16:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקַּ֣ח קֹ֔רַח בֶּן ־יִצְהָ֥ר בֶּן ־קְהָ֖ת בֶּן ־לֵוִ֑י וְדָתָ֨ן וַאֲבִירָ֜ם בְּנֵ֧י אֱלִיאָ֛ב וְא֥וֹן בֶּן ־פֶּ֖לֶת בְּנֵ֥י רְאוּבֵֽן ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κορε υἱὸς Ισσααρ υἱοῦ Κααθ υἱοῦ Λευι καὶ Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων υἱοὶ Ελιαβ καὶ Αυν υἱὸς Φαλεθ υἱοῦ Ρουβην
Ecce autem Core filius Isaar , filii Caath , filii Levi , et Dathan atque Abiron filii Eliab , Hon quoque filius Pheleth de filiis Ruben ,
ወተናገሮ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወልደ ፡ ይስአር ፡ ወልደ ፡ ቃዓት ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ወዳታን ፡ ወአቢሮን ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኤልያብ ፡ ወአውናን ፡ ወልደ ፡ ፋሌት ፡ ወልደ ፡ ሮቤል ።
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took some men.
16:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּקֻ֙מוּ֙ לִפְנֵ֣י מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַאֲנָשִׁ֥ים מִבְּנֵֽי ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּמָאתָ֑יִם נְשִׂיאֵ֥י עֵדָ֛ה קְרִאֵ֥י מוֹעֵ֖ד אַנְשֵׁי ־שֵֽׁם ׃
καὶ ἀνέστησαν ἔναντι Μωυσῆ καὶ ἄνδρες τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ πεντήκοντα καὶ διακόσιοι ἀρχηγοὶ συναγωγῆς σύγκλητοι βουλῆς καὶ ἄνδρες ὀνομαστοί
surrexerunt contra Moysen , aliique filiorum Israël ducenti quinquaginta viri proceres synagogae , et qui tempore concilii per nomina vocabantur .
ወተቃወምዎ ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወዕደውኒ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ክልኤ ፡ ምእት ፡ ወኀምሳ ፡ ዐበይተ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ ኅሩያን ፡ በውስተ ፡ ምክር ፡ ወዕደው ፡ ስሙያን ።
They rose up before Moses, with some of the children of Israel, two hundred fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown.
16:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּֽקָּהֲל֞וּ עַל ־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְעַֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֗ן וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֲלֵהֶם֮ רַב ־לָכֶם֒ כִּ֤י כׇל ־הָֽעֵדָה֙ כֻּלָּ֣ם קְדֹשִׁ֔ים וּבְתוֹכָ֖ם יְהֹוָ֑ה וּמַדּ֥וּעַ תִּֽתְנַשְּׂא֖וּ עַל ־קְהַ֥ל יְהֹוָֽה ׃
συνέστησαν ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων καὶ εἶπαν ἐχέτω ὑμῖν ὅτι πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ πάντες ἅγιοι καὶ ἐν αὐτοῖς κύριος καὶ διὰ τί κατανίστασθε ἐπὶ τὴν συναγωγὴν κυρίου
Cumque stetissent adversum Moysen et Aaron , dixerunt : Sufficiat vobis , quia omnis multitudo sanctorum est , et in ipsis est Dominus : cur elevamini super populum Domini ?
ተንሥኡ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወዲበ ፡ አሮን ፡ ወይቤልዎሙ ፡ ይኩንክሙ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ እስመ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ተዓይን ፡ ቅዱሳ [ን ] ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ወእግዚአብሔር ፡ ሀለወ ፡ ውስቴቶሙ ፡ ወለምንት ፡ ትቀውሙ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ትዕይንቱ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and Yahweh is among them! Why do you lift yourselves up above Yahweh’s assembly?”
16:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיִּפֹּ֖ל עַל ־פָּנָֽיו ׃
καὶ ἀκούσας Μωυσῆς ἔπεσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον
Quod cum audisset Moyses , cecidit pronus in faciem :
ወሶበ ፡ ሰምዐ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወድቀ ፡ በገጹ ።
When Moses heard it, he fell on his face.
16:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר אֶל ־קֹ֜רַח וְאֶֽל ־כׇּל ־עֲדָתוֹ֮ לֵאמֹר֒ בֹּ֠קֶר וְיֹדַ֨ע יְהֹוָ֧ה אֶת ־אֲשֶׁר ־ל֛וֹ וְאֶת ־הַקָּד֖וֹשׁ וְהִקְרִ֣יב אֵלָ֑יו וְאֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחַר ־בּ֖וֹ יַקְרִ֥יב אֵלָֽיו ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Κορε καὶ πρὸς πᾶσαν αὐτοῦ τὴν συναγωγὴν λέγων ἐπέσκεπται καὶ ἔγνω ὁ θεὸς τοὺς ὄντας αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἁγίους καὶ προσηγάγετο πρὸς ἑαυτόν καὶ οὓς ἐξελέξατο ἑαυτῷ προσηγάγετο πρὸς ἑαυτόν
locutusque ad Core et ad omnem multitudinem : Mane , inquit , notum faciet Dominus qui ad se pertineant , et sanctos applicabit sibi : et quos elegerit , appropinquabunt ei .
ወይቤሎ ፡ ለቆሬ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ትዕይንቱ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብል ፡ ለይርአይ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወለያእምሮሙ ፡ ለእሊአሁ ፡ ወያስተጋብኦሙ ፡ ኀቤሁ ፡ ለቅዱሳኒሁ ።
He said to Korah and to all his company, “In the morning, Yahweh will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him. Even him whom he shall choose, he will cause to come near to him.
16:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ זֹ֖את עֲשׂ֑וּ קְחוּ ־לָכֶ֣ם מַחְתּ֔וֹת קֹ֖רַח וְכׇל ־עֲדָתֽוֹ ׃
τοῦτο ποιήσατε λάβετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς πυρεῖα Κορε καὶ πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ αὐτοῦ
Hoc igitur facite : tollat unusquisque thuribula sua , tu Core , et omne concilium tuum :
ወከመዝ ፡ ግበሩ ፡ አንትሙ ፡ ንሥኡ ፡ ለክሙ ፡ መዓጥንተ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ትዕይንቱ ።
Do this: have Korah and all his company take censers,
16:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּתְנ֣וּ בָהֵ֣ן ׀אֵ֡שׁ וְשִׂ֩ימוּ֩ עֲלֵיהֶ֨ן ׀קְטֹ֜רֶת לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ מָחָ֔ר וְהָיָ֗ה הָאִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁר ־יִבְחַ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה ה֣וּא הַקָּד֑וֹשׁ רַב ־לָכֶ֖ם בְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי ׃
καὶ ἐπίθετε ἐπ’ αὐτὰ πῦρ καὶ ἐπίθετε ἐπ’ αὐτὰ θυμίαμα ἔναντι κυρίου αὔριον καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἀνήρ ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος οὗτος ἅγιος ἱκανούσθω ὑμῖν υἱοὶ Λευι
et hausto cras igne , ponite desuper thymiama coram Domino : et quemcumque elegerit , ipse erit sanctus : multum erigimini filii Levi .
ወደዩ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ወደዩ ፡ ዲቤሁ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጌሠመ ፡ ወይኩን ፡ ዝክቱ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘኀርየ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ቅዱሰ ፡ ይኩኖሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ።
put fire in them, and put incense on them before Yahweh tomorrow. It shall be that the man whom Yahweh chooses, he shall be holy. You have gone too far, you sons of Levi!”
16:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל ־קֹ֑רַח שִׁמְעוּ ־נָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Κορε εἰσακούσατέ μου υἱοὶ Λευι
Dixitque rursum ad Core : Audite , filii Levi :
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለቆሬ ፡ ስምዑኒ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ።
Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi!
16:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַמְעַ֣ט מִכֶּ֗ם כִּֽי ־הִבְדִּיל֩ אֱלֹהֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל אֶתְכֶם֙ מֵעֲדַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְהַקְרִ֥יב אֶתְכֶ֖ם אֵלָ֑יו לַעֲבֹ֗ד אֶת ־עֲבֹדַת֙ מִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהֹוָ֔ה וְלַעֲמֹ֛ד לִפְנֵ֥י הָעֵדָ֖ה לְשָׁרְתָֽם ׃
μὴ μικρόν ἐστιν τοῦτο ὑμῖν ὅτι διέστειλεν ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ὑμᾶς ἐκ συναγωγῆς Ισραηλ καὶ προσηγάγετο ὑμᾶς πρὸς ἑαυτὸν λειτουργεῖν τὰς λειτουργίας τῆς σκηνῆς κυρίου καὶ παρίστασθαι ἔναντι τῆς συναγωγῆς λατρεύειν αὐτοῖς
num parum vobis est quod separavit vos Deus Israël ab omni populo , et junxit sibi , ut serviretis ei in cultu tabernaculi , et staretis coram frequentia populi , et ministraretis ei ?
