11:1
וַיְהִ֤י הָעָם֙ כְּמִתְאֹ֣נְנִ֔ים רַ֖ע בְּאׇזְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ וַיִּ֣חַר אַפּ֔וֹ וַתִּבְעַר־בָּם֙ אֵ֣שׁ יְהֹוָ֔ה וַתֹּ֖אכַל בִּקְצֵ֥ה הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
καὶ ἦν ὁ λαὸς γογγύζων πονηρὰ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἤκουσεν κύριος καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργῇ καὶ ἐξεκαύθη ἐν αὐτοῖς πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν μέρος τι τῆς παρεμβολῆς
Interea ortum est murmur populi, quasi dolentium pro labore, contra Dominum. Quod cum audisset Dominus, iratus est. Et accensus in eos ignis Domini, devoravit extremam castrorum partem.
ወአንጐርጐረ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ በእኪት ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወሰምዐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወተምዐ ፡ መዐተ ፡ ወነደደ ፡ እሳት ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወበልዐት ፡ አሐደ ፡ ኅብረ ፡ እምነ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
The people were complaining in the ears of Yahweh. When Yahweh heard it, his anger burned; and Yahweh’s fire burned among them, and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
11:2
וַיִּצְעַ֥ק הָעָ֖ם אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֤ל מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה וַתִּשְׁקַ֖ע הָאֵֽשׁ׃
καὶ ἐκέκραξεν ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ ηὔξατο Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον καὶ ἐκόπασεν τὸ πῦρ
Cumque clamasset populus ad Moysen, oravit Moyses ad Dominum, et absorptus est ignis.
ወጸርሐ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወጸለየ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኀደገት ፡ እሳት ።
The people cried to Moses; and Moses prayed to Yahweh, and the fire abated.
11:3
וַיִּקְרָ֛א שֵֽׁם־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַה֖וּא תַּבְעֵרָ֑ה כִּֽי־בָעֲרָ֥ה בָ֖ם אֵ֥שׁ יְהֹוָֽה׃
καὶ ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου ἐμπυρισμός ὅτι ἐξεκαύθη ἐν αὐτοῖς πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου
Vocavitque nomen loci illius, Incensio : eo quod incensus fuisset contra eos ignis Domini.
ወተሰምየ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ መካን ፡ ውዕየት ፡ እስመ ፡ ነደደት ፡ እሳት ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
The name of that place was called Taberah, because Yahweh’s fire burned among them.
11:4
וְהָֽאסַפְסֻף֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ הִתְאַוּ֖וּ תַּאֲוָ֑ה וַיָּשֻׁ֣בוּ וַיִּבְכּ֗וּ גַּ֚ם בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ מִ֥י יַאֲכִלֵ֖נוּ בָּשָֽׂר׃
καὶ ὁ ἐπίμικτος ὁ ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐπεθύμησαν ἐπιθυμίαν καὶ καθίσαντες ἔκλαιον καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ εἶπαν τίς ἡμᾶς ψωμιεῖ κρέα
Vulgus quippe promiscuum, quod ascenderat cum eis, flagravit desiderio, sedens et flens, junctis sibi pariter filiis Israël, et ait : Quis dabit nobis ad vescendum carnes ?
ወእለ ፡ ተደመሩሂ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፡ ፈተው ፡ ፍትወተ ፡ ወነበሩ ፡ ወበከዩ ፡ ወደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤልኒ ፡ ወይቤሉ ፡ መኑ ፡ ያበልዐነ ፡ ሥጋ ።
The mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly; and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, “Who will give us meat to eat?
11:5
זָכַ֙רְנוּ֙ אֶת־הַדָּגָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נֹאכַ֥ל בְּמִצְרַ֖יִם חִנָּ֑ם אֵ֣ת הַקִּשֻּׁאִ֗ים וְאֵת֙ הָֽאֲבַטִּחִ֔ים וְאֶת־הֶחָצִ֥יר וְאֶת־הַבְּצָלִ֖ים וְאֶת־הַשּׁוּמִֽים׃
ἐμνήσθημεν τοὺς ἰχθύας οὓς ἠσθίομεν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ δωρεάν καὶ τοὺς σικύας καὶ τοὺς πέπονας καὶ τὰ πράσα καὶ τὰ κρόμμυα καὶ τὰ σκόρδα
recordamur piscium quos comedebamus in Aegypto gratis : in mentem nobis veniunt cucumeres, et pepones, porrique, et caepe, et allia.
ተዘከርነ ፡ ዝክተ ፡ ዓሣተ ፡ ዘንበልዕ ፡ በብሔረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ በከንቱ ፡ ወቍሳያቲሁ ፡ ወመልጰጶን ፡ ወስጕርደ ፡ ወበጸለ ፡ ወሶመተ ።
We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic;
11:6
וְעַתָּ֛ה נַפְשֵׁ֥נוּ יְבֵשָׁ֖ה אֵ֣ין כֹּ֑ל בִּלְתִּ֖י אֶל־הַמָּ֥ן עֵינֵֽינוּ׃
νυνὶ δὲ ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν κατάξηρος οὐδὲν πλὴν εἰς τὸ μαννα οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶν
Anima nostra arida est : nihil aliud respiciunt oculi nostri nisi man.
