52:1
בֶּן־עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְאַחַ֤ת שָׁנָה֙ צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ בְמׇלְכ֔וֹ וְאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ (חמיטל) [חֲמוּטַ֥ל] בַּֽת־יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ מִלִּבְנָֽה׃
ὄντος εἰκοστοῦ καὶ ἑνὸς ἔτους Σεδεκιου ἐν τῷ βασιλεύειν αὐτόν καὶ ἕνδεκα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τῇ μητρὶ αὐτοῦ Αμιτααλ θυγάτηρ Ιερεμιου ἐκ Λοβενα
Filius viginti et unius anni erat Sedecias cum regnare coepisset, et undecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem. Et nomen matris ejus Amital filia Jeremiae de Lobna.
ወልደ፡ ፳ወ፩ዓመት፡ ሴዴቅያስ፡ አመ፡ ነግሠ፡ ወ፲ወ፩ዓመተ፡ ነግሠ፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወስማ፡ ለእሙ፡ አምጣሄል፡ ወለተ፡ ኤርምያስ፡ እምሎምና።
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign. He reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
52:2
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֖ה יְהוֹיָקִֽם׃
—
Et fecit malum in oculis Domini, juxta omnia quae fecerat Joakim,
ወገብረ፡ እኩየ፡ በቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ከመ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘገብረ፡ ኢዮአቄም።
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
52:3
כִּ֣י׀ עַל־אַ֣ף יְהֹוָ֗ה הָֽיְתָה֙ בִּירוּשָׁלַ֣͏ִם וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה עַד־הִשְׁלִיכ֥וֹ אוֹתָ֖ם מֵעַ֣ל פָּנָ֑יו וַיִּמְרֹ֥ד צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּמֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃
—
quoniam furor Domini erat in Jerusalem et in Juda, usquequo projiceret eos a facie sua : et recessit Sedecias a rege Babylonis.
እስመ፡ መዐተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ኮነት፡ በኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወበይሁዳ፡ እስከ፡ ገደፎሙ፡ እምነ፡ ገጹ፡ ወዐለዎ፡ ሴዴቅያስ፡ ለንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን።
For through Yahweh’s anger this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
52:4
וַיְהִי֩ בַשָּׁנָ֨ה הַתְּשִׁעִ֜ית לְמׇלְכ֗וֹ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָעֲשִׂירִי֮ בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר לַחֹ֒דֶשׁ֒ בָּ֠א נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֨ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֜ל ה֤וּא וְכׇל־חֵילוֹ֙ עַל־יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ עָלֶ֑יהָ וַיִּבְנ֥וּ עָלֶ֛יהָ דָּיֵ֖ק סָבִֽיב׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ ἐνάτῳ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ ἐν μηνὶ τῷ δεκάτῳ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς ἦλθεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος καὶ πᾶσα ἡ δύναμις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ περιεχαράκωσαν αὐτὴν καὶ περιῳκοδόμησαν αὐτὴν τετραπέδοις λίθοις κύκλῳ
Factum est autem in anno nono regni ejus, in mense decimo, decima mensis, venit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, ipse et omnis exercitus ejus, adversus Jerusalem : et obsederunt eam, et aedificaverunt contra eam munitiones in circuitu.
ወኮነ፡ በታስዕ፡ ዓመት፡ ዘመንግሥቱ፡ በዐሥር፡ ወርኅ፡ ወበዐሡረ፡ ሠርቅ፡ በጽሐ፡ ናቡከደነፆር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ውእቱ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ኃይሉ፡ ላዕለ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወተዐየነ፡ ላዕሌሃ፡ ወሐፀራ፡ ወነደቀ፡ ትርብዕተ፡ በዐውዳ።
In the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it round about.
52:5
וַתָּבֹ֥א הָעִ֖יר בַּמָּצ֑וֹר עַ֚ד עַשְׁתֵּ֣י עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה שָׁנָ֔ה לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ צִדְקִיָּֽהוּ׃
καὶ ἦλθεν ἡ πόλις εἰς συνοχὴν ἕως ἑνδεκάτου ἔτους τῷ βασιλεῖ Σεδεκια
Et fuit civitas obsessa usque ad undecimum annum regis Sedeciae.
ወተጸወነት፡ ሀገር፡ እስከ፡ ፲ወ፩ዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለሴዴቅያስ።
So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
52:6
בַּחֹ֤דֶשׁ הָרְבִיעִי֙ בְּתִשְׁעָ֣ה לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ וַיֶּחֱזַ֥ק הָרָעָ֖ב בָּעִ֑יר וְלֹא־הָיָ֥ה לֶ֖חֶם לְעַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃
ἐν τῇ ἐνάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς καὶ ἐστερεώθη ὁ λιμὸς ἐν τῇ πόλει καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν ἄρτοι τῷ λαῷ τῆς γῆς
Mense autem quarto, nona mensis, obtinuit fames civitatem, et non erant alimenta populo terrae.