ታስተንእስዎኑ ፡ አንትሙ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ዘኀርየክሙ ፡ አምላከ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምነ ፡ ትዕይንቶሙ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ ወአቅረበክሙ ፡ ኀቤሁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትግበሩ ፡ ምግባረ ፡ ደብተራሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወትቁሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ወትትለአክዎ ።
Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of Yahweh’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;
16:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּקְרֵב֙ אֹֽתְךָ֔ וְאֶת ־כׇּל ־אַחֶ֥יךָ בְנֵי ־לֵוִ֖י אִתָּ֑ךְ וּבִקַּשְׁתֶּ֖ם גַּם ־כְּהֻנָּֽה ׃
καὶ προσηγάγετό σε καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀδελφούς σου υἱοὺς Λευι μετὰ σοῦ καὶ ζητεῖτε ἱερατεύειν
idcirco ad se fecit accedere te et omnes fratres tuos filios Levi , ut vobis etiam sacerdotium vindicetis ,
ወአቅረበከ ፡ ለከ ፡ ወለአኀዊከ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ወትፈቅዱ ፡ ትኩኑ ፡ ካህናተ ።
and that he has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? Do you seek the priesthood also?
16:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָכֵ֗ן אַתָּה֙ וְכׇל ־עֲדָ֣תְךָ֔ הַנֹּעָדִ֖ים עַל ־יְהֹוָ֑ה וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן מַה ־ה֔וּא כִּ֥י (תלונו ) [תַלִּ֖ינוּ ] עָלָֽיו ׃
οὕτως σὺ καὶ πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγή σου ἡ συνηθροισμένη πρὸς τὸν θεόν καὶ Ααρων τίς ἐστιν ὅτι διαγογγύζετε κατ’ αὐτοῦ
et omnis globus tuus stet contra Dominum ? quid est enim Aaron ut murmuretis contra eum ?
ወከማሁ ፡ አንተኒ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ትዕይንትከ ፡ እንተ ፡ አንገለገት ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ [ወአሮን ፡ ምንት ፡ ውእቱ ፡] ከመ ፡ ታንጐርጕሩ ፡ ላዕሌሁ ።
Therefore you and all your company have gathered together against Yahweh! What is Aaron that you complain against him?”
16:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח מֹשֶׁ֔ה לִקְרֹ֛א לְדָתָ֥ן וְלַאֲבִירָ֖ם בְּנֵ֣י אֱלִיאָ֑ב וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ לֹ֥א נַעֲלֶֽה ׃
καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μωυσῆς καλέσαι Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων υἱοὺς Ελιαβ καὶ εἶπαν οὐκ ἀναβαίνομεν
Misit ergo Moyses ut vocaret Dathan et Abiron filios Eliab . Qui responderunt : Non venimus .
ወለአከ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ይጸውዕዎሙ ፡ ለዳታን ፡ ወለአቤሮን ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ኤልያብ ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ ኢንመጽእ ።
Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, “We won’t come up!
16:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַמְעַ֗ט כִּ֤י הֶֽעֱלִיתָ֙נוּ֙ מֵאֶ֨רֶץ זָבַ֤ת חָלָב֙ וּדְבַ֔שׁ לַהֲמִיתֵ֖נוּ בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר כִּֽי ־תִשְׂתָּרֵ֥ר עָלֵ֖ינוּ גַּם ־הִשְׂתָּרֵֽר ׃
μὴ μικρὸν τοῦτο ὅτι ἀνήγαγες ἡμᾶς ἐκ γῆς ῥεούσης γάλα καὶ μέλι ἀποκτεῖναι ἡμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὅτι κατάρχεις ἡμῶν ἄρχων
Numquid parum est tibi quod eduxisti nos de terra , quae lacte et melle manabat , ut occideres in deserto , nisi et dominatus fueris nostri ?
ታስተንእስኑአ ፡ ዘንተአ ፡ ዘአባእከነአ ፡ ውስተአ ፡ ምድርአ ፡ እንተ ፡ ትውሕዝአ ፡ ሐሊበአ ፡ ወመዓረአ ፡ ዘቀተልከነአ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገዳምአ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትትመልአክአ ፡ ለነአ ።
Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, but you must also make yourself a prince over us?
16:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ אַ֡ף לֹ֣א אֶל ־אֶ֩רֶץ֩ זָבַ֨ת חָלָ֤ב וּדְבַשׁ֙ הֲבִ֣יאֹתָ֔נוּ וַתִּ֨תֶּן ־לָ֔נוּ נַחֲלַ֖ת שָׂדֶ֣ה וָכָ֑רֶם הַעֵינֵ֞י הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָהֵ֛ם תְּנַקֵּ֖ר לֹ֥א נַעֲלֶֽה ׃
εἰ καὶ εἰς γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι εἰσήγαγες ἡμᾶς καὶ ἔδωκας ἡμῖν κλῆρον ἀγροῦ καὶ ἀμπελῶνας τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐκείνων ἂν ἐξέκοψας οὐκ ἀναβαίνομεν
Revera induxisti nos in terram , quae fluit rivis lactis et mellis , et dedisti nobis possessiones agrorum et vinearum : an et oculos nostros vis eruere ? non venimus .
መልአክኑአ ፡ አንተሂአ ፡ ካዕበአ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድርኑ አ ፡ እንተአ ፡ ትውሕዝአ ፡ ሐሊበአ ፡ ወመዓረአ ፡ አባእከነአ ፡ ዘንተአ ፡ ዘወሀብከነአ ፡ መክፈልተአ ፡ ውስተአ ፡ ገዳምአ ፡ ወአዕጻደ ፡ ወይንሂአ ፡ ዝክቱኑአ ፡ አዕይንቲሆሙ ፡ ለእልክቱአ ፡ ዕደውአ ፡ ዘአውጻእከአ ፡ ኢንመጽእአ ።
Moreover you haven’t brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We won’t come up.”
16:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּ֤חַר לְמֹשֶׁה֙ מְאֹ֔ד וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל ־יְהֹוָ֔ה אַל ־תֵּ֖פֶן אֶל ־מִנְחָתָ֑ם לֹ֠א חֲמ֨וֹר אֶחָ֤ד מֵהֶם֙ נָשָׂ֔אתִי וְלֹ֥א הֲרֵעֹ֖תִי אֶת ־אַחַ֥ד מֵהֶֽם ׃
καὶ ἐβαρυθύμησεν Μωυσῆς σφόδρα καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς κύριον μὴ προσχῇς εἰς τὴν θυσίαν αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐπιθύμημα οὐδενὸς αὐτῶν εἴληφα οὐδὲ ἐκάκωσα οὐδένα αὐτῶν
Iratusque Moyses valde , ait ad Dominum : Ne respicias sacrificia eorum : tu scis quod ne asellum quidem umquam acceperim ab eis , nec afflixerim quempiam eorum .
ወአክበደ ፡ ተክዞ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ኢትነጽር ፡ ውስተ ፡ መሥዋዕቶሙ ፡ አልቦ ፡ ዘነሣእኩ ፡ ወኢዘአሐዱ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ፡ ተፈቲውየ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ዘአሕሠምኩ ፡ ወኢላዕለ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ እምኔሆሙ ።
Moses was very angry, and said to Yahweh, “Don’t respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them.”
16:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל ־קֹ֔רַח אַתָּה֙ וְכׇל ־עֲדָ֣תְךָ֔ הֱי֖וּ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה אַתָּ֥ה וָהֵ֛ם וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן מָחָֽר ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Κορε ἁγίασον τὴν συναγωγήν σου καὶ γίνεσθε ἕτοιμοι ἔναντι κυρίου σὺ καὶ αὐτοὶ καὶ Ααρων αὔριον
Dixitque ad Core : Tu , et omnis congregatio tua , state seorsum coram Domino , et Aaron die crastino separatim .
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለቆሬ ፡ ቀድስ ፡ ትዕይንተከ ፡ ወኩኑ ፡ ድልዋነ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አንተ ፡ ወእሙንቱ ፡ ወአሮን ፡ ለጌሠም ።
Moses said to Korah, “You and all your company go before Yahweh, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow.
16:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּקְח֣וּ ׀ אִ֣ישׁ מַחְתָּת֗וֹ וּנְתַתֶּ֤ם עֲלֵיהֶם֙ קְטֹ֔רֶת וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֞ם לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ אִ֣ישׁ מַחְתָּת֔וֹ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים וּמָאתַ֖יִם מַחְתֹּ֑ת וְאַתָּ֥ה וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן אִ֥ישׁ מַחְתָּתֽוֹ ׃
καὶ λάβετε ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιθήσετε ἐπ’ αὐτὰ θυμίαμα καὶ προσάξετε ἔναντι κυρίου ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ πεντήκοντα καὶ διακόσια πυρεῖα καὶ σὺ καὶ Ααρων ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ
Tollite singuli thuribula vestra , et ponite super ea incensum , offerentes Domino ducenta quinquaginta thuribula : Aaron quoque teneat thuribulum suum .