ወይአዜሰ ፡ የብሰት ፡ ነፍስነ ፡ ዘአልብነ ፡ ባዕደ ፡ ዘንሬኢ ፡ እንበለ ፡ መና ።
but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna to look at.”
11:7
וְהַמָּ֕ן כִּזְרַע־גַּ֖ד ה֑וּא וְעֵינ֖וֹ כְּעֵ֥ין הַבְּדֹֽלַח׃
τὸ δὲ μαννα ὡσεὶ σπέρμα κορίου ἐστίν καὶ τὸ εἶδος αὐτοῦ εἶδος κρυστάλλου
Erat autem man quasi semen coriandri, coloris bdellii.
ወመናሰ ፡ ከመ ፡ ዘርአ ፡ ተቅዳ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወርእየቱ ፡ ከመ ፡ ርእየተ ፡ በረድ ።
The manna was like coriander seed, and it looked like bdellium.
11:8
שָׁ֩טוּ֩ הָעָ֨ם וְלָֽקְט֜וּ וְטָחֲנ֣וּ בָרֵחַ֗יִם א֤וֹ דָכוּ֙ בַּמְּדֹכָ֔ה וּבִשְּׁלוּ֙ בַּפָּר֔וּר וְעָשׂ֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ עֻג֑וֹת וְהָיָ֣ה טַעְמ֔וֹ כְּטַ֖עַם לְשַׁ֥ד הַשָּֽׁמֶן׃
καὶ διεπορεύετο ὁ λαὸς καὶ συνέλεγον καὶ ἤληθον αὐτὸ ἐν τῷ μύλῳ καὶ ἔτριβον ἐν τῇ θυίᾳ καὶ ἥψουν αὐτὸ ἐν τῇ χύτρᾳ καὶ ἐποίουν αὐτὸ ἐγκρυφίας καὶ ἦν ἡ ἡδονὴ αὐτοῦ ὡσεὶ γεῦμα ἐγκρὶς ἐξ ἐλαίου
Circuibatque populus, et colligens illud, frangebat mola, sive terebat in mortario, coquens in olla, et faciens ex eo tortulas saporis quasi panis oleati.
ወየሐውሩ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወይኤልዱ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ወየሐርጽዎ ፡ በማሕረጽ ፡ ወይዴቅቅዎ ፡ በመድቀቅት ፡ ወያበስልዎ ፡ በመቅጹት ፡ ወይገብርዎ ፡ ዳፍንተኒ ፡ ወጣዕሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ጣዕመ ፡ መዓር ፡ ምስለ ፡ ቅብእ ።
The people went around, gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in mortars, and boiled it in pots, and made cakes of it. Its taste was like the taste of fresh oil.
11:9
וּבְרֶ֧דֶת הַטַּ֛ל עַל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה לָ֑יְלָה יֵרֵ֥ד הַמָּ֖ן עָלָֽיו׃
καὶ ὅταν κατέβη ἡ δρόσος ἐπὶ τὴν παρεμβολὴν νυκτός κατέβαινεν τὸ μαννα ἐπ’ αὐτῆς
Cumque descenderet nocte super castra ros, descendebat pariter et man.
ወሶበ ፡ ይወርድ ፡ ጠል ፡ ዲበ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ሌሊተ ፡ ይወርድ ፡ መናሂ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ።
When the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it.
11:10
וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־הָעָ֗ם בֹּכֶה֙ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֔יו אִ֖ישׁ לְפֶ֣תַח אׇהֳל֑וֹ וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֤ף יְהֹוָה֙ מְאֹ֔ד וּבְעֵינֵ֥י מֹשֶׁ֖ה רָֽע׃
καὶ ἤκουσεν Μωυσῆς κλαιόντων αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν ἕκαστον ἐπὶ τῆς θύρας αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργῇ κύριος σφόδρα καὶ ἔναντι Μωυσῆ ἦν πονηρόν
Audivit ergo Moyses flentem populum per familias, singulos per ostia tentorii sui. Iratusque est furor Domini valde : sed et Moysi intoleranda res visa est,
ወሰምዐ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ይበክዩ ፡ በበ ፡ ሕዘቢሆሙ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ አሐዱ ፡ በኀበ ፡ ኆኅቱ ፡ ወተምዕዐ ፡ መዐተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ወበቅድመ ፡ ሙሴኒ ፡ እኩየ ፡ ኮነ ።
Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and Yahweh’s anger burned greatly; and Moses was displeased.