በራብዕ፡ ወርኅ፡ አመ፡ ተሱዑ፡ ለሠርቅ፡ ጸንዐ፡ ረኃብ፡ በሀገር፡ ወአልቦ፡ እክል፡ ለሕዝበ፡ ምድር።
In the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
52:7
וַתִּבָּקַ֣ע הָעִ֗יר וְכׇל־אַנְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּלְחָמָ֡ה יִבְרְחוּ֩ וַיֵּצְא֨וּ מֵהָעִ֜יר לַ֗יְלָה דֶּ֜רֶךְ שַׁ֤עַר בֵּין־הַחֹמֹתַ֙יִם֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־גַּ֣ן הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְכַשְׂדִּ֥ים עַל־הָעִ֖יר סָבִ֑יב וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ דֶּ֥רֶךְ הָעֲרָבָֽה׃
καὶ διεκόπη ἡ πόλις καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ πολεμισταὶ ἐξῆλθον νυκτὸς κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς πύλης ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ τείχους καὶ τοῦ προτειχίσματος ὃ ἦν κατὰ τὸν κῆπον τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ οἱ Χαλδαῖοι ἐπὶ τῆς πόλεως κύκλῳ καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὁδὸν τὴν εἰς Αραβα
Et dirupta est civitas, et omnes viri bellatores ejus fugerunt, exieruntque de civitate nocte, per viam portae quae est inter duos muros, et ducit ad hortum regis, Chaldaeis obsidentibus urbem in gyro, et abierunt per viam quae ducit in eremum.
ወተገፍትዐት፡ ሀገር፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሰብእ፡ መስተቃትላን፡ ጐዩ፡ ወወፅኡ፡ እምሀገር፡ በሌሊት፡ ፍኖተ፡ አንቀጽ፡ ማእከለ፡ ጥቅም፡ ዘማእከለ፡ አረፍተ፡ ገነት፡ ዘንጉሥ፡ ወከለዳውያን፡ ዐገቱ፡ ሀገረ፡ ወሖሩ፡ ፍኖተ፡ ዐረባ።
Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled, and went out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king’s garden. Now the Chaldeans were against the city all around. The men of war went toward the Arabah,
52:8
וַיִּרְדְּפ֤וּ חֵיל־כַּשְׂדִּים֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיַּשִּׂ֥יגוּ אֶת־צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ בְּעַֽרְבֹ֣ת יְרֵח֑וֹ וְכׇ֨ל־חֵיל֔וֹ נָפֹ֖צוּ מֵעָלָֽיו׃
καὶ κατεδίωξεν ἡ δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων ὀπίσω τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ κατέλαβον αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ πέραν Ιεριχω καὶ πάντες οἱ παῖδες αὐτοῦ διεσπάρησαν ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ
Persecutus est autem Chadaeorum exercitus regem, et apprehenderunt Sedeciam in deserto quod est juxta Jericho : et omnis comitatus ejus diffugit ab eo.
ወዴገንዎሙ፡ ኃይለ፡ ከለዳውያን፡ ድኅሬሁ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወረከብዎ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ሴዴቅያስ፡ በዐራቦት፡ ዘኢያሪኮ፡ ወኵሎሙ፡ ኃይሉ፡ ተዘርዉ፡ እምኔሁ።
but the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
52:9
וַֽיִּתְפְּשׂוּ֙ אֶת־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיַּעֲל֨וּ אֹת֜וֹ אֶל־מֶ֧לֶךְ בָּבֶ֛ל רִבְלָ֖תָה בְּאֶ֣רֶץ חֲמָ֑ת וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ מִשְׁפָּטִֽים׃
καὶ συνέλαβον τὸν βασιλέα καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Βαβυλῶνος εἰς Δεβλαθα καὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ μετὰ κρίσεως
Cumque comprehendissent regem, adduxerunt eum ad regem Babylonis in Reblatha, quae est in terra Emath, et locutus est ad eum judicia.
ወአኀዝዎ፡ ለንጉሥ፡ ወወሰድዎ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ውስተ፡ ዴብላታ፡ በምድረ፡ ኤማት፡ ወተናገሮ፡ ምስለ፡ ኵነኔ።
Then they took the king, and carried him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; and he pronounced judgment on him.
52:10
וַיִּשְׁחַ֧ט מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ לְעֵינָ֑יו וְגַ֛ם אֶת־כׇּל־שָׂרֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה שָׁחַ֥ט בְּרִבְלָֽתָה׃
καὶ ἔσφαξεν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος τοὺς υἱοὺς Σεδεκιου κατ’ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας Ιουδα ἔσφαξεν ἐν Δεβλαθα
Et jugulavit rex Babylonis filios Sedeciae in oculis ejus, sed et omnes principes Juda occidit in Reblatha.
