10:1
בָּעֵ֨ת הַהִ֜וא אָמַ֧ר יְהֹוָ֣ה אֵלַ֗י פְּסׇל־לְךָ֞ שְׁנֵֽי־לוּחֹ֤ת אֲבָנִים֙ כָּרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים וַעֲלֵ֥ה אֵלַ֖י הָהָ֑רָה וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ לְּךָ֖ אֲר֥וֹן עֵֽץ׃
ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με λάξευσον σεαυτῷ δύο πλάκας λιθίνας ὥσπερ τὰς πρώτας καὶ ἀνάβηθι πρός με εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ ποιήσεις σεαυτῷ κιβωτὸν ξυλίνην
In tempore illo dixit Dominus ad me : Dola tibi duas tabulas lapideas, sicut priores fuerunt, et ascende ad me in montem : faciesque arcam ligneam,
ወይቤለኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ቅር ፡ ለከ ፡ ክልኤ ፡ ጽላተ ፡ [ዘእብን ፡] ከመ ፡ እለ ፡ ቀዲሙ ፡ ወዕረግ ፡ ኀቤየ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብር ፡ ወግበር ፡ ታቦተ ፡ እንተ ፡ ዕፅ ።
At that time Yahweh said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
10:2
וְאֶכְתֹּב֙ עַל־הַלֻּחֹ֔ת אֶ֨ת־הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָי֛וּ עַל־הַלֻּחֹ֥ת הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר שִׁבַּ֑רְתָּ וְשַׂמְתָּ֖ם בָּאָרֽוֹן׃
καὶ γράψω ἐπὶ τὰς πλάκας τὰ ῥήματα ἃ ἦν ἐν ταῖς πλαξὶν ταῖς πρώταις ἃς συνέτριψας καὶ ἐμβαλεῖς αὐτὰς εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν
et scribam in tabulis verba quae fuerunt in his qui ante confregisti : ponesque eas in arca.
ወእጽሕፍ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውእቶን ፡ ጽላት ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ዘሀለወ ፡ ውስተ ፡ እልክቱ ፡ ጽላት ፡ እለ ፡ ቀዲሙ ፡ ቀጥቀጥከ ፡ ወደዮን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ታቦት ።
I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”
10:3
וָאַ֤עַשׂ אֲרוֹן֙ עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וָאֶפְסֹ֛ל שְׁנֵי־לֻחֹ֥ת אֲבָנִ֖ים כָּרִאשֹׁנִ֑ים וָאַ֣עַל הָהָ֔רָה וּשְׁנֵ֥י הַלֻּחֹ֖ת בְּיָדִֽי׃
καὶ ἐποίησα κιβωτὸν ἐκ ξύλων ἀσήπτων καὶ ἐλάξευσα τὰς δύο πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας ὡς αἱ πρῶται καὶ ἀνέβην εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ αἱ δύο πλάκες ἐπὶ ταῖς χερσίν μου
Feci igitur arcam de lignis setim. Cumque dolassem duas tabulas lapideas instar priorum, ascendi in montem, habens eas in manibus.
ወገበርኩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ እንተ ፡ ዕፅ ፡ ዘኢይነቅዝ ፡ ወወቀርኩ ፡ ክልኤ ፡ ጽላተ ፡ ዘእብን ፡ ከመ ፡ እለ ፡ ቀዲሙ ፡ ወዐረጉ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብር ፡ ወውስተ ፡ እዴየ ፡ ውእቶን ፡ ክልኤሆን ፡ ጽላት ።
So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.
10:4
וַיִּכְתֹּ֨ב עַֽל־הַלֻּחֹ֜ת כַּמִּכְתָּ֣ב הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן אֵ֚ת עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּר֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֲלֵיכֶ֥ם בָּהָ֛ר מִתּ֥וֹךְ הָאֵ֖שׁ בְּי֣וֹם הַקָּהָ֑ל וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם יְהֹוָ֖ה אֵלָֽי׃
καὶ ἔγραψεν ἐπὶ τὰς πλάκας κατὰ τὴν γραφὴν τὴν πρώτην τοὺς δέκα λόγους οὓς ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ ὄρει ἐκ μέσου τοῦ πυρός καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὰς κύριος ἐμοί
Scripsitque in tabulis, juxta id quod prius scripserat, verba decem, quae locutus est Dominus ad vos in monte de medio ignis, quando populus congregatus est : et dedit eas mihi.