ወይንሣእ ፡ ፩፩ማዕጠንቶ ፡ ወደዩ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ወያብእ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ማዕጠንቶ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
Each man take his censer and put incense on it, and each man bring before Yahweh his censer, two hundred fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each with his censer.”
16:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּקְח֞וּ אִ֣ישׁ מַחְתָּת֗וֹ וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ אֵ֔שׁ וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם קְטֹ֑רֶת וַֽיַּעַמְד֗וּ פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּמֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאַהֲרֹֽן ׃
καὶ ἔλαβεν ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ’ αὐτὰ πῦρ καὶ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ’ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων
Quod cum fecissent , stantibus Moyses et Aaron ,
ወነሥአ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ ማዕጠንቶ ፡ ወወደዩ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ እሳተ ፡ ወወደዩ ፡ ውስቴቱ ፡ ዕጣነ ፡ ወቆመ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወአሮን ።
They each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Moses and Aaron.
16:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיַּקְהֵ֨ל עֲלֵיהֶ֥ם קֹ֙רַח֙ אֶת ־כׇּל ־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה אֶל ־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיֵּרָ֥א כְבוֹד ־יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־כׇּל ־הָעֵדָֽה ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπισυνέστησεν ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς Κορε τὴν πᾶσαν αὐτοῦ συναγωγὴν παρὰ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα κυρίου πάσῃ τῇ συναγωγῇ
et coacervassent adversum eos omnem multitudinem ad ostium tabernaculi , apparuit cunctis gloria Domini .
ወሮዶሙ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ምስለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ትዕይንቱ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወአስተርአየ ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
Korah assembled all the congregation opposite them to the door of the Tent of Meeting. Yahweh’s glory appeared to all the congregation.
16:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל ־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων
Locutusque Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron , ait :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወለአሮን ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
16:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ הִבָּ֣דְל֔וּ מִתּ֖וֹךְ הָעֵדָ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את וַאֲכַלֶּ֥ה אֹתָ֖ם כְּרָֽגַע ׃
ἀποσχίσθητε ἐκ μέσου τῆς συναγωγῆς ταύτης καὶ ἐξαναλώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς ἅπαξ
Separamini de medio congregationis hujus , ut eos repente disperdam .
ተገሐሡ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከሎሙ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ወአጠፍኦሙ ፡ በምዕር ።
“Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!”
16:22 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּפְּל֤וּ עַל ־פְּנֵיהֶם֙ וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ אֵ֕ל אֱלֹהֵ֥י הָרוּחֹ֖ת לְכׇל ־בָּשָׂ֑ר הָאִ֤ישׁ אֶחָד֙ יֶחֱטָ֔א וְעַ֥ל כׇּל ־הָעֵדָ֖ה תִּקְצֹֽף ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπαν θεὸς θεὸς τῶν πνευμάτων καὶ πάσης σαρκός εἰ ἄνθρωπος εἷς ἥμαρτεν ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν ὀργὴ κυρίου
Qui ceciderunt proni in faciem , atque dixerunt : Fortissime Deus spirituum universae carnis , num uno peccante , contra omnes ira tua desaeviet ?
ወወድቁ ፡ በገጾሙ ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ አምላኮ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ዘሥጋ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ፩ብእሲ ፡ አበሰ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኵሉኑ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ይከውን ፡ መዐተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
They fell on their faces, and said, “God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”
16:23 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל ־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Et ait Dominus ad Moysen :
ወነበቦ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፤
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
16:24 ⧉ ⤴︎ דַּבֵּ֥ר אֶל ־הָעֵדָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הֵֽעָלוּ֙ מִסָּבִ֔יב לְמִשְׁכַּן ־קֹ֖רַח דָּתָ֥ן וַאֲבִירָֽם ׃
λάλησον τῇ συναγωγῇ λέγων ἀναχωρήσατε κύκλῳ ἀπὸ τῆς συναγωγῆς Κορε
Praecipe universo populo ut separetur a tabernaculis Core et Dathan et Abiron .
ንግሮሙ ፡ ለትዕይንት ፡ ወይትገሐሡ ፡ እምነ ፡ አውደ ፡ ትዕይንተ ፡ ቆሬ ።
“Speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Get away from around the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram!’”