ወረገዞሙ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ለደቂቁ፡ በቅድመ፡ አዕይንቲሁ፡ ወለኵሙ፡ መላእክተ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ቀተሎሙ፡ በዴብላታ።
The king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. He also killed all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
52:11
וְאֶת־עֵינֵ֥י צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ עִוֵּ֑ר וַיַּאַסְרֵ֣הוּ בַֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֗יִם וַיְבִאֵ֤הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל֙ בָּבֶ֔לָה וַיִּתְּנֵ֥הוּ (בבית) [בֵֽית־]הַפְּקֻדֹּ֖ת עַד־י֥וֹם מוֹתֽוֹ׃
καὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς Σεδεκιου ἐξετύφλωσεν καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν ἐν πέδαις καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτὸν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος εἰς Βαβυλῶνα καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸν εἰς οἰκίαν μύλωνος ἕως ἡμέρας ἧς ἀπέθανεν
Et oculos Sedeciae eruit, et vinxit eum compedibus, et adduxit eum rex Babylonis in Babylonem, et posuit eum in domo carceris usque ad diem mortis ejus.
ወአውፅኦ፡ አዕይንቲሁ፡ ለሴዴቅያስ፡ ወአሰሮ፡ በሞቅሕ።
He put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death.
52:12
וּבַחֹ֤דֶשׁ הַֽחֲמִישִׁי֙ בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ הִ֗יא שְׁנַת֙ תְּשַֽׁע־עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה שָׁנָ֔ה לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֑ל בָּ֗א נְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָן֙ רַב־טַבָּחִ֔ים עָמַ֛ד לִפְנֵ֥י מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
καὶ ἐν μηνὶ πέμπτῳ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς ἦλθεν Ναβουζαρδαν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος ὁ ἑστηκὼς κατὰ πρόσωπον τοῦ βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος εἰς Ιερουσαλημ
In mense autem quinto, decima mensis, ipse est annus nonusdecimus Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis, venit Nabuzardan princeps militiae, qui stabat coram rege Babylonis, in Jerusalem,
ወበኃምስ፡ ወርኅ፡ አመ፡ ዐሡሩ፡ ለሠርቀ፡ ይእቲ፡ ዓመት፡ ፲ወ፱ዓመት፡ ዘነግሠ፡ ናቡከደነፆር፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ መጽአ፡ ናቡዛርዳን፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን፡ ዘይቀውም፡ ቅድመ፡ ገጸ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ውስተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም።
Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, who stood before the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem.
52:13
וַיִּשְׂרֹ֥ף אֶת־בֵּית־יְהֹוָ֖ה וְאֶת־בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וְאֵ֨ת כׇּל־בָּתֵּ֧י יְרוּשָׁלַ֛͏ִם וְאֶת־כׇּל־בֵּ֥ית הַגָּד֖וֹל שָׂרַ֥ף בָּאֵֽשׁ׃
καὶ ἐνέπρησεν τὸν οἶκον κυρίου καὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ πάσας τὰς οἰκίας τῆς πόλεως καὶ πᾶσαν οἰκίαν μεγάλην ἐνέπρησεν ἐν πυρί
et incendit domum Domini, et domum regis, et omnes domos Jerusalem : et omnem domum magnam igni combussit :
ወአውዐየ፡ ቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወቤተ፡ ንጉሥ፡ ወኵሎ፡ አብያተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወኵሎ፡ ዓበይተ፡ አብያተ፡ አውዐየ፡ በእሳት።
He burned Yahweh’s house, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, he burned with fire.
52:14
וְאֶת־כׇּל־חֹמ֥וֹת יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם סָבִ֑יב נָֽתְצוּ֙ כׇּל־חֵ֣יל כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר אֶת־רַב־טַבָּחִֽים׃
καὶ πᾶν τεῖχος Ιερουσαλημ κύκλῳ καθεῖλεν ἡ δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων ἡ μετὰ τοῦ ἀρχιμαγείρου
et totum murum Jerusalem per circuitum destruxit cunctus exercitus Chaldaeorum qui erat cum magistro militiae.
ወኵሎ፡ አረፍተ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም፡ ወነሠቱ፡ ጥቅማ፡ ኃይለ፡ ከለዳውያን፡ ዘሊቀ፡ መበስላን።
All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around.
