2:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֣לֶּה ׀ בְּנֵ֣י הַמְּדִינָ֗ה הָֽעֹלִים֙ מִשְּׁבִ֣י הַגּוֹלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶגְלָ֛ה (נבוכדנצור ) [נְבוּכַדְנֶצַּ֥ר ] מֶֽלֶךְ ־בָּבֶ֖ל לְבָבֶ֑ל וַיָּשׁ֛וּבוּ לִירוּשָׁלַ֥͏ִם וִֽיהוּדָ֖ה אִ֥ישׁ לְעִירֽוֹ ׃
καὶ οὗτοι οἱ υἱοὶ τῆς χώρας οἱ ἀναβαίνοντες ἀπὸ τῆς αἰχμαλωσίας τῆς ἀποικίας ἧς ἀπῴκισεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος εἰς Βαβυλῶνα καὶ ἐπέστρεψαν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ Ιουδα ἀνὴρ εἰς πόλιν αὐτοῦ
Hi sunt autem provinciae filii , qui ascenderunt de captivitate , quam transtulerat Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis in Babylonem , et reversi sunt in Jerusalem et Judam , unusquisque in civitatem suam .
Now these are the children of the province who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his city;
2:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֲשֶׁר ־בָּ֣אוּ עִם ־זְרֻבָּבֶ֗ל יֵשׁ֡וּעַ נְ֠חֶמְיָ֠ה שְׂרָיָ֨ה רְֽעֵלָיָ֜ה מׇרְדֳּכַ֥י בִּלְשָׁ֛ן מִסְפָּ֥ר בִּגְוַ֖י רְח֣וּם בַּעֲנָ֑ה מִסְפַּ֕ר אַנְשֵׁ֖י עַ֥ם יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃ {ס}
οἳ ἦλθον μετὰ Ζοροβαβελ Ἰησοῦς Νεεμιας Σαραιας Ρεελιας Μαρδοχαιος Βαλασαν Μασφαρ Βαγουι Ρεουμ Βαανα ἀνδρῶν ἀριθμὸς λαοῦ Ισραηλ
Qui venerunt cum Zorobabel , Josue , Nehemia , Saraia , Rahelaia , Mardochai , Belsan , Mesphar , Beguai , Rehum , Baana . Numerus virorum populi Israël :

2:58 ⧉ ⤴︎ כׇּ֨ל ־הַנְּתִינִ֔ים וּבְנֵ֖י עַבְדֵ֣י שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת תִּשְׁעִ֥ים וּשְׁנָֽיִם ׃ {פ}
πάντες οἱ ναθινιν καὶ υἱοὶ Αβδησελμα τριακόσιοι ἐνενήκοντα δύο
omnes Nathinaei , et filii servorum Salomonis , trecenti nonaginta duo .
All the temple servants, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety-two.
2:59 ⧉ ⤴︎ וְאֵ֗לֶּה הָֽעֹלִים֙ מִתֵּ֥ל מֶ֙לַח֙ תֵּ֣ל חַרְשָׁ֔א כְּר֥וּב אַדָּ֖ן אִמֵּ֑ר וְלֹ֣א יָֽכְל֗וּ לְהַגִּ֤יד בֵּית ־אֲבוֹתָם֙ וְזַרְעָ֔ם אִ֥ם מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הֵֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἀναβάντες ἀπὸ Θελμελεθ Θελαρησα Χαρουβ Ηδαν Εμμηρ καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθησαν τοῦ ἀναγγεῖλαι οἶκον πατριᾶς αὐτῶν καὶ σπέρμα αὐτῶν εἰ ἐξ Ισραηλ εἰσίν
Et hi qui ascenderunt de Thelmala , Thelharsa , Cherub , et Adon , et Emer : et non potuerunt indicare domum patrum suorum et semen suum , utrum ex Israël essent .
