32:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַאֲזִ֥ינוּ הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וַאֲדַבֵּ֑רָה וְתִשְׁמַ֥ע הָאָ֖רֶץ אִמְרֵי ־פִֽי ׃
πρόσεχε οὐρανέ καὶ λαλήσω καὶ ἀκουέτω γῆ ῥήματα ἐκ στόματός μου
Audite , caeli , quae loquor : audiat terra verba oris mei .
አጽምእ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ [ወእንግር ፡] ወስማዕ ፡ ምድር ፡ ቃለ ፡ አፉየ ።
Give ear, you heavens, and I will speak. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
32:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַעֲרֹ֤ף כַּמָּטָר֙ לִקְחִ֔י תִּזַּ֥ל כַּטַּ֖ל אִמְרָתִ֑י כִּשְׂעִירִ֣ם עֲלֵי ־דֶ֔שֶׁא וְכִרְבִיבִ֖ים עֲלֵי ־עֵֽשֶׂב ׃
προσδοκάσθω ὡς ὑετὸς τὸ ἀπόφθεγμά μου καὶ καταβήτω ὡς δρόσος τὰ ῥήματά μου ὡσεὶ ὄμβρος ἐπ’ ἄγρωστιν καὶ ὡσεὶ νιφετὸς ἐπὶ χόρτον
Concrescat ut pluvia doctrina mea , fluat ut ros eloquium meum , quasi imber super herbam , et quasi stillae super gramina .
ወተወከፍዎ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዝናም ፡ ለነገርየ ፡ ወይወርድ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጠል ፡ ነቢብየ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዝናም ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገራህት ፡ ወከመ ፡ ጊሜ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሣዕር ።
My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will condense as the dew, as the misty rain on the tender grass, as the showers on the herb.
32:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֛י שֵׁ֥ם יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶקְרָ֑א הָב֥וּ גֹ֖דֶל לֵאלֹהֵֽינוּ ׃
ὅτι ὄνομα κυρίου ἐκάλεσα δότε μεγαλωσύνην τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν
Quia nomen Domini invocabo : date magnificentiam Deo nostro .
እስመ ፡ ስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጸዋዕኩ ፡ ሀቡ ፡ ዕበየ ፡ ለአምላክነ ።
For I will proclaim Yahweh’s name. Ascribe greatness to our God!
32:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַצּוּר֙ תָּמִ֣ים פׇּֽעֳל֔וֹ כִּ֥י כׇל ־דְּרָכָ֖יו מִשְׁפָּ֑ט אֵ֤ל אֱמוּנָה֙ וְאֵ֣ין עָ֔וֶל צַדִּ֥יק וְיָשָׁ֖ר הֽוּא ׃
θεός ἀληθινὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτοῦ κρίσεις θεὸς πιστός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀδικία δίκαιος καὶ ὅσιος κύριος
Dei perfecta sunt opera , et omnes viae ejus judicia : Deus fidelis , et absque ulla iniquitate , justus et rectus .
እግዚአብሔርሰ ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ በምግባሩ ፡ ወርቱዕ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ፍናዊሁ ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዐመፃ ፤ ጻድቅ ፡ ወኄር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
The Rock: his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness who does no wrong, just and right is he.
32:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ שִׁחֵ֥ת ל֛וֹ לֹ֖א בָּנָ֣יו מוּמָ֑ם דּ֥וֹר עִקֵּ֖שׁ וּפְתַלְתֹּֽל ׃
ἡμάρτοσαν οὐκ αὐτῷ τέκνα μωμητά γενεὰ σκολιὰ καὶ διεστραμμένη
Peccaverunt ei , et non filii ejus in sordibus : generatio prava atque perversa .
አበሱ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ርኩሳን ፤ ትውልድ ፡ ዕሉት ፡ ወግፍትእት ።
They have dealt corruptly with him. They are not his children, because of their defect. They are a perverse and crooked generation.
32:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַ לְיְהֹוָה֙* (בספרי תימן הַֽלְיהֹוָה֙ בתיבה אחת ) תִּגְמְלוּ ־זֹ֔את עַ֥ם נָבָ֖ל וְלֹ֣א חָכָ֑ם הֲלוֹא ־הוּא֙ אָבִ֣יךָ קָּנֶ֔ךָ ה֥וּא עָשְׂךָ֖ וַֽיְכֹנְנֶֽךָ ׃
ταῦτα κυρίῳ ἀνταποδίδοτε οὕτω λαὸς μωρὸς καὶ οὐχὶ σοφός οὐκ αὐτὸς οὗτός σου πατὴρ ἐκτήσατό σε καὶ ἐποίησέν σε καὶ ἔκτισέν σε
Haeccine reddis Domino , popule stulte et insipiens ? numquid non ipse est pater tuus , qui possedit te , et fecit , et creavit te ?
ከመዝኑ ፡ ተዐስይዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ዝሕዝብ ፡ አብድ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ጠቢብ ፤ አኮኑ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ አብ ፡ ዘፈጠረከ ፤ ፈጠረከኒ ፡ ወገብረከኒ ።
Is this the way you repay Yahweh, foolish and unwise people? Isn’t he your father who has bought you? He has made you and established you.
32:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ זְכֹר֙ יְמ֣וֹת עוֹלָ֔ם בִּ֖ינוּ שְׁנ֣וֹת דֹּר ־וָדֹ֑ר שְׁאַ֤ל אָבִ֙יךָ֙ וְיַגֵּ֔דְךָ זְקֵנֶ֖יךָ וְיֹ֥אמְרוּ לָֽךְ ׃
μνήσθητε ἡμέρας αἰῶνος σύνετε ἔτη γενεᾶς γενεῶν ἐπερώτησον τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ ἀναγγελεῖ σοι τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους σου καὶ ἐροῦσίν σοι
Memento dierum antiquorum , cogita generationes singulas : interroga patrem tuum , et annuntiabit tibi : majores tuos , et dicent tibi .
ተዘከሩ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ትካት ፡ ወሐልዩ ፡ ዓመተ ፡ ትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ፤ ተሰአሎ ፡ ለአቡከ ፡ ወይነግረከ ፡ ወለሊቃውንት ፡ ወይዜንውከ ።
Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.
32:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּהַנְחֵ֤ל עֶלְיוֹן֙ גּוֹיִ֔ם בְּהַפְרִיד֖וֹ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָ֑ם יַצֵּב֙ גְּבֻלֹ֣ת עַמִּ֔ים לְמִסְפַּ֖ר בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
ὅτε διεμέριζεν ὁ ὕψιστος ἔθνη ὡς διέσπειρεν υἱοὺς Αδαμ ἔστησεν ὅρια ἐθνῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ἀγγέλων θεοῦ
Quando dividebat Altissimus gentes , quando separabat filios Adam , constituit terminos populorum juxta numerum filiorum Israël .
አመ ፡ ከፈሎሙ ፡ ልዑል ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ ወዘከመ ፡ ዘርኦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ አዳም ፡ (ወ )ሠርዖሙ ፡ ለአሕዛብ ፡ በቦ ፡ ደወሎሙ ፤ ወበበ ፡ ኍልቆሙ ፡ [ለ ]መላእክተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the children of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.
32:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֛י חֵ֥לֶק יְהֹוָ֖ה עַמּ֑וֹ יַעֲקֹ֖ב חֶ֥בֶל נַחֲלָתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ ἐγενήθη μερὶς κυρίου λαὸς αὐτοῦ Ιακωβ σχοίνισμα κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ
Pars autem Domini , populus ejus : Jacob funiculus haereditatis ejus .
ወኮነ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ ሕዝቡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእስራኤልኒ ፡ ሐብለ ፡ ርስቱ ።
For Yahweh’s portion is his people. Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
32:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִמְצָאֵ֙הוּ֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִדְבָּ֔ר וּבְתֹ֖הוּ יְלֵ֣ל יְשִׁמֹ֑ן יְסֹבְבֶ֙נְהוּ֙ יְב֣וֹנְנֵ֔הוּ יִצְּרֶ֖נְהוּ כְּאִישׁ֥וֹן עֵינֽוֹ ׃
αὐτάρκησεν αὐτὸν ἐν γῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐν δίψει καύματος ἐν ἀνύδρῳ ἐκύκλωσεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐπαίδευσεν αὐτὸν καὶ διεφύλαξεν αὐτὸν ὡς κόραν ὀφθαλμοῦ
Invenit eum in terra deserta , in loco horroris , et vastae solitudinis : circumduxit eum , et docuit : et custodivit quasi pupillam oculi sui .
ወአጽገቦሙ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ገዳም ፡ በብሔረ ፡ ጽምእ ፡ ወሃፍ ፡ በብሔረ ፡ በድው ፡ ወመገቦሙ ፡ ወመርሖሙ ፡ ወዐቀቦሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ብንተ ፡ ዐይን ።
He found him in a desert land, in the waste howling wilderness. He surrounded him. He cared for him. He kept him as the apple of his eye.
32:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּנֶ֙שֶׁר֙ יָעִ֣יר קִנּ֔וֹ עַל ־גּוֹזָלָ֖יו יְרַחֵ֑ף יִפְרֹ֤שׂ כְּנָפָיו֙ יִקָּחֵ֔הוּ יִשָּׂאֵ֖הוּ עַל ־אֶבְרָתֽוֹ ׃
ὡς ἀετὸς σκεπάσαι νοσσιὰν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς νεοσσοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐπεπόθησεν διεὶς τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτοῦ ἐδέξατο αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀνέλαβεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τῶν μεταφρένων αὐτοῦ
Sicut aquila provocans ad volandum pullos suos , et super eos volitans , expandit alas suas , et assumpsit eum , atque portavit in humeris suis .
ከመ ፡ ንስር ፡ ያስተጋብእ ፡ እጐሊሁ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ ክነፊሁ ፡ ወከመ ፡ የሐቅፍ ፡ እጐሊሁ ፡ በገበዋቲሁ ፡ ወሐዘሎሙ ፡ በክነፊሁ ፡ ወጾሮሙ ፡ በእንግድዓሁ ።
As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, he spread abroad his wings, he took them, he bore them on his feathers.
32:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ יְהֹוָ֖ה בָּדָ֣ד יַנְחֶ֑נּוּ וְאֵ֥ין עִמּ֖וֹ אֵ֥ל נֵכָֽר ׃
κύριος μόνος ἦγεν αὐτούς καὶ οὐκ ἦν μετ’ αὐτῶν θεὸς ἀλλότριος
Dominus solus dux ejus fuit , et non erat cum eo deus alienus :
እግዚአብሔር ፡ ባሕቲቱ ፡ መርሖሙ ፡ ወኦልቦ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ አምላክ ፡ ነኪር ።
Yahweh alone led him. There was no foreign god with him.
32:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַרְכִּבֵ֙הוּ֙ עַל ־[בָּ֣מֳתֵי ] (במותי ) אָ֔רֶץ וַיֹּאכַ֖ל תְּנוּבֹ֣ת שָׂדָ֑י וַיֵּנִקֵ֤הֽוּ דְבַשׁ֙ מִסֶּ֔לַע וְשֶׁ֖מֶן מֵחַלְמִ֥ישׁ צֽוּר ׃
ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὴν ἰσχὺν τῆς γῆς ἐψώμισεν αὐτοὺς γενήματα ἀγρῶν ἐθήλασαν μέλι ἐκ πέτρας καὶ ἔλαιον ἐκ στερεᾶς πέτρας
constituit eum super excelsam terram , ut comederet fructus agrorum : ut sugeret mel de petra , oleumque de saxo durissimo ;
ወአዕረጎሙ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኀይላ ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወሴሰዮሙ ፡ እክለ ፡ ገራውህ ፡ ወሐፀኖሙ ፡ በመዓር ፡ እምኰኵሕ ፡ ወበቅብእ ፡ እምእብን ፡ ጽንዕት ።
He made him ride on the high places of the earth. He ate the increase of the field. He caused him to suck honey out of the rock, oil out of the flinty rock;
32:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ חֶמְאַ֨ת בָּקָ֜ר וַחֲלֵ֣ב צֹ֗אן עִם ־חֵ֨לֶב כָּרִ֜ים וְאֵילִ֤ים בְּנֵֽי ־בָשָׁן֙ וְעַתּוּדִ֔ים עִם ־חֵ֖לֶב כִּלְי֣וֹת חִטָּ֑ה וְדַם ־עֵנָ֖ב תִּשְׁתֶּה ־חָֽמֶר ׃
βούτυρον βοῶν καὶ γάλα προβάτων μετὰ στέατος ἀρνῶν καὶ κριῶν υἱῶν ταύρων καὶ τράγων μετὰ στέατος νεφρῶν πυροῦ καὶ αἷμα σταφυλῆς ἔπιον οἶνον
butyrum de armento , et lac de ovibus cum adipe agnorum , et arietum filiorum Basan : et hircos cum medulla tritici , et sanguinem uvae biberet meracissimum .
