36:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽיִּקְרְב֞וּ רָאשֵׁ֣י הָֽאָב֗וֹת לְמִשְׁפַּ֤חַת בְּנֵֽי ־גִלְעָד֙ בֶּן ־מָכִ֣יר בֶּן ־מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה מִֽמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יוֹסֵ֑ף וַֽיְדַבְּר֞וּ לִפְנֵ֤י מֹשֶׁה֙ וְלִפְנֵ֣י הַנְּשִׂאִ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֖וֹת לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ ἄρχοντες φυλῆς υἱῶν Γαλααδ υἱοῦ Μαχιρ υἱοῦ Μανασση ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἐλάλησαν ἔναντι Μωυσῆ καὶ ἔναντι Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἔναντι τῶν ἀρχόντων οἴκων πατριῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Accesserunt autem et principes familiarum Galaad filii Machir filii Manasse , de stirpe filiorum Joseph : locutique sunt Moysi coram principibus Israël , atque dixerunt :
ወመጽኡ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ ነገደ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አቡሁ ፡ ለገላአድ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ማኪር ፡ ወልደ ፡ መናሴ ፡ ዘእምነገደ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ዮሴፍ ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ እልዓዛር ፡ ካህን ፡ ወቅድመ ፡ መላእክተ ፡ አብያተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
The heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the princes, the heads of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel.
36:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ אֶת ־אֲדֹנִי֙ צִוָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה לָתֵ֨ת אֶת ־הָאָ֧רֶץ בְּנַחֲלָ֛ה בְּגוֹרָ֖ל לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַֽאדֹנִי֙ צֻוָּ֣ה בַֽיהֹוָ֔ה לָתֵ֗ת אֶֽת ־נַחֲלַ֛ת צְלׇפְחָ֥ד אָחִ֖ינוּ לִבְנֹתָֽיו ׃
καὶ εἶπαν τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἀποδοῦναι τὴν γῆν τῆς κληρονομίας ἐν κλήρῳ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ τῷ κυρίῳ συνέταξεν κύριος δοῦναι τὴν κληρονομίαν Σαλπααδ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ ἡμῶν ταῖς θυγατράσιν αὐτοῦ
Tibi domino nostro praecepit Dominus ut terram sorte divideres filiis Israël , et ut filiabus Salphaad fratris nostri dares possessionem debitam patri :
ወይቤሉ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእግዚእነ ፡ ከመ ፡ የሀቦሙ ፡ ምድረ ፡ ርስቶሙ ፡ በበ ፡ መክፈልቶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወአዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለእግዚእነ ፡ ከመ ፡ የሀቦን ፡ መክፈልቶ ፡ ለሰልጰአድ ፡ እኁነ ፡ ለአዋልዲሁ ።
They said, “Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel. My lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
36:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְ֠הָי֠וּ לְאֶחָ֞ד מִבְּנֵ֨י שִׁבְטֵ֥י בְנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ לְנָשִׁים֒ וְנִגְרְעָ֤ה נַחֲלָתָן֙ מִנַּחֲלַ֣ת אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ וְנוֹסַ֕ף עַ֚ל נַחֲלַ֣ת הַמַּטֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּהְיֶ֖ינָה לָהֶ֑ם וּמִגֹּרַ֥ל נַחֲלָתֵ֖נוּ יִגָּרֵֽעַ ׃
καὶ ἔσονται ἑνὶ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ γυναῖκες καὶ ἀφαιρεθήσεται ὁ κλῆρος αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς κατασχέσεως τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν καὶ προστεθήσεται εἰς κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες καὶ ἐκ τοῦ κλήρου τῆς κληρονομίας ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται
quas si alterius tribus homines uxores acceperint , sequetur possessio sua , et translata ad aliam tribum , de nostra haereditate minuetur .
ወይኩናሆሙ ፡ አንስቲያሆሙ ፡ ለ፩እምነገዶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይወፅእ ፡ መክፈልቶን ፡ እምውስተ ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ አበዊነ ፡ ወይትዌሰክ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ካልእ ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ ነገድ ፡ ኀበ ፡ አውሰባ ፡ ወይወፅእ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ መክፈልተ ፡ ርስትነ ።
If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So it will be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.
36:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִם ־יִהְיֶ֣ה הַיֹּבֵל֮ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וְנֽוֹסְפָה֙ נַחֲלָתָ֔ן עַ֚ל נַחֲלַ֣ת הַמַּטֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּהְיֶ֖ינָה לָהֶ֑ם וּמִֽנַּחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ יִגָּרַ֖ע נַחֲלָתָֽן ׃
ἐὰν δὲ γένηται ἡ ἄφεσις τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ προστεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς κληρονομίας φυλῆς πατριᾶς ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν
Atque ita fiet , ut cum jubilaeus , id est , quinquagesimus annus remissionis advenerit , confundatur sortium distributio , et aliorum possessio ad alios transeat .
ለእመ ፡ ይከው [ን ] ፡ ይፃእ ፡ እምደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ወይግባእ ፡ ርስቶሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ርስተ ፡ ካልእ ፡ ነገድ ፡ ኀበ ፡ አውሰባ ፡ እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ርስቶሙ ፡ ወመክፈልቶሙ ፡ ለነገደ ፡ አበዊነ ።
When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”
36:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְצַ֤ו מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת ־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַל ־פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר כֵּ֛ן מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי ־יוֹסֵ֖ף דֹּבְרִֽים ׃
καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου λέγων οὕτως φυλὴ υἱῶν Ιωσηφ λέγουσιν
Respondit Moyses filiis Israël , et Domino praecipiente ait : Recte tribus filiorum Joseph locuta est .
ወአዘዞሙ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ በትእዛዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ይቤሉ ፡ ነገደ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ዮሴፍ ።
Moses commanded the children of Israel according to Yahweh’s word, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph speak what is right.
36:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר ־צִוָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֗ה לִבְנ֤וֹת צְלׇפְחָד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה לְנָשִׁ֑ים אַ֗ךְ לְמִשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אֲבִיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֥ינָה לְנָשִֽׁים ׃
τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ συνέταξεν κύριος ταῖς θυγατράσιν Σαλπααδ λέγων οὗ ἀρέσκει ἐναντίον αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες πλὴν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες
Et haec lex super filiabus Salphaad a Domino promulgata est : nubant quibus volunt , tantum ut suae tribus hominibus :
ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ቃል ፡ ዘአዘዞን ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለአዋልደ ፡ ሰልጰአድ ፡ ወይቤ ፡ ዘአደሞን ፡ በቅድሜሆን ፡ ለያውስባ ፡ [ወዳእሙ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ነገደ ፡ አበዊሆን ፡ ለያውስባ ፡]፡
This is the thing which Yahweh commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them be married to whom they think best, only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father.
36:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹֽא ־תִסֹּ֤ב נַחֲלָה֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִמַּטֶּ֖ה אֶל ־מַטֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י אִ֗ישׁ בְּנַחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתָ֔יו יִדְבְּק֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ οὐχὶ περιστραφήσεται κληρονομία τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλήν ὅτι ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ τῆς φυλῆς τῆς πατριᾶς αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ
ne commisceatur possessio filiorum Israël de tribu in tribum . Omnes enim viri ducent uxores de tribu et cognatione sua :
ወኢይግባእ ፡ ርስቶሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምነገድ ፡ ለነገድ ፡ እስመ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ርስተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ፡ ይትልው ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
36:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכׇל ־בַּ֞ת יֹרֶ֣שֶׁת נַחֲלָ֗ה מִמַּטּוֹת֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לְאֶחָ֗ד מִמִּשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אָבִ֖יהָ תִּהְיֶ֣ה לְאִשָּׁ֑ה לְמַ֗עַן יִֽירְשׁוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִ֖ישׁ נַחֲלַ֥ת אֲבֹתָֽיו ׃
καὶ πᾶσα θυγάτηρ ἀγχιστεύουσα κληρονομίαν ἐκ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἑνὶ τῶν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς ἔσονται γυναῖκες ἵνα ἀγχιστεύσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἕκαστος τὴν κληρονομίαν τὴν πατρικὴν αὐτοῦ
et cunctae feminae de eadem tribu maritos accipient : ut haereditas permaneat in familiis ,
ወኵሉ ፡ ወለት ፡ እንተ ፡ ተኅሥሥ ፡ ርስተ ፡ እምነ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ አሐደ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ነገዶን ፡ ለያውስባ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይኅሥሡ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ፡ ርስተ ፡ አበዊሆሙ ።
Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers.
36:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְלֹֽא ־תִסֹּ֧ב נַחֲלָ֛ה מִמַּטֶּ֖ה לְמַטֶּ֣ה אַחֵ֑ר כִּי ־אִישׁ֙ בְּנַ֣חֲלָת֔וֹ יִדְבְּק֕וּ מַטּ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ οὐ περιστραφήσεται κλῆρος ἐκ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλὴν ἑτέραν ἀλλὰ ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ
nec sibi misceantur tribus , sed ita maneant
ወኢይግባእ ፡ ርስት ፡ እምነገድ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ካልእ ፡ ነገድ ፡ አላ ፡ ፩፩ውስተ ፡ መክፈልቶሙ ፡ ይትልው ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ።
So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’”
36:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת ־מֹשֶׁ֑ה כֵּ֥ן עָשׂ֖וּ בְּנ֥וֹת צְלׇפְחָֽד ׃
ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος Μωυσῇ οὕτως ἐποίησαν θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ
ut a Domino separatae sunt . Feceruntque filiae Salphaad ut fuerat imperatum :
ወገብራ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ሰልጰአድ ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዞ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ።
The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses:
36:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתִּהְיֶ֜ינָה מַחְלָ֣ה תִרְצָ֗ה וְחׇגְלָ֧ה וּמִלְכָּ֛ה וְנֹעָ֖ה בְּנ֣וֹת צְלׇפְחָ֑ד לִבְנֵ֥י דֹדֵיהֶ֖ן לְנָשִֽׁים ׃
καὶ ἐγένοντο Θερσα καὶ Εγλα καὶ Μελχα καὶ Νουα καὶ Μααλα θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ τοῖς ἀνεψιοῖς αὐτῶν
et nupserunt Maala , et Thersa , et Hegla , et Melcha , et Noa , filiis patrui sui
ወአውሰባ ፡ አዋልደ ፡ ሰልጰአድ ፡ ዘእምደቂቀ ፡ ቅሩቦን ፡ ዘእምውስተ ፡ ነገደ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ መናሴ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ዮሴፍ ፤
for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons.
36:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִֽמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֛ת בְּנֵֽי ־מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה בֶן ־יוֹסֵ֖ף הָי֣וּ לְנָשִׁ֑ים וַתְּהִי֙ נַחֲלָתָ֔ן עַל ־מַטֵּ֖ה מִשְׁפַּ֥חַת אֲבִיהֶֽן ׃
ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Μανασση υἱῶν Ιωσηφ ἐγενήθησαν γυναῖκες καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν
de familia Manasse , qui fuit filius Joseph : et possessio , quae illis fuerat attributa , mansit in tribu et familia patris earum .
መሐላ ፡ ወቴርሳ ፡ ወሔግላ ፡ ወሜልካ ፡ ወኑሐ ፡ ወገብአ ፡ መክፈልቶን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ነገደ ፡ ሕዝበ ፡ አበዊሆን ።
They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph. Their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
36:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֣לֶּה הַמִּצְוֺ֞ת וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה בְּיַד ־מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל ־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּעַֽרְבֹ֣ת מוֹאָ֔ב עַ֖ל יַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵחֽוֹ ׃
αὗται αἱ ἐντολαὶ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ ἐπὶ δυσμῶν Μωαβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω
Haec sunt mandata atque judicia , quae mandavit Dominus per manum Moysi ad filios Israël , in campestribus Moab supra Jordanem contra Jericho .
ዝንቱ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ትእዛዝ ፡ ወኵነኔ ፡ ወፍትሕ ፡ ዘአዘዘ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በእደ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ በዐረቢሃ ፡ ለሞአብ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ዮርዳንስ ፡ ዘመንገለ ፡ ኢየሪኮ ።(:ተፈጸመ ፡ ኦሪት ፡ ዘኍልቍ ።)
These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
