9:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכׇל ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הִתְיַחְשׂ֔וּ וְהִנָּ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֔ים עַל ־סֵ֖פֶר מַלְכֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וִיהוּדָ֛ה הׇגְל֥וּ לְבָבֶ֖ל בְּמַעֲלָֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ὁ συλλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν καὶ οὗτοι καταγεγραμμένοι ἐν βιβλίῳ τῶν βασιλέων Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα μετὰ τῶν ἀποικισθέντων εἰς Βαβυλῶνα ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν
Universus ergo Israël dinumeratus est , et summa eorum scripta est in libro regum Israël et Juda : translatique sunt in Babylonem propter delictum suum .
ወተኈለቁ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወጽሑፋን ፡ በመጽሐፈ ፡ ነገሥተ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወእስራኤል ፡ ወእምድኅረ ፡ ተፄወዉ ፡ ወፈለሱ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ባቢሎን ፡ በእንተ ፡ ኃጢአቶሙ ።
So all Israel were listed by genealogies; and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.
9:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּאֲחֻזָּתָ֖ם בְּעָרֵיהֶ֑ם יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים הַלְוִיִּ֖ם וְהַנְּתִינִֽים ׃
καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες πρότερον ἐν ταῖς κατασχέσεσιν αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν Ισραηλ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ δεδομένοι
Qui autem habitaverunt primi in possessionibus et in urbibus suis : Israël , et sacerdotes , et Levitae , et Nathinaei .
ወእለኒ ፡ የኃድሩ ፡ እምቅድም ፡ ውስተ ፡ አድዋሊሆሙ ፡ በአህጉረ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ካህናትኒ ፡ ወሌዋውያንኒ ፡ ወእለ ፡ ተውህቡ ፡ ይኅድሩ ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም ።
Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.
9:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבִירוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ יָֽשְׁב֔וּ מִן ־בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֥י אֶפְרַ֖יִם וּמְנַשֶּֽׁה ׃
καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ κατῴκησαν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμιν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση
Commorati sunt in Jerusalem de filiis Juda , et de filiis Benjamin , de filiis quoque Ephraim , et Manasse .
እም ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወእም ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ብንያም ፡ ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ኤፍሬም ፡ ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ምናሴ ።
In Jerusalem, there lived of the children of Judah, of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh:
9:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ עוּתַ֨י בֶּן ־עַמִּיה֤וּד בֶּן ־עׇמְרִי֙ בֶּן ־אִמְרִ֣י בֶן ־(בנימן )־[בָּנִ֔י מִן ־]בְּנֵי ־פֶ֖רֶץ בֶּן ־יְהוּדָֽה ׃ {ס}
Γωθι υἱὸς Αμμιουδ υἱοῦ Αμρι υἱοῦ υἱῶν Φαρες υἱοῦ Ιουδα
Othei filius Ammiud , filii Amri , filii Omrai , filii Bonni , de filiis Phares filii Juda .
ወኡታይ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አምዩድ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አምሪ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ቡኒ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ውሉዱ ፡ ለፋሬስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ይሁዳ ።
Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
9:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־הַשִּׁ֣ילוֹנִ֔י עֲשָׂיָ֥ה הַבְּכ֖וֹר וּבָנָֽיו ׃
καὶ ἐκ τῶν Σηλωνι Ασαια πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ
Et de Siloni : Asaia primogenitus , et filii ejus .
ወእምሴሎኒ ፡ ተወልደ ፡ ወልድ ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ወሰመየ ፡ ስሞዓሤያ ።
Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
9:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־בְּנֵי ־זֶ֖רַח יְעוּאֵ֑ל וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם שֵׁשׁ ־מֵא֥וֹת וְתִשְׁעִֽים ׃
ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ζαρα Ιιηλ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἑξακόσιοι καὶ ἐνενήκοντα
De filiis autem Zara , Jehuel , et fratres eorum , sexcenti nonaginta .
