2:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָזָ֔ה יְשַֽׁעְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן ־אָמ֑וֹץ עַל ־יְהוּדָ֖ה וִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם ׃
ὁ λόγος ὁ γενόμενος παρὰ κυρίου πρὸς Ησαιαν υἱὸν Αμως περὶ τῆς Ιουδαίας καὶ περὶ Ιερουσαλημ
Verbum quod vidit Isaias , filius Amos , super Juda et Jerusalem .
ቃል ፡ ዘኮነ ፡ ኀበ ፡ ኢሳይያስ ፡ ወልደ ፡ አሞጽ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ይሁዳ ፡ ወበእንተ ፡ ኢየሩሳሌም ።
This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית הַיָּמִ֗ים נָכ֨וֹן יִֽהְיֶ֜ה הַ֤ר בֵּית ־יְהֹוָה֙ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הֶהָרִ֔ים וְנִשָּׂ֖א מִגְּבָע֑וֹת וְנָהֲר֥וּ אֵלָ֖יו כׇּל ־הַגּוֹיִֽם ׃
ὅτι ἔσται ἐν ταῖς ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις ἐμφανὲς τὸ ὄρος κυρίου καὶ ὁ οἶκος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπ’ ἄκρων τῶν ὀρέων καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὑπεράνω τῶν βουνῶν καὶ ἥξουσιν ἐπ’ αὐτὸ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη
Et erit in novissimis diebus : praeparatus mons domus Domini in vertice montium , et elevabitur super colles ; et fluent ad eum omnes gentes ,
ወይከውን ፡ በደኃሪ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ያስተርኢ ፡ ደብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወቤተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውስተ ፡ አርእስተ ፡ አድባር ፡ ወይትሌዐል ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ አውግር ፡ ወየሐውሩ ፡ ኀቤሁ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ አሕዛብ ።
It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
2:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְֽהָלְכ֞וּ עַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים וְאָֽמְרוּ֙ לְכ֣וּ ׀ וְנַעֲלֶ֣ה אֶל ־הַר ־יְהֹוָ֗ה אֶל ־בֵּית֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְיֹרֵ֙נוּ֙ מִדְּרָכָ֔יו וְנֵלְכָ֖ה בְּאֹרְחֹתָ֑יו כִּ֤י מִצִּיּוֹן֙ תֵּצֵ֣א תוֹרָ֔ה וּדְבַר ־יְהֹוָ֖ה מִירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם ׃
καὶ πορεύσονται ἔθνη πολλὰ καὶ ἐροῦσιν δεῦτε καὶ ἀναβῶμεν εἰς τὸ ὄρος κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ Ιακωβ καὶ ἀναγγελεῖ ἡμῖν τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ πορευσόμεθα ἐν αὐτῇ ἐκ γὰρ Σιων ἐξελεύσεται νόμος καὶ λόγος κυρίου ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ
et ibunt populi multi , et dicent : Venite , et ascendamus ad montem Domini , et ad domum Dei Jacob ; et docebit nos vias suas , et ambulabimus in semitis ejus , quia de Sion exibit lex , et verbum Domini de Jerusalem .
ወይመጽኡ ፡ ብዙኃን ፡ አህዛብ ፡ ወይብሉ ፤ ንዑ ፡ ንዕርግ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ቤተ ፡ አምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ወይንግሩነ ፡ ፍኖቶ ፡ ወንሖር ፡ ወአሠሩ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።
Many peoples shall go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law shall go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem.
2:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשָׁפַט֙ בֵּ֣ין הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְהוֹכִ֖יחַ לְעַמִּ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וְכִתְּת֨וּ חַרְבוֹתָ֜ם לְאִתִּ֗ים וַחֲנִיתֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ לְמַזְמֵר֔וֹת לֹא ־יִשָּׂ֨א ג֤וֹי אֶל ־גּוֹי֙ חֶ֔רֶב וְלֹֽא ־יִלְמְד֥וּ ע֖וֹד מִלְחָמָֽה ׃ {פ}
καὶ κρινεῖ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐλέγξει λαὸν πολύν καὶ συγκόψουσιν τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτῶν εἰς ἄροτρα καὶ τὰς ζιβύνας αὐτῶν εἰς δρέπανα καὶ οὐ λήμψεται ἔτι ἔθνος ἐπ’ ἔθνος μάχαιραν καὶ οὐ μὴ μάθωσιν ἔτι πολεμεῖν
Et judicabit gentes , et arguet populos multos ; et conflabunt gladios suos in vomeres , et lanceas suas in falces . Non levabit gens contra gentem gladium , nec exercebuntur ultra ad praelium .