ወጸሐፈ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ውእቶን ፡ ጽላት ፡ በከመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ መጽሐፍ ፡ ዘቀዲሙ ፡ ዓሥሩ ፡ ቃ[ለ] ፡ ዘነገረነ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በደብረ ፡ ሲና ፡ በማእከለ ፡ እሳት ።
He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.
10:5
וָאֵ֗פֶן וָֽאֵרֵד֙ מִן־הָהָ֔ר וָֽאָשִׂם֙ אֶת־הַלֻּחֹ֔ת בָּאָר֖וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֑יתִי וַיִּ֣הְיוּ שָׁ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוַּ֖נִי יְהֹוָֽה׃
καὶ ἐπιστρέψας κατέβην ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους καὶ ἐνέβαλον τὰς πλάκας εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν ἣν ἐποίησα καὶ ἦσαν ἐκεῖ καθὰ ἐνετείλατό μοι κύριος
Reversusque de monte, descendi, et posui tabulas in arcam, quam feceram, quae hucusque ibi sunt, sicut mihi praecepit Dominus.
ወወደይክዎን ፡ ውስተ ፡ ታቦት ፡ ለውእቶን ፡ ጽላት ፡ እለ ፡ ገበርኩ ፡ ወነበራ ፡ ህየ ፡ በከመ ፡ አዘዘኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ።
I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are as Yahweh commanded me.
10:6
וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל נָ֥סְע֛וּ מִבְּאֵרֹ֥ת בְּנֵי־יַעֲקָ֖ן מוֹסֵרָ֑ה שָׁ֣ם מֵ֤ת אַהֲרֹן֙ וַיִּקָּבֵ֣ר שָׁ֔ם וַיְכַהֵ֛ן אֶלְעָזָ֥ר בְּנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Βηρωθ υἱῶν Ιακιμ Μισαδαι ἐκεῖ ἀπέθανεν Ααρων καὶ ἐτάφη ἐκεῖ καὶ ἱεράτευσεν Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἀντ’ αὐτοῦ
Filii autem Israël moverunt castra ex Beroth filiorum Jacan in Mosera, ubi Aaron mortuus ac sepultus est, pro quo sacerdotio functus est Eleazar filius ejus.
ወግዕዙ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ እምነ ፡ ቤሮሱ ፡ ዘደቂቀ ፡ ኢያቅም ፡ ዘሚሳዴ ፡ ወበህየ ፡ ሞተ ፡ አሮን ፡ ወተቀብረ ፡ በህየ ፡ ወተሠይመ ፡ በህየ ፡ አልዓዛር ፡ ወልዱ ፡ ካህን ፡ ህየንቴሁ ።
(The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.
10:7
מִשָּׁ֥ם נָסְע֖וּ הַגֻּדְגֹּ֑דָה וּמִן־הַגֻּדְגֹּ֣דָה יׇטְבָ֔תָה אֶ֖רֶץ נַ֥חֲלֵי מָֽיִם׃
ἐκεῖθεν ἀπῆραν εἰς Γαδγαδ καὶ ἀπὸ Γαδγαδ εἰς Ετεβαθα γῆ χείμαρροι ὑδάτων
Inde venerunt in Gadgad : de quo loco profecti, castrametati sunt in Jetebatha, in terra aquarum atque torrentium.
ወእምህየ ፡ ግዕዙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ገድገድ ፡ ወእምነ ፡ ገድገድ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዔጤቦታ ፡ ምድር ፡ ዘአንቅዕተ ፡ ማይ ።
From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
10:8
בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֗וא הִבְדִּ֤יל יְהֹוָה֙ אֶת־שֵׁ֣בֶט הַלֵּוִ֔י לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־אֲר֣וֹן בְּרִית־יְהֹוָ֑ה לַעֲמֹד֩ לִפְנֵ֨י יְהֹוָ֤ה לְשָֽׁרְתוֹ֙ וּלְבָרֵ֣ךְ בִּשְׁמ֔וֹ עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ διέστειλεν κύριος τὴν φυλὴν τὴν Λευι αἴρειν τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης κυρίου παρεστάναι ἔναντι κυρίου λειτουργεῖν καὶ ἐπεύχεσθαι ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης
Eo tempore separavit tribum Levi, ut portaret arcam foederis Domini, et staret coram eo in ministerio, ac benediceret in nomine illius usque in praesentem diem.
ወበውእቶን ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ፈለጦሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለነገደ ፡ ሌዊ ፡ ከመ ፡ ይጹሩ ፡ ታቦተ ፡ ሕጉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ ወከመ ፡ ይቁሙ ፡ ቅድመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወይግበሩ ፡ ወይጸልዩ ፡ በስመ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
At that time Yahweh set apart the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, to stand before Yahweh to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.
