַן כְּלִמַּ֥ת גּוֹיִ֖ם נְשָׂאתֶֽם ׃
διὰ τοῦτο προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ εἰπὸν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς καὶ ταῖς φάραγξιν καὶ ταῖς νάπαις τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐν τῷ ζήλῳ μου καὶ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ μου ἐλάλησα ἀντὶ τοῦ ὀνειδισμοὺς ἐθνῶν ἐνέγκαι ὑμᾶς
idcirco vaticinare super humum Israël , et dices montibus et collibus , jugis et vallibus : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego in zelo meo et in furore meo locutus sum , eo quod confusionem gentium sustinueritis .
በእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ተነበይ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ለአድባር ፡ ወለአውግር ፡ ወለከሪር ፡ ወለቈላት ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ ነበብኩ ፡ በመዐትየ ፡ ወበቅንአትየ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ዘጸዐሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይምጽኡክሙ ።
Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”
36:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה אֲנִ֖י נָשָׂ֣אתִי אֶת ־יָדִ֑י אִם ־לֹ֤א הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָכֶ֣ם מִסָּבִ֔יב הֵ֖מָּה כְּלִמָּתָ֥ם יִשָּֽׂאוּ ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἐγὼ ἀρῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη τὰ περικύκλῳ ὑμῶν οὗτοι τὴν ἀτιμίαν αὐτῶν λήμψονται
Idcirco haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ego levavi manum meam , ut gentes quae in circuitu vestro sunt , ipsae confusionem suam portent .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ አነ ፡ አነሥእ ፡ እዴየ ፡ በላዕለ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እለ ፡ ዐውድክሙ ፡ ወይነሥኡ ፡ ኃሣሮሙ ፡ እሙንቱ ።
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I have sworn, ‘Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’
36:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתֶּ֞ם הָרֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עַנְפְּכֶ֣ם תִּתֵּ֔נוּ וּפֶרְיְכֶ֥ם תִּשְׂא֖וּ לְעַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֥י קֵרְב֖וּ לָבֽוֹא ׃
ὑμῶν δέ ὄρη Ισραηλ τὴν σταφυλὴν καὶ τὸν καρπὸν ὑμῶν καταφάγεται ὁ λαός μου ὅτι ἐγγίζουσιν τοῦ ἐλθεῖν
Vos autem , montes Israël , ramos vestros germinetis , et fructum vestrum afferatis populo meo Israël : prope enim est ut veniat .
ወለክሙሰ ፡ አድባረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ አስካለ ፡ ቀምሕክሙ ፡ ይበልዑ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይሴፈዉ ፡ ይምጽኡ ።
“‘“But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
36:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֖י הִנְנִ֣י אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם וּפָנִ֣יתִי אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם וְנֶעֱבַדְתֶּ֖ם וְנִזְרַעְתֶּֽם ׃
ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς καὶ ἐπιβλέψω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς καὶ κατεργασθήσεσθε καὶ σπαρήσεσθε
Quia ecce ego ad vos , et convertar ad vos : et arabimini , et accipietis sementem .
እሰመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ወእኔጽር ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወየሐርሱክሙ ፡ ወይዘርኡክሙ ።
For, behold, I am for you, and I will come to you, and you will be tilled and sown.
36:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֤י עֲלֵיכֶם֙ אָדָ֔ם כׇּל ־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כֻּלֹּ֑ה וְנֹֽשְׁבוּ֙ הֶעָרִ֔ים וְהֶחֳרָב֖וֹת תִּבָּנֶֽינָה ׃
καὶ πληθυνῶ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ἀνθρώπους πᾶν οἶκον Ισραηλ εἰς τέλος καὶ κατοικηθήσονται αἱ πόλεις καὶ ἡ ἠρημωμένη οἰκοδομηθήσεται
Et multiplicabo in vobis homines , omnemque domum Israël : et habitabuntur civitates , et ruinosa instaurabuntur .