ወይኴንን ፡ በማእከለ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ ወይዛለፎሙ ፡ ለብዙኃን ፡ አሕዛብ ።
He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
2:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ בֵּ֖ית יַעֲקֹ֑ב לְכ֥וּ וְנֵלְכָ֖ה בְּא֥וֹר יְהֹוָֽה ׃
καὶ νῦν ὁ οἶκος τοῦ Ιακωβ δεῦτε πορευθῶμεν τῷ φωτὶ κυρίου
Domus Jacob , venite , et ambulemus in lumine Domini .
ወይእዜኒ ፡ ቤተ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ንዑ ፡ ንሖር ፡ በብርሃነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
House of Jacob, come, and let’s walk in the light of Yahweh.
2:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י נָטַ֗שְׁתָּה עַמְּךָ֙ בֵּ֣ית יַעֲקֹ֔ב כִּ֤י מָֽלְאוּ֙ מִקֶּ֔דֶם וְעֹנְנִ֖ים כַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וּבְיַלְדֵ֥י נׇכְרִ֖ים יַשְׂפִּֽיקוּ ׃
ἀνῆκεν γὰρ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι ἐνεπλήσθη ὡς τὸ ἀπ’ ἀρχῆς ἡ χώρα αὐτῶν κληδονισμῶν ὡς ἡ τῶν ἀλλοφύλων καὶ τέκνα πολλὰ ἀλλόφυλα ἐγενήθη αὐτοῖς
Projecisti enim populum tuum , domum Jacob , quia repleti sunt ut olim , et augeres habuerunt ut Philisthiim , et pueris alienis adhaeserunt .
እስመ ፡ ሜጦሙ ፡ ለሕዝቡ ፡ እስራኤል ፤ እስመ ፡ መልአ ፡ በሐውርቲሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትካት ፡ ዘያሰግሉ ፡ ከመ ፡ ኢሎፍሊ ፡ ወተወልዱ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ብዙኅ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ ካልኣን ፡ አሕዛብ ።
For you have forsaken your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled from the east, with those who practice divination like the Philistines, and they clasp hands with the children of foreigners.
2:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א אַרְצוֹ֙ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֔ב וְאֵ֥ין קֵ֖צֶה לְאֹצְרֹתָ֑יו וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א אַרְצוֹ֙ סוּסִ֔ים וְאֵ֥ין קֵ֖צֶה לְמַרְכְּבֹתָֽיו ׃
ἐνεπλήσθη γὰρ ἡ χώρα αὐτῶν ἀργυρίου καὶ χρυσίου καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἀριθμὸς τῶν θησαυρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη ἡ γῆ ἵππων καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἀριθμὸς τῶν ἁρμάτων αὐτῶν
Repleta est terra argento et auro , et non est finis thesaurorum ejus .
ወመልአ ፡ ብሔሮሙ ፡ ወርቀ ፡ ወብሩረ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ኊልቈ ፡ መዛግብቲሆሙ ፤ ወመልአት ፡ ምድሮሙ ፡ አፍራሰ ፡ ወአልቦ ፡ ኊልቈ ፡ ሠራዊቶሙ ።
Their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures. Their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.
2:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א אַרְצ֖וֹ אֱלִילִ֑ים לְמַעֲשֵׂ֤ה יָדָיו֙ יִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֔וּ לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשׂ֖וּ אֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו ׃
καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη ἡ γῆ βδελυγμάτων τῶν ἔργων τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ προσεκύνησαν οἷς ἐποίησαν οἱ δάκτυλοι αὐτῶν
Et repleta est terra ejus equis , et innumerabiles quadrigae ejus . Et repleta est terra ejus idolis ; opus manuum suarum adoraverunt , quod fecerunt digiti eorum .
ወመልአት ፡ ምድሮሙ ፡ ጣዖቶሙ ፡ ዘገብሩ ፡ በእደዊሆሙ ፡ ወሰገዱ ፡ ለዘገብሩ ፡ በአፃብዒሆሙ ።
Their land also is full of idols. They worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.
2:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיִּשַּׁ֥ח אָדָ֖ם וַיִּשְׁפַּל ־אִ֑ישׁ וְאַל ־תִּשָּׂ֖א לָהֶֽם ׃
καὶ ἔκυψεν ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἐταπεινώθη ἀνήρ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀνήσω αὐτούς
Et incurvavit se homo , et humiliatus est vir ; ne ergo dimittas eis .
ወተቀጽዐ ፡ አብእ ፡ ወኀሠረ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ወኢይሥኅቶሙ ።
Man is brought low, and mankind is humbled; therefore don’t forgive them.
2:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ בּ֣וֹא בַצּ֔וּר וְהִטָּמֵ֖ן בֶּעָפָ֑ר מִפְּנֵי֙ פַּ֣חַד יְהֹוָ֔ה וּמֵהֲדַ֖ר גְּאֹנֽוֹ ׃
καὶ νῦν εἰσέλθετε εἰς τὰς πέτρας καὶ κρύπτεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ φόβου κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς δόξης τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ ὅταν ἀναστῇ θραῦσαι τὴν γῆν
Ingredere in petram , et abscondere in fossa humo a facie timoris Domini , et a gloria majestatis ejus .