11:11
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶל־יְהֹוָ֗ה לָמָ֤ה הֲרֵעֹ֙תָ֙ לְעַבְדֶּ֔ךָ וְלָ֛מָּה לֹא־מָצָ֥תִי חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ לָשׂ֗וּם אֶת־מַשָּׂ֛א כׇּל־הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה עָלָֽי׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον ἵνα τί ἐκάκωσας τὸν θεράποντά σου καὶ διὰ τί οὐχ εὕρηκα χάριν ἐναντίον σου ἐπιθεῖναι τὴν ὁρμὴν τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου ἐπ’ ἐμέ
et ait ad Dominum : Cur afflixisti servum tuum ? quare non invenio gratiam coram te ? et cur imposuisti pondus universi populi hujus super me ?
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ለምንት ፡ አሕሠምከ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ቍልዔከ ፡ ወለምንት ፡ ኢረከብኩ ፡ ሞገሰ ፡ በቅድሜከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታግብእ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ መንሴቶ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ።
Moses said to Yahweh, “Why have you treated your servant so badly? Why haven’t I found favor in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me?
11:12
הֶאָנֹכִ֣י הָרִ֗יתִי אֵ֚ת כׇּל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה אִם־אָנֹכִ֖י יְלִדְתִּ֑יהוּ כִּֽי־תֹאמַ֨ר אֵלַ֜י שָׂאֵ֣הוּ בְחֵיקֶ֗ךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשָּׂ֤א הָאֹמֵן֙ אֶת־הַיֹּנֵ֔ק עַ֚ל הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖עְתָּ לַאֲבֹתָֽיו׃
μὴ ἐγὼ ἐν γαστρὶ ἔλαβον πάντα τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ἢ ἐγὼ ἔτεκον αὐτούς ὅτι λέγεις μοι λαβὲ αὐτὸν εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου ὡσεὶ ἄραι τιθηνὸς τὸν θηλάζοντα εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσας τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν
Numquid ego concepi omnem hanc multitudinem, vel genui eam, ut dicas mihi : Porta eos in sinu tuo sicut portare solet nutrix infantulum, et defer in terram, pro qua jurasti patribus eorum ?
ቦኑ ፡ አነ ፡ ፀነስክዎሙ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወቦኑ ፡ አነ ፡ ወለድክዎሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትበለኒ ፡ ንሥኦሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ሕፅንከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይነሥእዎ ፡ ለዘ ፡ የሐፅኑ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ምድር ፡ እንተ ፡ መሐልከ ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ ።
Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them out, that you should tell me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers’?
11:13
מֵאַ֤יִן לִי֙ בָּשָׂ֔ר לָתֵ֖ת לְכׇל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה כִּֽי־יִבְכּ֤וּ עָלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר תְּנָה־לָּ֥נוּ בָשָׂ֖ר וְנֹאכֵֽלָה׃
πόθεν μοι κρέα δοῦναι παντὶ τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ ὅτι κλαίουσιν ἐπ’ ἐμοὶ λέγοντες δὸς ἡμῖν κρέα ἵνα φάγωμεν
Unde mihi carnes ut dem tantae multitudini ? flent contra me, dicentes : Da nobis carnes ut comedamus.
እምአይቴ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ዘእሁብ ፡ ለኵሉ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እስመ ፡ ናሁ ፡ ይበክዩ ፡ ላዕሌየ ፡ ወይብሉኒ ፡ ሀበነ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ከመ ፡ ንብላዕ ።
Where could I get meat to give all these people? For they weep before me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’
11:14
לֹֽא־אוּכַ֤ל אָנֹכִי֙ לְבַדִּ֔י לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־כׇּל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֥י כָבֵ֖ד מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
οὐ δυνήσομαι ἐγὼ μόνος φέρειν τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ὅτι βαρύτερόν μοί ἐστιν τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο
Non possum solus sustinere omnem hunc populum, quia gravis est mihi.
ወኢይክል ፡ አነ ፡ ባሕቲትየ ፡ ዐቂቦቶ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይከብደኒ ።
I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
11:15
וְאִם־כָּ֣כָה׀ אַתְּ־עֹ֣שֶׂה לִּ֗י הׇרְגֵ֤נִי נָא֙ הָרֹ֔ג אִם־מָצָ֥אתִי חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וְאַל־אֶרְאֶ֖ה בְּרָעָתִֽי׃ {פ}
εἰ δὲ οὕτως σὺ ποιεῖς μοι ἀπόκτεινόν με ἀναιρέσει εἰ εὕρηκα ἔλεος παρὰ σοί ἵνα μὴ ἴδω μου τὴν κάκωσιν
Sin aliter tibi videtur, obsecro ut interficias me, et inveniam gratiam in oculis tuis, ne tantis afficiar malis.