ወአበዝኅ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ለዝሉፉ ፡ ወይነብርዎን ፡ ለአህጉሪሆሙ ፡ ወይትሐነጻ ፡ እለ ፡ መዝበራ ።
I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it. The cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
36:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֧י עֲלֵיכֶ֛ם אָדָ֥ם וּבְהֵמָ֖ה וְרָב֣וּ וּפָר֑וּ וְהוֹשַׁבְתִּ֨י אֶתְכֶ֜ם כְּקַדְמֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם וְהֵיטִֽבֹתִי֙ מֵרִאשֹׁ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וִידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ πληθυνῶ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ἀνθρώπους καὶ κτήνη καὶ κατοικιῶ ὑμᾶς ὡς τὸ ἐν ἀρχῇ ὑμῶν καὶ εὖ ποιήσω ὑμᾶς ὥσπερ τὰ ἔμπροσθεν ὑμῶν καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
Et replebo vos hominibus et jumentis , et multiplicabuntur , et crescent : et habitare vos faciam sicut a principio , bonisque donabo majoribus quam habuistis ab initio : et scietis quia ego Dominus .
ወእመልኦን ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ወእንስሳ ፣፡ ወአነብረክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትካት ፡ ወአሤኒ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ቀዲሙ ፡ ወተአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
I will multiply man and animal on you. They will increase and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before, and you will do better than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.
36:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוֹלַכְתִּי֩ עֲלֵיכֶ֨ם אָדָ֜ם אֶת ־עַמִּ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וִירֵשׁ֔וּךָ וְהָיִ֥יתָ לָהֶ֖ם לְנַחֲלָ֑ה וְלֹא ־תוֹסִ֥ף ע֖וֹד לְשַׁכְּלָֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ γεννήσω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ἀνθρώπους τὸν λαόν μου Ισραηλ καὶ κληρονομήσουσιν ὑμᾶς καὶ ἔσεσθε αὐτοῖς εἰς κατάσχεσιν καὶ οὐ μὴ προστεθῆτε ἔτι ἀτεκνωθῆναι ἀπ’ αὐτῶν
Et adducam super vos homines , populum meum Israël , et haereditate possidebunt te : et eris eis in haereditatem , et non addes ultra ut absque eis sis .
ወአወልድ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ለሕዝብየ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይወርሱክሙ ፡ ወእሙንቱ ፡ ይከውኑ ፡ መኳንንቲክሙ ፡ ወኢይቀትሉ ፡ ውሉደክሙ ።
Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will never again bereave them of their children.”
36:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה יַ֚עַן אֹמְרִ֣ים לָכֶ֔ם אֹכֶ֥לֶת אָדָ֖ם (אתי ) [אָ֑תְּ ] וּמְשַׁכֶּ֥לֶת (גויך ) [גּוֹיַ֖יִךְ ] הָיִֽית ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἀνθ’ ὧν εἶπάν σοι κατέσθουσα ἀνθρώπους εἶ καὶ ἠτεκνωμένη ὑπὸ τοῦ ἔθνους σου ἐγένου
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Pro eo quod dicunt de vobis : Devoratrix hominum es , et suffocans gentem tuam :
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይቤሉኪ ፡ በላዒተ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ አንቲ ፡ ወአጥፋእኪ ፡ ውሉደኪ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ሕዝብኪ ።
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because they say to you, ‘You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;’
36:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן אָדָם֙ לֹא ־תֹ֣אכְלִי ע֔וֹד (וגויך ) [וְגוֹיַ֖יִךְ ] לֹ֣א (תכשלי ) [תְשַׁכְּלִי ־]ע֑וֹד נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ἀνθρώπους οὐκέτι φάγεσαι καὶ τὸ ἔθνος σου οὐκ ἀτεκνώσεις ἔτι λέγει κύριος κύριος
propterea homines non comedes amplius , et gentem tuam non necabis ultra , ait Dominus Deus .
በእንተ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ኢትበልዒ ፡ እንከ ፡ ሰብአ ፡ ወኢይመክኑ ፡ እንከ ፡ ሕዝብኪ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ።
therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.
36:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹא ־אַשְׁמִ֨יעַ אֵלַ֤יִךְ עוֹד֙ כְּלִמַּ֣ת הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְחֶרְפַּ֥ת עַמִּ֖ים לֹ֣א תִשְׂאִי ־ע֑וֹד (וגויך ) [וְגוֹיַ֙יִךְ֙ ] לֹא ־תַכְשִׁ֣לִי ע֔וֹד נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ οὐκ ἀκουσθήσεται οὐκέτι ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ἀτιμία ἐθνῶν καὶ ὀνειδισμοὺς λαῶν οὐ μὴ ἀνενέγκητε λέγει κύριος κύριος
Nec auditam faciam in te amplius confusionem gentium , et opprobrium populorum nequaquam portabis : et gentem tuam non amittes amplius , ait Dominus Deus .