52:15
וּמִדַּלּ֨וֹת הָעָ֜ם וְֽאֶת־יֶ֥תֶר הָעָ֣ם׀ הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים בָּעִ֗יר וְאֶת־הַנֹּֽפְלִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָֽפְלוּ֙ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וְאֵ֖ת יֶ֣תֶר הָאָמ֑וֹן הֶגְלָ֕ה נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֖ן רַב־טַבָּחִֽים׃
—
De pauperibus autem populi, et de reliquo vulgo quod remanserat in civitate, et de perfugis qui transfugerant ad regem Babylonis, et ceteros de multitudine transtulit Nabuzardan princeps militiae.
ወአምጽአ፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን፡ እምነዳያነ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወተረፈ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ውስተ፡ ሀገር፡ እለ፡ ገብኡ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ወእለ፡ ተርፉ፡ ሕዝብ፡ እምዘአፍለ፡ ናቡዛርዳን፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን።
Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest of the people, and the rest of the people who were left in the city, and those who fell away, who defected to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
52:16
וּמִדַּלּ֣וֹת הָאָ֔רֶץ הִשְׁאִ֕יר נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֖ן רַב־טַבָּחִ֑ים לְכֹרְמִ֖ים וּלְיֹגְבִֽים׃
καὶ τοὺς καταλοίπους τοῦ λαοῦ κατέλιπεν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος εἰς ἀμπελουργοὺς καὶ εἰς γεωργούς
De pauperibus vero terrae reliquit Nabuzardan princeps militiae vinitores et agricolas.
እምነዳያነ፡ ምድር፡ አትረፈ፡ ለሐረስት፡ ወዓቀብተ፡ ወይን።
But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poorest of the land to be vineyard keepers and farmers.
52:17
וְאֶת־עַמּוּדֵ֨י הַנְּחֹ֜שֶׁת אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְבֵית־יְהֹוָ֗ה וְֽאֶת־הַמְּכֹנ֞וֹת וְאֶת־יָ֧ם הַנְּחֹ֛שֶׁת אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּבֵית־יְהֹוָ֖ה שִׁבְּר֣וּ כַשְׂדִּ֑ים וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ אֶת־כׇּל־נְחֻשְׁתָּ֖ם בָּבֶֽלָה׃
καὶ τοὺς στύλους τοὺς χαλκοῦς τοὺς ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου καὶ τὰς βάσεις καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν χαλκῆν τὴν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου συνέτριψαν οἱ Χαλδαῖοι καὶ ἔλαβον τὸν χαλκὸν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπήνεγκαν εἰς Βαβυλῶνα
Columnas quoque aereas quae erant in domo Domini, et bases, et mare aeneum quod erat in domo Domini, confregerunt Chaldaei, et tulerunt omne aes eorum in Babylonem,
ወአዕማደ፡ ብርት፡ ዘቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወድዶነሂ፡ ወባሕረሂ፡ ዘብርት፡ ዘቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ቀጥቀጡ፡ ፋርስ፡ ወነሥኡ፡ ኵሎ፡ ብርተ፡ ወወሰዱ፡ ባቢሎን።
The Chaldeans broke the pillars of bronze that were in Yahweh’s house and the bases and the bronze sea that were in Yahweh’s house in pieces, and carried all of their bronze to Babylon.
52:18
וְאֶת־הַ֠סִּר֠וֹת וְאֶת־הַיָּעִ֨ים וְאֶת־הַֽמְזַמְּר֜וֹת וְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָקֹ֣ת וְאֶת־הַכַּפּ֗וֹת וְאֵ֨ת כׇּל־כְּלֵ֧י הַנְּחֹ֛שֶׁת אֲשֶׁר־יְשָׁרְת֥וּ בָהֶ֖ם לָקָֽחוּ׃
καὶ τὴν στεφάνην καὶ τὰς φιάλας καὶ τὰς κρεάγρας καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ χαλκᾶ ἐν οἷς ἐλειτούργουν ἐν αὐτοῖς
et lebetes, et creagras, et psalteria, et phialas, et mortariola, et omnia vasa aerea quae in ministerio fuerant, tulerunt :
ወጽሕርታተ፡ ወከከማተ፡ ወፍያላተ፡ ወአጽሕልተ፡ ወኵሎ፡ ንዋየ፡ ብርት፡ እለ፡ ይትለአኩ፡ ቦሙ፡ ነሥኡ።
They also took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the spoons, and all the vessels of bronze with which they ministered.
