3:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τούτου χάριν ἐγὼ Παῦλος ὁ δέσμιος τοῦ Χριστοῦ ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν τῶν ἐθνῶν
Hujus rei gratia , ego Paulus vinctus Christi Jesu , pro vobis gentibus ,
ወእንበይነዝ አነ ጳውሎስ ሙቁሑ ለክርስቶስ እንበይነ ዚኣክሙ አሕዛብ ።
For this cause I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles,
3:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ εἴγε ἠκούσατε τὴν οἰκονομίαν τῆς χάριτος τοῦ θεοῦ τῆς δοθείσης μοι εἰς ὑμᾶς ,
si tamen audistis dispensationem gratiae Dei , quae data est mihi in vobis :
ሶበሰ ሰማዕክሙ ሀብተ ጸጋሁ ለእግዚአብሔር ዘወሀበኒ በእንቲኣክሙ ።
if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you,
3:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὅτι κατὰ ἀποκάλυψιν ἐγνωρίσθη μοι τὸ μυστήριον , καθὼς προέγραψα ἐν ὀλίγῳ ,
quoniam secundum revelationem notum mihi factum est sacramentum , sicut supra scripsi in brevi ,
እስመ ከሠተ ሊተ ምክሮ ወአርአየኒ በከመ ጸሐፍኩ ለክሙ ኅዳጠ ።
how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
3:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ πρὸς ὃ δύνασθε ἀναγινώσκοντες νοῆσαι τὴν σύνεσίν μου ἐν τῷ μυστηρίῳ τοῦ Χριστοῦ ,
prout potestis legentes intelligere prudentiam meam in mysterio Christi :
በዘትክሉ አእምሮ ሶበ ታነብቡ ወተአምሩ ኅሊናየ በምክሩ ለክርስቶስ ።
by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
3:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὃ ἑτέραις γενεαῖς οὐκ ἐγνωρίσθη τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων ὡς νῦν ἀπεκαλύφθη τοῖς ἁγίοις ἀποστόλοις αὐτοῦ καὶ προφήταις ἐν πνεύματι ,
quod aliis generationibus non est agnitum filiis hominum , sicuti nunc revelatum est sanctis apostolis ejus et prophetis in Spiritu ,
ዘኢየአምሮ ካልእ ትውልድ ደቂቀ ዕጓለ እመሕያው ከመ ይእዜ ተከሥተ ለቅዱሳን ሐዋርያቲሁ ወነቢያቲሁ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ ።
which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,
3:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ εἶναι τὰ ἔθνη συνκληρονόμα καὶ σύνσωμα καὶ συνμέτοχα τῆς ἐπαγγελίας ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ διὰ τοῦ εὐαγγελίου ,
gentes esse cohaeredes , et concorporales , et comparticipes promissionis ejus in Christo Jesu per Evangelium :
ከመ ይረስዮሙ ለአሕዛብ መዋርስቲሁ ወሥጋሁ ወይኅበሩ ተስፋ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በትምህርተ ወንጌል ።
that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Good News,
3:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὗ ἐγενήθην διάκονος κατὰ τὴν δωρεὰν τῆς χάριτος τοῦ θεοῦ τῆς δοθείσης μοι κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ .
cujus factus sum minister secundum donum gratiae Dei , quae data est mihi secundum operationem virtutis ejus .
ዘሎቱ ተሠየምኩ አነ ላእከ ወዐዋዴ በከመ ሀብተ ጸጋሁ ዘወሀበኒ ሊተ በረድኤተ ኀይሉ ።
of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.
3:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐμοὶ τῷ ἐλαχιστοτέρῳ πάντων ἁγίων ἐδόθη ἡ χάρις αὕτη , τοῖς ἔθνεσιν εὐαγγελίσασθαι τὸ ἀνεξιχνίαστον πλοῦτος τοῦ Χριστοῦ ,
Mihi omnium sanctorum minimo data est gratia haec , in gentibus evangelizare investigabiles divitias Christi ,
ሊተ ዘአነ እቴሐት እምኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን ወሀበኒ ዘንተ ጸጋሁ ከመ እምሀሮሙ ለአሕዛብ ብዕለ ክርስቶስ ዘአልቦ አሠር ወአብርሀ ለኵሉ ።
To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
3:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ φωτίσαι τίς ἡ οἰκονομία τοῦ μυστηρίου τοῦ ἀποκεκρυμμένου ἀπὸ τῶν αἰώνων ἐν τῷ θεῷ τῷ τὰ πάντα κτίσαντι ,
et illuminare omnes , quae sit dispensatio sacramenti absconditi a saeculis in Deo , qui omnia creavit :
ምንት ውእቱ ሥርዐቱ ለዝንቱ ምክር ዘኅቡእ እምዓለም በኀበ እግዚአብሔር ዘኵሎ ፈጠረ ።
and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ,
3:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἵνα γνωρισθῇ νῦν ταῖς ἀρχαῖς καὶ ταῖς ἐξουσίαις ἐν τοῖς ἐπουρανίοις διὰ τῆς ἐκκλησίας ἡ πολυποίκιλος σοφία τοῦ θεοῦ ,
ut innotescat principatibus et potestatibus in caelestibus per Ecclesiam , multiformis sapientia Dei ,
ከመ ይእዜ ይትዐወቅ ለቀደምት ወለመኳንንት እለ በሰማያት በእንተ ቤተ ክርስቲያኑ ጥበቢሁ ለእግዚአብሔር እንተ ብዙኅ ኅበሪሃ ።
to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,
3:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ κατὰ πρόθεσιν τῶν αἰώνων ἣν ἐποίησεν ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν ,
secundum praefinitionem saeculorum , quam fecit in Christo Jesu Domino nostro :
ዘሠርዓ እምቅድመ ዓለም ወፈጸማ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እግዚእነ ።
according to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐν ᾧ ἔχομεν τὴν παρρησίαν καὶ προσαγωγὴν ἐν πεποιθήσει διὰ τῆς πίστεως αὐτοῦ .
in quo habemus fiduciam , et accessum in confidentia per fidem ejus .