ወኢይሰማዕ ፡ እንከ ፡ በላዕሌክሙ ፡ ጽዕለተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወኃሣሮሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ኢይመጽአክሙ ፡ ወኢይመክኑ ፡ እንከ ፡ ሕዝብኪ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ።
“I won’t let you hear the shame of the nations any more. You won’t bear the reproach of the peoples any more, and you won’t cause your nation to stumble any more,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”
36:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factum est verbum Domini ad me , dicens :
ወኮነ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
36:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֗ם בֵּ֤ית יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ יֹשְׁבִ֣ים עַל ־אַדְמָתָ֔ם וַיְטַמְּא֣וּ אוֹתָ֔הּ בְּדַרְכָּ֖ם וּבַעֲלִֽילוֹתָ֑ם כְּטֻמְאַת֙ הַנִּדָּ֔ה הָיְתָ֥ה דַרְכָּ֖ם לְפָנָֽי ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου οἶκος Ισραηλ κατῴκησεν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐμίαναν αὐτὴν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἀκαθαρσίαις αὐτῶν κατὰ τὴν ἀκαθαρσίαν τῆς ἀποκαθημένης ἐγενήθη ἡ ὁδὸς αὐτῶν πρὸ προσώπου μου
Fili hominis , domus Israël habitaverunt in humo sua , et polluerunt eam in viis suis et in studiis suis : juxta immunditiam menstruatae facta est via eorum coram me .
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፣፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ነበሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድሮሙ ፡ ወአርኰስዋ ፡ ለምድሮሙ ፡ በፍኖቶሙ ፡ ወበርኵሶሙ ፡ ወበጣዖቶሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ርኵሰ ፡ ትክት ፡ ኮነ ፡ ፍኖቶሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ገጽየ ።
“Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and by their deeds. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
36:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וָאֶשְׁפֹּ֤ךְ חֲמָתִי֙ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם עַל ־הַדָּ֖ם אֲשֶׁר ־שָׁפְכ֣וּ עַל ־הָאָ֑רֶץ וּבְגִלּוּלֵיהֶ֖ם טִמְּאֽוּהָ ׃
καὶ ἐξέχεα τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς
Et effudi indignationem meam super eos pro sanguine quem fuderunt super terram , et in idolis suis polluerunt eam .
ወሦጥኩ ፡ መዐትየ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ደም ፡ ዘከዐዉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወአርኰስዋ ፡ በታዖቶሙ ።
Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.
36:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וָאָפִ֤יץ אֹתָם֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם וַיִּזָּר֖וּ בָּאֲרָצ֑וֹת כְּדַרְכָּ֥ם וְכַעֲלִילוֹתָ֖ם שְׁפַטְתִּֽים ׃
καὶ διέσπειρα αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰ ἔθνη καὶ ἐλίκμησα αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χώρας κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτῶν καὶ κατὰ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτῶν ἔκρινα αὐτούς
Et dispersi eos in gentes , et ventilati sunt in terras : juxta vias eorum et adinventiones eorum judicavi eos .
ወዘረውክዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወአኅሠርክዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በሐውርት ፡ ወኰነንክዎሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ፍኖቶሙ ፡ ወበከመ ፡ ጌጋዮሙ ።
I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. I judged them according to their way and according to their deeds.
36:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּב֗וֹא אֶל ־הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁר ־בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וַֽיְחַלְּל֖וּ אֶת ־שֵׁ֣ם קׇדְשִׁ֑י בֶּאֱמֹ֤ר לָהֶם֙ עַם ־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֵ֔לֶּה וּמֵאַרְצ֖וֹ יָצָֽאוּ ׃
καὶ εἰσήλθοσαν εἰς τὰ ἔθνη οὗ εἰσήλθοσαν ἐκεῖ καὶ ἐβεβήλωσαν τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ ἅγιον ἐν τῷ λέγεσθαι αὐτούς λαὸς κυρίου οὗτοι καὶ ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ ἐξεληλύθασιν
Et ingressi sunt ad gentes ad quas introierunt : et polluerunt nomen sanctum meum , cum diceretur de eis : Populus Domini iste est , et de terra ejus egressi sunt .
ወቦሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወበህየ ፡ በዊኦሙ ፡ አርኰሱ ፡ ስምየ ፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይቤልዎሙ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እሙንቱ ፣፡ ወወፅኡ ፡ እምድሮሙ ።
When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘These are Yahweh’s people, and have left his land.’
36:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וָאֶחְמֹ֖ל עַל ־שֵׁ֣ם קׇדְשִׁ֑י אֲשֶׁ֤ר חִלְּלֻ֙הוּ֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁר ־בָּ֥אוּ שָֽׁמָּה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐφεισάμην αὐτῶν διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ ἅγιον ὃ ἐβεβήλωσαν οἶκος Ισραηλ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οὗ εἰσήλθοσαν ἐκεῖ
Et peperci nomini sancto meo , quod polluerat domus Israël in gentibus ad quas ingressi sunt .
ወመሐክዎሙ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ስምየ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ዘአርኰሱ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ቦኡ ፡ ህየ ።
But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
36:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֣ר לְבֵֽית ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה לֹ֧א לְמַעַנְכֶ֛ם אֲנִ֥י עֹשֶׂ֖ה בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֤י אִם ־לְשֵׁם ־קׇדְשִׁי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חִלַּלְתֶּ֔ם בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁר ־בָּ֥אתֶם שָֽׁם ׃
διὰ τοῦτο εἰπὸν τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐχ ὑμῖν ἐγὼ ποιῶ οἶκος Ισραηλ ἀλλ’ ἢ διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ ἅγιον ὃ ἐβεβηλώσατε ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οὗ εἰσήλθετε ἐκεῖ
Idcirco dices domui Israël : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Non propter vos ego faciam , domus Israël , sed propter nomen sanctum meum , quod polluistis in gentibus ad quas intrastis .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ አኮአ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዘእገብር ፡ ዳእሙ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ስምየ ፡ ቅዱስ ፡ ዘአርኰስክሙ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ቦእክሙ ፡ ህየ ።
“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
36:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְקִדַּשְׁתִּ֞י אֶת ־שְׁמִ֣י הַגָּד֗וֹל הַֽמְחֻלָּל֙ בַּגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר חִלַּלְתֶּ֖ם בְּתוֹכָ֑ם וְיָדְע֨וּ הַגּוֹיִ֜ם כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה בְּהִקָּדְשִׁ֥י בָכֶ֖ם לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם ׃
καὶ ἁγιάσω τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ μέγα τὸ βεβηλωθὲν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ὃ ἐβεβηλώσατε ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν καὶ γνώσονται τὰ ἔθνη ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ ἁγιασθῆναί με ἐν ὑμῖν κατ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν
Et sanctificabo nomen meum magnum quod pollutum est inter gentes , quod polluistis in medio earum : ut sciant gentes quia ego Dominus , ait Dominus exercituum , cum sanctificatus fuero in vobis coram eis .
ወአቄድስ ፡ ስምየ ፡ ዓቢየ ፡ ዘረኵሰ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፣፡ ዘአርኰስክሙ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ተቀደስኩ ፡ በማእከሌክሙ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ አዕይንቲሆሙ ።
I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.
36:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלָקַחְתִּ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ מִן ־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְקִבַּצְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִכׇּל ־הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם אֶל ־אַדְמַתְכֶֽם ׃
καὶ λήμψομαι ὑμᾶς ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἀθροίσω ὑμᾶς ἐκ πασῶν τῶν γαιῶν καὶ εἰσάξω ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν γῆν ὑμῶν
Tollam quippe vos de gentibus , et congregabo vos de universis terris , et adducam vos in terram vestram .
ወእነሥአክሙ ፡ እምአሕዛብ ፡ ወአስተጋብአክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ በሐውርት ፡ ወአገብአክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድርክሙ ።
“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
36:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְזָרַקְתִּ֧י עֲלֵיכֶ֛ם מַ֥יִם טְהוֹרִ֖ים וּטְהַרְתֶּ֑ם מִכֹּ֧ל טֻמְאוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם וּמִכׇּל ־גִּלּ֥וּלֵיכֶ֖ם אֲטַהֵ֥ר אֶתְכֶֽם ׃
καὶ ῥανῶ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ὕδωρ καθαρόν καὶ καθαρισθήσεσθε ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἀκαθαρσιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν εἰδώλων ὑμῶν καὶ καθαριῶ ὑμᾶς
Et effundam super vos aquam mundam , et mundabimini ab omnibus inquinamentis vestris , et ab universis idolis vestris mundabo vos .
