22:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι ποταμὸν ὕδατος ζωῆς λαμπρὸν ὡς κρύσταλλον , ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ τοῦ θρόνου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἀρνίου .
Et ostendit mihi fluvium aquae vitae , splendidum tamquam crystallum , procedentem de sede Dei et Agni .
ወአርአየኒ ፈለገ ዘማየ ሕይወት ጸዐዳ ከመ በረድ ወይወፅእ እምነ መንበሩ ለእግዚአብሔር ወሥልጣነ በግዑ ።
He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,
22:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐν μέσῳ τῆς πλατείας αὐτῆς καὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ἐκεῖθεν ξύλον ζωῆς ποιῶν καρποὺς δώδεκα , κατὰ μῆνα ἕκαστον ἀποδιδοὺς τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ , καὶ τὰ φύλλα τοῦ ξύλου εἰς θεραπείαν τῶν ἐθνῶν .
In medio plateae ejus , et ex utraque parte fluminis , lignum vitae , afferens fructus duodecim per menses singulos , reddens fructum suum et folia ligni ad sanitatem gentium .
ወይውኅዝ ውስተ ማእከለ መርሕባ ወእምለፌኒ ውእቱ ፈለግ ወእምከሓሁኒ ዕፀ ሕይወት ወይገብር ፍሬ ዐሠርተ ወክልኤተ ለለአሐዱ ወርኅ ወቈጽለ ዕፁኒ ፈውስ ለሕይወተ አሕዛብ ።
in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
22:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ πᾶν κατάθεμα οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι . καὶ ὁ θρόνος τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἀρνίου ἐν αὐτῇ ἔσται , καὶ οἱ δοῦλοι αὐτοῦ λατρεύσουσιν αὐτῷ ,
Et omne maledictum non erit amplius : sed sedes Dei et Agni in illa erunt , et servi ejus servient illi .
ወአልቦ እንከ ርኩስ ወኢምንትኒ ወሀለወ ውስቴታ መንበረ እግዚአብሔር ወበግዑ ወኢይከውን መዓት ላዕለ አግብርቲሁ ለእግዚአብሔር እለ ያመልክዎ ።
There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him.
22:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ὄψονται τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ , καὶ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῶν μετώπων αὐτῶν .
Et videbunt faciem ejus : et nomen ejus in frontibus eorum .
ወይሬእዩ ገጾ ወስሙ ውስተ ፍጽሞሙ ።
They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
22:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ νὺξ οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι , καὶ οὐκ ἔχουσιν χρείαν φωτὸς λύχνου καὶ φωτὸς ἡλίου , ὅτι κύριος ὁ θεὸς φωτιεῖ ἐπ’ αὐτούς , καὶ βασιλεύσουσιν εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων .
Et nox ultra non erit : et non egebunt lumine lucernae , neque lumine solis , quoniam Dominus Deus illuminabit illos , et regnabunt in saecula saeculorum .
ወአልቦ እንከ ሌሊት ወኢይፈቅዱ ብርሃነ ማኅቶት ወኢብርሃነ ፀሓይ እስመ እግዚአብሔር ያበርህ ላዕሌሆሙ ወይነግሡ ለዓለመ ዓለም ።
There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.
22:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ εἶπέν μοι , οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι πιστοὶ καὶ ἀληθινοί , καὶ ὁ κύριος , ὁ θεὸς τῶν πνευμάτων τῶν προφητῶν , ἀπέστειλεν τὸν ἄγγελον αὐτοῦ δεῖξαι τοῖς δούλοις αὐτοῦ ἃ δεῖ γενέσθαι ἐν τάχει .
Et dixit mihi : Haec verba fidelissima sunt , et vera . Et Dominus Deus spirituum prophetarum misit angelum suum ostendere servis suis quae oportet fieri cito .
ወይቤለኒ ዝክቱ ቃለ ጽድቅ ወመሃይምን እግዚእነ ወእግዚአብሔር አምላክነ ወመንፈሰ ነቢያት ዘፈነወ መልአኮ ከመ ያርእዮሙ ለአግብርቲሁ ዘሀለወ ይኩን ፍጡነ ።
He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”
22:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἰδοὺ ἔρχομαι ταχύ . μακάριος ὁ τηρῶν τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου .
Et ecce venio velociter . Beatus , qui custodit verba prophetiae libri hujus .