10:9
עַל־כֵּ֞ן לֹֽא־הָיָ֧ה לְלֵוִ֛י חֵ֥לֶק וְנַחֲלָ֖ה עִם־אֶחָ֑יו יְהֹוָה֙ ה֣וּא נַחֲלָת֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֶּ֛ר יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ לֽוֹ׃
διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ ἔστιν τοῖς Λευίταις μερὶς καὶ κλῆρος ἐν τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτῶν κύριος αὐτὸς κλῆρος αὐτοῦ καθὰ εἶπεν αὐτῷ
Quam ob rem non habuit Levi partem, neque possessionem cum fratribus suis : quia ipse Dominus possessio ejus est, sicut promisit ei Dominus Deus tuus.
ወበበይነ ፡ ዝንቱ ፡ አልቦሙ ፡ ለሌዋውያን ፡ ክፍለ ፡ ወርስተ ፡ ምስለ ፡ አኀዊ[ሆሙ] ፡ እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ክፍሉ ፡ በከመ ፡ ይቤሎ ።
Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; Yahweh is his inheritance, according as Yahweh your God spoke to him.)
10:10
וְאָנֹכִ֞י עָמַ֣דְתִּי בָהָ֗ר כַּיָּמִים֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים לָ֑יְלָה וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע יְהֹוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י גַּ֚ם בַּפַּ֣עַם הַהִ֔וא לֹא־אָבָ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה הַשְׁחִיתֶֽךָ׃
κἀγὼ εἱστήκειν ἐν τῷ ὄρει τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας καὶ εἰσήκουσεν κύριος ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τούτῳ καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν κύριος ἐξολεθρεῦσαι ὑμᾶς
Ego autem steti in monte, sicut prius, quadraginta diebus ac noctibus : exaudivitque me Dominus etiam hac vice, et te perdere noluit.
ወአንሰ ፡ ቆምኩ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ደብር ፡ ፵ዕለተ ፡ ወ፵ሌሊተ ፡ ወሰምዐኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በውእቶንሂ ፡ መዋዕል ፡ ወኀደገክሙ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ወኢያጥፍአክሙ ።
I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Yahweh listened to me that time also. Yahweh would not destroy you.
10:11
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ אֵלַ֔י ק֛וּם לֵ֥ךְ לְמַסַּ֖ע לִפְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם וְיָבֹ֙אוּ֙ וְיִֽירְשׁ֣וּ אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי לַאֲבֹתָ֖ם לָתֵ֥ת לָהֶֽם׃ {פ}
καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με βάδιζε ἄπαρον ἐναντίον τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου καὶ εἰσπορευέσθωσαν καὶ κληρονομείτωσαν τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν αὐτῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς
Dixitque mihi : Vade, et praecede populum, ut ingrediatur, et possideat terram, quam juravi patribus eorum ut traderem eis.
ወይቤለኒ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ሑር ፡ ወንግር ፡ ቅድሜሆሙ ፡ ለዝንቱ ፡ ሕዝብ ፡ ወይባኡ ፡ ወይትወረሱ ፡ ምድረ ፡ እንተ ፡ መሐልኩ ፡ ለአበዊሆሙ ፡ ከመ ፡ አሀቦሙ ።
Yahweh said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”
10:12
וְעַתָּה֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מָ֚ה יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ שֹׁאֵ֖ל מֵעִמָּ֑ךְ כִּ֣י אִם־לְ֠יִרְאָ֠ה אֶת־יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ לָלֶ֤כֶת בְּכׇל־דְּרָכָיו֙ וּלְאַהֲבָ֣ה אֹת֔וֹ וְלַֽעֲבֹד֙ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָ֖ וּבְכׇל־נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃
καὶ νῦν Ισραηλ τί κύριος ὁ θεός σου αἰτεῖται παρὰ σοῦ ἀλλ’ ἢ φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεόν σου πορεύεσθαι ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀγαπᾶν αὐτὸν καὶ λατρεύειν κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου
Et nunc Israël, quid Dominus Deus tuus petit a te, nisi ut timeas Dominum Deum tuum, et ambules in viis ejus, et diligas eum, ac servias Domino Deo tuo in toto corde tuo, et in tota anima tua :
ወይእዜኒ ፡ እስራኤል ፡ ምንተ ፡ ይፈቅድ ፡ እምኔከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ እንበለ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትፍርሆ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወትሑር ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ፍና[ዊሁ ፡] ወከመ ፡ ታፍቅሮ ፡ ወታምልኮ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ልብከ ፡ ወበኵሉ ፡ ነፍስከ ፤
Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
10:13
לִשְׁמֹ֞ר אֶת־מִצְוֺ֤ת יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֶת־חֻקֹּתָ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם לְט֖וֹב לָֽךְ׃
φυλάσσεσθαι τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ἵνα εὖ σοι ᾖ
custodiasque mandata Domini, et caeremonias ejus, quas ego hodie praecipio tibi, ut bene sit tibi ?
