4:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵ֖י יְהוּדָ֑ה פֶּ֧רֶץ חֶצְר֛וֹן וְכַרְמִ֖י וְח֥וּר וְשׁוֹבָֽל ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Ιουδα Φαρες Αρσων καὶ Χαρμι καὶ Ωρ Σουβαλ
Filii Juda : Phares , Hesron , et Charmi , et Hur , et Sobal .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ፋሬስ ፡ ወኤስሮም ፡ ወካሬም ፡ ወሆር ፡ ወሱባል ።
The sons of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, and Shobal.
4:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּרְאָיָ֤ה בֶן ־שׁוֹבָל֙ הֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־יַ֔חַת וְיַ֣חַת הֹלִ֔יד אֶת ־אֲחוּמַ֖י וְאֶת ־לָ֑הַד אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת הַצָּֽרְעָתִֽי ׃ {ס}
καὶ Ραια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Σουβαλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιεθ καὶ Ιεθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιμι καὶ τὸν Λααδ αὗται αἱ γενέσεις τοῦ Σαραθι
Raia vero filius Sobal genuit Jahath , de quo nati sunt Ahumai , et Laad : hae cognationes Sarathi .
ወርእያያ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለሱባል ፡ ወሱባል ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢዮሄት ፡ ወኢዮሄት ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለአኪማኢ ፡ ወለአድ ፡ ወዝንቱ ፡ ውዕቱ ፡ ልደቱ ፡ ለሰላትያል ።
Reaiah the son of Shobal became the father of Jahath; and Jahath became the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.
4:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ אֲבִ֣י עֵיטָ֔ם יִזְרְעֶ֥אל וְיִשְׁמָ֖א וְיִדְבָּ֑שׁ וְשֵׁ֥ם אֲחוֹתָ֖ם הַצְלֶלְפּֽוֹנִי ׃
καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Αιταμ Ιεζραηλ καὶ Ραγμα καὶ Ιαβας καὶ ὄνομα ἀδελφῆς αὐτῶν Εσηλεββων
Ista quoque stirps Etam : Jezrahel , et Jesema , et Jedebos . Nomen quoque sororis eorum , Asalelphuni .
ወእሉ ፡ ውእቶሙ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለኤጣም ፡ ኢይዝራኤል ፡ ወኢስማዕ ፡ ወኤጋቢስ ፡ ወስመ ፡ እኀቶሙ ፡ ኤሴንፎን ።
These were the sons of the father of Etam: Jezreel, Ishma, and Idbash. The name of their sister was Hazzelelponi.
4:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּפְנוּאֵל֙ אֲבִ֣י גְדֹ֔ר וְעֵ֖זֶר אֲבִ֣י חוּשָׁ֑ה אֵ֤לֶּה בְנֵי ־חוּר֙ בְּכ֣וֹר אֶפְרָ֔תָה אֲבִ֖י בֵּ֥ית לָֽחֶם ׃
καὶ Φανουηλ πατὴρ Γεδωρ καὶ Αζηρ πατὴρ Ωσαν οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ωρ τοῦ πρωτοτόκου Εφραθα πατρὸς Βαιθλαεμ
Phanuel autem pater Gedor , et Ezer pater Hosa : isti sunt filii Hur primogeniti Ephratha patris Bethlehem .
ወፋኑኤል ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለጌዶር ፡ ወአዜር ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለአሶን ፡ እሉ ፡ ደቂቁ ፡ ለአር ፡ በኵሩ ፡ ለኤፍራታ ፡ አበ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ልሔም ።
Penuel was the father of Gedor and Ezer the father of Hushah. These are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.
4:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּלְאַשְׁחוּר֙ אֲבִ֣י תְק֔וֹעַ הָי֖וּ שְׁתֵּ֣י נָשִׁ֑ים חֶלְאָ֖ה וְנַעֲרָֽה ׃
καὶ τῷ Σαουρ πατρὶ Θεκωε ἦσαν δύο γυναῖκες Αωδα καὶ Θοαδα
Assur vero patri Thecuae erant duae uxores , Halaa et Naara .
ወአሱር ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለቴቁኤ ፡ አውሰበ ፡ ክልኤተ ፡ አንስተ ፡ እለ ፡ አስማቲሆን ፡ ኤላሃ ፡ ወኑአራ ።
Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
4:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתֵּ֨לֶד ל֤וֹ נַֽעֲרָה֙ אֶת ־אֲחֻזָּ֣ם וְאֶת ־חֵ֔פֶר וְאֶת ־תֵּֽימְנִ֖י וְאֶת ־הָאֲחַשְׁתָּרִ֑י אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י נַעֲרָֽה ׃
καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ Αωδα τὸν Ωχαζαμ καὶ τὸν Ηφαδ καὶ τὸν Θαιμαν καὶ τὸν Ασθηραν πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Αωδας
Peperit autem ei Naara , Oozam , et Hepher , et Themani , et Ahasthari : isti sunt filii Naara .
ወወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ኑአራ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ እለ ፡ አስማቲሆን ፡ ሄኖራጣን ፡ ወአሁዛም ፡ ወኤፌር ፡ ወቴማን ፡ ወአስቴራ ፡ እላንቱ ፡ ኵሎን ፡ ደቂቃ ፡ ለኑአራ ።
Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah.
4:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י חֶלְאָ֑ה צֶ֥רֶת (יצחר ) [וְצֹ֖חַר ] וְאֶתְנָֽן ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Θοαδα Σαρεθ καὶ Σααρ καὶ Εθναν
Porro filii Halaa , Sereth , Isaar et Ethnan .
ወደቂቃ ፡ ለኤላሃ ፡ ሶረት ፡ ወሰዓር ፡ ወኤትናን ።
The sons of Helah were Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan.
4:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְק֣וֹץ הוֹלִ֔יד אֶת ־עָנ֖וּב וְאֶת ־הַצֹּבֵבָ֑ה וּמִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת אֲחַרְחֵ֖ל בֶּן ־הָרֽוּם ׃
καὶ Κως ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ενωβ καὶ τὸν Σαβηβα καὶ γεννήσεις ἀδελφοῦ Ρηχαβ υἱοῦ Ιαριμ
Cos autem genuit Anob , et Soboba , et cognationem Aharehel filii Arum .
ወቆስ ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለኤኖብ ፡ ወለሲባባ ፡ ወተወልዱ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ውሉድ ፡ ለእኁሁ ፡ ለኮሬብ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኢያራም ።
Hakkoz became the father of Anub, Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
4:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְהִ֣י יַעְבֵּ֔ץ נִכְבָּ֖ד מֵאֶחָ֑יו וְאִמּ֗וֹ קָרְאָ֨ה שְׁמ֤וֹ יַעְבֵּץ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר כִּ֥י יָלַ֖דְתִּי בְּעֹֽצֶב ׃
καὶ ἦν Ιγαβης ἔνδοξος ὑπὲρ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ιγαβης λέγουσα ἔτεκον ὡς γαβης
Fuit autem Jabes inclytus prae fratribus suis , et mater ejus vocavit nomen illius Jabes , dicens : Quia peperi eum in dolore .
ወኮነ ፡ ኤኖብ ፡ ክቡረ ፡ እምአኃዊሁ ፡ ወሰመየቶ ፡ እሙ ፡ ያጌቢስ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትብል ፡ ወለድኩ ፡ ጋቤሰ ፡ ዘበትርጓሜሁ ፡ በፃማ ፡ ወበሕማም ።
Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him with sorrow.”
4:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקְרָ֣א יַ֠עְבֵּ֠ץ לֵאלֹהֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל לֵאמֹ֗ר אִם ־בָּרֵ֨ךְ תְּבָרְכֵ֜נִי וְהִרְבִּ֤יתָ אֶת ־גְּבוּלִי֙ וְהָיְתָ֤ה יָדְךָ֙ עִמִּ֔י וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מֵּרָעָ֖ה לְבִלְתִּ֣י עׇצְבִּ֑י וַיָּבֵ֥א אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר ־שָׁאָֽל ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπεκαλέσατο Ιγαβης τὸν θεὸν Ισραηλ λέγων ἐὰν εὐλογῶν εὐλογήσῃς με καὶ πληθύνῃς τὰ ὅριά μου καὶ ᾖ ἡ χείρ σου μετ’ ἐμοῦ καὶ ποιήσεις γνῶσιν τοῦ μὴ ταπεινῶσαί με καὶ ἐπήγαγεν ὁ θεὸς πάντα ὅσα ᾐτήσατο
Invocavit vero Jabes Deum Israël , dicens : Si benedicens benedixeris mihi , et dilataveris terminos meos , et fuerit manus tua mecum , et feceris me a malitia non opprimi . Et praestitit Deus quae precatus est .
ወጸውዖ ፡ ያጌቢስ ፡ ለአምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ባርኮ ፡ ባረከኒ ፡ ወአብዛኀከ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘዓውድየ ፡ ወኮነት ፡ እዴከ ፡ ምስሌየ ፡ ወገበርከ ፡ ትእምርተ ፡ በዘኢታኃሥረኒ ፡ ወወሀቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘሰአለ ።
Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border! May your hand be with me, and may you keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” God granted him that which he requested.
4:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּכְל֥וּב אֲחִי ־שׁוּחָ֖ה הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־מְחִ֑יר ה֖וּא אֲבִ֥י אֶשְׁתּֽוֹן ׃
καὶ Χαλεβ πατὴρ Ασχα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαχιρ οὗτος πατὴρ Ασσαθων
Caleb autem frater Sua genuit Mahir , qui fuit pater Esthon .