ወለእመሰ ፡ ከመዝ ፡ ትሬስየኒ ፡ ቀቲለ ፡ ቅትለኒ ፡ ለእመ ፡ ረብብኩ ፡ ምሕረተ ፡ ቅድሜከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢይርአያ ፡ ለእኪትየ ።
If you treat me this way, please kill me right now, if I have found favor in your sight; and don’t let me see my wretchedness.”
11:16
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶסְפָה־לִּ֞י שִׁבְעִ֣ים אִישׁ֮ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָדַ֔עְתָּ כִּי־הֵ֛ם זִקְנֵ֥י הָעָ֖ם וְשֹׁטְרָ֑יו וְלָקַחְתָּ֤ אֹתָם֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְהִֽתְיַצְּב֥וּ שָׁ֖ם עִמָּֽךְ׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν συνάγαγέ μοι ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων Ισραηλ οὓς αὐτὸς σὺ οἶδας ὅτι οὗτοί εἰσιν πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν καὶ ἄξεις αὐτοὺς πρὸς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ στήσονται ἐκεῖ μετὰ σοῦ
Et dixit Dominus ad Moysen : Congrega mihi septuaginta viros de senibus Israël, quos tu nosti quod senes populi sint ac magistri : et duces eos ad ostium tabernaculi foederis, faciesque ibi stare tecum,
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ አስተጋብእ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ፸ብእሴ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ አዕሩጊሆሙ ፡ ለደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እለ ፡ ታአምር ፡ ለሊከ ፡ ከመ ፡ እሙንቱ ፡ ሊቃናቱ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ወጸሐፍቶሙኒ ፡ ወታበውኦሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ዘመርጡል ፡ ወይቁሙ ፡ ህየ ፡ ምስሌከ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you.
11:17
וְיָרַדְתִּ֗י וְדִבַּרְתִּ֣י עִמְּךָ֮ שָׁם֒ וְאָצַלְתִּ֗י מִן־הָר֛וּחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָלֶ֖יךָ וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְנָשְׂא֤וּ אִתְּךָ֙ בְּמַשָּׂ֣א הָעָ֔ם וְלֹא־תִשָּׂ֥א אַתָּ֖ה לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃
καὶ καταβήσομαι καὶ λαλήσω ἐκεῖ μετὰ σοῦ καὶ ἀφελῶ ἀπὸ τοῦ πνεύματος τοῦ ἐπὶ σοὶ καὶ ἐπιθήσω ἐπ’ αὐτούς καὶ συναντιλήμψονται μετὰ σοῦ τὴν ὁρμὴν τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ οὐκ οἴσεις αὐτοὺς σὺ μόνος
ut descendam et loquar tibi : et auferam de spiritu tuo, tradamque eis, ut sustentent tecum onus populi, et non tu solus graveris.
ወእወርድ ፡ ወእትናገር ፡ በህየ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ወእነሥእ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ዘላዕሌከ ፡ ወኣነብር ፡ ዲቤሆሙ ፡ ወይጸውሩ ፡ ምስሌከ ፡ ክበዶሙ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወኢትሥራሕ ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ሎሙ ።
I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you don’t bear it yourself alone.
11:18
וְאֶל־הָעָ֨ם תֹּאמַ֜ר הִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּ לְמָחָר֮ וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֣ם בָּשָׂר֒ כִּ֡י בְּכִיתֶם֩ בְּאׇזְנֵ֨י יְהֹוָ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗ר מִ֤י יַאֲכִלֵ֙נוּ֙ בָּשָׂ֔ר כִּי־ט֥וֹב לָ֖נוּ בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְנָתַ֨ן יְהֹוָ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם בָּשָׂ֖ר וַאֲכַלְתֶּֽם׃
καὶ τῷ λαῷ ἐρεῖς ἁγνίσασθε εἰς αὔριον καὶ φάγεσθε κρέα ὅτι ἐκλαύσατε ἔναντι κυρίου λέγοντες τίς ἡμᾶς ψωμιεῖ κρέα ὅτι καλὸν ἡμῖν ἐστιν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ δώσει κύριος ὑμῖν κρέα φαγεῖν καὶ φάγεσθε κρέα
Populo quoque dices : Sanctificamini (cras comedetis carnes : ego enim audivi vos dicere : Quis dabit nobis escas carnium ? bene nobis erat in Aegypto), ut det vobis Dominus carnes, et comedatis :
ወለሕዝብኒ ፡ ትብሎሙ ፡ ያንጽሑ ፡ ርእሶሙ ፡ ለጌሠም ፡ ወትበልዑ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ እስመ ፡ በከይክሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትብሉ ፡ መኑ ፡ ያበልዐነ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ እስመ ፡ ይኄይሰነ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወይሁበክሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ትብልዑ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ወተበልዑ ፡ ሥጋ ።
“Say to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, and you will eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of Yahweh, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore Yahweh will give you meat, and you will eat.
