ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.

Since, then, one of the things conceived as opposites must by all means be about us—either good or evil—clearly to say that someone is not in the good becomes a demonstration that he is altogether in the evil.
There is every necessity to have no doubt that, in him about whom these things were not, the things conceived as their opposites are present—weakness, dishonor, corruption, and as many things as are of such a kind, which have been spoken of in the foregoing discourses: namely, all the passions arising from evil that become hard to be rid of for the soul, having been blended throughout the whole of it, and grown together with it, and become one with it.
When, then, such [souls] have been thoroughly cleansed and made to vanish by the healings through fire, each of the things conceived as belonging to the better will come in their stead—incorruption, life, honor, grace, glory, power, and whatever else of such a kind we conjecture to be contemplated both in God and in His image, which is human nature.