ወካሌብ ፡ እኀወ ፡ አራም ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለማኪር ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለኤስቶን ።
Chelub the brother of Shuhah became the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
4:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֶשְׁתּ֗וֹן הוֹלִ֞יד אֶת ־בֵּ֤ית רָפָא֙ וְאֶת ־פָּסֵ֔חַ וְאֶת ־תְּחִנָּ֖ה אֲבִ֣י עִ֣יר נָחָ֑שׁ אֵ֖לֶּה אַנְשֵׁ֥י רֵכָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ Ασσαθων ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βαθρεφαν καὶ τὸν Φεσσηε καὶ τὸν Θανα πατέρα πόλεως Ναας ἀδελφοῦ Εσελων τοῦ Κενεζι οὗτοι ἄνδρες Ρηφα
Porro Esthon genuit Bethrapha , et Phesse , et Tehinna patrem urbis Naas : hi sunt viri Recha .
ወኤስቶን ፡ ወለዶሙ ፡ ለቤተ ፡ ራፋ ፡ ወለሲፋ ፡ ወለታና ፡ አበ ፡ ኤርናአስ ፡ እኁሁ ፡ ለኤሴሎም ፡ ቄኔዛዊ ፡ እሉ ፡ እደው ፡ ራፋን ።
Eshton became the father of Beth Rapha, Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir Nahash. These are the men of Recah.
4:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֣י קְנַ֔ז עׇתְנִיאֵ֖ל וּשְׂרָיָ֑ה וּבְנֵ֥י עׇתְנִיאֵ֖ל חֲתַֽת ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Κενεζ Γοθονιηλ καὶ Σαραια καὶ υἱοὶ Γοθονιηλ Αθαθ
Filii autem Cenez , Othoniel , et Saraia . Porro filii Othoniel , Hathath , et Maonathi .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ቄኔዝ ፡ ጎቶኖሄል ፡ ወሠራኢያ ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ጎቶኖሄል ፡ አታት ።
The sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah. The sons of Othniel: Hathath.
4:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמְעוֹנֹתַ֖י הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת ־עׇפְרָ֑ה וּשְׂרָיָ֗ה הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת ־יוֹאָב֙ אֲבִי֙ גֵּ֣יא חֲרָשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י חֲרָשִׁ֖ים הָיֽוּ ׃ {פ}
καὶ Μαναθι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γοφερα καὶ Σαραια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωαβ πατέρα Αγεαδδαϊρ ὅτι τέκτονες ἦσαν
Maonathi genuit Ophra , Saraia autem genuit Joab patrem Vallis artificum : ibi quippe artifices erant .
ወመናቲ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለጎፌር ፡ ወሠራኢያ ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለኢዮአብ ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለጌርሳምስ ፡ እስመ ፡ ጸረብት ፡ እሙንቱ ።
Meonothai became the father of Ophrah: and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge Harashim, for they were craftsmen.
4:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵי֙ כָּלֵ֣ב בֶּן ־יְפֻנֶּ֔ה עִ֥ירוּ אֵלָ֖ה וָנָ֑עַם וּבְנֵ֥י אֵלָ֖ה וּקְנַֽז ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Χαλεβ υἱοῦ Ιεφοννη Ηρα Αλα καὶ Νοομ καὶ υἱοὶ Αλα Κενεζ
Filii vero Caleb filii Jephone , Hir , et Ela , et Naham . Filii quoque Ela : Cenez .
ወደቂቁ ፡ ለካሌብ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ዮፍኒ ፡ ኢሩ ፡ ኤላ ፡ ወነአም ፡ ወደቂቁ ፡ ለኤላ ፡ ቄኔዝ ።
The sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam. The son of Elah: Kenaz.
4:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י יְהַלֶּלְאֵ֑ל זִ֣יף וְזִיפָ֔ה תִּירְיָ֖א וַאֲשַׂרְאֵֽל ׃
καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Γεσεηλ Αμηαχι καὶ Ζαφα καὶ Ζαιρα καὶ Εσεραηλ
Filii quoque Jaleleel : Ziph , et Zipha , Thiria , et Asraël .
ወውሉደ ፡ ኢያሌሳን ፡ ዝፍሊ ፡ ወዚፋ ፡ ወቴርያ ፡ ወኢስራሄል ።
The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
4:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבֶ֨ן ־עֶזְרָ֔ה יֶ֥תֶר וּמֶ֖רֶד וְעֵ֣פֶר וְיָל֑וֹן וַתַּ֙הַר֙ אֶת ־מִרְיָ֣ם וְאֶת ־שַׁמַּ֔י וְאֶת ־יִשְׁבָּ֖ח אֲבִ֥י אֶשְׁתְּמֹֽעַ ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Εσρι Ιεθερ Μωραδ καὶ Αφερ καὶ Ιαλων καὶ ἐγέννησεν Ιεθερ τὸν Μαρων καὶ τὸν Σεμαι καὶ τὸν Μαρεθ πατέρα Εσθεμων
Et filii Ezra , Jether , et Mered , et Epher , et Jalon , genuitque Mariam , et Sammai , et Jesba patrem Esthamo .