11:19
לֹ֣א י֥וֹם אֶחָ֛ד תֹּאכְל֖וּן וְלֹ֣א יוֹמָ֑יִם וְלֹ֣א׀ חֲמִשָּׁ֣ה יָמִ֗ים וְלֹא֙ עֲשָׂרָ֣ה יָמִ֔ים וְלֹ֖א עֶשְׂרִ֥ים יֽוֹם׃
οὐχ ἡμέραν μίαν φάγεσθε οὐδὲ δύο οὐδὲ πέντε ἡμέρας οὐδὲ δέκα ἡμέρας οὐδὲ εἴκοσι ἡμέρας
non uno die, nec duobus, vel quinque aut decem, nec viginti quidem,
አኮ ፡ አሐተ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ዘትበልዑ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ሰኑየ ፡ ወአ ኮ ፡ ኀሙሰ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ዐሡረ ፡ ወአኮ ፡ ዕሥራ ፡ መዋዕለ ፤
You will not eat just one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days,
11:20
עַ֣ד׀ חֹ֣דֶשׁ יָמִ֗ים עַ֤ד אֲשֶׁר־יֵצֵא֙ מֵֽאַפְּכֶ֔ם וְהָיָ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לְזָרָ֑א יַ֗עַן כִּֽי־מְאַסְתֶּ֤ם אֶת־יְהֹוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֔ם וַתִּבְכּ֤וּ לְפָנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה יָצָ֥אנוּ מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃
ἕως μηνὸς ἡμερῶν φάγεσθε ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθῃ ἐκ τῶν μυκτήρων ὑμῶν καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς χολέραν ὅτι ἠπειθήσατε κυρίῳ ὅς ἐστιν ἐν ὑμῖν καὶ ἐκλαύσατε ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ λέγοντες ἵνα τί ἡμῖν ἐξελθεῖν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου
sed usque ad mensem dierum, donec exeat per nares vestras, et vertatur in nauseam, eo quod repuleritis Dominum, qui in medio vestri est, et fleveritis coram eo, dicentes : Quare egressi sumus ex Aegypto ?
አላ ፡ እስከ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ወርኅ ፡ ትበልዕዎ ፡ እስከ ፡ ይወፅእ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ አእናፋቲክሙ ፡ ወይከውነክሙ ፡ ሕምዘ ፡ እስመ ፡ ክህድክምዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ውስቴትክሙ ፡ ወበከይክሙ ፡ በቅድሜሁ ፡ እንዘ ፡ ትብሉ ፡ ለምንት ፡ ለነ ፡ አውፃእከነ ፡ እምነ ፡ ብሔረ ፡ ግብጽ ።
but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have rejected Yahweh who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, “Why did we come out of Egypt?”’”
11:21
וַיֹּ֘אמֶר֮ מֹשֶׁה֒ שֵׁשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת אֶ֙לֶף֙ רַגְלִ֔י הָעָ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י בְּקִרְבּ֑וֹ וְאַתָּ֣ה אָמַ֗רְתָּ בָּשָׂר֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֔ם וְאָכְל֖וּ חֹ֥דֶשׁ יָמִֽים׃
καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς ἑξακόσιαι χιλιάδες πεζῶν ὁ λαός ἐν οἷς εἰμι ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ σὺ εἶπας κρέα δώσω αὐτοῖς φαγεῖν καὶ φάγονται μῆνα ἡμερῶν
Et ait Moyses : Sexcenta millia peditum hujus populi sunt : et tu dicis : Dabo eis esum carnium mense integro ?
ወይቤ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ስሳ ፡ እልፍ ፡ አጋር ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እለ ፡ ውስቴቶሙ ፡ ሀለውኩ ፡ [ወአንተ ፡ ትቤለኒ ፡ እሁቦሙ ፡ ሥጋ ፡] ወይበልዑ ፡ መዋዕለ ፡ ወርኅ ።
Moses said, “The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month.’
11:22
הֲצֹ֧אן וּבָקָ֛ר יִשָּׁחֵ֥ט לָהֶ֖ם וּמָצָ֣א לָהֶ֑ם אִ֣ם אֶֽת־כׇּל־דְּגֵ֥י הַיָּ֛ם יֵאָסֵ֥ף לָהֶ֖ם וּמָצָ֥א לָהֶֽם׃ {פ}
μὴ πρόβατα καὶ βόες σφαγήσονται αὐτοῖς καὶ ἀρκέσει αὐτοῖς ἢ πᾶν τὸ ὄψος τῆς θαλάσσης συναχθήσεται αὐτοῖς καὶ ἀρκέσει αὐτοῖς
numquid ovium et boum multitudo caedetur, ut possit sufficere ad cibum ? vel omnes pisces maris in unum congregabuntur, ut eos satient ?
ቦኑ ፡ አባግዕ ፡ ወአልህምት ፡ ይጠባኅ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ አው ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዓሣተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ይትጋባእ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይእከሎሙ ።
Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?”