ወተወልዱ ፡ እምደቂቀ ፡ ዛራ ፡ ኢያሄል ፡ ወአኃዊሁ ፡ ስድስቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወተስዓ ።
Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
9:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֖י בִּנְיָמִ֑ן סַלּוּא֙ בֶּן ־מְשֻׁלָּ֔ם בֶּן ־הוֹדַוְיָ֖ה בֶּן ־הַסְּנֻאָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμιν Σαλω υἱὸς Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Ωδουια υἱοῦ Σαναα
Porro de filiis Benjamin : Salo filius Mosollam , filii Oduia , filii Asana ,
ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ብንያም ፡ ሳሊ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ወሙሳላም ፡ ወልዱ ፡ አዶይያ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ አሱናኦ ፡ ወልዱ ።
Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
9:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיִבְנְיָה֙ בֶּן ־יְרֹחָ֔ם וְאֵלָ֥ה בֶן ־עֻזִּ֖י בֶּן ־מִכְרִ֑י וּמְשֻׁלָּם֙ בֶּן ־שְׁפַטְיָ֔ה בֶּן ־רְעוּאֵ֖ל בֶּן ־יִבְנִיָּֽה ׃
καὶ Ιβαναα υἱὸς Ιρααμ καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Οζι υἱοῦ Μαχιρ καὶ Μασσαλημ υἱὸς Σαφατια υἱοῦ Ραγουηλ υἱοῦ Βαναια
et Jobania filius Jeroham , et Ela filius Ozi , filii Mochori , et Mosollam filius Saphatiae , filii Rahuel , filii Jebaniae ,
ወኢያብንኣ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ኢየአሩአም ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ኢዝ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ሞካሪ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ወመሰሎም ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ሰፋጥያ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ራጉኤል ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ያብናኢ ፡ ወልዱ ።
and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri; and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽאֲחֵיהֶם֙ לְתֹ֣לְדוֹתָ֔ם תְּשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֑ה כׇּל ־אֵ֣לֶּה אֲנָשִׁ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֖וֹת לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἐννακόσιοι πεντήκοντα ἕξ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες ἄρχοντες πατριῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν
et fratres eorum per familias suas , nongenti quinquaginta sex . Omnes hi principes cognationum per domos patrum suorum .
ወአኃዊሆሙ ፡ በበልደቶሙ ፡ ተስዓቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወኃምሳ ፡ ወስድስቱ ፡ ወእሉ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ እደው ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ።
and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of fathers’ households by their fathers’ houses.
9:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־הַֽכֹּהֲנִ֑ים יְדַעְיָ֥ה וִיהוֹיָרִ֖יב וְיָכִֽין ׃
καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἱερέων Ιωδαε καὶ Ιωαριμ καὶ Ιαχιν
De sacerdotibus autem : Jedaia , Jojarib , et Jachin :
ወእምካህናት ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ዮዳኤ ፡ ወዮአሪብ ፡ ወያኪን ።
Of the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jachin,
9:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַעֲזַרְיָ֨ה בֶן ־חִלְקִיָּ֜ה בֶּן ־מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם בֶּן ־צָד֗וֹק בֶּן ־מְרָיוֹת֙ בֶּן ־אֲחִיט֔וּב נְגִ֖יד בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים ׃ {ס}
καὶ Αζαρια υἱὸς Χελκια υἱοῦ Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Σαδωκ υἱοῦ Μαραιωθ υἱοῦ Αχιτωβ ἡγούμενος οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ
Azarias quoque filius Helciae , filii Mosollam , filii Sadoc , filii Maraioth , filii Achitob , pontifex domus Dei .
ወአዛርያስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኬልቅዩስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሜሱላም ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሳዶቅ ፡ ወልደ ፡ መራዮት ፡ ወልደ ፡ አኪጦብ ፡ መጋቤ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ።
and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of God’s house;
9:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַעֲדָיָה֙ בֶּן ־יְרֹחָ֔ם בֶּן ־פַּשְׁח֖וּר בֶּן ־מַלְכִּיָּ֑ה וּמַעְשַׂ֨י בֶּן ־עֲדִיאֵ֧ל בֶּן ־יַחְזֵ֛רָה בֶּן ־מְשֻׁלָּ֥ם בֶּן ־מְשִׁלֵּמִ֖ית בֶּן ־אִמֵּֽר ׃
καὶ Αδαια υἱὸς Ιρααμ υἱοῦ Πασχωρ υἱοῦ Μαλχια καὶ Μαασαια υἱὸς Αδιηλ υἱοῦ Ιεδιου υἱοῦ Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Μασελμωθ υἱοῦ Εμμηρ
Porro Adaias filius Jeroham , filii Phassur , filii Melchiae , et Maasai filius Adiel filii Jezra , filii Mosollam , filii Mosollamith , filii Emmer .