ወይእዜኒ ፡ ባኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ኰኵሕ ፡ ወተኀብኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግበበ ፡ ምድር ፡ እምፍርሃተ ፡ ገጸ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእምግርማሁ ፡ ወእምስብሐተ ፡ ኃይሉ ፡ አመ ፡ ተንሥአ ፡ ይቀጥቅጣ ፡ ለምድር ።
Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty.
2:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ עֵינֵ֞י גַּבְה֤וּת אָדָם֙ שָׁפֵ֔ל וְשַׁ֖ח ר֣וּם אֲנָשִׁ֑ים וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב יְהֹוָ֛ה לְבַדּ֖וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא ׃ {פ}
οἱ γὰρ ὀφθαλμοὶ κυρίου ὑψηλοί ὁ δὲ ἄνθρωπος ταπεινός καὶ ταπεινωθήσεται τὸ ὕψος τῶν ἀνθρώπων καὶ ὑψωθήσεται κύριος μόνος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ
Oculi sublimes hominis humiliati sunt , et incurvabitur altitudo virorum ; exaltabitur autem Dominus solus in die illa .
እስመ ፡ አዕይንቲሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ልዑል ፤ ወሰብእሰ ፡ ኅሡር ።
The lofty looks of man will be brought low, the arrogance of men will be bowed down, and Yahweh alone will be exalted in that day.
2:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ כִּ֣י י֞וֹם לַיהֹוָ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת עַ֥ל כׇּל ־גֵּאֶ֖ה וָרָ֑ם וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־נִשָּׂ֥א וְשָׁפֵֽל ׃
ἡμέρα γὰρ κυρίου σαβαωθ ἐπὶ πάντα ὑβριστὴν καὶ ὑπερήφανον καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα ὑψηλὸν καὶ μετέωρον καὶ ταπεινωθήσονται
Quia dies Domini exercituum super omnem superbum , et excelsum , et super omnem arrogantem , et humiliabitur ;
እስመ ፡ ዕለተ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጸባኦት ፡ ላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ፀር ፡ ጸዓሊ ፡ ወዝኁር ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ነዋኅ ፡ ወልዑል ፡ ወያቴሕቶሙ ።
For there will be a day of Yahweh of Armies for all that is proud and arrogant, and for all that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low—
2:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַל֙ כׇּל ־אַרְזֵ֣י הַלְּבָנ֔וֹן הָרָמִ֖ים וְהַנִּשָּׂאִ֑ים וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־אַלּוֹנֵ֥י הַבָּשָֽׁן ׃
καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κέδρον τοῦ Λιβάνου τῶν ὑψηλῶν καὶ μετεώρων καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν δένδρον βαλάνου Βασαν
et super omnes cedros Libani sublimes et erectas , et super omnes quercus Basan ,
ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀወ ፡ ሊባኖስ ፡ ነዋኅ ፡ ወልዑል ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ዕፀ ፡ በለን ፡ ዘባሳን ።
for all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of Bashan,
2:14 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־הֶהָרִ֣ים הָרָמִ֑ים וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־הַגְּבָע֥וֹת הַנִּשָּׂאֽוֹת ׃
καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν ὄρος καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα βουνὸν ὑψηλὸν
et super omnes montes excelsos , et super omnes colles elevatos ,
ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አድባር ፡ ነዋኃት ፡ ወዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አውግር ፡ ልዑል ።
for all the high mountains, for all the hills that are lifted up,
2:15 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־מִגְדָּ֣ל גָּבֹ֑הַּ וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־חוֹמָ֥ה בְצוּרָֽה ׃
καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα πύργον ὑψηλὸν καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν τεῖχος ὑψηλὸν
et super omnem turrim excelsam , et super omnem murum munitum ,
ወዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ማኅፈድ ፡ ነዋኅ ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አረፍት ፡ ቀዋም ።
for every lofty tower, for every fortified wall,
2:16 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־אֳנִיּ֣וֹת תַּרְשִׁ֑ישׁ וְעַ֖ל כׇּל ־שְׂכִיּ֥וֹת הַחֶמְדָּֽה ׃
καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν πλοῖον θαλάσσης καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν θέαν πλοίων κάλλους
et super omnes naves Tharsis , et super omne quod visu pulchrum est ,
ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አሕማር ፡ ዘውስተ ፡ ባሕር ፡ ወላዕለ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ጣዖተ ፡ አማልክት ።
for all the ships of Tarshish, and for all pleasant imagery.