11:23
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה הֲיַ֥ד יְהֹוָ֖ה תִּקְצָ֑ר עַתָּ֥ה תִרְאֶ֛ה הֲיִקְרְךָ֥ דְבָרִ֖י אִם־לֹֽא׃
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν μὴ χεὶρ κυρίου οὐκ ἐξαρκέσει ἤδη γνώσει εἰ ἐπικαταλήμψεταί σε ὁ λόγος μου ἢ οὔ
Cui respondit Dominus : Numquid manus Domini invalida est ? jam nunc videbis utrum meus sermo opere compleatur.
ወይቤሎ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ቦኑ ፡ ኢትክል ፡ እዴሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ናሁ ፡ ትሬኢ ፡ እመ ፡ ትረክቦ ፡ ለቃልየ ፡ ወእመ ፡ አልቦ ።
Yahweh said to Moses, “Has Yahweh’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not.”
11:24
וַיֵּצֵ֣א מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיְדַבֵּר֙ אֶל־הָעָ֔ם אֵ֖ת דִּבְרֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וַיֶּאֱסֹ֞ף שִׁבְעִ֥ים אִישׁ֙ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י הָעָ֔ם וַֽיַּעֲמֵ֥ד אֹתָ֖ם סְבִיבֹ֥ת הָאֹֽהֶל׃
καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τὰ ῥήματα κυρίου καὶ συνήγαγεν ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ ἔστησεν αὐτοὺς κύκλῳ τῆς σκηνῆς
Venit igitur Moyses, et narravit populo verba Domini, congregans septuaginta viros de senibus Israël, quos stare fecit circa tabernaculum.
ወወፅአ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ ወነገሮሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ቃለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወአስተጋብአ ፡ ፸ብእሴ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ አዕሩጊሆሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ወአቀሞሙ ፡ አውደ ፡ ደብተራ ።
Moses went out, and told the people Yahweh’s words; and he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them around the Tent.
11:25
וַיֵּ֨רֶד יְהֹוָ֥ה׀בֶּעָנָן֮ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלָיו֒ וַיָּ֗אצֶל מִן־הָר֙וּחַ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלָ֔יו וַיִּתֵּ֕ן עַל־שִׁבְעִ֥ים אִ֖ישׁ הַזְּקֵנִ֑ים וַיְהִ֗י כְּנ֤וֹחַ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ הָר֔וּחַ וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ וְלֹ֥א יָסָֽפוּ׃
καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ παρείλατο ἀπὸ τοῦ πνεύματος τοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτῷ καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους ὡς δὲ ἐπανεπαύσατο τὸ πνεῦμα ἐπ’ αὐτούς καὶ ἐπροφήτευσαν καὶ οὐκέτι προσέθεντο
Descenditque Dominus per nubem, et locutus est ad eum, auferens de spiritu qui erat in Moyse, et dans septuaginta viris. Cumque requievisset in eis spiritus, prophetaverunt, nec ultra cessaverunt.
ወወረደ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በደመና ፡ ወተናገሮ ፡ ወነሥአ ፡ እምውስተ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ዘላዕሌሁ ፡ ወወደየ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ፸ብእሲ ፡ ሊቃናት ፡ ወእምዘ ፡ አዕረፈ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ተነበዩ ፡ ወኢተወሰኩ ፡ እንከ ።
Yahweh came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was on him, and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.
11:26
וַיִּשָּׁאֲר֣וּ שְׁנֵֽי־אֲנָשִׁ֣ים׀בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֡ה שֵׁ֣ם הָאֶחָ֣ד׀אֶלְדָּ֡ד וְשֵׁם֩ הַשֵּׁנִ֨י מֵידָ֜ד וַתָּ֧נַח עֲלֵהֶ֣ם הָר֗וּחַ וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ בַּכְּתֻבִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א יָצְא֖וּ הָאֹ֑הֱלָה וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
καὶ κατελείφθησαν δύο ἄνδρες ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ ὄνομα τῷ ἑνὶ Ελδαδ καὶ ὄνομα τῷ δευτέρῳ Μωδαδ καὶ ἐπανεπαύσατο ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς τὸ πνεῦμα καὶ οὗτοι ἦσαν τῶν καταγεγραμμένων καὶ οὐκ ἦλθον πρὸς τὴν σκηνήν καὶ ἐπροφήτευσαν ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ
Remanserat autem in castris duo viri, quorum unus vocabatur Eldad, et alter Medad, super quos requievit spiritus. Nam et ipsi descripti fuerant, et non exierant ad tabernaculum.
ወተረፉ ፡ ክልኤቱ ፡ ዕደው ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለአሐዱ ፡ ኤልዳድ ፡ ወሞዳድ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለካልኡ ፡ ወአዕረፈ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙኒ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ ወእሙንቱኒ ፡ ተጽሕፉ ፡ ምስሌሆሙ ፡ ወኢመጽኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብተራ ፡ ወተነበዩ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad; and the Spirit rested on them. They were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp.