ወአኪጦብ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አብድያስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኢዮራም ፡ ወልደ ፡ ፓስካር ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሚልክዩስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ማሴ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኤድሄል ፡ ወልደ ፡ አዛርያስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሜሱላም ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ለሜሱላሞት ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሚር ።
and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah; and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
9:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַאֲחֵיהֶ֗ם רָאשִׁים֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וְשִׁשִּׁ֑ים גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חֵ֔יל מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית ־הָאֱלֹהִֽים ׃
καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν χίλιοι ἑπτακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει εἰς ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ
Fratres quoque eorum principes per familias suas , mille septingenti sexaginta , fortissimi robore ad faciendum opus ministerii in domo Dei .
ወአኊኆሙ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ዓሠርቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወሰብዓቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወሰብዐ ፡ እደው ፡ ጽኑዓን ፡ በኃይል ፡ በግብረ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ።
and their brothers, heads of their fathers’ houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; they were very able men for the work of the service of God’s house.
9:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִֽן ־הַלְוִיִּ֑ם שְׁמַֽעְיָ֧ה בֶן ־חַשּׁ֛וּב בֶּן ־עַזְרִיקָ֥ם בֶּן ־חֲשַׁבְיָ֖ה מִן ־בְּנֵ֥י מְרָרִֽי ׃
καὶ ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν Σαμαια υἱὸς Ασωβ υἱοῦ Εσρικαμ υἱοῦ Ασαβια ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι
De Levitis autem : Semeia filius Hassub filii Ezricam , filii Hasebia de filiis Merari .
ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ሌዋውያን ፡ ሳምያ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሳብ ፡ ወልሰ ፡ አዝሪቃም ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሳብያ ።
Of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
9:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבַקְבַּקַּ֥ר חֶ֖רֶשׁ וְגָלָ֑ל וּמַתַּנְיָה֙ בֶּן ־מִיכָ֔א בֶּן ־זִכְרִ֖י בֶּן ־אָסָֽף ׃
καὶ Βακβακαρ καὶ Αρης καὶ Γαλαλ καὶ Μανθανιας υἱὸς Μιχα υἱοῦ Ζεχρι υἱοῦ Ασαφ
Bacbacar quoque carpentarius , et Galal , et Mathania filius Micha , filii Zechri , filii Asaph :
ወእምደቂቀ ፡ ሜራሪ ፡ ወበቅበቃር ፡ ወአርሳ ፡ ወጎልያል ፡ ወምንታንያስ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ለሚካ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዝክሪ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሳፍ ።
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph,
9:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעֹֽבַדְיָה֙ בֶּֽן ־שְׁמַעְיָ֔ה בֶּן ־גָּלָ֖ל בֶּן ־יְדוּת֑וּן וּבֶרֶכְיָ֤ה בֶן ־אָסָא֙ בֶּן ־אֶלְקָנָ֔ה הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּחַצְרֵ֥י נְטוֹפָתִֽי ׃
καὶ Αβδια υἱὸς Σαμια υἱοῦ Γαλαλ υἱοῦ Ιδιθων καὶ Βαραχια υἱὸς Οσσα υἱοῦ Ηλκανα ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις Νετωφατι
et Obdia filius Semeiae , filii Galal , filii Idithun : et Barachia filius Asa , filii Elcana , qui habitavit in atriis Netophati .