These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers’ houses and their offspring, whether they were of Israel:
2:60 ⧉ ⤴︎ בְּנֵי ־דְלָיָ֥ה בְנֵי ־טוֹבִיָּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י נְקוֹדָ֑א שֵׁ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים וּשְׁנָֽיִם ׃ {ס}
υἱοὶ Δαλαια υἱοὶ Βουα υἱοὶ Τωβια υἱοὶ Νεκωδα ἑξακόσιοι πεντήκοντα δύο
Filii Dalaia , filii Tobia , filii Necoda , sexcenti quinquaginta duo .
the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty-two.
2:61 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמִבְּנֵי֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים בְּנֵ֥י חֳבַיָּ֖ה בְּנֵ֣י הַקּ֑וֹץ בְּנֵ֣י בַרְזִלַּ֗י אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָ֠קַ֠ח מִבְּנ֞וֹת בַּרְזִלַּ֤י הַגִּלְעָדִי֙ אִשָּׁ֔ה וַיִּקָּרֵ֖א עַל ־שְׁמָֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων υἱοὶ Χαβια υἱοὶ Ακους υἱοὶ Βερζελλαι ὃς ἔλαβεν ἀπὸ θυγατέρων Βερζελλαι τοῦ Γαλααδίτου γυναῖκα καὶ ἐκλήθη ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτῶν
Et de filiis sacerdotum : filii Hobia , filii Accos , filii Berzellai , qui accepit de filiabus Berzellai Galaaditis , uxorem , et vocatus est nomine eorum :
Of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, and the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
2:62 ⧉ ⤴︎ אֵ֗לֶּה בִּקְשׁ֧וּ כְתָבָ֛ם הַמִּתְיַחְשִׂ֖ים וְלֹ֣א נִמְצָ֑אוּ וַֽיְגֹאֲל֖וּ מִן ־הַכְּהֻנָּֽה ׃
οὗτοι ἐζήτησαν γραφὴν αὐτῶν οἱ μεθωεσιμ καὶ οὐχ εὑρέθησαν καὶ ἠγχιστεύθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς ἱερατείας
hi quaesierunt scripturam genealogiae suae , et non invenerunt , et ejecti sunt de sacerdotio .
These sought their place among those who were registered by genealogy, but they were not found; therefore they were deemed disqualified and removed from the priesthood.
2:63 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הַתִּרְשָׁ֙תָא֙ לָהֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא ־יֹאכְל֖וּ מִקֹּ֣דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים עַ֛ד עֲמֹ֥ד כֹּהֵ֖ן לְאוּרִ֥ים וּלְתֻמִּֽים ׃
καὶ εἶπεν Αθερσαθα αὐτοῖς τοῦ μὴ φαγεῖν ἀπὸ τοῦ ἁγίου τῶν ἁγίων ἕως ἀναστῇ ἱερεὺς τοῖς φωτίζουσιν καὶ τοῖς τελείοις
Et dixit Athersatha eis ut non comederent de Sancto sanctorum , donec surgeret sacerdos doctus atque perfectus .
The governor told them that they should not eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up to serve with Urim and with Thummim.
2:64 ⧉ ⤴︎ כׇּל ־הַקָּהָ֖ל כְּאֶחָ֑ד אַרְבַּ֣ע רִבּ֔וֹא אַלְפַּ֖יִם שְׁלֹשׁ ־מֵא֥וֹת שִׁשִּֽׁים ׃
πᾶσα δὲ ἡ ἐκκλησία ὡς εἷς τέσσαρες μυριάδες δισχίλιοι τριακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα
Omnis multitudo quasi unus , quadraginta duo millia trecenti sexaginta :
The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
2:65 ⧉ ⤴︎ מִ֠לְּבַ֠ד עַבְדֵיהֶ֤ם וְאַמְהֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ אֵ֔לֶּה שִׁבְעַ֣ת אֲלָפִ֔ים שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים וְשִׁבְעָ֑ה וְלָהֶ֛ם מְשֹׁרְרִ֥ים וּֽמְשֹׁרְר֖וֹת מָאתָֽיִם ׃
χωρὶς δούλων αὐτῶν καὶ παιδισκῶν αὐτῶν οὗτοι ἑπτακισχίλιοι τριακόσιοι τριάκοντα ἑπτά καὶ οὗτοι ᾄδοντες καὶ ᾄδουσαι διακόσιοι
exceptis servis eorum , et ancillis , qui erant septem millia trecenti triginta septem : et in ipsis cantores atque cantatrices ducenti .
