13:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Et factus est sermo Domini ad me , dicens :
ወነበበኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤለኒ ።
Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
13:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֶּן ־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵ֛א אֶל ־נְבִיאֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הַנִּבָּאִ֑ים וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ לִנְבִיאֵ֣י מִלִּבָּ֔ם שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר ־יְהֹוָֽה ׃
υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ προφητεύσεις καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου
Fili hominis , vaticinare ad prophetas Israël qui prophetant , et dices prophetantibus de corde suo : Audite verbum Domini .
ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ተነበይ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ነቢያተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እለ ፡ ይትኔበዩ ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ለነቢያት ፡ እለ ፡ ይትኔበዩ ፡ እምልቦሙ ፡ ወበሎሙ ፡ ስምዑ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear Yahweh’s word:
13:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה ה֖וֹי עַל ־הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים הַנְּבָלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֹלְכִ֛ים אַחַ֥ר רוּחָ֖ם וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י רָאֽוּ ׃
τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ τοῖς προφητεύουσιν ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ καθόλου μὴ βλέπουσιν
Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Vae prophetis insipientibus , qui sequuntur spiritum suum , et nihil vident !
ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አሌ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይትኔበዩ ፡ እምልቦሙ ፡ ዘኢርእዩ ፡ ግሙራ ።
The Lord Yahweh says, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
13:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּשֻׁעָלִ֖ים בׇּחֳרָב֑וֹת נְבִיאֶ֥יךָ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הָיֽוּ ׃
οἱ προφῆταί σου Ισραηλ ὡς ἀλώπεκες ἐν ταῖς ἐρήμοις
Quasi vulpes in desertis prophetae tui , Israël , erant .
ከመ ፡ ቈናጽል ፡ ውስተ ፡ በድው ፡ ነቢያቲከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ይከውኑ ።
Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.
13:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ לֹ֤א עֲלִיתֶם֙ בַּפְּרָצ֔וֹת וַתִּגְדְּר֥וּ גָדֵ֖ר עַל ־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲמֹ֥ד בַּמִּלְחָמָ֖ה בְּי֥וֹם יְהֹוָֽה ׃
οὐκ ἔστησαν ἐν στερεώματι καὶ συνήγαγον ποίμνια ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ ἀνέστησαν οἱ λέγοντες ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κυρίου
Non ascendistis ex adverso , neque opposuistis murum pro domo Israël , ut staretis in praelio in die Domini .
ወኢዐረግሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቅጽር ፡ ዘተነሥተ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትሕንጹ ፡ ጥቅመ ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፣፡ ወከመ ፡ ትቁሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ጸብእ ፡ በዕለተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
You have not gone up into the gaps or built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in Yahweh’s day.
13:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ חָ֤זוּ שָׁוְא֙ וְקֶ֣סֶם כָּזָ֔ב הָאֹֽמְרִים֙ נְאֻם ־יְהֹוָ֔ה וַיהֹוָ֖ה לֹ֣א שְׁלָחָ֑ם וְיִחֲל֖וּ לְקַיֵּ֥ם דָּבָֽר ׃
βλέποντες ψευδῆ μαντευόμενοι μάταια οἱ λέγοντες λέγει κύριος καὶ κύριος οὐκ ἀπέσταλκεν αὐτούς καὶ ἤρξαντο τοῦ ἀναστῆσαι λόγον
Vident vana , et divinant mendacium , dicentes : Ait Dominus , cum Dominus non miserit eos : et perseveraverunt confirmare sermonem .
ሐሰተ ፡ ይሬእዩ ፡ ወያሰግሉ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ ወይብሉ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፣፡ ዘኢለአኮሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይእኅዙ ፡ ለአቅሞ ፡ ነገር ።
They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, ‘Yahweh says;’ but Yahweh has not sent them. They have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.
13:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֲל֤וֹא מַֽחֲזֵה ־שָׁוְא֙ חֲזִיתֶ֔ם וּמִקְסַ֥ם כָּזָ֖ב אֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם וְאֹֽמְרִים֙ נְאֻם ־יְהֹוָ֔ה וַאֲנִ֖י לֹ֥א דִבַּֽרְתִּי ׃ {ס}
οὐχ ὅρασιν ψευδῆ ἑωράκατε καὶ μαντείας ματαίας εἰρήκατε
Numquid non visionem cassam vidistis , et divinationem mendacem locuti estis , et dicitis : Ait Dominus , cum ego non sim locutus ?
አኮኑ ፡ ራእየ ፡ ሐሰት ፡ ርኢክሙ ፡ ወሰገለ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ ነገርክሙ ፡ ወትቤሉ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፣፡ ወአነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢነበብኩ ።
Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, ‘Yahweh says;’ but I have not spoken?”
13:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה יַ֚עַן דַּבֶּרְכֶ֣ם שָׁ֔וְא וַחֲזִיתֶ֖ם כָּזָ֑ב לָכֵן֙ הִנְנִ֣י אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃
διὰ τοῦτο εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ’ ὧν οἱ λόγοι ὑμῶν ψευδεῖς καὶ αἱ μαντεῖαι ὑμῶν μάταιαι διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς λέγει κύριος
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Quia locuti estis vana , et vidistis mendacium , ideo ecce ego ad vos , dicit Dominus Deus .
ወበበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ በሎሙ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እስመ ፡ ትቤሉ ፡ ነገረክሙ ፡ ሐሰተ ፡ ወሰገለክሙ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ነየ ፡ አነ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
“‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you,” says the Lord Yahweh.
13:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיְתָ֣ה יָדִ֗י אֶֽל ־הַנְּבִיאִ֞ים הַחֹזִ֣ים שָׁוְא֮ וְהַקֹּסְמִ֣ים כָּזָב֒ בְּס֧וֹד עַמִּ֣י לֹֽא ־יִֽהְי֗וּ וּבִכְתָ֤ב בֵּֽית ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֹ֣א יִכָּתֵ֔בוּ וְאֶל ־אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֹ֣א יָבֹ֑אוּ וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃
καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς ὁρῶντας ψευδῆ καὶ τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους μάταια ἐν παιδείᾳ τοῦ λαοῦ μου οὐκ ἔσονται οὐδὲ ἐν γραφῇ οἴκου Ισραηλ οὐ γραφήσονται καὶ εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ εἰσελεύσονται καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Et erit manus mea super prophetas qui vident vana , et divinant mendacium : in consilio populi mei non erunt , et in scriptura domus Israël non scribentur , nec in terram Israël ingredientur , et scietis quia ego Dominus Deus :
ወአነሥእ ፡ እዴየ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ነቢያት ፡ እለ ፡ ይትኔበዩ ፡ ሐሰተ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ይነግሩ ፡ ከንቶ ። ወኢሀለዉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምክረ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ወኢውስተ ፡ መጽሐፈ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ኢይጸሐፉ ፣፡ ወውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ኢይበውኡ ፡ ወየአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አዶናይ ።
“My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who utter lying divinations. They will not be in the council of my people, neither will they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither will they enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”
13:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַ֣עַן וּבְיַ֜עַן הִטְע֧וּ אֶת ־עַמִּ֛י לֵאמֹ֥ר שָׁל֖וֹם וְאֵ֣ין שָׁל֑וֹם וְהוּא֙ בֹּ֣נֶה חַ֔יִץ וְהִנָּ֛ם טָחִ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ תָּפֵֽל ׃
ἀνθ’ ὧν τὸν λαόν μου ἐπλάνησαν λέγοντες εἰρήνη εἰρήνη καὶ οὐκ ἦν εἰρήνη καὶ οὗτος οἰκοδομεῖ τοῖχον καὶ αὐτοὶ ἀλείφουσιν αὐτόν εἰ πεσεῖται
eo quod deceperint populum meum , dicentes : Pax , et non est pax : et ipse aedificabat parietem , illi autem liniebant eum luto absque paleis .
እስመ ፡ አስሐትዎሙ ፡ ለሕዝብየ ፡ ወይቤልዎሙ ፡ ሰላም ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ሰላም ፡ ወዝንቱ ፡ የሐንጽ ፡ አረፍተ ፣፡ ወእሙንቱ ፡ ይመርግዎ ፡ ትወድቅ ።
“‘Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash.
13:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֱמֹ֛ר אֶל ־טָחֵ֥י תָפֵ֖ל וְיִפֹּ֑ל הָיָ֣ה ׀ גֶּ֣שֶׁם שׁוֹטֵ֗ף וְאַתֵּ֜נָה אַבְנֵ֤י אֶלְגָּבִישׁ֙ תִּפֹּ֔לְנָה וְר֥וּחַ סְעָר֖וֹת תְּבַקֵּֽעַ ׃
εἰπὸν πρὸς τοὺς ἀλείφοντας πεσεῖται καὶ ἔσται ὑετὸς κατακλύζων καὶ δώσω λίθους πετροβόλους εἰς τοὺς ἐνδέσμους αὐτῶν καὶ πεσοῦνται καὶ πνεῦμα ἐξαῖρον καὶ ῥαγήσεται
Dic ad eos qui liniunt absque temperatura , quod casurus sit : erit enim imber inundans , et dabo lapides praegrandes desuper irruentes , et ventum procellae dissipantem .
በሎሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይመርግዋ ፡ ትወድቅ ፡ ወይመጽእ ፡ ዝናም ፡ ከመ ፡ አይኅ ፡ ወአወርድ ፡ እብነ ፡ ጾላዕት ፡ ውስተ ፡ መስእርቲሆሙ ፡ ወይወድቁ ፡ ወዐውሎ ፡ ኃይል ፡ ያነቅዓ ።
Tell those who plaster it with whitewash that it will fall. There will be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, will fall. A stormy wind will tear it.
13:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהִנֵּ֖ה נָפַ֣ל הַקִּ֑יר הֲלוֹא֙ יֵאָמֵ֣ר אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם אַיֵּ֥ה הַטִּ֖יחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר טַחְתֶּֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἰδοὺ πέπτωκεν ὁ τοῖχος καὶ οὐκ ἐροῦσιν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ποῦ ἐστιν ἡ ἀλοιφὴ ὑμῶν ἣν ἠλείψατε
Siquidem ecce cecidit paries : numquid non dicetur vobis : Ubi est litura quam linistis ?
ወትወድቅ ፡ አረፍቶሙ ፡ ወኢይብሉክሙ ፡ አይቴመ ፡ ምርግክሙ ፡ ዘመረግሙ ።
Behold, when the wall has fallen, won’t it be said to you, “Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?”
13:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֔ה וּבִקַּעְתִּ֥י רוּחַ ־סְעָר֖וֹת בַּחֲמָתִ֑י וְגֶ֤שֶׁם שֹׁטֵף֙ בְּאַפִּ֣י יִֽהְיֶ֔ה וְאַבְנֵ֥י אֶלְגָּבִ֖ישׁ בְּחֵמָ֥ה לְכָלָֽה ׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ῥήξω πνοὴν ἐξαίρουσαν μετὰ θυμοῦ καὶ ὑετὸς κατακλύζων ἐν ὀργῇ μου ἔσται καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς πετροβόλους ἐν θυμῷ ἐπάξω εἰς συντέλειαν
Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus : Et erumpere faciam spiritum tempestatum in indignatione mea , et imber inundans in furore meo erit , et lapides grandes in ira in consumptionem .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እነፅኆሙ ፡ በዐውሎ ፡ ዘየሐፍሶሙ ፡ በመዐትየ ፡ ወዝናም ፡ ዘያሠጥሞሙ ፡ በመቅሠፍትየ ፡ ይመጽኦሙ ፡ ወአወርድ ፡ በዲቤሆሙ ፡ እብነ ፡ ጾላዕት ፡ በመዐትየ ፡ ከመ ፡ እቀጥቅጦሙ ።
“‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath. There will be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.
13:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜י אֶת ־הַקִּ֨יר אֲשֶׁר ־טַחְתֶּ֥ם תָּפֵ֛ל וְהִגַּעְתִּ֥יהוּ אֶל ־הָאָ֖רֶץ וְנִגְלָ֣ה יְסֹד֑וֹ וְנָֽפְלָה֙ וּכְלִיתֶ֣ם בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ וִידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ κατασκάψω τὸν τοῖχον ὃν ἠλείψατε καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ θήσω αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἀποκαλυφθήσεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτοῦ καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ συντελεσθήσεσθε μετ’ ἐλέγχων καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Et destruam parietem quem linistis absque temperamento , et adaequabo eum terrae , et revelabitur fundamentum ejus : et cadet , et consumetur in medio ejus , et scietis quia ego sum Dominus .
ወአንኅላ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ አረፍት ፡ እንተ ፡ መረጉ ፡ ወትወድቅ ። ወአሰክባ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወይትከሠት ፡ መሠረታቲሃ ፡ ወትወድቅ ፡ ወተኀልቁ ፡ በማእከላ ፡ ወተአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
So I will break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered. It will fall, and you will be consumed in the middle of it. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.
13:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכִלֵּיתִ֤י אֶת ־חֲמָתִי֙ בַּקִּ֔יר וּבַטָּחִ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ תָּפֵ֑ל וְאֹמַ֤ר לָכֶם֙ אֵ֣ין הַקִּ֔יר וְאֵ֖ין הַטָּחִ֥ים אֹתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ συντελέσω τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ τὸν τοῖχον καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλείφοντας αὐτόν καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ εἶπα πρὸς ὑμᾶς οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ τοῖχος οὐδὲ οἱ ἀλείφοντες αὐτὸν
Et complebo indignationem meam in pariete , et in his qui liniunt eum absque temperamento : dicamque vobis : Non est paries , et non sunt qui liniunt eum :
ወእሤልጥ ፡ መዐትየ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ አረፍት ፡ ወትወድቅ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እለ ፡ ገየርዋ ። ወእብለክሙ ፡ ኢዐለወት ፡ አረፍት ፡ ወኢእለ ፡ ገየርዋ ።
Thus I will accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash. I will tell you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it—
13:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ נְבִיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הַֽנִּבְּאִים֙ אֶל ־יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם וְהַחֹזִ֥ים לָ֖הּ חֲז֣וֹן שָׁלֹ֑ם וְאֵ֣ין שָׁלֹ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה ׃ {פ}
προφῆται τοῦ Ισραηλ οἱ προφητεύοντες ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οἱ ὁρῶντες αὐτῇ εἰρήνην καὶ εἰρήνη οὐκ ἔστιν λέγει κύριος
prophetae Israël , qui prophetant ad Jerusalem , et vident ei visionem pacis , et non est pax , ait Dominus Deus .
ነቢያተ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እለ ፡ ተነበዩ ፡ ለኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ወርእዩ ፡ ላቲ ፡ ሰላመ ፣፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ሰላም ፡ ይቤ ፡ አዶናይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace,’” says the Lord Yahweh.’”
13:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן ־אָדָ֗ם שִׂ֤ים פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ אֶל ־בְּנ֣וֹת עַמְּךָ֔ הַמִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וֹת מִֽלִּבְּהֶ֑ן וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עֲלֵיהֶֽן ׃
καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ τὰς θυγατέρας τοῦ λαοῦ σου τὰς προφητευούσας ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ’ αὐτὰς
Et tu , fili hominis , pone faciem tuam contra filias populi tui quae prophetant de corde suo : et vaticinare super eas ,
ወአንተ ፡ ወልደ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ አጽንዕ ፡ ገጸከ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ሕዝብከ ፡ እለ ፡ ይትኔበያ ፡ እምልቦን ፣፡ ወተነበይ ፡ ሎቶን ።
You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,
13:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הוֹי֩ לִֽמְתַפְּר֨וֹת כְּסָת֜וֹת עַ֣ל ׀ כׇּל ־אַצִּילֵ֣י יָדַ֗י וְעֹשׂ֧וֹת הַמִּסְפָּח֛וֹת עַל ־רֹ֥אשׁ כׇּל ־קוֹמָ֖ה לְצוֹדֵ֣ד נְפָשׁ֑וֹת הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ תְּצוֹדֵ֣דְנָה לְעַמִּ֔י וּנְפָשׁ֖וֹת לָכֶ֥נָה תְחַיֶּֽינָה ׃
καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ ταῖς συρραπτούσαις προσκεφάλαια ἐπὶ πάντα ἀγκῶνα χειρὸς καὶ ποιούσαις ἐπιβόλαια ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κεφαλὴν πάσης ἡλικίας τοῦ διαστρέφειν ψυχάς αἱ ψυχαὶ διεστράφησαν τοῦ λαοῦ μου καὶ ψυχὰς περιεποιοῦντο
et dic : Haec dicit Dominus Deus : Vae quae consuunt pulvillos sub omni cubito manus , et faciunt cervicalia sub capite universae aetatis ad capiendas animas : et cum caperent animas populi mei , vivificabant animas eorum !