16:25 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיָּ֣קׇם מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ אֶל ־דָּתָ֣ן וַאֲבִירָ֑ם וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ אַחֲרָ֖יו זִקְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
καὶ ἀνέστη Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐπορεύθη πρὸς Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων καὶ συνεπορεύθησαν μετ’ αὐτοῦ πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ
Surrexitque Moyses , et abiit ad Dathan et Abiron : et sequentibus eum senioribus Israël ,
ወተንሥአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወሖረ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ዳታን ፡ ወአቤሮን ፡ ወሖሩ ፡ ምስሌሁ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አዕሩገ ፡ እስራኤል ።
Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
16:26 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר אֶל ־הָעֵדָ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗ר ס֣וּרוּ נָ֡א מֵעַל֩ אׇהֳלֵ֨י הָאֲנָשִׁ֤ים הָֽרְשָׁעִים֙ הָאֵ֔לֶּה וְאַֽל ־תִּגְּע֖וּ בְּכׇל ־אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָהֶ֑ם פֶּן ־תִּסָּפ֖וּ בְּכׇל ־חַטֹּאתָֽם ׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς τὴν συναγωγὴν λέγων ἀποσχίσθητε ἀπὸ τῶν σκηνῶν τῶν ἀνθρώπων τῶν σκληρῶν τούτων καὶ μὴ ἅπτεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων ὧν ἐστιν αὐτοῖς μὴ συναπόλησθε ἐν πάσῃ τῇ ἁμαρτίᾳ αὐτῶν
dixit ad turbam : Recedite a tabernaculis hominum impiorum , et nolite tangere quae ad eos pertinent , ne involvamini in peccatis eorum .
ወነገሮሙ ፡ ለትዕይንት ፡ ወይቤሎሙ ፡ ተገሐሡ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ተዓይኒሆሙ ፡ ለእሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ እኩያን ፡ ወኢትግስሱ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዘዚአሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢትትኀጐሉ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ኀጣውኢሆሙ ።
He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Depart, please, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins!”
16:27 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֵּעָל֗וּ מֵעַ֧ל מִשְׁכַּן ־קֹ֛רַח דָּתָ֥ן וַאֲבִירָ֖ם מִסָּבִ֑יב וְדָתָ֨ן וַאֲבִירָ֜ם יָצְא֣וּ נִצָּבִ֗ים פֶּ֚תַח אׇֽהֳלֵיהֶ֔ם וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֥ם וּבְנֵיהֶ֖ם וְטַפָּֽם ׃
καὶ ἀπέστησαν ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς Κορε κύκλῳ καὶ Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων ἐξῆλθον καὶ εἱστήκεισαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῶν σκηνῶν αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ ἀποσκευὴ αὐτῶν
Cumque recessissent a tentoriis eorum per circuitum , Dathan et Abiron egressi stabant in introitu papilionum suorum cum uxoribus et liberis , omnique frequentia .
ወተግሕሡ ፡ እምነ ፡ አውደ ፡ ትዕይንተ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወወፅኡ ፡ ዳታን ፡ ወአቢሮን ፡ ወቆሙ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኆኅተ ፡ ደብተራሆሙ ፡ ወአንስቲያሆሙኒ ፡ ወደቂቆሙኒ ፡ ወንዋዮሙኒ ።
So they went away from the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side. Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.
16:28 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֘אמֶר֮ מֹשֶׁה֒ בְּזֹאת֙ תֵּֽדְע֔וּן כִּֽי ־יְהֹוָ֣ה שְׁלָחַ֔נִי לַעֲשׂ֕וֹת אֵ֥ת כׇּל ־הַֽמַּעֲשִׂ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה כִּי ־לֹ֖א מִלִּבִּֽי ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς ἐν τούτῳ γνώσεσθε ὅτι κύριος ἀπέστειλέν με ποιῆσαι πάντα τὰ ἔργα ταῦτα ὅτι οὐκ ἀπ’ ἐμαυτοῦ
Et ait Moyses : In hoc scietis quod Dominus miserit me ut facerem universa quae cernitis , et non ex proprio ea corde protulerim :
ወይቤ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ቦዝንቱ ፡ ታአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈነወኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ እግበር ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ [ከመ ፡ አኮ ፡ እምልብየ ] ፤
Moses said, “Hereby you shall know that Yahweh has sent me to do all these works; for they are not from my own mind.