in addition to their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven; and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
2:66 ⧉ ⤴︎ סוּסֵיהֶ֕ם שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֑ה פִּרְדֵיהֶ֕ם מָאתַ֖יִם אַרְבָּעִ֥ים וַחֲמִשָּֽׁה ׃ {ס}
ἵπποι αὐτῶν ἑπτακόσιοι τριάκοντα ἕξ ἡμίονοι αὐτῶν διακόσιοι τεσσαράκοντα πέντε
Equi eorum septingenti triginta sex , muli eorum , ducenti quadraginta quinque ,
Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred forty-five;
2:67 ⧉ ⤴︎ גְּמַ֨לֵּיהֶ֔ם אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים וַחֲמִשָּׁ֑ה חֲמֹרִ֕ים שֵׁ֣שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֔ים שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וְעֶשְׂרִֽים ׃ {פ}
κάμηλοι αὐτῶν τετρακόσιοι τριάκοντα πέντε ὄνοι αὐτῶν ἑξακισχίλιοι ἑπτακόσιοι εἴκοσι
cameli eorum , quadringenti triginta quinque , asini eorum , sex millia septingenti viginti .
their camels, four hundred thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred twenty.
2:68 ⧉ ⤴︎ וּמֵרָאשֵׁי֙ הָֽאָב֔וֹת בְּבוֹאָ֕ם לְבֵ֥ית יְהֹוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם הִֽתְנַדְּבוּ֙ לְבֵ֣ית הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים לְהַעֲמִיד֖וֹ עַל ־מְכוֹנֽוֹ ׃
καὶ ἀπὸ ἀρχόντων πατριῶν ἐν τῷ ἐλθεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς οἶκον κυρίου τὸν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἡκουσιάσαντο εἰς οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ στῆσαι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν ἑτοιμασίαν αὐτοῦ
Et de principibus patrum , cum ingrederentur templum Domini , quod est in Jerusalem , sponte obtulerunt in domum Dei ad exstruendam eam in loco suo .
Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they came to Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for God’s house to set it up in its place.
2:69 ⧉ ⤴︎ כְּכֹחָ֗ם נָתְנוּ֮ לְאוֹצַ֣ר הַמְּלָאכָה֒ זָהָ֗ב דַּרְכְּמוֹנִים֙ שֵׁשׁ ־רִבֹּ֣אות וָאֶ֔לֶף וְכֶ֕סֶף מָנִ֖ים חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֑ים וְכׇתְנֹ֥ת כֹּהֲנִ֖ים מֵאָֽה ׃ {ס}
ὡς ἡ δύναμις αὐτῶν ἔδωκαν εἰς θησαυρὸν τοῦ ἔργου χρυσίον καθαρόν μναῖ ἓξ μυριάδες καὶ χίλιαι καὶ ἀργύριον μναῖ πεντακισχίλιαι καὶ κοθωνοι τῶν ἱερέων ἑκατόν
Secundum vires suas dederunt impensas operis , auri solidos sexaginta millia et mille , argenti mnas quinque millia , et vestes sacerdotales centum .
They gave according to their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.
2:70 ⧉ ⤴︎ וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְ֠הַלְוִיִּ֠ם וּֽמִן ־הָעָ֞ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֧ים וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֛ים וְהַנְּתִינִ֖ים בְּעָרֵיהֶ֑ם וְכׇל ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּעָרֵיהֶֽם ׃ {ס}
καὶ ἐκάθισαν οἱ ἱερεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ ἀπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ οἱ ᾄδοντες καὶ οἱ πυλωροὶ καὶ οἱ ναθινιμ ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν
Habitaverunt ergo sacerdotes , et Levitae , et de populo , et cantores , et janitores , et Nathinaei , in urbibus suis , universusque Israël in civitatibus suis .
So the priests and the Levites, with some of the people, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants, lived in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