52:19
וְאֶת־הַ֠סִּפִּ֠ים וְאֶת־הַמַּחְתּ֨וֹת וְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָק֜וֹת וְאֶת־הַסִּיר֣וֹת וְאֶת־הַמְּנֹר֗וֹת וְאֶת־הַכַּפּוֹת֙ וְאֶת־הַמְּנַקִּיּ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֤ר זָהָב֙ זָהָ֔ב וַאֲשֶׁר־כֶּ֖סֶף כָּ֑סֶף לָקַ֖ח רַב־טַבָּחִֽים׃
καὶ τὰ σαφφωθ καὶ τὰ μασμαρωθ καὶ τοὺς ὑποχυτῆρας καὶ τὰς λυχνίας καὶ τὰς θυίσκας καὶ τοὺς κυάθους ἃ ἦν χρυσᾶ χρυσᾶ καὶ ἃ ἦν ἀργυρᾶ ἀργυρᾶ ἔλαβεν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος
et hydrias, et thymiamateria, et urceos, et pelves, et candelabra, et mortaria, et cyathos, quotquot aurea, aurea, et quotquot argentea, argentea, tulit magister militiae :
መናብርተ፡ ወመስወደ፡ ወፍያላተ፡ ወጽሕርታተ፡ ወመራናተ፡ ወአጽሕልተ፡ ወመዳምሓተ፡ ዘወርቅ፡ ወርቀ፡ ወዘብሩር፡ ብሩረ፡ ነሥአ፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን።
The captain of the guard took away the cups, the fire pans, the basins, the pots, the lamp stands, the spoons, and the bowls; that which was of gold, as gold, and that which was of silver, as silver.
52:20
הָעַמּוּדִ֣ים׀ שְׁנַ֗יִם הַיָּ֤ם אֶחָד֙ וְהַבָּקָ֞ר שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֤ר נְחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁר־תַּ֣חַת הַמְּכֹנ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֛ה הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה לֹא־הָיָ֣ה מִשְׁקָ֔ל לִנְחֻשְׁתָּ֖ם כׇּל־הַכֵּלִ֥ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
καὶ οἱ στῦλοι δύο καὶ ἡ θάλασσα μία καὶ οἱ μόσχοι δώδεκα χαλκοῖ ὑποκάτω τῆς θαλάσσης ἃ ἐποίησεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Σαλωμων εἰς οἶκον κυρίου οὐκ ἦν σταθμὸς τοῦ χαλκοῦ αὐτῶν
et columnas duas, et mare unum, et vitulos duodecim aereos qui erant sub basibus quas fecerat rex Salomon in domo Domini. Non erat pondus aeris omnium horum vasorum.
አዕማደ፡ ፪፡ ባሕረ፡ ፩፡ ወአልህምተ፡ ፲ወ፪፡ ዘብርት፡ ዘመትሕተ፡ ሜኮኖት፡ ዘገብረ፡ ሰሎሞን፡ ንጉሥ፡ ለቤተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወአልቦን፡ መድሎት፡ ለእሉ፡ ንዋያተ፡ ብርት።
They took the two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze bulls that were under the bases, which King Solomon had made for Yahweh’s house. The bronze of all these vessels was without weight.
52:21
וְהָעַמּוּדִ֗ים שְׁמֹנֶ֨ה עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה אַמָּה֙ (קומה) [קוֹמַת֙] הָעַמֻּ֣ד הָאֶחָ֔ד וְח֛וּט שְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה אַמָּ֖ה יְסֻבֶּ֑נּוּ וְעׇבְי֛וֹ אַרְבַּ֥ע אֶצְבָּע֖וֹת נָבֽוּב׃
καὶ οἱ στῦλοι τριάκοντα πέντε πηχῶν ὕψος τοῦ στύλου τοῦ ἑνός καὶ σπαρτίον δώδεκα πήχεων περιεκύκλου αὐτόν καὶ τὸ πάχος αὐτοῦ δακτύλων τεσσάρων κύκλῳ
De columnis autem decem et octo cubiti altitudinis erant in columna una, et funiculus duodecim cubitorum circuibat eam : porro grossitudo ejus quatuor digitorum, et intrinsecus cava erat.
ወአዕማድ፡ ፲ወ፰በእመት፡ ቆሙ፡ ለ፩ዓምድ፡ ወአምጣን፡ ዘየዐውዶ፡ ፲ወ፪አመት፡ ወግዘፉ፡ አርባዕ፡ አፃብዕ፡ ዘከርካዕ።
As for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a line of twelve cubits encircled it; and its thickness was four fingers. It was hollow.
52:22
וְכֹתֶ֨רֶת עָלָ֜יו נְחֹ֗שֶׁת וְקוֹמַ֨ת הַכֹּתֶ֥רֶת הָאַחַת֮ חָמֵ֣שׁ אַמּוֹת֒ וּשְׂבָכָ֨ה וְרִמּוֹנִ֧ים עַֽל־הַכּוֹתֶ֛רֶת סָבִ֖יב הַכֹּ֣ל נְחֹ֑שֶׁת וְכָאֵ֛לֶּה לַעַמּ֥וּד הַשֵּׁנִ֖י וְרִמּוֹנִֽים׃
καὶ γεῖσος ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς χαλκοῦν καὶ πέντε πήχεων τὸ μῆκος ὑπεροχὴ τοῦ γείσους τοῦ ἑνός καὶ δίκτυον καὶ ῥόαι ἐπὶ τοῦ γείσους κύκλῳ τὰ πάντα χαλκᾶ καὶ κατὰ ταῦτα τῷ στύλῳ τῷ δευτέρῳ ὀκτὼ ῥόαι τῷ πήχει τοῖς δώδεκα πήχεσιν
Et capitella super utramque aerea : altitudo capitelli unius quinque cubitorum, et retiacula et malogranata super coronam in circuitu, omnia aerea : similiter columnae secundae, et malogranata.