በቅብአ ፡ እጐልት ፡ ወበሐሊበ ፡ በግዕ ፡ ምስለ ፡ መቍዓለ ፡ ጠሊ ፡ ወላህም ፡ ወእጕለ ፡ አልህምት ፡ ወአባግዕ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ቄቅሐ ፡ ስርናይ ፡ ወደመ ፡ አስካል ፡ ሰትዩ ፡ ወይነ ።
butter from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest of the wheat. From the blood of the grape, you drank wine.
32:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ן יְשֻׁרוּן֙ וַיִּבְעָ֔ט שָׁמַ֖נְתָּ עָבִ֣יתָ כָּשִׂ֑יתָ וַיִּטֹּשׁ֙ אֱל֣וֹהַּ עָשָׂ֔הוּ וַיְנַבֵּ֖ל צ֥וּר יְשֻׁעָתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ ἔφαγεν Ιακωβ καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη καὶ ἀπελάκτισεν ὁ ἠγαπημένος ἐλιπάνθη ἐπαχύνθη ἐπλατύνθη καὶ ἐγκατέλιπεν θεὸν τὸν ποιήσαντα αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστη ἀπὸ θεοῦ σωτῆρος αὐτοῦ
Incrassatus est dilectus , et recalcitravit : incrassatus , impinguatus , dilatatus , dereliquit Deum factorem suum , et recessit a Deo salutari suo .
ወቦልዐ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወፀግበ ፡ ወከረዮ ፡ ጽጋብ ፡ ለምዙኅ ፤ ሠብሐ ፡ ወገዝፈ ፡ ወርኅበ ፤ ወኀደጎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈጣሪሁ ፡ ወርኅቀ ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር ፡ ሕይወቱ ።
But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked. You have grown fat. You have grown thick. You have become sleek. Then he abandoned God who made him, and rejected the Rock of his salvation.
32:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ יַקְנִאֻ֖הוּ בְּזָרִ֑ים בְּתוֹעֵבֹ֖ת יַכְעִיסֻֽהוּ ׃
παρώξυνάν με ἐπ’ ἀλλοτρίοις ἐν βδελύγμασιν αὐτῶν ἐξεπίκρανάν με
Provocaverunt eum in diis alienis , et in abominationibus ad iracundiam concitaverunt .
ወወሐኩኒ ፡ በዘ ፡ ነኪር ፡ ወአምረሩኒ ፡ በርኵሶሙ ።
They moved him to jealousy with strange gods. They provoked him to anger with abominations.
32:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ יִזְבְּח֗וּ לַשֵּׁדִים֙ לֹ֣א אֱלֹ֔הַּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לֹ֣א יְדָע֑וּם חֲדָשִׁים֙ מִקָּרֹ֣ב בָּ֔אוּ לֹ֥א שְׂעָר֖וּם אֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם ׃
ἔθυσαν δαιμονίοις καὶ οὐ θεῷ θεοῖς οἷς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν καινοὶ πρόσφατοι ἥκασιν οὓς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν
Immolaverunt daemoniis et non Deo , diis quos ignorabant : novi recentesque venerunt , quos non coluerunt patres eorum :
ወሦዑ ፡ ለአጋንንት ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፤ ለአማልክት ፡ እለ ፡ ኢያአምሩ ፤ አማልክተ ፡ ግብት ፡ እለ ፡ ኢይበቍዑ ፤ ወእለ ፡ ኢያአምሩ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ።
They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods that they didn’t know, to new gods that came up recently, which your fathers didn’t dread.
32:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ צ֥וּר יְלָדְךָ֖ תֶּ֑שִׁי וַתִּשְׁכַּ֖ח אֵ֥ל מְחֹלְלֶֽךָ ׃
θεὸν τὸν γεννήσαντά σε ἐγκατέλιπες καὶ ἐπελάθου θεοῦ τοῦ τρέφοντός σε
Deum qui te genuit dereliquisti , et oblitus es Domini creatoris tui .
ወኀደጎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘወለደከ ፡ ወረሳዕኮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘሐፀነከ ።
Of the Rock who became your father, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God who gave you birth.
32:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּ֥רְא יְהֹוָ֖ה וַיִּנְאָ֑ץ מִכַּ֥עַס בָּנָ֖יו וּבְנֹתָֽיו ׃
καὶ εἶδεν κύριος καὶ ἐζήλωσεν καὶ παρωξύνθη δῑ ὀργὴν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ θυγατέρων
Vidit Dominus , et ad iracundiam concitatus est : quia provocaverunt eum filii sui et filiae .
ወርእየ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወቀንአ ፤ ወተምዐ ፡ መዐተ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ደቂቆሙ ፡ ወአዋልዲሆሙ ።
Yahweh saw and abhorred, because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.
32:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אַסְתִּ֤ירָה פָנַי֙ מֵהֶ֔ם אֶרְאֶ֖ה מָ֣ה אַחֲרִיתָ֑ם כִּ֣י ד֤וֹר תַּהְפֻּכֹת֙ הֵ֔מָּה בָּנִ֖ים לֹא ־אֵמֻ֥ן בָּֽם ׃
καὶ εἶπεν ἀποστρέψω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἀπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ δείξω τί ἔσται αὐτοῖς ἐπ’ ἐσχάτων ὅτι γενεὰ ἐξεστραμμένη ἐστίν υἱοί οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν πίστις ἐν αὐτοῖς
Et ait : Abscondam faciem meam ab eis , et considerabo novissima eorum : generatio enim perversa est , et infideles filii .