11:27
וַיָּ֣רׇץ הַנַּ֔עַר וַיַּגֵּ֥ד לְמֹשֶׁ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֶלְדָּ֣ד וּמֵידָ֔ד מִֽתְנַבְּאִ֖ים בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
καὶ προσδραμὼν ὁ νεανίσκος ἀπήγγειλεν Μωυσῇ καὶ εἶπεν λέγων Ελδαδ καὶ Μωδαδ προφητεύουσιν ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ
Cumque prophetarent in castris, cucurrit puer, et nuntiavit Moysi, dicens : Eldad et Medad prophetant in castris.
ወሮጸ ፡ ወሬዛ ፡ ወዜነዎ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ወይቤሎ ፡ ኤልዳድ ፡ ወሞዳድ ፡ ተነበዩ ፡ በውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ።
A young man ran, and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!”
11:28
וַיַּ֜עַן יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בִּן־נ֗וּן מְשָׁרֵ֥ת מֹשֶׁ֛ה מִבְּחֻרָ֖יו וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֲדֹנִ֥י מֹשֶׁ֖ה כְּלָאֵֽם׃
καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη ὁ παρεστηκὼς Μωυσῇ ὁ ἐκελεκτὸς εἶπεν κύριε Μωυσῆ κώλυσον αὐτούς
Statim Josue filius Nun, minister Moysi, et electus e pluribus, ait : Domine mi Moyses, prohibe eos.
ወይቤሎ ፡ ኢየሱስ ፡ ዘነዌ ፡ ዘይቀውም ፡ ቅድሜሁ ፡ ለሙሴ ፡ ዘውእቱ ፡ ኅሩዩ ፡ ይቤሎ ፡ እግዚእየ ፡ [ሙሴ ፡] ክልኦሙ ።
Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his chosen men, answered, “My lord Moses, forbid them!”
11:29
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה הַֽמְקַנֵּ֥א אַתָּ֖ה לִ֑י וּמִ֨י יִתֵּ֜ן כׇּל־עַ֤ם יְהֹוָה֙ נְבִיאִ֔ים כִּי־יִתֵּ֧ן יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶת־רוּח֖וֹ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Μωυσῆς μὴ ζηλοῖς σύ μοι καὶ τίς δῴη πάντα τὸν λαὸν κυρίου προφήτας ὅταν δῷ κύριος τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτούς
At ille : Quid, inquit aemularis pro me ? quis tribuat ut omnis populus prophetet, et det eis Dominus spiritum suum ?
ወይቤሎ ፡ ሙሴ ፡ አንተኑ ፡ ትቀንእ ፡ ሊተ ፡ ወመኑ ፡ እምወሀበኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይትነበይ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሕዝቡ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ሶበ ፡ ወሀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ መንፈሶ ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ ።
Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all Yahweh’s people were prophets, that Yahweh would put his Spirit on them!”
11:30
וַיֵּאָסֵ֥ף מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה ה֖וּא וְזִקְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
καὶ ἀπῆλθεν Μωυσῆς εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ
Reversusque est Moyses, et majores natu Israël in castra.
ወገብአ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወአዕሩጊሆሙ ፡ ለእስራኤል ።
Moses went into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
11:31
וְר֜וּחַ נָסַ֣ע׀ מֵאֵ֣ת יְהֹוָ֗ה וַיָּ֣גׇז שַׂלְוִים֮ מִן־הַיָּם֒ וַיִּטֹּ֨שׁ עַל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֜ה כְּדֶ֧רֶךְ י֣וֹם כֹּ֗ה וּכְדֶ֤רֶךְ יוֹם֙ כֹּ֔ה סְבִיב֖וֹת הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וּכְאַמָּתַ֖יִם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃
καὶ πνεῦμα ἐξῆλθεν παρὰ κυρίου καὶ ἐξεπέρασεν ὀρτυγομήτραν ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐπέβαλεν ἐπὶ τὴν παρεμβολὴν ὁδὸν ἡμέρας ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ὁδὸν ἡμέρας ἐντεῦθεν κύκλῳ τῆς παρεμβολῆς ὡσεὶ δίπηχυ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς
Ventus autem egrediens a Domino, arreptans trans mare coturnices detulit, et demisit in castra itinere quantum uno die confici potest, ex omni parte castrorum per circuitum, volabantque in aëre duobus cubitis altitudine super terram.
ወወፅአ ፡ መንፈስ ፡ እምኀበ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወዐደወ ፡ ፍርፍርት ፡ እምነ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወወረዶ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ እስከ ፡ ምሕዋረ ፡ ዕለት ፡ እምነ ፡ አውደ ፡ ትዕይንት ፡ እምለፌ ፡ ወእምለፌ ፡ ወተወጥሐ ፡ ካዕበ ፡ እመት ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ ምድር ።
A wind from Yahweh went out and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, about a day’s journey on this side, and a day’s journey on the other side, around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the earth.