2:17 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְשַׁח֙ גַּבְה֣וּת הָאָדָ֔ם וְשָׁפֵ֖ל ר֣וּם אֲנָשִׁ֑ים וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב יְהֹוָ֛ה לְבַדּ֖וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא ׃
καὶ ταπεινωθήσεται πᾶς ἄνθρωπος καὶ πεσεῖται ὕψος ἀνθρώπων καὶ ὑψωθήσεται κύριος μόνος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ
et incurvabitur sublimitas hominum , et humiliabitur altitudo virorum , et elevabitur Dominus solus in die illa ;
ወይቴሐት ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ወይወድቅ ፡ ሉዓሌ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፤ ወይትሌዐል ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ባሕቲቱ ፡ ይእተ ፡ አሚረ ።
The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the arrogance of men shall be brought low; and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.
2:18 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְהָאֱלִילִ֖ים כָּלִ֥יל יַחֲלֹֽף ׃
καὶ τὰ χειροποίητα πάντα κατακρύψουσιν
et idola penitus conterentur ;
ወየኀብኡ ፡ ኵሎሙ ፡ ጣዖቶሙ ፡ ዘገብሩ ፡ በእደዊሆሙ ።
The idols shall utterly pass away.
2:19 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּבָ֙אוּ֙ בִּמְעָר֣וֹת צֻרִ֔ים וּבִמְחִלּ֖וֹת עָפָ֑ר מִפְּנֵ֞י פַּ֤חַד יְהֹוָה֙ וּמֵהֲדַ֣ר גְּאוֹנ֔וֹ בְּקוּמ֖וֹ לַעֲרֹ֥ץ הָאָֽרֶץ ׃
εἰσενέγκαντες εἰς τὰ σπήλαια καὶ εἰς τὰς σχισμὰς τῶν πετρῶν καὶ εἰς τὰς τρώγλας τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ φόβου κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς δόξης τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ ὅταν ἀναστῇ θραῦσαι τὴν γῆν
et introibunt in speluncas petrarum , et in voragines terrae , a facie formidinis Domini et a gloria majestatis ejus , cum surrexerit percutere terram .
ወያበውእዎሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ በአታት ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ንቅዓታተ ፡ ኰኵሕ ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ግበበ ፡ ምድር ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ግርማሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእምስብሐተ ፡ ኃይሉ ፡ አመ ፡ ተንሥአ ፡ ይቀጥቅጣ ፡ ለምድር ።
Men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
2:20 ⧉ ⤴︎ בַּיּ֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ יַשְׁלִ֣יךְ הָאָדָ֔ם אֵ֚ת אֱלִילֵ֣י כַסְפּ֔וֹ וְאֵ֖ת אֱלִילֵ֣י זְהָב֑וֹ אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָֽשׂוּ ־לוֹ֙ לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֔ת לַחְפֹּ֥ר פֵּר֖וֹת וְלָעֲטַלֵּפִֽים ׃
τῇ γὰρ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐκβαλεῖ ἄνθρωπος τὰ βδελύγματα αὐτοῦ τὰ ἀργυρᾶ καὶ τὰ χρυσᾶ ἃ ἐποίησαν προσκυνεῖν τοῖς ματαίοις καὶ ταῖς νυκτερίσιν
In die illa projiciet homo idola argenti sui , et simulacra auri sui , quae fecerat sibi ut adoraret , talpas et vespertiliones .
ይእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ያወፅእ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ጣዖተ ፡ ርኩሰ ፡ ዘወርቅ ፡ ወዘብሩር ፡ ዘገብሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይሰግዱ ፡ ለከንቱ ።
In that day, men shall cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which have been made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats,
2:21 ⧉ ⤴︎ לָבוֹא֙ בְּנִקְר֣וֹת הַצֻּרִ֔ים וּבִסְעִפֵ֖י הַסְּלָעִ֑ים מִפְּנֵ֞י פַּ֤חַד יְהֹוָה֙ וּמֵהֲדַ֣ר גְּאוֹנ֔וֹ בְּקוּמ֖וֹ לַעֲרֹ֥ץ הָאָֽרֶץ ׃
τοῦ εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὰς τρώγλας τῆς στερεᾶς πέτρας καὶ εἰς τὰς σχισμὰς τῶν πετρῶν ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ φόβου κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς δόξης τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ ὅταν ἀναστῇ θραῦσαι τὴν γῆν
Et ingreditur scissuras petrarum et in cavernas saxorum , a facie formidinis Domini , et a gloria majestatis ejus , cum surrexerit percutere terram .
ከመ ፡ ያብኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግበበ ፡ ምድር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ ንቅዓታተ ፡ ኰኵሕ ፡ እምቅድመ ፡ ገጸ ፡ ግርማሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወእምስብሐተ ፡ ኃይሉ ፡ አመ ፡ ተንሥአ ፡ ይቀጥቅጣ ፡ ለምድር ።
to go into the caverns of the rocks, and into the clefts of the ragged rocks, from before the terror of Yahweh, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