ወትዕቀብ ፡ ትእዛዞ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ወኵነኔሁ ፡ ኵሎ ፡ ዘአነ ፡ እኤዝዘከ ፡ ዮም ፡ ከመ ፡ ሠናይ ፡ ይኩንከ ።
to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
10:14
הֵ֚ן לַיהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וּשְׁמֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם הָאָ֖רֶץ וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּֽהּ׃
ἰδοὺ κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ὁ οὐρανὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἡ γῆ καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτῇ
En Domini Dei tui caelum est, et caelum caeli, terra, et omnia quae in ea sunt :
ወናሁ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ ወሰማየ ፡ ሰማያት ፡ ወምድር ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ።
Behold, to Yahweh your God belongs heaven, the heaven of heavens, and the earth, with all that is therein.
10:15
רַ֧ק בַּאֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ חָשַׁ֥ק יְהֹוָ֖ה לְאַהֲבָ֣ה אוֹתָ֑ם וַיִּבְחַ֞ר בְּזַרְעָ֣ם אַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם בָּכֶ֛ם מִכׇּל־הָעַמִּ֖ים כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
πλὴν τοὺς πατέρας ὑμῶν προείλατο κύριος ἀγαπᾶν αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐξελέξατο τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν μετ’ αὐτοὺς ὑμᾶς παρὰ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη κατὰ τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην
et tamen patribus tuis conglutinatus est Dominus, et amavit eos, elegitque semen eorum post eos, id est, vos, de cunctis gentibus, sicut hodie comprobatur.
ወዳእሙ ፡ አበዊክሙ ፡ አብደረ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያፈቅሮሙ ፡ ወኀርየ ፡ ዘርኦሙ ፡ እምድኅሬሆሙ ፡ ኪያክሙ ፡ እምነ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ አሕዛብ ፡ እስከ ፡ ዛቲ ፡ ዕለት ።
Only Yahweh had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their offspring after them, even you above all peoples, as it is today.
10:16
וּמַלְתֶּ֕ם אֵ֖ת עׇרְלַ֣ת לְבַבְכֶ֑ם וְעׇ֨רְפְּכֶ֔ם לֹ֥א תַקְשׁ֖וּ עֽוֹד׃
καὶ περιτεμεῖσθε τὴν σκληροκαρδίαν ὑμῶν καὶ τὸν τράχηλον ὑμῶν οὐ σκληρυνεῖτε ἔτι
Circumcidite igitur praeputium cordis vestri, et cervicem vestram ne induretis amplius :
ወግዝሩ ፡ እከዮ ፡ ለልብክሙ ፡ ወኢታግዝፉ ፡ ክሳደክሙ ፡ እንከ ።
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
10:17
כִּ֚י יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם ה֚וּא אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים וַאֲדֹנֵ֖י הָאֲדֹנִ֑ים הָאֵ֨ל הַגָּדֹ֤ל הַגִּבֹּר֙ וְהַנּוֹרָ֔א אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹא־יִשָּׂ֣א פָנִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א יִקַּ֖ח שֹֽׁחַד׃
ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν οὗτος θεὸς τῶν θεῶν καὶ κύριος τῶν κυρίων ὁ θεὸς ὁ μέγας καὶ ἰσχυρὸς καὶ ὁ φοβερός ὅστις οὐ θαυμάζει πρόσωπον οὐδ’ οὐ μὴ λάβῃ δῶρον
quia Dominus Deus vester ipse est Deus deorum, et Dominus dominantium, Deus magnus, et potens, et terribilis, qui personam non accipit, nec munera.
እስመ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክክሙ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ አምላከ ፡ አማልክት ፡ ወእግዚአ ፡ አጋእስት ፡ ውእቱ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ዐቢይ ፡ ወጽኑዕ ፡ ወግሩም ፡ ዘኢያደሉ ፡ ለገጽ ፡ ወኢይነሥእ ፡ ሕልያነ ።
For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes.