ወኮታሪት፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ዘብርት፡ ወቆሙ፡ ለኮታሪት፡ ፩፡ ኃምስ፡ በእመት፡ ወመሥገርት፡ ወሮማናት፡ ላዕለ፡ ኮታሪት፡ የዐውድ፡ ወኵሉ፡ ዘብርት።
A capital of bronze was on it; and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of bronze. The second pillar also had the same, with pomegranates.
52:23
וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ הָרִמֹּנִ֔ים תִּשְׁעִ֥ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֖ה ר֑וּחָה כׇּל־הָרִמּוֹנִ֥ים מֵאָ֛ה עַל־הַשְּׂבָכָ֖ה סָבִֽיב׃ {ס}
καὶ ἦσαν αἱ ῥόαι ἐνενήκοντα ἓξ τὸ ἓν μέρος καὶ ἦσαν αἱ πᾶσαι ῥόαι ἐπὶ τοῦ δικτύου κύκλῳ ἑκατόν
Et fuerunt malogranata nonaginta sex dependentia : et omnia malogranata centum, retiaculis circumdabantur.
ወኮኑ፡ ሮማናት፡ ፺ወ፮፡ ነፋሳት፡ ወኵሉ፡ ሮማናት፡ ፻፡ ላዕለ፡ መሥገርት፡ የዐውድ።
There were ninety-six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were one hundred on the network all around.
52:24
וַיִּקַּ֣ח רַב־טַבָּחִ֗ים אֶת־שְׂרָיָה֙ כֹּהֵ֣ן הָרֹ֔אשׁ וְאֶת־צְפַנְיָ֖ה כֹּהֵ֣ן הַמִּשְׁנֶ֑ה וְאֶת־שְׁלֹ֖שֶׁת שֹׁמְרֵ֥י הַסַּֽף׃
καὶ ἔλαβεν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος τὸν ἱερέα τὸν πρῶτον καὶ τὸν ἱερέα τὸν δευτερεύοντα καὶ τοὺς τρεῖς τοὺς φυλάττοντας τὴν ὁδὸν
Et tulit magister militiae Saraiam sacerdotem primum, et Sophoniam sacerdotem secundum, et tres custodes vestibuli :
ወነሥኦ፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን፡ ለሴርያ፡ ዓቢይ፡ ካህን፡ ወለሶፎንያስ፡ ካህን፡ ዘእምታሕቴሁ፡ ወለ፫ዓቀብተ፡ አናቅጽ።
The captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the threshold,
52:25
וּמִן־הָעִ֡יר לָקַח֩ סָרִ֨יס אֶחָ֜ד אֲֽשֶׁר־הָיָ֥ה פָקִ֣יד׀ עַל־אַנְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּלְחָמָ֗ה וְשִׁבְעָ֨ה אֲנָשִׁ֜ים מֵרֹאֵ֤י פְנֵֽי־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִמְצְא֣וּ בָעִ֔יר וְאֵ֗ת סֹפֵר֙ שַׂ֣ר הַצָּבָ֔א הַמַּצְבִּ֖א אֶת־עַ֣ם הָאָ֑רֶץ וְשִׁשִּׁ֥ים אִישׁ֙ מֵעַ֣ם הָאָ֔רֶץ הַֽנִּמְצְאִ֖ים בְּת֥וֹךְ הָעִֽיר׃
καὶ εὐνοῦχον ἕνα ὃς ἦν ἐπιστάτης τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν πολεμιστῶν καὶ ἑπτὰ ἄνδρας ὀνομαστοὺς τοὺς ἐν προσώπῳ τοῦ βασιλέως τοὺς εὑρεθέντας ἐν τῇ πόλει καὶ τὸν γραμματέα τῶν δυνάμεων τὸν γραμματεύοντα τῷ λαῷ τῆς γῆς καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἀνθρώπους ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ τῆς γῆς τοὺς εὑρεθέντας ἐν μέσῳ τῆς πόλεως
et de civitate tulit eunuchum unum, qui erat praepositus super viros bellatores : et septem viros de his qui videbant faciem regis, qui inventi sunt in civitate : et scribam principem militum, qui probabat tyrones : et sexaginta viros de populo terrae, qui inventi sunt in medio civitatis.