ወይቤ ፡ እመይጥ ፡ ገጽየ ፡ አምኔሆሙ ፡ ወእሬእዮሙ ፡ ዘይከውኑ ፡ በደኃሪቶሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ትውልደ ፡ ዐላውያን ፡ እሙንቱ ፤ ውሉድ ፡ እለ ፡ አልቦሙ ፡ ሃይማኖተ ።
He said, “I will hide my face from them. I will see what their end will be; for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.
32:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֵ֚ם קִנְא֣וּנִי בְלֹא ־אֵ֔ל כִּעֲס֖וּנִי בְּהַבְלֵיהֶ֑ם וַֽאֲנִי֙ אַקְנִיאֵ֣ם בְּלֹא ־עָ֔ם בְּג֥וֹי נָבָ֖ל אַכְעִיסֵֽם ׃
αὐτοὶ παρεζήλωσάν με ἐπ’ οὐ θεῷ παρώργισάν με ἐν τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῶν κἀγὼ παραζηλώσω αὐτοὺς ἐπ’ οὐκ ἔθνει ἐπ’ ἔθνει ἀσυνέτῳ παροργιῶ αὐτούς
Ipsi me provocaverunt in eo qui non erat Deus , et irritaverunt in vanitatibus suis : et ego provocabo eos in eo qui non est populus , et in gente stulta irritabo illos .
እሙንቱ ፡ አቅንኡኒ ፡ በዘ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ወአምዕዑኒ ፡ በአማልክቲሆሙ ፤ አነ ፡ ኣቀንኦሙ ፡ በዘ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወኣምዕዖሙ ፡ በሕዝብ ፡ ዘኢይሌብው ።
They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities. I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
32:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּי ־אֵשׁ֙ קָדְחָ֣ה בְאַפִּ֔י וַתִּיקַ֖ד עַד ־שְׁא֣וֹל תַּחְתִּ֑ית וַתֹּ֤אכַל אֶ֙רֶץ֙ וִֽיבֻלָ֔הּ וַתְּלַהֵ֖ט מוֹסְדֵ֥י הָרִֽים ׃
ὅτι πῦρ ἐκκέκαυται ἐκ τοῦ θυμοῦ μου καυθήσεται ἕως ᾅδου κάτω καταφάγεται γῆν καὶ τὰ γενήματα αὐτῆς φλέξει θεμέλια ὀρέων
Ignis succensus est in furore meo , et ardebit usque ad inferni novissima : devorabitque terram cum germine suo , et montium fundamenta comburet .
እስመ ፡ እሳት ፡ ትነድድ ፡ እመዐትየ ፡ ወታውዒ ፡ እስከ ፡ ሲኦል ፡ ታሕቱ ፡ ወትበል [ዓ ] ፡ ለምድር ፡ ወለፍሬሃ ፡ ወይነድድ ፡ መሠረታተ ፡ አድባር ።
For a fire is kindled in my anger, that burns to the lowest Sheol, devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire.
32:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַסְפֶּ֥ה עָלֵ֖ימוֹ רָע֑וֹת חִצַּ֖י אֲכַלֶּה ־בָּֽם ׃
συνάξω εἰς αὐτοὺς κακὰ καὶ τὰ βέλη μου συντελέσω εἰς αὐτούς
Congregabo super eos mala , et sagittas meas complebo in eis .
ወአስተጋብኦሙ ፡ ለእኪት ፡ ወአኀልቅ ፡ አሕጻየ ፡ በላዕሌሆሙ ።
“I will heap evils on them. I will spend my arrows on them.
32:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ מְזֵ֥י רָעָ֛ב וּלְחֻ֥מֵי רֶ֖שֶׁף וְקֶ֣טֶב מְרִירִ֑י וְשֶׁן ־בְּהֵמֹת֙ אֲשַׁלַּח ־בָּ֔ם עִם ־חֲמַ֖ת זֹחֲלֵ֥י עָפָֽר ׃
τηκόμενοι λιμῷ καὶ βρώσει ὀρνέων καὶ ὀπισθότονος ἀνίατος ὀδόντας θηρίων ἀποστελῶ εἰς αὐτοὺς μετὰ θυμοῦ συρόντων ἐπὶ γῆς
Consumentur fame , et devorabunt eos aves morsu amarissimo : dentes bestiarum immittam in eos , cum furore trahentium super terram , atque serpentium .
ወየኀልቁ ፡ በረኃብ ፡ ወይከውኑ ፡ መብልዐ ፡ ለአዕዋፍ ፡ ወይደክም ፡ ጽንዖሙ ፤ ወእፌኑ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ ስነነ ፡ አራዊተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሕምዝ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይጕየዩ ፡ እምድር ።
They shall be wasted with hunger, and devoured with burning heat and bitter destruction. I will send the teeth of animals on them, with the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.
32:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִחוּץ֙ תְּשַׁכֶּל ־חֶ֔רֶב וּמֵחֲדָרִ֖ים אֵימָ֑ה גַּם ־בָּחוּר֙ גַּם ־בְּתוּלָ֔ה יוֹנֵ֖ק עִם ־אִ֥ישׁ שֵׂיבָֽה ׃
ἔξωθεν ἀτεκνώσει αὐτοὺς μάχαιρα καὶ ἐκ τῶν ταμιείων φόβος νεανίσκος σὺν παρθένῳ θηλάζων μετὰ καθεστηκότος πρεσβύτου
Foris vastabit eos gladius , et intus pavor , juvenem simul ac virginem , lactentem cum homine sene .
ወበአፍኣ ፡ ያጾምቶሙ ፡ መጥባኅት ፡ ለውሉዶሙ ፡ ወበውስተ ፡ አብያቲሆሙ ፡ ድንጋፄ ፤ ለወራዙቶሙ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ደናግሊሆሙ ፡ ወለሕፃናቲሆሙ ፡ ምስለ ፡ አእሩጊሆሙ ።
Outside the sword will bereave, and in the rooms, terror on both young man and virgin, the nursing infant with the gray-haired man.
32:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ אָמַ֖רְתִּי אַפְאֵיהֶ֑ם אַשְׁבִּ֥יתָה מֵאֱנ֖וֹשׁ זִכְרָֽם ׃
εἶπα διασπερῶ αὐτούς παύσω δὴ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῶν
Dixi : Ubinam sunt ? cessare faciam ex hominibus memoriam eorum .