16:29 ⧉ ⤴︎ אִם ־כְּמ֤וֹת כׇּל ־הָֽאָדָם֙ יְמֻת֣וּן אֵ֔לֶּה וּפְקֻדַּת֙ כׇּל ־הָ֣אָדָ֔ם יִפָּקֵ֖ד עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם לֹ֥א יְהֹוָ֖ה שְׁלָחָֽנִי ׃
εἰ κατὰ θάνατον πάντων ἀνθρώπων ἀποθανοῦνται οὗτοι εἰ καὶ κατ’ ἐπίσκεψιν πάντων ἀνθρώπων ἐπισκοπὴ ἔσται αὐτῶν οὐχὶ κύριος ἀπέσταλκέν με
si consueta hominum morte interierint , et visitaverit eos plaga , qua et ceteri visitari solent , non misit me Dominus :
ከመ ፡ ኢይሙቱ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሞተ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወከመ ፡ ኢኮነ ፡ መቅሠፍቶሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ መቅሠፍተ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ለእሉ ፡ አኮኑ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ፈነወኒ ።
If these men die the common death of all men, or if they experience what all men experience, then Yahweh hasn’t sent me.
16:30 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאִם ־בְּרִיאָ֞ה יִבְרָ֣א יְהֹוָ֗ה וּפָצְתָ֨ה הָאֲדָמָ֤ה אֶת ־פִּ֙יהָ֙ וּבָלְעָ֤ה אֹתָם֙ וְאֶת ־כׇּל ־אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָהֶ֔ם וְיָרְד֥וּ חַיִּ֖ים שְׁאֹ֑לָה וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֧י נִֽאֲצ֛וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֶת ־יְהֹוָֽה ׃
ἀλλ’ ἢ ἐν φάσματι δείξει κύριος καὶ ἀνοίξασα ἡ γῆ τὸ στόμα αὐτῆς καταπίεται αὐτοὺς καὶ τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς σκηνὰς αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτοῖς καὶ καταβήσονται ζῶντες εἰς ᾅδου καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι παρώξυναν οἱ ἄνθρωποι οὗτοι τὸν κύριον
sin autem novam rem fecerit Dominus , ut aperiens terra os suum deglutiat eos et omnia quae ad illos pertinent , descenderintque viventes in infernum , scietis quod blasphemaverint Dominum .
እንበለ ፡ በተርኅዎተ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘያርኢ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወታበቁ ፡ ምድር ፡ አፉሃ ፡ ወትውኅጦሙ ፡ ወለአብያቲሆሙኒ ፡ ወለደባትሪሆሙኒ ፡ ወለኵሉ ፡ ዘዚአሆሙ ፡ ወይወርዱ ፡ ሕያዋኒሆሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሲኦል ፡ ወያአምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ያምዕዕዎ ፡ እሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
But if Yahweh makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall understand that these men have despised Yahweh.”
16:31 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַֽיְהִי֙ כְּכַלֹּת֔וֹ לְדַבֵּ֕ר אֵ֥ת כׇּל ־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַתִּבָּקַ֥ע הָאֲדָמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּחְתֵּיהֶֽם ׃
ὡς δὲ ἐπαύσατο λαλῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐρράγη ἡ γῆ ὑποκάτω αὐτῶν
Confestim igitur ut cessavit loqui , dirupta est terra sub pedibus eorum :
ወሶበ ፡ አኅለቀ ፡ ተናግሮ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘንተ ፡ ነገረ ፡ ተሠጠት ፡ ምድር ፡ በታሕተ ፡ እገሪሆሙ ።
As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split apart.
16:32 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתִּפְתַּ֤ח הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֶת ־פִּ֔יהָ וַתִּבְלַ֥ע אֹתָ֖ם וְאֶת ־בָּתֵּיהֶ֑ם וְאֵ֤ת כׇּל ־הָאָדָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְקֹ֔רַח וְאֵ֖ת כׇּל ־הָרְכֽוּשׁ ׃
καὶ ἠνοίχθη ἡ γῆ καὶ κατέπιεν αὐτοὺς καὶ τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ὄντας μετὰ Κορε καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν
et aperiens os suum , devoravit illos cum tabernaculis suis et universa substantia eorum ,
ወተርኅወት ፡ ምድር ፡ ወውሕጠቶሙ ፡ ወለአብያቲሆሙ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ እለ ፡ ሀለው ፡ ምስለ ፡ ቆሬ ፡ ወለአንስቲያሆሙኒ ።
The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all of Korah’s men, and all their goods.
16:33 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֵּ֨רְד֜וּ הֵ֣ם וְכׇל ־אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָהֶ֛ם חַיִּ֖ים שְׁאֹ֑לָה וַתְּכַ֤ס עֲלֵיהֶם֙ הָאָ֔רֶץ וַיֹּאבְד֖וּ מִתּ֥וֹךְ הַקָּהָֽל ׃
καὶ κατέβησαν αὐτοὶ καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτῶν ζῶντα εἰς ᾅδου καὶ ἐκάλυψεν αὐτοὺς ἡ γῆ καὶ ἀπώλοντο ἐκ μέσου τῆς συναγωγῆς
descenderuntque vivi in infernum operti humo , et perierunt de medio multitudinis .