ወውሉደ ፡ ኤዜራስ ፡ ኢያቴር ፡ ወሜሬድ ፡ ወጋፌር ፡ ወያሎን ።
The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon; and Mered’s wife bore Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
4:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִשְׁתּ֣וֹ הַיְהֻֽדִיָּ֗ה יָלְדָ֞ה אֶת ־יֶ֨רֶד אֲבִ֤י גְדוֹר֙ וְאֶת ־חֶ֙בֶר֙ אֲבִ֣י שׂוֹכ֔וֹ וְאֶת ־יְקוּתִיאֵ֖ל אֲבִ֣י זָנ֑וֹחַ וְאֵ֗לֶּה בְּנֵי֙ בִּתְיָ֣ה בַת ־פַּרְעֹ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָקַ֖ח מָֽרֶד ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ αὕτη Αδια ἔτεκεν τὸν Ιαρεδ πατέρα Γεδωρ καὶ τὸν Αβερ πατέρα Σωχων καὶ τὸν Ιεκθιηλ πατέρα Ζανω καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Γελια θυγατρὸς Φαραω ἣν ἔλαβεν Μωρηδ
Uxor quoque ejus Judaia , peperit Jared patrem Gedor , et Heber patrem Socho , et Icuthiel patrem Zanoë : hi autem filii Bethiae filiae Pharaonis , quam accepit Mered .
ወወለዶሙ ፡ ኢያቴር ፡ ለሜሬድ ፡ ወለይስማኢ ፡ ወለይስባኤል ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለኤስቲሞን ።
His wife the Jewess bore Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. These are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took.
4:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵי֙ אֵ֣שֶׁת הֽוֹדִיָּ֔ה אֲח֣וֹת נַ֔חַם אֲבִ֥י קְעִילָ֖ה הַגַּרְמִ֑י וְאֶשְׁתְּמֹ֖עַ הַמַּעֲכָתִֽי ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ γυναικὸς τῆς Ιδουιας ἀδελφῆς Ναχεμ καὶ Δαλια πατὴρ Κεϊλα καὶ Σεμειων πατὴρ Ιωμαν καὶ υἱοὶ Ναημ πατρὸς Κεϊλα Αγαρμι καὶ Εσθεμωη Μαχαθι
Et filii uxoris Odaiae sororis Naham patris Ceila , Garmi , et Esthamo , qui fuit de Machathi .
ወብእሲቱ ፡ ሃይሄዳ ፡ ወለደት ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ወልደ ፡ በክቡት ፡ ዘስሙ ፡ ኢያቴር ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለጌዶር ፡ ወለአቤር ፡ ወአበስኮር ፡ ወለኢተክሂል ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለዛኖን ፡ ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ደቂቃ ፡ ለለፍትያ ፡ ወለተ ፡ ፈርዖን ፡ እንተ ፡ አውሰባ ፡ ሜሬድ ።
The sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the fathers of Keilah the Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
4:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֣י שִׁימ֔וֹן אַמְנ֣וֹן וְרִנָּ֔ה בֶּן ־חָנָ֖ן (ותולון ) [וְתִיל֑וֹן ] וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֔י זוֹחֵ֖ת וּבֶן ־זוֹחֵֽת ׃
καὶ υἱοὶ Σεμιων Αμνων καὶ Ρανα υἱὸς Αναν καὶ Θιλων καὶ υἱοὶ Ισεϊ Ζωαθ καὶ υἱοὶ Ζωαθ
Filii quoque Simon , Amnon , et Rinna filius Hanan , et Thilon . Et filii Jesi , Zoheth , et Benzoheth .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ብእሲቱ ፡ ኢያድያ ፡ እኀቱ ፡ ለኮኑብ ፡ ወዶና ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለቀይላ ፡ ወለስዮን ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለሳማን ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ ናሄም ፡ አቡሆሙ ፡ ለቃይላን ፡ አጣሬም ፡ ወይስቴይም ፡ ወቴማካቲ ።

4:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵי֙ שֵׁלָ֣ה בֶן ־יְהוּדָ֔ה עֵ֚ר אֲבִ֣י לֵכָ֔ה וְלַעְדָּ֖ה אֲבִ֣י מָרֵשָׁ֑ה וּמִשְׁפְּח֛וֹת בֵּית ־עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַבֻּ֖ץ לְבֵ֥ית אַשְׁבֵּֽעַ ׃
υἱοὶ Σηλωμ υἱοῦ Ιουδα Ηρ πατὴρ Ληχα καὶ Λααδα πατὴρ Μαρησα καὶ γενέσεις οἰκιῶν εφραθ αβακ τῷ οἴκῳ Εσοβα
Filii Sela , filii Juda : Her pater Lecha , et Laada pater Maresa , et cognationes domus operantium byssum in domo juramenti .