ወእቤ ፡ ከመ ፡ እዝርዎሙ ፡ ወእስዐር ፡ እምድር ፡ ዝክሮሙ ፡ ወእምእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ።
I said that I would scatter them afar. I would make their memory to cease from among men;
32:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ לוּלֵ֗י כַּ֤עַס אוֹיֵב֙ אָג֔וּר פֶּֽן ־יְנַכְּר֖וּ צָרֵ֑ימוֹ פֶּן ־יֹֽאמְרוּ֙ יָדֵ֣נוּ רָ֔מָה וְלֹ֥א יְהֹוָ֖ה פָּעַ֥ל כׇּל ־זֹֽאת ׃
εἰ μὴ δῑ ὀργὴν ἐχθρῶν ἵνα μὴ μακροχρονίσωσιν καὶ ἵνα μὴ συνεπιθῶνται οἱ ὑπεναντίοι μὴ εἴπωσιν ἡ χεὶρ ἡμῶν ἡ ὑψηλὴ καὶ οὐχὶ κύριος ἐποίησεν ταῦτα πάντα
Sed propter iram inimicorum distuli : ne forte superbirent hostes eorum , et dicerent : Manus nostra excelsa , et non Dominus , fecit haec omnia .
በመዐተ ፡ ፀር ፡ ኮኑኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይትዐበዩ ፡ ፀር ፡ ወኢይበሉ ፡ እዴነ ፡ ጸንዐት ፡ ወአኮ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘገብሮ ፡ ለዝ ፡ ኵሉ ።
were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, lest their adversaries should judge wrongly, lest they should say, ‘Our hand is exalted; Yahweh has not done all this.’”
32:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּי ־ג֛וֹי אֹבַ֥ד עֵצ֖וֹת הֵ֑מָּה וְאֵ֥ין בָּהֶ֖ם תְּבוּנָֽה ׃
ὅτι ἔθνος ἀπολωλεκὸς βουλήν ἐστιν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐπιστήμη
Gens absque consilio est , et sine prudentia .
እስመ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ሕጉላነ ፡ ምክር ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ወአልቦሙ ፡ ምልሐ ፡ ወሃይማኖተ ።
For they are a nation void of counsel. There is no understanding in them.
32:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ ל֥וּ חָכְמ֖וּ יַשְׂכִּ֣ילוּ זֹ֑את יָבִ֖ינוּ לְאַחֲרִיתָֽם ׃
οὐκ ἐφρόνησαν συνιέναι ταῦτα καταδεξάσθωσαν εἰς τὸν ἐπιόντα χρόνον
Utinam saperent , et intelligerent , ac novissima providerent .
ወኢሐለይዎ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያእምርዎ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ወያእምርዎ ፡ በመዋዕል ፡ ዘይመጽእ ።
Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
32:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵיכָ֞ה יִרְדֹּ֤ף אֶחָד֙ אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׁנַ֖יִם יָנִ֣יסוּ רְבָבָ֑ה אִם ־לֹא֙ כִּֽי ־צוּרָ֣ם מְכָרָ֔ם וַֽיהֹוָ֖ה הִסְגִּירָֽם ׃
πῶς διώξεται εἷς χιλίους καὶ δύο μετακινήσουσιν μυριάδας εἰ μὴ ὁ θεὸς ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς καὶ κύριος παρέδωκεν αὐτούς
Quomodo persequatur unus mille , et duo fugent decem millia ? nonne ideo , quia Deus suus vendidit eos , et Dominus conclusit illos ?
እፎ ፡ ያነትዖሙ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ለዐሠርቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወክልኤቱ ፡ ይሰድድዎሙ ፡ ለእልፍ ፡ እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈደዮሙ ፡ ወአምላክነ ፡ አግብኦሙ ።
How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had delivered them up?
32:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֛י לֹ֥א כְצוּרֵ֖נוּ צוּרָ֑ם וְאֹיְבֵ֖ינוּ פְּלִילִֽים ׃
ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὡς ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν οἱ θεοὶ αὐτῶν οἱ δὲ ἐχθροὶ ἡμῶν ἀνόητοι
Non enim est Deus noster ut dii eorum : et inimici nostri sunt judices .
እስመ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ ከመ ፡ አምላክነ ፡ አማልክቲሆሙ ፡ ወፀርነሰ ፡ አብዳን ።
For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves concede.
32:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־מִגֶּ֤פֶן סְדֹם֙ גַּפְנָ֔ם וּמִשַּׁדְמֹ֖ת עֲמֹרָ֑ה עֲנָבֵ֙מוֹ֙ עִנְּבֵי ־ר֔וֹשׁ אַשְׁכְּלֹ֥ת מְרֹרֹ֖ת לָֽמוֹ ׃
ἐκ γὰρ ἀμπέλου Σοδομων ἡ ἄμπελος αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ κληματὶς αὐτῶν ἐκ Γομορρας ἡ σταφυλὴ αὐτῶν σταφυλὴ χολῆς βότρυς πικρίας αὐτοῖς
De vinea Sodomorum , vinea eorum , et de suburbanis Gomorrhae : uva eorum , uva fellis , et botri amarissimi .
እስመ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዐጸደ ፡ ወይነ ፡ ሶዶም ፡ ዐጸደ ፡ ወይኖሙ ፡ ወሐረጎሙኒ ፡ እምነ ፡ ጎሞራ ፡ ወአስካሎሙኒ ፡ አስካለ ፡ ሐሞት ፡ ወቀምኆሙኒ ፡ መሪር ።
For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are poison grapes. Their clusters are bitter.
32:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ חֲמַ֥ת תַּנִּינִ֖ם יֵינָ֑ם וְרֹ֥אשׁ פְּתָנִ֖ים אַכְזָֽר ׃
θυμὸς δρακόντων ὁ οἶνος αὐτῶν καὶ θυμὸς ἀσπίδων ἀνίατος
Fel draconum vinum eorum , et venenum aspidum insanabile .
ወሕምዘ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወይኖሙ ፡ ሕምዘ ፡ አፍዖት ፡ ዘይቀትል ።
Their wine is the poison of serpents, the cruel venom of asps.
32:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֲלֹא ־ה֖וּא כָּמֻ֣ס עִמָּדִ֑י חָת֖וּם בְּאוֹצְרֹתָֽי ׃
οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταῦτα συνῆκται παρ’ ἐμοὶ καὶ ἐσφράγισται ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς μου
Nonne haec condita sunt apud me , et signata in thesauris meis ?