ወወረዱ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘዚአሆሙ ፡ ሕያዋኒሆሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሲኦል ፡ ወከደነቶሙ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወተሐጕሉ ፡ እምነ ፡ ማእከለ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.
16:34 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְכׇל ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֛ר סְבִיבֹתֵיהֶ֖ם נָ֣סוּ לְקֹלָ֑ם כִּ֣י אָֽמְר֔וּ פֶּן ־תִּבְלָעֵ֖נוּ הָאָֽרֶץ ׃
καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ οἱ κύκλῳ αὐτῶν ἔφυγον ἀπὸ τῆς φωνῆς αὐτῶν ὅτι λέγοντες μήποτε καταπίῃ ἡμᾶς ἡ γῆ
At vero omnis Israël , qui stabat per gyrum , fugit ad clamorem pereuntium , dicens : Ne forte et nos terra deglutiat .
ወኵሉ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እለ ፡ አውዶሙ ፡ ጐዩ ፡ እምነ ፡ ቃሎሙ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይብሉ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢተኀጠነ ፡ ለነሂ ፡ ምድር ።
All Israel that were around them fled at their cry; for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!”
16:35 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֥שׁ יָצְאָ֖ה מֵאֵ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה וַתֹּ֗אכַל אֵ֣ת הַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים וּמָאתַ֙יִם֙ אִ֔ישׁ מַקְרִיבֵ֖י הַקְּטֹֽרֶת ׃ {ס}
καὶ πῦρ ἐξῆλθεν παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν τοὺς πεντήκοντα καὶ διακοσίους ἄνδρας τοὺς προσφέροντας τὸ θυμίαμα
Sed et ignis egressus a Domino interfecit ducentos quinquaginta viros , qui offerebant incensum .
ወወፅአት ፡ እሳት ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበልዐቶሙ ፡ ለእልክቱ ፡ ፪፻ወ፶ዕደው ፡ እለ ፡ አብኡ ፡ ዕጣነ ።
Fire came out from Yahweh, and devoured the two hundred fifty men who offered the incense.
16:36 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen , dicens :
— Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
16:37 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Praecipe Eleazaro filio Aaron sacerdoti ut tollat thuribula quae jacent in incendio , et ignem huc illucque dispergat : quoniam sanctificata sunt
— “Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter the fire away from the camp; for they are holy,
16:38 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — in mortibus peccatorum : producatque ea in laminas , et affigat altari , eo quod oblatum sit in eis incensum Domino , et sanctificata sint , ut cernant ea pro signo et monimento filii Israël .
— even the censers of those who sinned against their own lives. Let them be beaten into plates for a covering of the altar, for they offered them before Yahweh. Therefore they are holy. They shall be a sign to the children of Israel.”
16:39 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Tulit ergo Eleazar sacerdos thuribula aenea , in quibus obtulerant hi quos incendium devoravit , et produxit ea in laminas , affigens altari :
— Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers which those who were burned had offered; and they beat them out for a covering of the altar,
16:40 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — ut haberent postea filii Israël , quibus commonerentur ne quis accedat alienigena , et qui non est de semine Aaron ad offerendum incensum Domino , ne patiatur sicut passus est Core , et omnis congregatio ejus , loquente Domino ad Moysen .
— to be a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger who isn’t of the offspring of Aaron, would come near to burn incense before Yahweh, that he not be as Korah and as his company; as Yahweh spoke to him by Moses.
16:41 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Murmuravit autem omnis multitudo filiorum Israël sequenti die contra Moysen et Aaron , dicens : Vos interfecistis populum Domini .
— But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed Yahweh’s people!”
16:42 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Cumque oriretur seditio , et tumultus incresceret ,
— When the congregation was assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they looked toward the Tent of Meeting. Behold, the cloud covered it, and Yahweh’s glory appeared.
16:43 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Moyses et Aaron fugerunt ad tabernaculum foederis . Quod , postquam ingressi sunt , operuit nubes , et apparuit gloria Domini .
— Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of Meeting.
16:44 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen :
— Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
16:45 ⧉ ⤴︎ — — Recedite de medio hujus multitudinis , etiam nunc delebo eos . Cumque jacerent in terra ,

— Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, put fire from the altar in it, lay incense on it, carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from Yahweh! The plague has begun.”

— Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the middle of the assembly. The plague had already begun among the people. He put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.

— He stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