ዘቦቱ ረከብነ ጸጋ ወሞገሰ ወመርሐነ ውስተ ተስፋ ዘሃይማኖት ።
In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.
3:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ Διὸ αἰτοῦμαι μὴ ἐνκακεῖν ἐν ταῖς θλίψεσίν μου ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν , ἥτις ἐστὶν δόξα ὑμῶν .
Propter quod peto ne deficiatis in tribulationibus meis pro vobis : quae est gloria vestra .
ወበእንተ ዝንቱ አስተበቍዖ ለእግዚአብሔር ከመ ኢይትቈጥዓ ለሕማምየ እንተ ረከበተኒ በእንቲኣክሙ ለክብርክሙ ።
Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart at my troubles for you, which are your glory.
3:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ τούτου χάριν κάμπτω τὰ γόνατά μου πρὸς τὸν πατέρα ,
Hujus rei gratia flecto genua mea ad Patrem Domini nostri Jesu Christi ,
ወእንበይነ ዝንቱ እሰግድ ለአብ በብረከ ልብየ ።
For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
3:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐξ οὗ πᾶσα πατριὰ ἐν οὐρανοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς ὀνομάζεται ,
ex quo omnis paternitas in caelis et in terra nominatur ,
ዘኪያሁ ይጼውዑ ኵሉ በሐውርት ዘበሰማያት ወዘበምድር ።
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
3:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἵνα δῷ ὑμῖν κατὰ τὸ πλοῦτος τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ δυνάμει κραταιωθῆναι διὰ τοῦ πνεύματος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν ἔσω ἄνθρωπον ,
ut det vobis secundum divitias gloriae suae , virtute corroborari per Spiritum ejus in interiorem hominem ,
ከመ የሀብክሙ በከመ ብዕለ ስብሐቲሁ ወያጽንዕክሙ በኀይለ መንፈስ ቅዱስ ።
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,
3:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ κατοικῆσαι τὸν Χριστὸν διὰ τῆς πίστεως ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν ,
Christum habitare per fidem in cordibus vestris : in caritate radicati , et fundati ,
እስመ እንተ ውስጡ ለሰብእ የኀድር ክርስቶስ በሃይማኖት ውስተ ልብክሙ በተፋቅሮ እንዘ ይከውን ጽኑዐ ሥርውክሙሂ ወመሠረትክሙሂ ።
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
3:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐν ἀγάπῃ ἐρριζωμένοι καὶ τεθεμελιωμένοι , ἵνα ἐξισχύσητε καταλαβέσθαι σὺν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἁγίοις τί τὸ πλάτος καὶ μῆκος καὶ βάθος καὶ ὕψος ,
ut possitis comprehendere cum omnibus sanctis , quae sit latitudo , et longitudo , et sublimitas , et profundum :
ከመ ትክሀሉ ረኪበ ምስለ ኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን ምንትኑ ራሕቡ ወኑኁ ወላዕሉ ወዕመቁ ።
may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth,
3:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ γνῶναί τε τὴν ὑπερβάλλουσαν τῆς γνώσεως ἀγάπην τοῦ Χριστοῦ , ἵνα πληρωθῆτε εἰς πᾶν τὸ πλήρωμα τοῦ θεοῦ .
scire etiam supereminentem scientiae caritatem Christi , ut impleamini in omnem plenitudinem Dei .
ለጠይቆ ብዝኀ አእምሮ ፍቅሩ ለክርስቶስ ከመ ትሰለጡ በኵሉ ፍጻሜ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
3:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τῷ δὲ δυναμένῳ ὑπὲρ πάντα ποιῆσαι ὑπερεκπερισσοῦ ὧν αἰτούμεθα ἢ νοοῦμεν κατὰ τὴν δύναμιν τὴν ἐνεργουμένην ἐν ἡμῖν ,
Ei autem , qui potens est omnia facere superabundanter quam petimus aut intelligimus , secundum virtutem , quae operatur in nobis :
ዘይክል አጽንዖተክሙ ትግበሩ ኵሎ ወታፈድፍዱ ዘንስእል ወዘንሔሊ በከመ ይረድአነ ኀይሉ ።
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
3:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ αὐτῷ ἡ δόξα ἐν τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ καὶ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ εἰς πάσας τὰς γενεὰς τοῦ αἰῶνος τῶν αἰώνων · ἀμήν .
ipsi gloria in Ecclesia , et in Christo Jesu , in omnes generationes saeculi saeculorum . Amen .
ዘሎቱ ስብሐት በቤተ ክርስቲያን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በኵሉ ትውልድ ወለዓለመ ዓለም አሜን ።
to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