ወናሁ እመጽእ ፍጡነ ወብፁዕ ዘየዐቅብ ቃለ ተነብዮቱ ለዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ።
“Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
22:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ Κἀγὼ Ἰωάννης ὁ βλέπων καὶ ἀκούων ταῦτα . καὶ ὅτε ἤκουσα καὶ ἔβλεψα , ἔπεσα προσκυνῆσαι ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ποδῶν τοῦ ἀγγέλου τοῦ δεικνύοντός μοι ταῦτα .
Et ego Joannes , qui audivi , et vidi haec . Et postquam audissem , et vidissem , cecidi ut adorarem ante pedes angeli , qui mihi haec ostendebat :
ወአነ ዮሐንስ ዘርኢኩ ወዘሰማዕኩ ዘንተ ሰገድኩ ቅድመ እገሪሁ ለውእቱ መልአክ ዘአርአየንዮ ለዝንቱ ።
Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.
22:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ λέγει μοι , ὅρα μή · σύνδουλός σού εἰμι καὶ τῶν ἀδελφῶν σου τῶν προφητῶν καὶ τῶν τηρούντων τοὺς λόγους τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου · τῷ θεῷ προσκύνησον .
et dixit mihi : Vide ne feceris : conservus enim tuus sum , et fratrum tuorum prophetarum , et eorum qui servant verba prophetiae libri hujus : Deum adora .
ወይቤለኒ ኢትስግድ ሊተ ዑቅ ዮጊ ገብረ አጋዕዝቲከ አነ ወዘአኀዊከ ነቢያት ወዘእለ የዐቅቡ ቃለ ዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ።
He said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
22:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ λέγει μοι , μὴ σφραγίσῃς τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου , ὁ καιρὸς γὰρ ἐγγύς ἐστιν .
Et dicit mihi : Ne signaveris verba prophetiae libri hujus : tempus enim prope est .
ወአንተሰ ለእግዚአብሔር ስግድ ወኢትኅትም ቃለ ተነብዮቱ ለዝንቱ መጽሐፍ እስመ በጽሐ ዘመኑ ።
He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
22:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ ὁ ἀδικῶν ἀδικησάτω ἔτι , καὶ ὁ ῥυπαρὸς ῥυπανθήτω ἔτι , καὶ ὁ δίκαιος δικαιοσύνην ποιησάτω ἔτι , καὶ ὁ ἅγιος ἁγιασθήτω ἔτι .
Qui nocet , noceat adhuc : et qui in sordibus est , sordescat adhuc : et qui justus est , justificetur adhuc : et sanctus , sanctificetur adhuc .
ወለዘገፍዐኒ ይገፍዕዎ እንከ ወለዘረስሐኒ ያረስሕዎ እንከ ወጻድቅ ለይጽደቅ ወንጹሕኒ ለይንጻሕ ።
He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”
22:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἰδοὺ ἔρχομαι ταχύ , καὶ ὁ μισθός μου μετ’ ἐμοῦ , ἀποδοῦναι ἑκάστῳ ὡς τὸ ἔργον ἐστὶν αὐτοῦ .
Ecce venio cito , et merces mea mecum est , reddere unicuique secundum opera sua .
ወናሁ እመጽእ ፍጡነ ወዕሴትየኒ ምስሌየ ውእቱ ከመ እፍድዮ ለለ አሐዱ ወእኰንኖ በከመ ምግባሩ ።
“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.
22:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐγὼ τὸ ἄλφα καὶ τὸ ω , ὁ πρῶτος καὶ ὁ ἔσχατος , ἡ ἀρχὴ καὶ τὸ τέλος .
Ego sum alpha et omega , primus et novissimus , principium et finis .
አነ ውእቱ አልፋ ወኦ አነ ቀዳማዊ ወአነ ደኃራዊ ርእስ ወማኅለቅት ።
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
22:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ μακάριοι οἱ πλύνοντες τὰς στολὰς αὐτῶν , ἵνα ἔσται ἡ ἐξουσία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ ξύλον τῆς ζωῆς καὶ τοῖς πυλῶσιν εἰσέλθωσιν εἰς τὴν πόλιν .
Beati , qui lavant stolas suas in sanguine Agni : ut sit potestas eorum in ligno vitae , et per portas intrent in civitatem .
ብፁዓን እለ አንጽሑ አልባሲሆሙ ከመ ይኩን ሥልጣኖሙ ላዕለ ዕፀ ሕይወት ወይበውእዋ እንተ አናቅጺሃ ለዛ ሀገር ።
Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
22:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἔξω οἱ κύνες καὶ οἱ φάρμακοι καὶ οἱ πόρνοι καὶ οἱ φονεῖς καὶ οἱ εἰδωλολάτραι καὶ πᾶς ποιῶν καὶ φιλῶν ψεῦδος .