ወአሳፍ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አብድያ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሰማኢዩ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ጋላል ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኤዱታን ፡ ወልደ ፡ በራክያ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሣ ፡ ወልደ ፡ እልቃና ፡ ዘኃደረ ፡ በአዕፃዳተ ፡ ናጡፋጢ ።
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
9:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהַשֹּֽׁעֲרִים֙ שַׁלּ֣וּם וְעַקּ֔וּב וְטַלְמֹ֖ן וַאֲחִימָ֑ן וַאֲחִיהֶ֥ם שַׁלּ֖וּם הָרֹֽאשׁ ׃
οἱ πυλωροί Σαλωμ καὶ Ακουβ καὶ Ταλμαν καὶ Αιμαν καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν Σαλωμ ὁ ἄρχων
Janitores autem : Sellum , et Accub , et Telmon , et Ahimam : et frater eorum Sellum princeps ,
ወዓቀብተ ፡ አናቅጽ ፡ ሰሎም ፡ ወዓቁብ ፡ ወጤልሞን ፡ ወአሒማን ።
The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),
9:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְֽעַד ־הֵ֔נָּה בְּשַׁ֥עַר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מִזְרָ֑חָה הֵ֚מָּה הַשֹּׁ֣עֲרִ֔ים לְמַחֲנ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי ׃
καὶ ἕως ταύτης ἐν τῇ πύλῃ τοῦ βασιλέως κατ’ ἀνατολάς αὗται αἱ πύλαι τῶν παρεμβολῶν υἱῶν Λευι
usque ad illud tempus , in porta regis ad orientem , observabant per vices suas de filiis Levi .
ወእኁሆሙ ፡ ሳሎን ፡ መልአክ ፡ እስከ ፡ ይበጽሕ ፡ አንቀጸ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ መንገለ ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ አንቀጸ ፡ ትዕይንተ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ።
who previously served in the king’s gate eastward. They were the gatekeepers for the camp of the children of Levi.
9:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשַׁלּ֣וּם בֶּן ־ק֠וֹרֵ֠א בֶּן ־אֶבְיָסָ֨ף בֶּן ־קֹ֜רַח וְֽאֶחָ֧יו לְבֵית ־אָבִ֣יו הַקׇּרְחִ֗ים עַ֚ל מְלֶ֣אכֶת הָעֲבוֹדָ֔ה שֹׁמְרֵ֥י הַסִּפִּ֖ים לָאֹ֑הֶל וַאֲבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ עַל ־מַחֲנֵ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה שֹׁמְרֵ֖י הַמָּבֽוֹא ׃
καὶ Σαλωμ υἱὸς Κωρη υἱοῦ Αβιασαφ υἱοῦ Κορε καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς οἶκον πατρὸς αὐτοῦ οἱ Κορῖται ἐπὶ τῶν ἔργων τῆς λειτουργίας φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῆς παρεμβολῆς κυρίου φυλάσσοντες τὴν εἴσοδον
Sellum vero filius Core filii Abiasaph , filii Core , cum fratribus suis , et domo patris sui , hi sunt Coritae super opera ministerii , custodes vestibulorum tabernaculi : et familiae eorum per vices castrorum Domini custodientes introitum .
ወሰሎም ፡ ወልደ ፡ ቆሬ :፡ ወልደ ፡ አብያሳፍ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወአኃዊሁ ፡ በቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ቆራውያን ፡ በዲበ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ክህነት ፡ እንዘ ፡ የዓቅቡ ፡ ዓቀብተ ፡ ማኅደር ፡ ወአበዊሆሙ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ትዕይንተ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ፡ የዓቅቡ ፡ መባአ ።
Shallum was the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent. Their fathers had been over Yahweh’s camp, keepers of the entry.
9:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּפִֽינְחָ֣ס בֶּן ־אֶלְעָזָ֗ר נָגִ֨יד הָיָ֧ה עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם לְפָנִ֖ים יְהֹוָ֥ה ׀עִמּֽוֹ ׃
καὶ Φινεες υἱὸς Ελεαζαρ ἡγούμενος ἦν ἐπ’ αὐτῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ οὗτοι μετ’ αὐτοῦ
Phinees autem filius Eleazari erat dux eorum coram Domino .
ወፊንሐስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አልአዛር ፡ ኮነ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ መጋቤ ፡ በቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ።
Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and Yahweh was with him.
9:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ זְכַרְיָה֙ בֶּ֣ן מְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֔ה שֹׁעֵ֥ר פֶּ֖תַח לְאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד ׃
Ζαχαριας υἱὸς Μασαλαμι πυλωρὸς τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
Porro Zacharias filius Mosollamia , janitor portae tabernaculi testimonii .
ወእሉኒ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ዘካርያስ ፡ ወወልደ ፡ መሰሎም ፡ ዓቃቤ ፡ አንቀጸ ፡ ማኅደር ፡ ዘቤተ ፡ ስምዕ ።
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the door of the Tent of Meeting.
9:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ כֻּלָּ֤ם הַבְּרוּרִים֙ לְשֹׁעֲרִ֣ים בַּסִּפִּ֔ים מָאתַ֖יִם וּשְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑ר הֵ֤מָּה בְחַצְרֵיהֶם֙ הִתְיַחְשָׂ֔ם הֵ֣מָּה יִסַּ֥ד דָּוִ֛יד וּשְׁמוּאֵ֥ל הָרֹאֶ֖ה בֶּאֱמוּנָתָֽם ׃
πάντες οἱ ἐκλεκτοὶ ταῖς πύλαις ἐν ταῖς πύλαις διακόσιοι καὶ δέκα δύο οὗτοι ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν ὁ καταλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν τούτους ἔστησεν Δαυιδ καὶ Σαμουηλ ὁ βλέπων τῇ πίστει αὐτῶν
Omnes hi electi in ostiarios per portas , ducenti duodecim : et descripti in villis propriis , quos constituerunt David , et Samuel videns , in fide sua ,
ወኵሎሙ ፡ ኅሩያን ፡ በአንቀጸ ፡ ክልኤቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወዓሠርቱ ፡ ወክልኤቱ ፡ ወበበኍልቆሙ ፡ ወእሎንተ ፡ ዓቀሙ ፡ ዳዊት ፡ ወሳሙኤል ፡ ራአይ ፡ ዘበትርጓሜሁ ፡ ነቢይ ፡ እስመ ፡ ምእመናን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ወእሉ ፡ ስሙያን ።
All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred twelve. These were listed by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer ordained in their office of trust.
9:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהֵ֨ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֜ם עַל ־הַשְּׁעָרִ֧ים לְבֵית ־יְהֹוָ֛ה לְבֵ֥ית הָאֹ֖הֶל לְמִשְׁמָרֽוֹת ׃
καὶ οὗτοι καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν πυλῶν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν οἴκῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ φυλάσσειν
tam ipsos quam filios eorum , in ostiis domus Domini et in tabernaculo vicibus suis .
ወእሉ ፡ ደቂቆሙ ፡ ዲበ ፡ አንቀጸ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ፡ በቤተ ፡ ስምዕ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይዕቀቡ ።
So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of Yahweh’s house, even the house of the tent, as guards.
9:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ לְאַרְבַּ֣ע רוּח֔וֹת יִהְי֖וּ הַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים מִזְרָ֥ח יָ֖מָּה צָפ֥וֹנָה וָנֶֽגְבָּה ׃
κατὰ τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀνέμους ἦσαν αἱ πύλαι κατ’ ἀνατολάς θάλασσαν βορρᾶν νότον
Per quatuor ventos erant ostiarii : id est , ad orientem , et ad occidentem , et ad aquilonem , et ad austrum .
ወበኍልቈ ፡ አርባዕቱ ፡ ነፋሳት ፡ ዓቀሙ ፡ አንቀጸ ፡ መንገለ ፡ ጽባሕ ፡ ወዘመንገለ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወምዕራብ ፡ ወሰሜን ፡ ወዘመንገለ ፡ ደቡብ ።
On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
9:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַאֲחֵיהֶ֨ם בְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֜ם לָב֨וֹא לְשִׁבְעַ֧ת הַיָּמִ֛ים מֵעֵ֥ת אֶל ־עֵ֖ת עִם ־אֵֽלֶּה ׃
καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν τοῦ εἰσπορεύεσθαι κατὰ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀπὸ καιροῦ εἰς καιρὸν μετὰ τούτων
Fratres autem eorum in viculis morabantur , et veniebant in sabbatis suis de tempore usque ad tempus .
ወአኃዊሆሙ ፡ በበአዕፃዲሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይባኡ ፡ በበሰናብት ፡ ወበበመዋዕላት ፡ እምጊዜ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ጊዜያት ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ።
Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them,
9:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י בֶאֱמוּנָ֞ה הֵ֗מָּה אַרְבַּ֙עַת֙ גִּבֹּרֵ֣י הַשֹּׁעֲרִ֔ים הֵ֖ם הַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְהָיוּ֙ עַל ־הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת וְעַ֥ל הָאֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים ׃
ὅτι ἐν πίστει εἰσὶν τέσσαρες δυνατοὶ τῶν πυλῶν οἱ Λευῖται ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῶν παστοφορίων καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ
His quatuor Levitis creditus erat omnis numerus janitorum , et erant super exedras et thesauros domus Domini .