ወእነዝኀክሙ ፡ በማይ ፡ ንጹሕ ፡ ወትነጽሑ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ረኵስክሙ ፣፡ ወአነጽሐክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ጣዖትክሙ ።
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
36:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנָתַתִּ֤י לָכֶם֙ לֵ֣ב חָדָ֔שׁ וְר֥וּחַ חֲדָשָׁ֖ה אֶתֵּ֣ן בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑ם וַהֲסִ֨רֹתִ֜י אֶת ־לֵ֤ב הָאֶ֙בֶן֙ מִבְּשַׂרְכֶ֔ם וְנָתַתִּ֥י לָכֶ֖ם לֵ֥ב בָּשָֽׂר ׃
καὶ δώσω ὑμῖν καρδίαν καινὴν καὶ πνεῦμα καινὸν δώσω ἐν ὑμῖν καὶ ἀφελῶ τὴν καρδίαν τὴν λιθίνην ἐκ τῆς σαρκὸς ὑμῶν καὶ δώσω ὑμῖν καρδίαν σαρκίνην
Et dabo vobis cor novum , et spiritum novum ponam in medio vestri : et auferam cor lapideum de carne vestra , et dabo vobis cor carneum .
ወእሁበክሙ ፡ ልበ ፡ ሐዲሰ ፡ ወመንፈሰ ፡ ሐዲስ ፡ እወዲ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወአወፅእ ፡ ልበ ፡ እብን ፡ እምሥጋክሙ ፡ ወእሁበክሙ ፡ ልበ ፡ ዘሥጋ ።
I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
36:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶת ־רוּחִ֖י אֶתֵּ֣ן בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֑ם וְעָשִׂ֗יתִי אֵ֤ת אֲשֶׁר ־בְּחֻקַּי֙ תֵּלֵ֔כוּ וּמִשְׁפָּטַ֥י תִּשְׁמְר֖וּ וַעֲשִׂיתֶֽם ׃
καὶ τὸ πνεῦμά μου δώσω ἐν ὑμῖν καὶ ποιήσω ἵνα ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασίν μου πορεύησθε καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου φυλάξησθε καὶ ποιήσητε
Et spiritum meum ponam in medio vestri : et faciam ut in praeceptis meis ambuletis , et judicia mea custodiatis et operemini .
ወእሁብ ፡ መንፈስየ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ወእሬስየክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሑሩ ፡ በሥርዓትየ ፡ ወትዕቀቡ ፡ ኵነኔየ ፡ በሥርዓትየ ፡ ወትዕቀቡ ፡ ኵነኔየ ፡ ወትግበርዎ ።
I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them.
36:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וִישַׁבְתֶּ֣ם בָּאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם וִהְיִ֤יתֶם לִי֙ לְעָ֔ם וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים ׃
καὶ κατοικήσετε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἧς ἔδωκα τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν καὶ ἔσεσθέ μοι εἰς λαόν κἀγὼ ἔσομαι ὑμῖν εἰς θεόν
Et habitabitis in terra quam dedi patribus vestris : et eritis mihi in populum , et ego ero vobis in Deum .
ወትነብሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ወሀብክዎሙ ፡ ለአበዊክሙ ፡ ወትከውኑኒ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ወአነሂ ፡ እከውነክሙ ፡ አምላክክሙ ።
You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
36:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִכֹּ֖ל טֻמְאֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם וְקָרָ֤אתִי אֶל ־הַדָּגָן֙ וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֣י אֹת֔וֹ וְלֹא ־אֶתֵּ֥ן עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם רָעָֽב ׃
καὶ σώσω ὑμᾶς ἐκ πασῶν τῶν ἀκαθαρσιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ καλέσω τὸν σῖτον καὶ πληθυνῶ αὐτὸν καὶ οὐ δώσω ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς λιμόν
Et salvabo vos ex universis inquinamentis vestris : et vocabo frumentum et multiplicabo illud , et non imponam vobis famem .
ወአድኅነክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ርኵስክሙ ፡ ወእጼውዖ ፡ ለስርናይ ፡ ወአሠምሮ ፣፡ ወኢያመጽእ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ ረኃበ ።
I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.
36:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִרְבֵּיתִי֙ אֶת ־פְּרִ֣י הָעֵ֔ץ וּתְנוּבַ֖ת הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה לְמַ֗עַן אֲ֠שֶׁ֠ר לֹ֣א תִקְח֥וּ ע֛וֹד חֶרְפַּ֥ת רָעָ֖ב בַּגּוֹיִֽם ׃
καὶ πληθυνῶ τὸν καρπὸν τοῦ ξύλου καὶ τὰ γενήματα τοῦ ἀγροῦ ὅπως μὴ λάβητε ὀνειδισμὸν λιμοῦ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν
Et multiplicabo fructum ligni , et genimina agri , ut non portetis ultra opprobrium famis in gentibus .
ወአሠምር ፡ ፍሬ ፡ ዕፀው ፡ ወማእረረ ፡ ገራውህ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትኩኑ ፡ ጽዕለተ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ረኃብ ።
I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
36:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּזְכַרְתֶּם֙ אֶת ־דַּרְכֵיכֶ֣ם הָרָעִ֔ים וּמַעַלְלֵיכֶ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא ־טוֹבִ֑ים וּנְקֹֽטֹתֶם֙ בִּפְנֵיכֶ֔ם עַ֚ל עֲוֺנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְעַ֖ל תּוֹעֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם ׃
καὶ μνησθήσεσθε τὰς ὁδοὺς ὑμῶν τὰς πονηρὰς καὶ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν τὰ μὴ ἀγαθὰ καὶ προσοχθιεῖτε κατὰ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις ὑμῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς βδελύγμασιν ὑμῶν
Et recordabimini viarum vestrarum pessimarum , studiorumque non bonorum : et displicebunt vobis iniquitates vestrae et scelera vestra .
ወትዜከሩ ፡ ፍናዊክሙ ፡ እኩያተ ፡ ወምግባሪክሙ ፡ ዘኢኮነ ፡ ሠናየ ፡ ወአኀሥረክሙ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ በጌጋይክሙ ፡ ወበርኵስክሙ ።
“‘“Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
36:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֹ֧א לְמַעַנְכֶ֣ם אֲנִֽי ־עֹשֶׂ֗ה נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה יִוָּדַ֖ע לָכֶ֑ם בּ֧וֹשׁוּ וְהִכָּֽלְמ֛וּ מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֖ם בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃ {ס}
οὐ δῑ ὑμᾶς ἐγὼ ποιῶ λέγει κύριος κύριος γνωστὸν ἔσται ὑμῖν αἰσχύνθητε καὶ ἐντράπητε ἐκ τῶν ὁδῶν ὑμῶν οἶκος Ισραηλ
Non propter vos ego faciam , ait Dominus Deus , notum sit vobis : confundimini , et erubescite super viis vestris , domus Israël .
ወአኮ ፡ በእንቲአክሙ ፡ ዘእገብር ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ዘይትዐወቀክሙ ። ተኀፍሩ ፡ ወተኃሥሩ ፡ እምፍኖትክሙ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ።
I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”
36:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה בְּיוֹם֙ טַהֲרִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִכֹּ֖ל עֲוֺנֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם וְהֽוֹשַׁבְתִּי֙ אֶת ־הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים וְנִבְנ֖וּ הֶחֳרָבֽוֹת ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ καθαριῶ ὑμᾶς ἐκ πασῶν τῶν ἀνομιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ κατοικιῶ τὰς πόλεις καὶ οἰκοδομηθήσονται αἱ ἔρημοι
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : In die qua mundavero vos ex omnibus iniquitatibus vestris , et inhabitari fecero urbes , et instauravero ruinosa ,
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ አመ ፡ አጽረይኩክሙ ፡ እምኵሉ ፡ ኃጢአትክሙ ፡ አነብረክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አህጉር ፡ ወይትሐነጽ ፡ መዝበር ።
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
36:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָאָ֥רֶץ הַנְּשַׁמָּ֖ה תֵּעָבֵ֑ד תַּ֚חַת אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיְתָ֣ה שְׁמָמָ֔ה לְעֵינֵ֖י כׇּל ־עוֹבֵֽר ׃
καὶ ἡ γῆ ἡ ἠφανισμένη ἐργασθήσεται ἀνθ’ ὧν ὅτι ἠφανισμένη ἐγενήθη κατ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς παντὸς παροδεύοντος
et terra deserta fuerit exculta , quae quondam erat desolata in oculis omnis viatoris ,
ወየሐርሱ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ዘማሰነ ፡ እስመ ፡ ሙስንተ ፡ ኮነት ፡ በቅድመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ኃላፊት ።
The land that was desolate will be tilled instead of being a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
36:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאָמְר֗וּ הָאָ֤רֶץ הַלֵּ֙זוּ֙ הַנְּשַׁמָּ֔ה הָיְתָ֖ה כְּגַן ־עֵ֑דֶן וְהֶעָרִ֧ים הֶחֳרֵב֛וֹת וְהַֽנְשַׁמּ֥וֹת וְהַנֶּהֱרָס֖וֹת בְּצוּר֥וֹת יָשָֽׁבוּ ׃
καὶ ἐροῦσιν ἡ γῆ ἐκείνη ἡ ἠφανισμένη ἐγενήθη ὡς κῆπος τρυφῆς καὶ αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἔρημοι καὶ ἠφανισμέναι καὶ κατεσκαμμέναι ὀχυραὶ ἐκάθισαν
dicent : Terra illa inculta facta est ut hortus voluptatis : et civitates desertae , et destitutae atque suffossae , munitae sederunt .