Foris canes , et venefici , et impudici , et homicidae , et idolis servientes , et omnis qui amat et facit mendacium .
ወይወፅኡ አፍኣ ኀምስቱ አክላብ እለ ሥራይ ወዘማውያን ወቀታልያን ወእለ ያመልኩ ጣዖተ ወኵሎሙ እለ ያፈቅሩ ግብረ ሐሰት ።
Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
22:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐγὼ Ἰησοῦς ἔπεμψα τὸν ἄγγελόν μου μαρτυρῆσαι ὑμῖν ταῦτα ἐπὶ ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις . ἐγώ εἰμι ἡ ῥίζα καὶ τὸ γένος Δαυείδ , ὁ ἀστὴρ ὁ λαμπρὸς ὁ πρωϊνός .
Ego Jesus misi angelum meum testificari vobis haec in ecclesiis . Ego sum radix , et genus David , stella splendida et matutina .
አነ ኢየሱስ ፈነውኩ መልአክየ ያስምዕ ለክሙ ዘንተ ለአብያተ ክርስቲያናት አነ ውእቱ ሥርው ዘእምዘመደ ዳዊት ኮከበ ብርሃን ጽባሓዊ ።
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
22:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα καὶ ἡ νύμφη λέγουσιν , ἔρχου . καὶ ὁ ἀκούων εἰπάτω , ἔρχου . καὶ ὁ διψῶν ἐρχέσθω , ὁ θέλων λαβέτω ὕδωρ ζωῆς δωρεάν .
Et spiritus , et sponsa dicunt : Veni . Et qui audit , dicat : Veni . Et qui sitit , veniat : et qui vult , accipiat aquam vitae , gratis .
ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ ዘመርዔት ይቤሉ ለይምጻእ ወዘጸምዐኒ ለይምጻእ ወዘይፈቅድ ለይንሣእ ማየ ሕይወት በከንቱ ።
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.
22:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ Μαρτυρῶ ἐγὼ παντὶ τῷ ἀκούοντι τοὺς λόγους τῆς προφητείας τοῦ βιβλίου τούτου · ἐάν τις ἐπιθῇ ἐπ’ αὐτά , ἐπιθήσει ἐπ’ αὐτὸν ὁ θεὸς τὰς πληγὰς τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τούτῳ ·
Contestor enim omni audienti verba prophetiae libri hujus : si quis apposuerit ad haec , apponet Deus super illum plagas scriptas in libro isto .
ወአነ ስምዑ ለኵሉ ዘይሰምዕ ቃለ ዝንቱ መጽሐፍ እመ ወሰከ ዲቤሁ ይዌስክ እግዚአብሔር ላዕሌሁ መቅሠፍተ ዘጽሑፍ ውስተ ዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ።
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book.
22:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ ἐάν τις ἀφέλῃ ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων τοῦ βιβλίου τῆς προφητείας ταύτης , ἀφελεῖ ὁ θεὸς τὸ μέρος αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ξύλου τῆς ζωῆς καὶ ἐκ τῆς πόλεως τῆς ἁγίας , τῶν γεγραμμένων ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τούτῳ .
Et si quis diminuerit de verbis libri prophetiae hujus , auferet Deus partem ejus de libro vitae , et de civitate sancta , et de his quae scripta sunt in libro isto :
ወእመኒ አሰሰለ እምውስተ ቃለ ዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ያሴስል እግዚአብሔር ክፍሎ እምዕፀ ሕይወት ወእምነ ሀገር ቅድስት ዘጽሑፍ ውስተ ዝንቱ መጽሐፍ ።
If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.
22:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ Λέγει ὁ μαρτυρῶν ταῦτα · ναί , ἔρχομαι ταχύ . Ἀμήν , ἔρχου κύριε Ἰησοῦ .
dicit qui testimonium perhibet istorum . Etiam venio cito : amen . Veni , Domine Jesu .
ወይበል ዘሰምዐ ዘንተ እወ እመጽእ ፍጡነ አሜን ነዓ እግዚእየ ኢየሱስ ።
He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
22:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ μετὰ πάντων .
Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi cum omnibus vobis . Amen .
ጸጋሁ ለእግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ምስለ ኵልክሙ አሜን ። በዝየ ተፈጸመ ራእየ ዮሐንስ አቡቀለምሲስ ዘውእቱ ብሂል ዘርእየ በሕይወቱ ራእየ ። ወስብሐት ለእግዚአብሔር አሜን ።
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