ወደቂቁ ፡ ለሴምዮን ፡ አምኖን ፡ ወራኖን ፡ ወአምኖን ፡ ወለዶ ፡ ለአናን ፡ ወቲሎን ፡ ወልደ ፡ ይስቴም ፡ ዘካት ፡ ወወልደ ፡ ዘካት ፡ ሴሎም ።
The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of those who worked fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;
4:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְיוֹקִ֞ים וְאַנְשֵׁ֣י כֹזֵבָ֗א וְיוֹאָ֧שׁ וְשָׂרָ֛ף אֲשֶׁר ־בָּעֲל֥וּ לְמוֹאָ֖ב וְיָשֻׁ֣בִי לָ֑חֶם וְהַדְּבָרִ֖ים עַתִּיקִֽים ׃
καὶ Ιωακιμ καὶ ἄνδρες Χωζηβα καὶ Ιωας καὶ Σαραφ οἳ κατῴκησαν ἐν Μωαβ καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν αὐτοὺς αβεδηριν αθουκιιν
Et qui stare fecit solem , virique Mendacii , et Securus , et Incendens , qui principes fuerunt in Moab , et qui reversi sunt in Lahem : haec autem verba vetera .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ሴሎም ፡ ወልደ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ኤር ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለካድ ፡ ወአዳ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለማርስ ፡ ወነገደ ፡ ቤቶሙ ፡ ለአቡዳት ፡ አቡሄስ ፡ ዘቤተ ፡ አቡሳ ፡ እለ ፡ የአንሙ ፡ ፀምረ ።
and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem. These records are ancient.
4:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ הֵ֚מָּה הַיּ֣וֹצְרִ֔ים וְיֹשְׁבֵ֥י נְטָעִ֖ים וּגְדֵרָ֑ה עִם ־הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ בִּמְלַאכְתּ֖וֹ יָ֥שְׁבוּ שָֽׁם ׃ {ס}
οὗτοι κεραμεῖς οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Ναταϊμ καὶ Γαδηρα μετὰ τοῦ βασιλέως ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ αὐτοῦ ἐνίσχυσαν καὶ κατῴκησαν ἐκεῖ
Hi sunt figuli habitantes in plantationibus et in sepibus , apud regem in operibus ejus : commoratique sunt ibi .
ወኢዮአቄም ፡ ወእደወ ፡ ኬዜብ ፡ ወኢዮአስ ፡ ወሥራፍ ፡ እለ ፡ የኀድሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሞአብ ፡ ወሜጦም ፡ አብድሬናን ፡ ወቶቄም ።
These were the potters, and the inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah; they lived there with the king for his work.
4:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵ֖י שִׁמְע֑וֹן נְמוּאֵ֣ל וְיָמִ֔ין יָרִ֖יב זֶ֥רַח שָׁאֽוּל ׃
υἱοὶ Συμεων Ναμουηλ καὶ Ιαμιν Ιαριβ Ζαρε Σαουλ
Filii Simeon : Namuel et Jamin , Jarib , Zara , Saul .
ወእሉ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ለብሐውያን ፡ እለ ፡ የኀድሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ናጣኤም ፡ ወጋዴራ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ንጉሥ ፡ ወበመንግሥቱ ፡ ፀንዑ ፡ ወኀደሩ ፡ ህየ ።

4:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ שַׁלֻּ֥ם בְּנ֛וֹ מִבְשָׂ֥ם בְּנ֖וֹ מִשְׁמָ֥ע בְּנֽוֹ ׃
Σαλεμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μαβασαμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μασμα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Sellum filius ejus , Mapsam filius ejus , Masma filius ejus .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ስምዖን ፡ ናሙኤል ፡ ወኢያሚን ፡ ወኢያብር ፡ ወዝራኤ ፡ ወሳኡል ።
Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, and Mishma his son.
4:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְנֵ֖י מִשְׁמָ֑ע חַמּוּאֵ֥ל בְּנ֛וֹ זַכּ֥וּר בְּנ֖וֹ שִׁמְעִ֥י בְנֽוֹ ׃
Αμουηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σαβουδ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ζακχουρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Σεμεϊ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
Filii Masma : Hamuel filius ejus , Zachur filius ejus , Semei filius ejus .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ሳኡል ፡ ሳሌም ፡ ወልዱ ፡ መብሳን ፡ ምስማን ፡ ወልዱ ።

4:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּלְשִׁמְעִ֞י בָּנִ֨ים שִׁשָּׁ֤ה עָשָׂר֙ וּבָנ֣וֹת שֵׁ֔שׁ וּלְאֶחָ֕יו אֵ֖ין בָּנִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וְכֹל֙ מִשְׁפַּחְתָּ֔ם לֹ֥א הִרְבּ֖וּ עַד ־בְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ τῷ Σεμεϊ υἱοὶ ἑκκαίδεκα καὶ θυγατέρες τρεῖς καὶ τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτῶν οὐκ ἦσαν υἱοὶ πολλοί καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ πατριαὶ αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐπλεόνασαν ὡς υἱοὶ Ιουδα
Filii Semei sedecim , et filiae sex : fratres autem ejus non habuerunt filios multos , et universa cognatio non potuit adaequare summam filiorum Juda .
ወደቂቀ ፡ ምስማን ፡ አሙሄል ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ሳባድ ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ዝኩር ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ሳምዒን ፡ ወልዱ ።
Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brothers didn’t have many children, and all their family didn’t multiply like the children of Judah.
4:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֵּ֥שְׁב֛וּ בִּבְאֵֽר ־שֶׁ֥בַע וּמוֹלָדָ֖ה וַחֲצַ֥ר שׁוּעָֽל ׃
καὶ κατῴκησαν ἐν Βηρσαβεε καὶ Σαμα καὶ Μωλαδα καὶ Εσηρσουαλ
Habitaverunt autem in Bersabee , et Molada , et Hasarsuhal ,
ወደቂቁ ፡ ለሳምዠዒን ፡ ዓሠርቱ ፡ ወስድስቱ ፡ ወአዋልዲሁ ፡ ሠላሳ ፡ ወለአኃዊሁሰ ፡ አልቦሙ ፡ ውሉድ ፡ ብዙኀን ፡ ወኵሎሙ ፡ ውሉዱ ፡ ኢበዝኁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ውሉደ ፡ ይሁዳ ።
They lived at Beersheba, Moladah, Hazarshual,
4:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְבִלְהָ֥ה וּבְעֶ֖צֶם וּבְתוֹלָֽד ׃
καὶ ἐν Βαλαα καὶ Βοασομ καὶ Θουλαδ
et in Bala , et in Asom , et in Tholad ,
ወኀደሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ቤርሳባዕ ፡ ወበሳምአ ፡ ወሞላዳ ፡ ወአርሱ ፡ ባሱኤል ።
at Bilhah, at Ezem, at Tolad,
4:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבִבְתוּאֵ֥ל וּבְחׇרְמָ֖ה וּבְצִֽיקְלָֽג ׃
καὶ Βαθουηλ καὶ Ερμα καὶ Σεκλαγ
et in Bathuel , et in Horma , et in Siceleg ,
ወውስተ ፡ ብኤል ፡ ወበአሶም ፡ ወበቶላድ ።

4:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבְבֵ֤ית מַרְכָּבוֹת֙ וּבַחֲצַ֣ר סוּסִ֔ים וּבְבֵ֥ית בִּרְאִ֖י וּֽבְשַׁעֲרָ֑יִם אֵ֥לֶּה עָרֵיהֶ֖ם עַד ־מְלֹ֥ךְ דָּוִֽיד ׃
καὶ Βαιθμαρχαβωθ καὶ ἥμισυ Σωσιμ καὶ οἶκον Βαρουμσεωριμ αὗται πόλεις αὐτῶν ἕως βασιλέως Δαυιδ
et in Bethmarchaboth , et in Hasarsusim , et in Bethberai , et in Saarim : hae civitates eorum usque ad regem David .
ወበባቱኤል ፡ ወበኤርማ ፡ ወበሰቄላቅ ።
at Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susim, at Beth Biri, and at Shaaraim. These were their cities until David’s reign.
4:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְחַצְרֵיהֶם֙ עֵיטָ֣ם וָעַ֔יִן רִמּ֥וֹן וְתֹ֖כֶן וְעָשָׁ֑ן עָרִ֖ים חָמֵֽשׁ ׃
καὶ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν Αιταμ καὶ Ηνρεμμων καὶ Θοκκαν καὶ Αισαν πόλεις πέντε
Villae quoque eorum : Etam , et Aën , Remmon , et Thochen , et Asan , civitates quinque .