አኮኑ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ትእዛዝ ፡ እምኀቤየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወተኀትመ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መዛግብትየ ።
“Isn’t this laid up in store with me, sealed up among my treasures?
32:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ לִ֤י נָקָם֙ וְשִׁלֵּ֔ם לְעֵ֖ת תָּמ֣וּט רַגְלָ֑ם כִּ֤י קָרוֹב֙ י֣וֹם אֵידָ֔ם וְחָ֖שׁ עֲתִדֹ֥ת לָֽמוֹ ׃
ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ἐκδικήσεως ἀνταποδώσω ἐν καιρῷ ὅταν σφαλῇ ὁ ποὺς αὐτῶν ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡμέρα ἀπωλείας αὐτῶν καὶ πάρεστιν ἕτοιμα ὑμῖν
Mea est ultio , et ego retribuam in tempore , ut labatur pes eorum : juxta est dies perditionis , et adesse festinant tempora .
በዕለተ ፡ ኵነኔ ፡ እትቤቀሎሙ ፡ ወበጊዜ ፡ ይዱሕፅ ፡ እግሮሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ቀርበ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ኅልቆሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ በጽሐ ፡ ወድልው ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ለክሙ ።
Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides, for the day of their calamity is at hand. Their doom rushes at them.”
32:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־יָדִ֤ין יְהֹוָה֙ עַמּ֔וֹ וְעַל ־עֲבָדָ֖יו יִתְנֶחָ֑ם כִּ֤י יִרְאֶה֙ כִּֽי ־אָ֣זְלַת יָ֔ד וְאֶ֖פֶס עָצ֥וּר וְעָזֽוּב ׃
ὅτι κρινεῖ κύριος τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ παρακληθήσεται εἶδεν γὰρ παραλελυμένους αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐκλελοιπότας ἐν ἐπαγωγῇ καὶ παρειμένους
Judicabit Dominus populum suum , et in servis suis miserebitur : videbit quod infirmata sit manus , et clausi quoque defecerunt , residuique consumpti sunt .
እስመ ፡ ይፈትሕ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሕዝቡ ፡ ወይትናበብ ፡ በእንተ ፡ አግብርቲሁ ፡ እስመ ፡ ርእዮሙ ፡ ተመስው ፡ ወኀልቁ ፡ ወተዘንጐጉ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ሀለው ።
For Yahweh will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, that there is no one remaining, shut up or left at large.
32:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאָמַ֖ר אֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֑ימוֹ צ֖וּר חָסָ֥יוּ בֽוֹ ׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ποῦ εἰσιν οἱ θεοὶ αὐτῶν ἐφ’ οἷς ἐπεποίθεισαν ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς
Et dicet : Ubi sunt dii eorum , in quibus habebant fiduciam ?
ወሶበ ፡ ሠርሑ ፡ ይቤ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አይቴ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ አማልክቲክሙ ፡ እለ ፡ ትትዌከሉ ፡ ቦሙ ።
He will say, “Where are their gods, the rock in which they took refuge,
32:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲשֶׁ֨ר חֵ֤לֶב זְבָחֵ֙ימוֹ֙ יֹאכֵ֔לוּ יִשְׁתּ֖וּ יֵ֣ין נְסִיכָ֑ם יָק֙וּמוּ֙ וְיַעְזְרֻכֶ֔ם יְהִ֥י עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם סִתְרָֽה ׃
ὧν τὸ στέαρ τῶν θυσιῶν αὐτῶν ἠσθίετε καὶ ἐπίνετε τὸν οἶνον τῶν σπονδῶν αὐτῶν ἀναστήτωσαν καὶ βοηθησάτωσαν ὑμῖν καὶ γενηθήτωσαν ὑμῖν σκεπασταί
de quorum victimis comedebant adipes , et bibebant vinum libaminum : surgant , et opitulentur vobis , et in necessitate vos protegant .
እለ ፡ ትበልዑ ፡ መሣብሕተ ፡ መሥዋዕቶሙ ፡ ወትሰትዩ ፡ ወይነ ፡ ሞጻሕቶሙ ፡ ለይትነሥኡ ፡ ወይርድኡክሙ ፡ ወለይኩኑክሙ ፡ መድኀኔክሙ ።
which ate the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you! Let them be your protection.
32:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ רְא֣וּ ׀ עַתָּ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י אֲנִי֙ ה֔וּא וְאֵ֥ין אֱלֹהִ֖ים עִמָּדִ֑י אֲנִ֧י אָמִ֣ית וַאֲחַיֶּ֗ה מָחַ֙צְתִּי֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אֶרְפָּ֔א וְאֵ֥ין מִיָּדִ֖י מַצִּֽיל ׃
ἴδετε ἴδετε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν θεὸς πλὴν ἐμοῦ ἐγὼ ἀποκτενῶ καὶ ζῆν ποιήσω πατάξω κἀγὼ ἰάσομαι καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς ἐξελεῖται ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν μου
Videte quod ego sim solus , et non sit alius deus praeter me : ego occidam , et ego vivere faciam : percutiam , et ego sanabo , et non est qui de manu mea possit eruere .
አእምሩ ፡ አእምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ አነ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ባዕደ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ዘእንበሌየ ፤ አነ ፡ እቀትል ፡ ወኣሐዩ ፤ እቀሥፍሂ ፤ ወእሣሀልሂ ፤ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘያመስጥ ፡ እምእዴየ ።
“See now that I myself am he. There is no god with me. I kill and I make alive. I wound and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.
32:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּֽי ־אֶשָּׂ֥א אֶל ־שָׁמַ֖יִם יָדִ֑י וְאָמַ֕רְתִּי חַ֥י אָנֹכִ֖י לְעֹלָֽם ׃
ὅτι ἀρῶ εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν τὴν χεῖρά μου καὶ ὀμοῦμαι τῇ δεξιᾷ μου καὶ ἐρῶ ζῶ ἐγὼ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα
Levabo ad caelum manum meam , et dicam : Vivo ego in aeternum .
