ℹ️ This corpus has no morphological tagging. Glosses are matched by word form against a dictionary — a match does not prove it is the same word (an inflected form can coincide with another word’s lemma). Verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

But those who are so weak that they cannot renounce their possessions, if they leave to the steward the things they were about to receive—things to be conferred upon those who have nothing—possess their own without sin: because they too in a certain manner relinquish their own, when, content with their own goods, they receive nothing of those things which they judge to be owed to their labor or their rank. But if they think that a portion of the things conferred on the Church ought to be received by them on this account—lest they seem to reject it, while they themselves cannot relinquish their own, because it would be unbecoming for them to be made poor among their own people—let them know that it is more unbecoming for possessors to be fed on the alms of the poor.