ወበቤተ ፡ መርካቡት ፡ ወበመንፈቀ ፡ ሲአሊም ፡ ወበቤተ ፡ ቤሪም ፡ ወበሳኢርም ፡ እላንቱ ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ አንገሥዎ ፡ ለዳዊት ።
Their villages were Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen, and Ashan, five cities;
4:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכׇל ־חַצְרֵיהֶ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֧ר סְבִיב֛וֹת הֶעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה עַד ־בָּ֑עַל {ס} זֹ֚את מֽוֹשְׁבֹתָ֔ם וְהִתְיַחְשָׂ֖ם לָהֶֽם ׃
καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν κύκλῳ τῶν πόλεων τούτων ἕως Βααλ αὕτη ἡ κατάσχεσις αὐτῶν καὶ ὁ καταλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν
Et universi viculi eorum per circuitum civitatum istarum usque ad Baal : haec est habitatio eorum , et sedium distributio .
ወቅፅራቲሆሙ ፡ ኤጣን ፡ ወኤን ፡ ሬሞን ፡ ወቶኬን ፡ ወአሳን ፡ ወኮና ፡ አህጉሪሆሙ ፡ ኃምስቱ ።
and all their villages that were around the same cities, as far as Baal. These were their settlements, and they kept their genealogy.
4:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמְשׁוֹבָ֣ב וְיַמְלֵ֔ךְ וְיוֹשָׁ֖ה בֶּן ־אֲמַצְיָֽה ׃
καὶ Μοσωβαβ καὶ Ιεμολοχ καὶ Ιωσια υἱὸς Αμασια
Mosobab quoque et Jemlech , et Josa filius Amasiae ,
ወኵሎ ፡ ቅፅራቲሆሙ ፡ ዘዐውዶን ፡ ለእላንቱ ፡ አህጉር ፡ እስከ ፡ በአል ፡ ወዝንቱ ፡ ማኀደሪሆሙ ፡ ወመክፈልቶሙ ።

καὶ Ιωηλ καὶ οὗτος υἱὸς Ισαβια υἱὸς Σαραια υἱὸς Ασιηλ

καὶ Ελιωηναι καὶ Ιακαβα καὶ Ιασουια καὶ Ασαια καὶ Εδιηλ καὶ Ισμαηλ καὶ Βαναια

Ziza quoque filius Sephei filii Allon filii Idaia filii Semri filii Samaia .

and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah—
4:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֚לֶּה הַבָּאִ֣ים בְּשֵׁמ֔וֹת נְשִׂיאִ֖ים בְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֑ם וּבֵית֙ אֲב֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם פָּרְצ֖וּ לָרֽוֹב ׃
οὗτοι οἱ διελθόντες ἐν ὀνόμασιν ἀρχόντων ἐν ταῖς γενέσεσιν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν οἴκοις πατριῶν αὐτῶν ἐπληθύνθησαν εἰς πλῆθος
Isti sunt nominati principes in cognationibus suis , et in domo affinitatum suarum multiplicati sunt vehementer .
ወዙዛ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሴፌ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሐሎን ፡ ወልደ ፡ ኢዳእያ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሰማርዩ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ስምዕው ።
these mentioned by name were princes in their families. Their fathers’ houses increased greatly.
4:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ לִמְב֣וֹא גְדֹ֔ר עַ֖ד לְמִזְרַ֣ח הַגָּ֑יְא לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ מִרְעֶ֖ה לְצֹאנָֽם ׃
καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἕως τοῦ ἐλθεῖν Γεραρα ἕως τῶν ἀνατολῶν τῆς Γαι τοῦ ζητῆσαι νομὰς τοῖς κτήνεσιν αὐτῶν
Et profecti sunt ut ingrederentur in Gador usque ad orientem vallis , et ut quaererent pascua gregibus suis .
እሉ ፡ ዘቦሙ ፡ መላእክት ፡ በበአስማማቲሆሙ ፡ በበነገዶሙ ፡ ወበበአብያተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ወተባዝኁ ፡ ፈድፋደ ።

4:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽיִּמְצְא֤וּ מִרְעֶה֙ שָׁמֵ֣ן וָט֔וֹב וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ רַחֲבַ֣ת יָדַ֔יִם וְשֹׁקֶ֖טֶת וּשְׁלֵוָ֑ה כִּ֣י מִן ־חָ֔ם הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים שָׁ֖ם לְפָנִֽים ׃
καὶ εὗρον νομὰς πίονας καὶ ἀγαθάς καὶ ἡ γῆ πλατεῖα ἐναντίον αὐτῶν καὶ εἰρήνη καὶ ἡσυχία ὅτι ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Χαμ τῶν κατοικούντων ἐκεῖ ἔμπροσθεν
Inveneruntque pascuas uberes , et valde bonas , et terram latissimam et quietam et fertilem , in qua ante habitaverant de stirpe Cham .
ወኀለፉ ፡ እስከ ፡ በጽሑ ፡ ጌራራ ፡ እስከ ፡ ጽባሐ ፡ ዘጋኢ ፡ ከመይኀሥሡ ፡ ምርዓየ ፡ ለእንስሳሆሙ ።
They found rich, good pasture, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceful, for those who lived there before were descended from Ham.
4:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּבֹ֡אוּ אֵ֩לֶּה֩ הַכְּתוּבִ֨ים בְּשֵׁמ֜וֹת בִּימֵ֣י ׀ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ מֶלֶךְ ־יְהוּדָ֗ה וַיַּכּ֨וּ אֶת ־אׇהֳלֵיהֶ֜ם וְאֶת ־[הַמְּעוּנִ֨ים ] (המעינים ) אֲשֶׁ֤ר נִמְצְאֽוּ ־שָׁ֙מָּה֙ וַיַּֽחֲרִימֻם֙ עַד ־הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ תַּחְתֵּיהֶ֑ם כִּי ־מִרְעֶ֥ה לְצֹאנָ֖ם שָֽׁם ׃
καὶ ἤλθοσαν οὗτοι οἱ γεγραμμένοι ἐπ’ ὀνόματος ἐν ἡμέραις Εζεκιου βασιλέως Ιουδα καὶ ἐπάταξαν τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν καὶ τοὺς Μιναίους οὓς εὕροσαν ἐκεῖ καὶ ἀνεθεμάτισαν αὐτοὺς ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης καὶ ᾤκησαν ἀντ’ αὐτῶν ὅτι νομαὶ τοῖς κτήνεσιν αὐτῶν ἐκεῖ
Hi ergo venerunt , quos supra descripsimus nominatim , in diebus Ezechiae regis Juda : et percusserunt tabernacula eorum , et habitatores qui inventi fuerant ibi , et deleverunt eos usque in praesentem diem : habitaveruntque pro eis , quoniam uberrimas pascuas ibidem repererunt .
ወረከቡ ፡ ጺዖታት ፡ ብዙኀተ ፡ ወሥሙራት ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ርኂበ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ወሰላም ፡ ወጽማዌ ፡ እስመ ፡ እምደቂቀ ፡ ካም ፡ የኀድሩ ፡ ዝየ ፡ በቅድሜሆሙ ።
These written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and struck their tents and the Meunim who were found there; and they destroyed them utterly to this day, and lived in their place, because there was pasture there for their flocks.
4:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמֵהֶ֣ם ׀ מִן ־בְּנֵ֣י שִׁמְע֗וֹן הָֽלְכוּ֙ לְהַ֣ר שֵׂעִ֔יר אֲנָשִׁ֖ים חֲמֵ֣שׁ מֵא֑וֹת וּפְלַטְיָ֡ה וּ֠נְעַרְיָ֠ה וּרְפָיָ֧ה וְעֻזִּיאֵ֛ל בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׁעִ֖י בְּרֹאשָֽׁם ׃
καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Συμεων ἐπορεύθησαν εἰς ὄρος Σηιρ ἄνδρες πεντακόσιοι καὶ Φαλεττια καὶ Νωαδια καὶ Ραφαια καὶ Οζιηλ υἱοὶ Ιεσι ἄρχοντες αὐτῶν
De filiis quoque Simeon abierunt in montem Seir viri quingenti , habentes principes Phalthiam et Naariam et Raphaiam et Oziel filios Jesi :
ወመጽኡ ፡ እሉ ፡ እለ ፡ ጽሑፋን ፡ በበአስማቲሆሙ ፡ በመዋዕለ ፡ ሕዝቅያስ ፡ ንጉሠ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወቀተሉ ፡ እለ ፡ ኀዱራን ፡ መነናውያነ ፡ ህየ ፡ ዘረከቡ ፡ ወአውገዝዎሙ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ወየኃድሩ ፡ ህየንቴሆሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ መራዕየ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ቦሙ ።
Some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to Mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.
4:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּכּ֕וּ אֶת ־שְׁאֵרִ֥ית הַפְּלֵטָ֖ה לַעֲמָלֵ֑ק וַיֵּ֣שְׁבוּ שָׁ֔ם עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ ἐπάταξαν τοὺς καταλοίπους τοὺς καταλειφθέντας τοῦ Αμαληκ καὶ κατῴκησαν ἐκεῖ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης
et percusserunt reliquias , quae evadere potuerant , Amalecitarum , et habitaverunt ibi pro eis usque ad diem hanc .
ወአውገዝዎሙ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ስምዖን ፡ ወሖሩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ ሴይር ፡ እደው ፡ ኀምስቱ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወፈላጥያ ፡ ወኑአድያ ፡ ወራፍዕያ ፡ ወዛፋኤል ።
They struck the remnant of the Amalekites who escaped, and have lived there to this day.
4:44 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — — ወደቂቀ ፡ ኢያሲ ፡ ወመላእክተ ፡ ዚአሆሙ ፡ ቀተሉ ፡ እለ ፡ ተርፉ ፡ እምተረፈ ፡ አማሌቅ ፡ ወኃደሩ ፡ ህየ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