11:32
וַיָּ֣קׇם הָעָ֡ם כׇּל־הַיּוֹם֩ הַה֨וּא וְכׇל־הַלַּ֜יְלָה וְכֹ֣ל׀ י֣וֹם הַֽמׇּחֳרָ֗ת וַיַּֽאַסְפוּ֙ אֶת־הַשְּׂלָ֔ו הַמַּמְעִ֕יט אָסַ֖ף עֲשָׂרָ֣ה חֳמָרִ֑ים וַיִּשְׁטְח֤וּ לָהֶם֙ שָׁט֔וֹחַ סְבִיב֖וֹת הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
καὶ ἀναστὰς ὁ λαὸς ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν καὶ ὅλην τὴν νύκτα καὶ ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν τὴν ἐπαύριον καὶ συνήγαγον τὴν ὀρτυγομήτραν ὁ τὸ ὀλίγον συνήγαγεν δέκα κόρους καὶ ἔψυξαν ἑαυτοῖς ψυγμοὺς κύκλῳ τῆς παρεμβολῆς
Surgens ergo populus toto die illo, et nocte, ac die altero, congregavit coturnicum : qui parum, decem coros : et siccaverunt eas per gyrum castrorum.
ወተንሥአ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ሌሊተ ፡ ወ ኵሎ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ እንተ ፡ በሳኒታ ፡ ወአለዱ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ፍርፍርተ ፡ ወዘአውሐዱ ፡ አልዶ ፡ ዐሠርተ ፡ በቆ[ሮ]ስ ፡ ወሰጥሑ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ወአይበሱ ፡ ውስተ ፡ አውደ ፡ ተዓይኒሆሙ ።
The people rose up all that day, and all of that night, and all the next day, and gathered the quails. He who gathered least gathered ten homers; and they spread them all out for themselves around the camp.
11:33
הַבָּשָׂ֗ר עוֹדֶ֙נּוּ֙ בֵּ֣ין שִׁנֵּיהֶ֔ם טֶ֖רֶם יִכָּרֵ֑ת וְאַ֤ף יְהֹוָה֙ חָרָ֣ה בָעָ֔ם וַיַּ֤ךְ יְהֹוָה֙ בָּעָ֔ם מַכָּ֖ה רַבָּ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃
τὰ κρέα ἔτι ἦν ἐν τοῖς ὀδοῦσιν αὐτῶν πρὶν ἢ ἐκλείπειν καὶ κύριος ἐθυμώθη εἰς τὸν λαόν καὶ ἐπάταξεν κύριος τὸν λαὸν πληγὴν μεγάλην σφόδρα
Adhuc carnes erant in dentibus eorum, nec defecerat hujuscemodi cibus : et ecce furor Domini concitatus in populum, percussit eum plaga magna nimis.
ወእንዘ ፡ ሀለወ ፡ ሥጋ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፅረሲሆሙ ፡ እንበለ ፡ ያኅልቅዎ ፡ ተምዕዐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወቀተሎሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ በዐቢይ ፡ መቅሠፍት ፡ ጥቀ ።
While the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, Yahweh’s anger burned against the people, and Yahweh struck the people with a very great plague.
11:34
וַיִּקְרָ֛א אֶת־שֵֽׁם־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַה֖וּא קִבְר֣וֹת הַֽתַּאֲוָ֑ה כִּי־שָׁם֙ קָֽבְר֔וּ אֶת־הָעָ֖ם הַמִּתְאַוִּֽים׃
καὶ ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου μνήματα τῆς ἐπιθυμίας ὅτι ἐκεῖ ἔθαψαν τὸν λαὸν τὸν ἐπιθυμητήν
Vocatusque est ille locus, Sepulchra concupiscentiae : ibi enim sepelierunt populum qui desideraverat. Egressi autem de Sepulchris concupiscentiae, venerunt in Haseroth, et manserunt ibi.
ወተሰምየ ፡ ስሙ ፡ ለውእቱ ፡ መካን ፡ ተዝካረ ፡ ፍትወት ፡ እስመ ፡ ቀበርዎሙ ፡ ለሕዝብ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ፈተው ።
The name of that place was called Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people who lusted.
11:35
מִקִּבְר֧וֹת הַֽתַּאֲוָ֛ה נָסְע֥וּ הָעָ֖ם חֲצֵר֑וֹת וַיִּהְי֖וּ בַּחֲצֵרֽוֹת׃ {פ}
ἀπὸ μνημάτων ἐπιθυμίας ἐξῆρεν ὁ λαὸς εἰς Ασηρωθ καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ λαὸς ἐν Ασηρωθ
—
ወግዕዘ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ እምነ ፡ ተዝካረ ፡ ፍትወት ፡ ውስተ ፡ አሴሮት ፡ [ወነበሩ ፡ በአሴሮት ፡]፡
From Kibroth Hattaavah the people traveled to Hazeroth; and they stayed at Hazeroth.