እስመ ፡ ምእመናን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ በአርባዕቱ ፡ አናቅጽ ፡ እለ ፡ የዓቅብዎሙ ፡ ለአናቅጽ ፡ ጽኑዓን ፡ ወሌዋውያንስ ፡ ይቀውሙ ፡ ዲበ ፡ መንጦላዕተ ፡ ታቦት ፡ ወዲበ ፡ መዛግብተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ፡ እንዘ ፡ የዓቅቡ ።
for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the rooms and over the treasuries in God’s house.
9:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּסְבִיב֥וֹת בֵּית ־הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים יָלִ֑ינוּ כִּֽי ־עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת וְהֵ֥ם עַל ־הַמַּפְתֵּ֖חַ וְלַבֹּ֥קֶר לַבֹּֽקֶר ׃
καὶ περικύκλῳ οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ παρεμβαλοῦσιν ὅτι ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς φυλακή καὶ οὗτοι ἐπὶ τῶν κλειδῶν τὸ πρωὶ πρωὶ ἀνοίγειν τὰς θύρας τοῦ ἱεροῦ
Per gyrum quoque templi Domini morabantur in custodiis suis : ut cum tempus fuisset , ipsi mane aperirent fores .
እስመ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ እለ ፡ ይእኅዙ ፡ መራኁተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሄር ፡ ወያርኅወ ፡ ኃዋኅወ ፡ ቤት ፡ በበጽባሕ ።
They stayed around God’s house, because that was their duty; and it was their duty to open it morning by morning.
9:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמֵהֶ֖ם עַל ־כְּלֵ֣י הָעֲבוֹדָ֑ה כִּֽי ־בְמִסְפָּ֣ר יְבִיא֔וּם וּבְמִסְפָּ֖ר יוֹצִיאֽוּם ׃
καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη τῆς λειτουργίας ὅτι ἐν ἀριθμῷ εἰσοίσουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ ἐν ἀριθμῷ ἐξοίσουσιν αὐτά
De horum genere erant et super vasa ministerii : ad numerum enim et inferebantur vasa , et efferebantur .
ወእምኔሆሙ ፡ ሥዩማን ፡ ለንዋየ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ግብር ፡ እስመ ፡ በኍልቁ ፡ ያበውኡ ፡ ወበኍልቁ ፡ ያወጽኡ ፡ ለንዋየ ፡ ግብር ።
Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service, for these were brought in by count, and these were taken out by count.
9:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמֵהֶ֗ם מְמֻנִּים֙ עַל ־הַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְעַל ־הַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ וְהַיַּ֣יִן וְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶן וְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖ה וְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים ׃
καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς σεμιδάλεως τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ ἐλαίου τοῦ λιβανωτοῦ καὶ τῶν ἀρωμάτων
De ipsis et qui credita habebant utensilia sanctuarii , praeerant similae , et vino , et oleo , et thuri , et aromatibus .
ወእምኔሆሙ ፡ ሥዩማን ፡ ለንዋየ ፡ ግብር ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ቅድሳት ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ሥንዳሌ ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ወይን ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ቅብዕ ፡ ወዲበ ፡ አፈው ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ዕጣናት ።
Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.
9:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־בְּנֵי֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים רֹקְחֵ֥י הַמִּרְקַ֖חַת לַבְּשָׂמִֽים ׃
καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων ἦσαν μυρεψοὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἀρώματα
Filii autem sacerdotum unguenta ex aromatibus conficiebant .
ወእምነደቂቀ ፡ ካህናት ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ገበርተ ፡ ዕጣን ፡ ወአፈው ።
Some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixing of the spices.
9:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמַתִּתְיָה֙ מִן ־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם ה֥וּא הַבְּכ֖וֹר לְשַׁלֻּ֣ם הַקׇּרְחִ֑י בֶּאֱמוּנָ֕ה עַ֖ל מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה הַחֲבִתִּֽים ׃
καὶ Ματταθιας ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν οὗτος ὁ πρωτότοκος τῷ Σαλωμ τῷ Κορίτῃ ἐν τῇ πίστει ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα τῆς θυσίας τοῦ τηγάνου τοῦ μεγάλου ἱερέως
Et Mathathias Levites primogenitus Sellum Coritae , praefectus erat eorum quae in sartagine frigebantur .