ወእምሀገር፡ ነሥአ፡ አሐደ፡ ሕፅወ፡ ዘኮነ፡ ጸሐፌ፡ ላዕለ፡ ዕደወ፡ ጸብእ፡ ወ፯ዕደወ፡ እምእለ፡ ይሬእዩ፡ ገጸ፡ ንጉሥ፡ እለ፡ ተረክቡ፡ ውስተ፡ ሀገር፡ ወለጸሐፊ፡ መልአከ፡ ኃይሎሙ፡ ለሕዝበ፡ ምድር፡ ወ፷ዕደወ፡ እምሕዝበ፡ ምድር፡ እለ፡ ተረክቡ፡ ውስተ፡ ሀገር።
and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and seven men of those who saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the middle of the city.
52:26
וַיִּקַּ֣ח אוֹתָ֔ם נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֖ן רַב־טַבָּחִ֑ים וַיֹּ֧לֶךְ אוֹתָ֛ם אֶל־מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶ֖ל רִבְלָֽתָה׃
καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτοὺς Ναβουζαρδαν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτοὺς πρὸς βασιλέα Βαβυλῶνος εἰς Δεβλαθα
Tulit autem eos Nabuzardan magister militiae, et duxit eos ad regem Babylonis in Reblatha :
ወነሥኦሙ፡ ናቡዛርዳን፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን፡ ወነሥኦሙ፡ ኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ዴብላታ።
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
52:27
וַיַּכֶּ֣ה אוֹתָם֩ מֶ֨לֶךְ בָּבֶ֧ל וַיְמִתֵ֛ם בְּרִבְלָ֖ה בְּאֶ֣רֶץ חֲמָ֑ת וַיִּ֥גֶל יְהוּדָ֖ה מֵעַ֥ל אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτοὺς βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος ἐν Δεβλαθα ἐν γῇ Αιμαθ
et percussit eos rex Babylonis, et interfecit eos in Reblatha in terra Emath : et translatus est Juda de terra sua.
ወቀተሎሙ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ ወሞቱ፡ በዴብላታ፡ በምድረ፡ ኤማት፡ ወአፍለሶ፡ ለይሁዳ፡ እምነ፡ ምድሩ።
The king of Babylon struck them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.
52:28
זֶ֣ה הָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶגְלָ֖ה נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֑ר בִּשְׁנַת־שֶׁ֕בַע יְהוּדִ֕ים שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃
—
Iste est populus quem transtulit Nabuchodonosor : in anno septimo, Judaeos tria millia et viginti tres :
ዝንቱ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ዘአፍለሰ፡ ናቡከደነፆር፡ በሳብዕ፡ ዓመት፡ አይሁድ፡ ፴፻ወ፳ወ፫።
This is the number of the people whom Nebuchadnezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year, three thousand twenty-three Jews;
52:29
בִּשְׁנַ֛ת שְׁמוֹנֶ֥ה עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה לִנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֑ר מִיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם נֶ֕פֶשׁ שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וּשְׁנָֽיִם׃
—
in anno octavodecimo Nabuchodonosor, de Jerusalem animas octingentas triginta duas :
በ፲ወ፷ዓመት፡ ዘናቡከደነፆር፡ እምኢየሩሳሌም፡ ነፍሰ፷፻፴ወ፪።
in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar, he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty-two persons;
52:30
בִּשְׁנַ֨ת שָׁלֹ֣שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִים֮ לִנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּר֒ הֶגְלָ֗ה נְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָן֙ רַב־טַבָּחִ֔ים יְהוּדִ֕ים נֶ֕פֶשׁ שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת אַרְבָּעִ֣ים וַחֲמִשָּׁ֑ה כׇּל־נֶ֕פֶשׁ אַרְבַּ֥עַת אֲלָפִ֖ים וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃ {ס}
—
in anno vigesimo tertio Nabuchodonosor, transtulit Nabuzardan magister militiae animas Judaeorum septingentas quadraginta quinque. Omnes ergo animae, quatuor millia sexcentae.
በዓመት፡ ፳ወ፫፡ ዘናቡከደነፆር፡ አፍለሰ፡ ናቡዛርዳን፡ ሊቀ፡ መበስላን፡ ነፍሰ፡ አይድ፡ ፯፻፵ወ፭፡ ወኵሉ፡ ነፍስ፡ ፵፻ወ፮፻።
in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty-five people. All the people numbered four thousand six hundred.