እስመ ፡ ኣሌዕል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ እዴየ ፡ ወእምሕል ፡ በየማንየ ፡ ወእብል ፡ ሕያው ፡ አነ ፡ ለዓለም ።
For I lift up my hand to heaven and declare, as I live forever,
32:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ אִם ־שַׁנּוֹתִי֙ בְּרַ֣ק חַרְבִּ֔י וְתֹאחֵ֥ז בְּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט יָדִ֑י אָשִׁ֤יב נָקָם֙ לְצָרָ֔י וְלִמְשַׂנְאַ֖י אֲשַׁלֵּֽם ׃
ὅτι παροξυνῶ ὡς ἀστραπὴν τὴν μάχαιράν μου καὶ ἀνθέξεται κρίματος ἡ χείρ μου καὶ ἀνταποδώσω δίκην τοῖς ἐχθροῖς καὶ τοῖς μισοῦσίν με ἀνταποδώσω
Si acuero ut fulgur gladium meum , et arripuerit judicium manus mea : reddam ultionem hostibus meis , et his qui oderunt me retribuam .
ወአበልሖ ፡ ከመ ፡ መብረቅ ፡ ለመጥባሕትየ ፡ ወትቀውም ፡ እዴየ ፡ በኵነኔየ ፡ ወእትፈደዮሙ ፡ በቀለ ፡ ለፀርየ ፡ ወእትቤቀሎሙ ፡ ለጸላእትየ ።
if I sharpen my glittering sword, my hand grasps it in judgment; I will take vengeance on my adversaries, and will repay those who hate me.
32:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַשְׁכִּ֤יר חִצַּי֙ מִדָּ֔ם וְחַרְבִּ֖י תֹּאכַ֣ל בָּשָׂ֑ר מִדַּ֤ם חָלָל֙ וְשִׁבְיָ֔ה מֵרֹ֖אשׁ פַּרְע֥וֹת אוֹיֵֽב ׃
μεθύσω τὰ βέλη μου ἀφ’ αἵματος καὶ ἡ μάχαιρά μου καταφάγεται κρέα ἀφ’ αἵματος τραυματιῶν καὶ αἰχμαλωσίας ἀπὸ κεφαλῆς ἀρχόντων ἐχθρῶν
Inebriabo sagittas meas sanguine , et gladius meus devorabit carnes ; de cruore occisorum et de captivitate , nudati inimicorum capitis .
ወኣሰክሮን ፡ በደሞሙ ፡ ለአሕጻየ ፡ ወይበልዕ ፡ ሥጋሆሙ ፡ መጥባሕትየ ፡ እምደመ ፡ ቅቱላን ፡ ወወፂውዋን ፡ ወአርእስተ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ፀር ።
I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy.”
32:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַרְנִ֤ינוּ גוֹיִם֙ עַמּ֔וֹ כִּ֥י דַם ־עֲבָדָ֖יו יִקּ֑וֹם וְנָקָם֙ יָשִׁ֣יב לְצָרָ֔יו וְכִפֶּ֥ר אַדְמָת֖וֹ עַמּֽוֹ ׃ {פ}
εὐφράνθητε οὐρανοί ἅμα αὐτῷ καὶ προσκυνησάτωσαν αὐτῷ πάντες υἱοὶ θεοῦ εὐφράνθητε ἔθνη μετὰ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνισχυσάτωσαν αὐτῷ πάντες ἄγγελοι θεοῦ ὅτι τὸ αἷμα τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ ἐκδικᾶται καὶ ἐκδικήσει καὶ ἀνταποδώσει δίκην τοῖς ἐχθροῖς καὶ τοῖς μισοῦσιν ἀνταποδώσει καὶ ἐκκαθαριεῖ κύριος τὴν γῆν τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ
Laudate , gentes , populum ejus , quia sanguinem servorum suorum ulciscetur : et vindictam retribuet in hostes eorum , et propitius erit terrae populi sui .
ይትፌሣሕ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሰማያት ፡ ኅቡረ ፡ ወይሰግዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይትፌሥሑ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ ወይብሉ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጽኑዕ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይትቤቀል ፡ ደመ ፡ ደቂቁ ፤ ወይትቤቀል ፡ ወይትፈደዮሙ ፡ በቀለ ፡ ለፀሩ ፤ ወይትፈደዮሙ ፡ ለጸላእቱ ፡ ወያነጽሕ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ምድረ ፡ ለሕዝቡ ።
Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. He will take vengeance on his adversaries, and will make atonement for his land and for his people.
32:44 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּבֹ֣א מֹשֶׁ֗ה וַיְדַבֵּ֛ר אֶת ־כׇּל ־דִּבְרֵ֥י הַשִּׁירָֽה ־הַזֹּ֖את בְּאׇזְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם ה֖וּא וְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ בִּן ־נֽוּן ׃
καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυσῆς τὴν ᾠδὴν ταύτην ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ καὶ ἐδίδαξεν αὐτὴν τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐλάλησεν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτὸς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη
Venit ergo Moyses , et locutus est omnia verba cantici hujus in auribus populi , ipse et Josue filius Nun .
ወጸሐፋ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለዛቲ ፡ ማኅሌት ፡ በይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወመሐሮሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወቦአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወነገሮሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወኢየሱስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ነዌ ።
Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.
32:45 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְכַ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֗ה לְדַבֵּ֛ר אֶת ־כׇּל ־הַדְּבָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֶל ־כׇּל ־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ συνετέλεσεν Μωυσῆς λαλῶν παντὶ Ισραηλ
Complevitque omnes sermones istos , loquens ad universum Israël ,
ወሶበ ፡ አኅለቀ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ነጊሮቶሙ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ፤
Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel.