ወምንትንያስ ፡ እምደቂቀ ፡ ሌዋዊ ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ለሰሎም ፡ ወልደ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ዘእሙን ፡ ዲበ ፡ ንዋየ ፡ ግብር ፡ ዘጤገን ፡ ዓቢይ ፡ ለቀ ፡ ካህናት ።
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
9:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִן ־בְּנֵ֧י הַקְּהָתִ֛י מִן ־אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם עַל ־לֶ֣חֶם הַֽמַּעֲרָ֑כֶת לְהָכִ֖ין שַׁבַּ֥ת שַׁבָּֽת ׃
καὶ Βαναιας ὁ Κααθίτης ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν ἄρτων τῆς προθέσεως τοῦ ἑτοιμάσαι σάββατον κατὰ σάββατον
Porro de filiis Caath fratribus eorum , super panes erant propositionis , ut semper novos per singula sabbata praepararent .
ወብንያስ ፡ ዘብሔረ ፡ ቀዓት ፡ ወአኃዊሆሙኒ ፡ ሥዩማን ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኅብስተ ፡ ቊርባን ፡ ከመ ፡ ያስተዳልዉ ፡ ለለሰንበት ።
Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
9:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֣לֶּה הַ֠מְשֹׁרְרִ֠ים רָאשֵׁ֨י אָב֧וֹת לַלְוִיִּ֛ם בַּלְּשָׁכֹ֖ת (פטירים ) [פְּטוּרִ֑ים ] כִּֽי ־יוֹמָ֥ם וָלַ֛יְלָה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בַּמְּלָאכָֽה ׃
καὶ οὗτοι ψαλτῳδοὶ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν διατεταγμέναι ἐφημερίαι ὅτι ἡμέρα καὶ νὺξ ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις
Hi sunt principes cantorum per familias Levitarum , qui in exedris morabantur , ut die ac nocte jugiter suo ministerio deservirent .
ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ መዘምራን ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ወሥዩማን ፡ በበመዋዕሊሆሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ መዓልተ ፡ ወሌሊተ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ኮነ ፡ ግብር ።
These are the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the rooms and were free from other service, for they were employed in their work day and night.
9:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֩לֶּה֩ רָאשֵׁ֨י הָאָב֧וֹת לַלְוִיִּ֛ם לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם ׃ {ס}
οὗτοι ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οὗτοι κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
Capita Levitarum , per familias suas principes , manserunt in Jerusalem .
ወእሉ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ በከመ ፡ ልደቶሙ ፡ ወእሉ ፡ የኃድሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ።
These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men. They lived at Jerusalem.
9:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְגִבְע֛וֹן יָשְׁב֥וּ אֲבִי ־גִבְע֖וֹן (יעואל ) [יְעִיאֵ֑ל ] וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐν Γαβαων κατῴκησεν πατὴρ Γαβαων Ιιηλ καὶ ὄνομα γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ Μοωχα
In Gabaon autem commorati sunt pater Gabaon Jehiel , et nomen uxoris ejus Maacha .
ወብሔረ ፡ ገባዖን ፡ የኃድር ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለገባዖን ፡ ዘስሙ ፡ ኢዮሄል ፡ ወስመ ፡ ብእሲቱ ፡ ሞአካ ።
Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Maacah, lived in Gibeon.
9:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֣וּר וְקִ֔ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנֵ֖ר וְנָדָֽב ׃
καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πρωτότοκος Αβαδων καὶ Σιρ καὶ Κις καὶ Βααλ καὶ Νηρ καὶ Ναδαβ
Filius primogenitus ejus Abdon , et Sur , et Cis , et Baal , et Ner , et Nadab ,
ወስመ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ በኵሩ ፡ አብዶን ፡ ወካልኡ ፡ አሴር ፡ ወሣልሱ ፡ ቂስ ፡ ወራብዑ ፡ ቦአል ፡ ወኃምሱ ፡ ኔር ፡ ወሳዱስ ፡ ናባው ።
His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
9:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּגְד֣וֹר וְאַחְי֔וֹ וּזְכַרְיָ֖ה וּמִקְלֽוֹת ׃
καὶ Γεδουρ καὶ ἀδελφὸς καὶ Ζαχαρια καὶ Μακελλωθ
Gedor quoque , et Ahio , et Zacharias , et Macelloth .