10:18
עֹשֶׂ֛ה מִשְׁפַּ֥ט יָת֖וֹם וְאַלְמָנָ֑ה וְאֹהֵ֣ב גֵּ֔ר לָ֥תֶת ל֖וֹ לֶ֥חֶם וְשִׂמְלָֽה׃
ποιῶν κρίσιν προσηλύτῳ καὶ ὀρφανῷ καὶ χήρᾳ καὶ ἀγαπᾷ τὸν προσήλυτον δοῦναι αὐτῷ ἄρτον καὶ ἱμάτιον
Facit judicium pupillo et viduae ; amat peregrinum, et dat ei victum atque vestitum.
ወይገብር ፡ ፍትሐ ፡ ለግዩር ፡ ወለእጓለ ፡ ማውታ ፡ ወለእቤር ፡ ወያፈቅሮ ፡ ለግዩር ፡ ወይሁቦ ፡ ሲሳዮ ፡ ወዐራዞ ።
He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing.
10:19
וַאֲהַבְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־הַגֵּ֑ר כִּֽי־גֵרִ֥ים הֱיִיתֶ֖ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
καὶ ἀγαπήσετε τὸν προσήλυτον προσήλυτοι γὰρ ἦτε ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ
Et vos ergo amate peregrinos, quia et ipsi fuistis advenae in terra Aegypti.
ወአፍቅርዎ ፡ ለግዩር ፡ እስመ ፡ አንትሙኒ ፡ ግዩራነ ፡ ኮንክሙ ፡ በምድረ ፡ ግብጽ ።
Therefore love the foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
10:20
אֶת־יְהֹוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ תִּירָ֖א אֹת֣וֹ תַעֲבֹ֑ד וּב֣וֹ תִדְבָּ֔ק וּבִשְׁמ֖וֹ תִּשָּׁבֵֽעַ׃
κύριον τὸν θεόν σου φοβηθήσῃ καὶ αὐτῷ λατρεύσεις καὶ πρὸς αὐτὸν κολληθήσῃ καὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ὀμῇ
Dominum Deum tuum timebis, et ei soli servies : ipsi adhaerebis, jurabisque in nomine illius.
ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ፍርሆ ፡ ወሎቱ ፡ ለባሕቲቱ ፡ አምልኮ ፡ ወሎቱ ፡ ትልዎ ፡ [ወበስመ ፡ ዚአሁ ፡ መሐል ፡]፡
You shall fear Yahweh your God. You shall serve him. You shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
10:21
ה֥וּא תְהִלָּתְךָ֖ וְה֣וּא אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה אִתְּךָ֗ אֶת־הַגְּדֹלֹ֤ת וְאֶת־הַנּֽוֹרָאֹת֙ הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֥ר רָא֖וּ עֵינֶֽיךָ׃
οὗτος καύχημά σου καὶ οὗτος θεός σου ὅστις ἐποίησεν ἐν σοὶ τὰ μεγάλα καὶ τὰ ἔνδοξα ταῦτα ἃ εἴδοσαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου
Ipse est laus tua, et Deus tuus, qui fecit tibi haec magnalia et terribilia, quae viderunt oculi tui.
እስመ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ትምክሕትሕሙ ፡ ወውእቱ ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ዘገብረ ፡ ለከ ፡ ዐቢያተ ፡ ወእላንተ ፡ ክቡራተ ፡ ዘርእያ ፡ አዕይንቲከ ።
He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
10:22
בְּשִׁבְעִ֣ים נֶ֔פֶשׁ יָרְד֥וּ אֲבֹתֶ֖יךָ מִצְרָ֑יְמָה וְעַתָּ֗ה שָֽׂמְךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ כְּכוֹכְבֵ֥י הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם לָרֹֽב׃
ἐν ἑβδομήκοντα ψυχαῖς κατέβησαν οἱ πατέρες σου εἰς Αἴγυπτον νυνὶ δὲ ἐποίησέν σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὡσεὶ τὰ ἄστρα τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῷ πλήθει
In septuaginta animabus descenderunt patres tui in Aegyptum, et ecce nunc multiplicavit te Dominus Deus tuus sicut astra caeli.
በሰብዓ ፡ ነፍስ ፡ ወረዱ ፡ አበዊከ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ግብጽ ፡ ወይእዜሰ ፡ ገብረከ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላክከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ከዋክብተ ፡ ሰማይ ፡ በብዝኅ ።
Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now Yahweh your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.