ወበሎን ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አዶናይ ፡ አሌ ፡ ሎቶን ፡ ለእለ ፡ ይሰፍያ ፡ መተርእስተ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ኵርናዓ ፡ እድ ፡ ወይገብራ ፡ ጽጋዓ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ርእስ ፡ እለ ፡ ይቀውሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይገፍትዓ ፡ ነፍሰ ። ወተገፍትዐ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ ወያሐይዉ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ።
and say, “The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all elbows and make veils for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people and save souls alive for yourselves?
13:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתְּחַלֶּלְ֨נָה אֹתִ֜י אֶל ־עַמִּ֗י בְּשַׁעֲלֵ֣י שְׂעֹרִים֮ וּבִפְת֣וֹתֵי לֶחֶם֒ לְהָמִ֤ית נְפָשׁוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא ־תְמוּתֶ֔נָה וּלְחַיּ֥וֹת נְפָשׁ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא ־תִֽחְיֶ֑ינָה בְּכַ֨זֶּבְכֶ֔ם לְעַמִּ֖י שֹׁמְעֵ֥י כָזָֽב ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐβεβήλουν με πρὸς τὸν λαόν μου ἕνεκεν δρακὸς κριθῶν καὶ ἕνεκεν κλασμάτων ἄρτου τοῦ ἀποκτεῖναι ψυχάς ἃς οὐκ ἔδει ἀποθανεῖν καὶ τοῦ περιποιήσασθαι ψυχάς ἃς οὐκ ἔδει ζῆσαι ἐν τῷ ἀποφθέγγεσθαι ὑμᾶς λαῷ εἰσακούοντι μάταια ἀποφθέγματα
Et violabant me ad populum meum propter pugillum hordei , et fragmen panis , ut interficerent animas quae non moriuntur , et vivificarent animas quae non vivunt , mentientes populo meo credenti mendaciis .
ወያረኵስዎሙ ፡ ለሕዝብየ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ሐፍሶሙ ፡ ምልአ ፡ ሕፍነ ፡ ስገም ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ቀርነ ፡ ኅብስት ፡ ከመ ፡ ይቅትሉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ዘኢይደልዎ ፡ መዊት ፡ ወከመ ፡ ያሕይዉ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ ዘኢይደልዎ ፡ ሐይው ፡ ወታወሥእዎሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ እለ ፡ ያጸምዑ ፡ ነገረ ፡ ከንቶ ።
You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.’
13:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה ־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֤י אֶל ־כִּסְּתוֹתֵיכֶ֙נָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַ֠תֵּ֠נָה מְצֹדְד֨וֹת שָׁ֤ם אֶת ־הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ לְפֹ֣רְח֔וֹת וְקָרַעְתִּ֣י אֹתָ֔ם מֵעַ֖ל זְרוֹעֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי֙ אֶת ־הַנְּפָשׁ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֛ם מְצֹדְד֥וֹת אֶת ־נְפָשִׁ֖ים לְפֹרְחֹֽת ׃
διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τὰ προσκεφάλαια ὑμῶν ἐφ’ ἃ ὑμεῖς συστρέφετε ἐκεῖ ψυχάς καὶ διαρρήξω αὐτὰ ἀπὸ τῶν βραχιόνων ὑμῶν καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ τὰς ψυχάς ἃς ὑμεῖς ἐκστρέφετε τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν εἰς διασκορπισμόν
Propter hoc haec dicit Dominus Deus : Ecce ego ad pulvillos vestros , quibus vos capitis animas volantes : et dirumpam eos de brachiis vestris , et dimittam animas quas vos capitis , animas ad volandum .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አዶናይ ፡ ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ መተርአስትክሙ ፡ ዘቦቱ ፡ ትገፍትዑ ፡ ነፍሰ ፡ በህየ ፡ ወእሠጥጦን ፡ በታሕተ ፡ ኵርናዓቲክሙ ፡ ወእፌኑ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ገፍራዕክምዎሙ ፡ ወእዘርዎሙ ።
“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I am against your magic bands, with which you hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms. I will let the souls fly free, even the souls whom you ensnare like birds.
13:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְקָרַעְתִּ֞י אֶת ־מִסְפְּחֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י אֶת ־עַמִּי֙ מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ן וְלֹא ־יִהְי֥וּ ע֛וֹד בְּיֶדְכֶ֖ן לִמְצוּדָ֑ה וִידַעְתֶּ֖ן כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ διαρρήξω τὰ ἐπιβόλαια ὑμῶν καὶ ῥύσομαι τὸν λαόν μου ἐκ χειρὸς ὑμῶν καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται ἐν χερσὶν ὑμῶν εἰς συστροφήν καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Et dirumpam cervicalia vestra , et liberabo populum meum de manu vestra , neque erunt ultra in manibus vestris ad praedandum : et scietis quia ego Dominus .
ወእሠጥጥ ፡ ጽጋዓቲክሙ ፡ ወአድኅን ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ እምእዴክሙ ፡ ወኢይገብኡ ፡ እንከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እዴክሙ ፡ ትገፍትዕዎሙ ፡ ወተአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
I will also tear your veils and deliver my people out of your hand; and they will no longer be in your hand to be ensnared. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.
13:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַ֣עַן הַכְא֤וֹת לֵב ־צַדִּיק֙ שֶׁ֔קֶר וַאֲנִ֖י לֹ֣א הִכְאַבְתִּ֑יו וּלְחַזֵּק֙ יְדֵ֣י רָשָׁ֔ע לְבִלְתִּי ־שׁ֛וּב מִדַּרְכּ֥וֹ הָרָ֖ע לְהַחֲיֹתֽוֹ ׃
ἀνθ’ ὧν διεστρέφετε καρδίαν δικαίου ἀδίκως καὶ ἐγὼ οὐ διέστρεφον αὐτὸν καὶ τοῦ κατισχῦσαι χεῖρας ἀνόμου τὸ καθόλου μὴ ἀποστρέψαι ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς καὶ ζῆσαι αὐτόν
Pro eo quod moerere fecistis cor justi mendaciter , quem ego non contristavi , et confortastis manus impii , ut non reverteretur a via sua mala , et viveret :
እስመ ፡ ሜጥክሙ ፡ ልበ ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ በዓመፃ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ ኢሜጥክዎ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታጽንዑ ፡ እደ ፡ ኃጥእ ፡ በዘኢይትመየጥ ፡ ለግሙራ ፡ እምፍኖቱ ፡ እኩይ ፡ ወይሕየው ።
Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive.
13:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן שָׁ֚וְא לֹ֣א תֶחֱזֶ֔ינָה וְקֶ֖סֶם לֹא ־תִקְסַ֣מְנָה ע֑וֹד וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י אֶת ־עַמִּי֙ מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ן וִידַעְתֶּ֖ן כִּֽי ־אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה ׃
διὰ τοῦτο ψευδῆ οὐ μὴ ἴδητε καὶ μαντείας οὐ μὴ μαντεύσησθε ἔτι καὶ ῥύσομαι τὸν λαόν μου ἐκ χειρὸς ὑμῶν καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος
propterea vana non videbitis , et divinationes non divinabitis amplius , et eruam populum meum de manu vestra : et scietis quia ego Dominus .
በበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ኢትኔጽሩ ፡ ሐሰተ ፡ ወኢታሰግሉ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ እንከ ፣፡ ወአድኅን ፡ ሕዝብየ ፡ እምእዴክሙ ፡ ወተአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’”