ወግዱር ፡ ወአሒዮ ፡ ወዝኩር ፡ ወመቃሎት ።
Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.
9:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִקְל֖וֹת הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־שִׁמְאָ֑ם וְאַף ־הֵ֗ם נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם עִם ־אֲחֵיהֶֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ Μακελλωθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαμαα καὶ οὗτοι ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν
Porro Macelloth genuit Samaan : isti habitaverunt e regione fratrum suorum in Jerusalem cum fratribus suis .
ወመቃሎት ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሳምዓ ፡ ወእሉ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ አኃዊሆሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ፡ ምስለ ፡ አኃዊሆሙ ።
Mikloth became the father of Shimeam. They also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem, near their relatives.
9:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת ־יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת ־מַלְכִּישׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת ־אֲבִינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת ־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל ׃
καὶ Νηρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Κις καὶ Κις ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαουλ καὶ Σαουλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωναθαν καὶ τὸν Μελχισουε καὶ τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ τὸν Ισβααλ
Ner autem genuit Cis , et Cis genuit Saul , et Saul genuit Jonathan , et Melchisua , et Abinadab , et Esbaal .
ወኔር ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለቂስ ፡ ወቂስ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሳኦል ፡ ወሳኦል ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለዮናታን ፡ ወለመልክሱዕ ፡ ወለአሚናዳብ ፡ ወለባኦል ።
Ner became the father of Kish. Kish became the father of Saul. Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
9:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבֶן ־יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִי ־בַ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־מִיכָֽה ׃
καὶ υἱὸς Ιωναθαν Μαριβααλ καὶ Μαριβααλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μιχα
Filius autem Jonathan , Meribbaal : et Meribbaal genuit Micha .
ወዮናታን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለመርፍባኦል ፡ ወመርፍባኦል ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሚካ ።
The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal. Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
9:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּיתֹ֥ן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַחְרֵֽעַ ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Μιχα Φαιθων καὶ Μαλαχ καὶ Θαραχ
Porro filii Micha , Phithon , et Melech , et Tharaa , et Ahaz .
ወለደቂቀ ፡ ሚካ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ ፒቶን ፡ ወምሉክ ፡ ወታራ ።
The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
9:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־יַעְרָ֔ה וְיַעְרָ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת ־עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת ־עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת ־זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת ־מוֹצָֽא ׃
καὶ Αχαζ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαδα καὶ Ιαδα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γαλεμεθ καὶ τὸν Γαζμωθ καὶ τὸν Ζαμβρι καὶ Ζαμβρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μασα
Ahaz autem genuit Jara , et Jara genuit Alamath , et Azmoth , et Zamri . Zamri autem genuit Mosa .
ወአካዝ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢዮአዳዕ ፡ ወኢዮአዳዕ ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለመጋሊት ፡ ወለአዝሞት ፡ ወለዘምሪ ፡ ወዘምሪ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለመዓሣዕ ።
Ahaz became the father of Jarah. Jarah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri became the father of Moza.
9:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־בִּנְעָ֑א וּרְפָיָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ ׃
καὶ Μασα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βαανα Ραφαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελεασα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Εσηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Mosa vero genuit Banaa , cujus filius Raphaia , genuit Elasa , de quo ortus est Asel .
ወመዓሣዕ ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለበአና ፡ ወለራፉዕያ ፡ ወለኤልዓሣ ፡ ወለኤሴል ።
Moza became the father of Binea, Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
9:44 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל ׃ {פ}
καὶ τῷ Εσηλ ἓξ υἱοί καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν Εσδρικαμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ Ισμαηλ καὶ Σαρια καὶ Αβδια καὶ Αναν οὗτοι υἱοὶ Εσηλ

ወለኤሴልኒ ፡ ቦቱ ፡ ኃምስቱ ፡ ደቂቅ ፡ ወከመዝ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አስማቲሆሙ ፡ አዝሪቃም ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ወእስማኤል ፡ ካልኡ ፡ ወሳሪያ ፡ ወአባድያ ፡ ወአናን ፡ እሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኤሴል ።