52:31
וַיְהִי֩ בִשְׁלֹשִׁ֨ים וָשֶׁ֜בַע שָׁנָ֗ה לְגָלוּת֙ יְהוֹיָכִ֣ן מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֔ה בִּשְׁנֵ֤ים עָשָׂר֙ חֹ֔דֶשׁ בְּעֶשְׂרִ֥ים וַחֲמִשָּׁ֖ה לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ נָשָׂ֡א אֱוִ֣יל מְרֹדַךְ֩ מֶ֨לֶךְ בָּבֶ֜ל בִּשְׁנַ֣ת מַלְכֻת֗וֹ אֶת־רֹאשׁ֙ יְהוֹיָכִ֣ין מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֔ה וַיֹּצֵ֥א אֹת֖וֹ מִבֵּ֥ית (הכליא) [הַכְּלֽוּא]׃
καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ τριακοστῷ καὶ ἑβδόμῳ ἔτει ἀποικισθέντος τοῦ Ιωακιμ βασιλέως Ιουδα ἐν τῷ δωδεκάτῳ μηνὶ ἐν τῇ τετράδι καὶ εἰκάδι τοῦ μηνὸς ἔλαβεν Ουλαιμαραδαχ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ ᾧ ἐβασίλευσεν τὴν κεφαλὴν Ιωακιμ βασιλέως Ιουδα καὶ ἐξήγαγεν αὐτὸν ἐξ οἰκίας ἧς ἐφυλάττετο
Et factum est in trigesimo septimo anno transmigrationis Joachin regis Juda, duodecimo mense, vigesima quinta mensis, elevavit Evilmerodach rex Babylonis, ipso anno regni sui, caput Joachin regis Juda, et eduxit eum de domo carceris.
ወኮነ፡ በ፴ወ፯፡ ዓመት፡ እምዘ፡ ፈለሰ፡ ኢኮንያስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ በ፲ወ፪፡ ወርኅ፡ አመ፡ ፳ወ፭፡ ለሠርቅ፡ መሥኦ፡ ኤዎልማሮዴቅ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ በዓመተ፡ መንግሥቱ፡ ለኢኮንያስ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ይሁዳ፡ ወአውፅኦ፡ እምቤተ፡ ሞቅሕ።
In the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evilmerodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and released him from prison.
52:32
וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ טֹב֑וֹת וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־כִּסְא֔וֹ מִמַּ֗עַל לְכִסֵּ֧א (מלכים) [הַמְּלָכִ֛ים] אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ בְּבָבֶֽל׃
καὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ χρηστὰ καὶ ἔδωκεν τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ ἐπάνω τῶν θρόνων τῶν βασιλέων τῶν μετ’ αὐτοῦ ἐν Βαβυλῶνι
Et locutus est cum eo bona, et posuit thronum ejus super thronos regum qui erant post se in Babylone.
ወተናገሮ፡ ሠናየ፡ ወረሰየ፡ መንበሮ፡ መልዕልተ፡ መንበረ፡ ነገሥት፡ እለ፡ ምስሌሁ፡ ባቢሎን።
He spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon,
52:33
וְשִׁנָּ֕ה אֵ֖ת בִּגְדֵ֣י כִלְא֑וֹ וְאָכַ֨ל לֶ֧חֶם לְפָנָ֛יו תָּמִ֖יד כׇּל־יְמֵ֥י חַיָּֽו׃
καὶ ἤλλαξεν τὴν στολὴν τῆς φυλακῆς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἤσθιεν ἄρτον διὰ παντὸς κατὰ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ἃς ἔζησεν
Et mutavit vestimenta carceris ejus, et comedebat panem coram eo semper cunctis diebus vitae suae.
ወወለጠ፡ ልብሰ፡ ተሞቅሖቱ፡ ወበልዐ፡ በቅድሜሁ፡ ኅብስተ፡ ዘልፈ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ሕይወቱ።
and changed his prison garments. Jehoiachin ate bread before him continually all the days of his life.
52:34
וַאֲרֻחָת֗וֹ אֲרֻחַת֩ תָּמִ֨יד נִתְּנָה־לּ֜וֹ מֵאֵ֧ת מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל דְּבַר־י֥וֹם בְּיוֹמ֖וֹ עַד־י֣וֹם מוֹת֑וֹ כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֥י חַיָּֽיו׃
καὶ ἡ σύνταξις αὐτῷ ἐδίδοτο διὰ παντὸς παρὰ τοῦ βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος ἐξ ἡμέρας εἰς ἡμέραν ἕως ἡμέρας ἧς ἀπέθανεν
Et cibaria ejus, cibaria perpetua dabantur ei a rege Babylonis, statuta per singulos dies, usque ad diem mortis suae, cunctis diebus vitae ejus.
ወፈተቶ፡ ፍተ፡ ዘዘልፍ፡ ተውህበ፡ ሎቱ፡ እምኀበ፡ ንጉሠ፡ ባቢሎን፡ እንተ፡ ጸብሐት፡ እስከ፡ ዕለተ፡ ሞቱ፡ በኵሉ፡ መዋዕለ፡ ሕይወቱ።
For his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