ወይብሉ ፡ እንታክቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ሙስንት ፡ ከመ ፡ ገነተ ፡ ትፍስሕት ፡ ኮነት ፣፡ ወአህጉር ፡ ዘመዝበራ ፡ ወዘማሰና ፡ ወተከርያ ፡ ተጸዊኖን ፡ ነበራ ።
They will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’
36:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיָדְע֣וּ הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִֽשָּׁאֲרוּ֮ סְבִיבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֒ כִּ֣י ׀ אֲנִ֣י יְהֹוָ֗ה בָּנִ֙יתִי֙ הַנֶּ֣הֱרָס֔וֹת נָטַ֖עְתִּי הַנְּשַׁמָּ֑ה אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי וְעָשִֽׂיתִי ׃ {ס}
καὶ γνώσονται τὰ ἔθνη ὅσα ἂν καταλειφθῶσιν κύκλῳ ὑμῶν ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ᾠκοδόμησα τὰς καθῃρημένας καὶ κατεφύτευσα τὰς ἠφανισμένας ἐγὼ κύριος ἐλάλησα καὶ ποιήσω
Et scient gentes quaecumque derelictae fuerint in circuitu vestro , quia ego Dominus aedificavi dissipata , plantavique inculta : ego Dominus locutus sim , et fecerim .
ወየአምሩ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ ዐውደክሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፣፡ ሐነጽኩ ፡ እለ ፡ መዝበራ ፡ ወተከልኩ ፡ እለ ፡ ማሰና ። አነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ነበብኩሂ ፡ ወነገርኩ ።
Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate. I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.”
36:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה ע֗וֹד זֹ֛את אִדָּרֵ֥שׁ לְבֵֽית ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת לָהֶ֑ם אַרְבֶּ֥ה אֹתָ֛ם כַּצֹּ֖אן אָדָֽם ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος ἔτι τοῦτο ζητηθήσομαι τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς πληθυνῶ αὐτοὺς ὡς πρόβατα ἀνθρώπους
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Adhuc in hoc invenient me domus Israël , ut faciam eis : multiplicabo eos sicut gregem hominum ,
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እግዚእ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ዳእሙ ፡ አኀሥሥ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ዘእገብር ፡ ሎሙ ፣፡ አበዝኆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ሰብእ ።
“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
36:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּצֹ֣אן קׇדָשִׁ֗ים כְּצֹ֤אן יְרוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ בְּמ֣וֹעֲדֶ֔יהָ כֵּ֤ן תִּֽהְיֶ֙ינָה֙ הֶעָרִ֣ים הֶחֳרֵב֔וֹת מְלֵא֖וֹת צֹ֣אן אָדָ֑ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃ {פ}
ὡς πρόβατα ἅγια ὡς πρόβατα Ιερουσαλημ ἐν ταῖς ἑορταῖς αὐτῆς οὕτως ἔσονται αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἔρημοι πλήρεις προβάτων ἀνθρώπων καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος
ut gregem sanctum , ut gregem Jerusalem in solemnitatibus ejus : sic erunt civitates desertae , plenae gregibus hominum : et scient quia ego Dominus .
ወከመ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ቅዱሳን ፡ ወከመ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ በበዓላቲሃ ። ከማሁ ፡ ይከውና ፡ አህጉር ፡ እለ ፡ መዝበራ ፣፡ ይመልኣ ፡ አባግዐ ፡ ሰብእ ፣፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’”