32:46 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵהֶם֙ שִׂ֣ימוּ לְבַבְכֶ֔ם לְכׇ֨ל ־הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י מֵעִ֥יד בָּכֶ֖ם הַיּ֑וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר תְּצַוֻּם֙ אֶת ־בְּנֵיכֶ֔ם לִשְׁמֹ֣ר לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת אֶת ־כׇּל ־דִּבְרֵ֖י הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּֽאת ׃
καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς προσέχετε τῇ καρδίᾳ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους οὓς ἐγὼ διαμαρτύρομαι ὑμῖν σήμερον ἃ ἐντελεῖσθε τοῖς υἱοῖς ὑμῶν φυλάσσειν καὶ ποιεῖν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου
et dixit ad eos : Ponite corda vestra in omnia verba , quae ego testificor vobis hodie : ut mandetis ea filiis vestris custodire et facere , et implere universa quae scripta sunt legis hujus :
ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ተዓቀብዎ ፡ በልብክሙ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ነገር ፡ ዘአስማዕኩ ፡ አነ ፡ ላዕሌክሙ ፡ ዮም ፡ ዘትኤዝዙ ፡ ለደቂቅክሙ ፡ ዮም ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዕቀቡ ፡ ወይግበሩ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ነገሮ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ሕግ ።
He said to them, “Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you today, which you shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
32:47 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֠י לֹא ־דָבָ֨ר רֵ֥ק הוּא֙ מִכֶּ֔ם כִּי ־ה֖וּא חַיֵּיכֶ֑ם וּבַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה תַּאֲרִ֤יכוּ יָמִים֙ עַל ־הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתֶּ֜ם עֹבְרִ֧ים אֶת ־הַיַּרְדֵּ֛ן שָׁ֖מָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ ׃ {פ}
ὅτι οὐχὶ λόγος κενὸς οὗτος ὑμῖν ὅτι αὕτη ἡ ζωὴ ὑμῶν καὶ ἕνεκεν τοῦ λόγου τούτου μακροημερεύσετε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ιορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομῆσαι αὐτήν
quia non incassum praecepta sunt vobis , sed ut singuli in eis viverent : quae facientes longo perseveretis tempore in terra , ad quam , Jordane transmisso , ingredimini possidendam .
እስመ ፡ [ኢ ]ከንቱ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ነገር ፡ ለክሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሕይወትክሙ ፡ ወበበይነ [ዝ ] ፡ ነገር ፡ ይነውኅ ፡ መዋዕሊክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ ላቲ ፡ ተዐድው ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትትዋረስዋ ፡ በህየ ።
For it is no vain thing for you, because it is your life, and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over the Jordan to possess it.”
32:48 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֔ה בְּעֶ֛צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ λέγων
Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen in eadem die , dicens :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ በይእቲ ፡ ዕለት ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses that same day, saying,
32:49 ⧉ ⤴︎ עֲלֵ֡ה אֶל ־הַר֩ הָעֲבָרִ֨ים הַזֶּ֜ה הַר ־נְב֗וֹ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל ־פְּנֵ֣י יְרֵח֑וֹ וּרְאֵה֙ אֶת ־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנִ֥י נֹתֵ֛ן לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַאֲחֻזָּֽה ׃
ἀνάβηθι εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ Αβαριν τοῦτο ὄρος Ναβαυ ὅ ἐστιν ἐν γῇ Μωαβ κατὰ πρόσωπον Ιεριχω καὶ ἰδὲ τὴν γῆν Χανααν ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ εἰς κατάσχεσιν
Ascende in montem istum Abarim , id est , transitum , in montem Nebo , qui est in terra Moab contra Jericho : et vide terram Chanaan , quam ego tradam filiis Israël obtinendam , et morere in monte .
ዕረግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ አባሪም ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ና [በው ] ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ሞአብ ፡ ዘመንገለ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ኢያሪኮ ፡ ወርእያ ፡ ለምድረ ፡ ከናአን ፡ እንተ ፡ እሁቦሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ይምልክዋ ።
“Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is across from Jericho; and see the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel for a possession.
32:50 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמֻ֗ת בָּהָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אַתָּה֙ עֹלֶ֣ה שָׁ֔מָּה וְהֵאָסֵ֖ף אֶל ־עַמֶּ֑יךָ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר ־מֵ֞ת אַהֲרֹ֤ן אָחִ֙יךָ֙ בְּהֹ֣ר הָהָ֔ר וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף אֶל ־עַמָּֽיו ׃
καὶ τελεύτα ἐν τῷ ὄρει εἰς ὃ ἀναβαίνεις ἐκεῖ καὶ προστέθητι πρὸς τὸν λαόν σου ὃν τρόπον ἀπέθανεν Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἐν Ωρ τῷ ὄρει καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ
Quem conscendens jungeris populis tuis , sicut mortuus est Aaron frater tuus in monte Hor , et appositus populis suis :
ወሙት ፡ በውስተ ፡ ደብር ፡ ዘውስቴቱ ፡ ተዐርግ ፡ ህየ ፡ ወእቱ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሕዝብከ ፡ በከመ ፡ ሞተ ፡ አሮን ፡ እኁከ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ሆር ፡ ወአተወ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ሕዝቡ ።
Die on the mountain where you go up, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor, and was gathered to his people;
32:51 ⧉ ⤴︎ עַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר מְעַלְתֶּ֜ם בִּ֗י בְּתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּמֵֽי ־מְרִיבַ֥ת קָדֵ֖שׁ מִדְבַּר ־צִ֑ן עַ֣ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא ־קִדַּשְׁתֶּם֙ אוֹתִ֔י בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
διότι ἠπειθήσατε τῷ ῥήματί μου ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τοῦ ὕδατος ἀντιλογίας Καδης ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σιν διότι οὐχ ἡγιάσατέ με ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ
quia praevaricati estis contra me in medio filiorum Israël ad aquas contradictionis in Cades deserti Sin : et non sanctificastis me inter filios Israël .
እስመ ፡ ክሕድክሙ ፡ በቃልየ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በውእደ ፡ ማየ ፡ ቅሥት ፡ በቃዴስ ፡ በገዳም ፡ ዘ [ፂን ፡] እስመ ፡ ኢቀደስክሙኒ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.
32:52 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֥י מִנֶּ֖גֶד תִּרְאֶ֣ה אֶת ־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְשָׁ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֣א תָב֔וֹא אֶל ־הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר ־אֲנִ֥י נֹתֵ֖ן לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃ {פ}
ὅτι ἀπέναντι ὄψῃ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐκεῖ οὐκ εἰσελεύσῃ
E contra videbis terram , et non ingredieris in eam , quam ego dabo filiis Israël .
ወርእያ ፡ ለይእቲ ፡ ምድር ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ ወህየሰ ፡ ኢትበውእ ።
For you shall see the land from a distance; but you shall not go there into the land which I give the children of Israel.”
