Estote ergo imitatores Dei , sicut filii carissimi ,
所以,你們該效法上帝,好像蒙慈愛的兒女一樣。
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
5:2▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
et ambulate in dilectione , sicut et Christus dilexit nos , et tradidit semetipsum pro nobis , oblationem et hostiam Deo in odorem suavitatis .
也要憑愛心行事,正如基督愛我們,為我們捨了自己,當作馨香的供物和祭物,獻與上帝。
Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

Fornicatio autem , et omnis immunditia , aut avaritia , nec nominetur in vobis , sicut decet sanctos :
至於淫亂並一切污穢,或是貪婪,在你們中間連提都不可,方合聖徒的體統。
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;
5:4▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
aut turpitudo , aut stultiloquium , aut scurrilitas , quae ad rem non pertinet : sed magis gratiarum actio .
淫詞、妄語,和戲笑的話都不相宜;總要說感謝的話。
nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.
5:5▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Hoc enim scitote intelligentes : quod omnis fornicator , aut immundus , aut avarus , quod est idolorum servitus , non habet haereditatem in regno Christi et Dei .
因為你們確實地知道,無論是淫亂的,是污穢的,是有貪心的,在基督和上帝的國裏都是無分的。有貪心的,就與拜偶像的一樣。
Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
5:6▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Nemo vos seducat inanibus verbis : propter haec enim venit ira Dei in filios diffidentiae .
不要被人虛浮的話欺哄;因這些事,上帝的忿怒必臨到那悖逆之子。
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Nolite ergo effici participes eorum .
所以,你們不要與他們同夥。
Therefore don’t be partakers with them.
5:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Eratis enim aliquando tenebrae : nunc autem lux in Domino . Ut filii lucis ambulate :
從前你們是暗昧的,但如今在主裏面是光明的,行事為人就當像光明的子女。
For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
5:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
fructus enim lucis est in omni bonitate , et justitia , et veritate :
光明所結的果子就是一切良善、公義、誠實。
for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
5:10▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
probantes quid sit beneplacitum Deo :
總要察驗何為主所喜悅的事。
proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.
5:11▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
et nolite communicare operibus infructuosis tenebrarum , magis autem redarguite .
那暗昧無益的事,不要與人同行,倒要責備行這事的人;
Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
5:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Quae enim in occulto fiunt ab ipsis , turpe est et dicere .
因為他們暗中所行的,就是提起來也是可恥的。
For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
5:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Omnia autem , quae arguuntur , a lumine manifestantur : omne enim , quod manifestatur , lumen est .
凡事受了責備,就被光顯明出來,因為一切能顯明的就是光。
But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
5:14▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Propter quod dicit : Surge qui dormis , et exsurge a mortuis , et illuminabit te Christus .
所以主說: 你這睡着的人當醒過來, 從死裏復活! 基督就要光照你了。
Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
5:15▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Videte itaque , fratres , quomodo caute ambuletis : non quasi insipientes ,
你們要謹慎行事,不要像愚昧人,當像智慧人。
Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
5:16▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
sed ut sapientes : redimentes tempus , quoniam dies mali sunt .
要愛惜光陰,因為現今的世代邪惡。
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
5:17▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Propterea nolite fieri imprudentes , sed intelligentes quae sit voluntas Dei .
不要作糊塗人,要明白主的旨意如何。
Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
5:18▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Et nolite inebriari vino , in quo est luxuria , sed implemini Spiritu Sancto ,
不要醉酒,酒能使人放蕩;乃要被聖靈充滿。
Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
5:19▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
loquentes vobismetipsis in psalmis , et hymnis , et canticis spiritualibus , cantantes et psallentes in cordibus vestris Domino ,
當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說,口唱心和地讚美主。
speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
5:20▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
gratias agentes semper pro omnibus in nomine Domini nostri Jesu Christi Deo et Patri ,
凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父上帝。
giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

subjecti invicem in timore Christi .
又當存敬畏基督的心,彼此順服。
subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

Mulieres viris suis subditae sint , sicut Domino :
你們作妻子的,當順服自己的丈夫,如同順服主。
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
5:23▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
quoniam vir caput est mulieris , sicut Christus caput est Ecclesiae : ipse , salvator corporis ejus .
因為丈夫是妻子的頭,如同基督是教會的頭;他又是教會全體的救主。
For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
5:24▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Sed sicut Ecclesia subjecta est Christo , ita et mulieres viris suis in omnibus .
教會怎樣順服基督,妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
5:25▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Viri , diligite uxores vestras , sicut et Christus dilexit Ecclesiam , et seipsum tradidit pro ea ,
你們作丈夫的,要愛你們的妻子,正如基督愛教會,為教會捨己。
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,
5:26▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ut illam sanctificaret , mundans lavacro aquae in verbo vitae ,
要用水藉着道把教會洗淨,成為聖潔,
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
5:27▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ut exhiberet ipse sibi gloriosam Ecclesiam , non habentem maculam , aut rugam , aut aliquid hujusmodi , sed ut sit sancta et immaculata .
可以獻給自己,作個榮耀的教會,毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病,乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.
5:28▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Ita et viri debent diligere uxores suas ut corpora sua . Qui suam uxorem diligit , seipsum diligit .
丈夫也當照樣愛妻子,如同愛自己的身子;愛妻子便是愛自己了。
Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
5:29▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Nemo enim umquam carnem suam odio habuit : sed nutrit et fovet eam , sicut et Christus Ecclesiam :
從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子,總是保養顧惜,正像基督待教會一樣,
For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,
5:30▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
quia membra sumus corporis ejus , de carne ejus et de ossibus ejus .
因我們是他身上的肢體 。
because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
5:31▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Propter hoc relinquet homo patrem et matrem suam , et adhaerebit uxori suae , et erunt duo in carne una .
為這個緣故,人要離開父母,與妻子連合,二人成為一體。
“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”
5:32▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Sacramentum hoc magnum est , ego autem dico in Christo et in Ecclesia .
這是極大的奧祕,但我是指着基督和教會說的。
This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.
5:33▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
Verumtamen et vos singuli , unusquisque uxorem suam sicut seipsum diligat : uxor autem timeat virum suum .
然而,你們各人都當愛妻子,如同愛自己一樣。妻子也當敬重她的丈夫。
Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
