13:1 ⧉ ⤴︎ Τρίτον τοῦτο ἔρχομαι πρὸς ὑμᾶς · ἐπὶ στόματος δύο μαρτύρων καὶ τριῶν σταθήσεται πᾶν ῥῆμα .
Ecce tertio hoc venio ad vos : in ore duorum vel trium testium stabit omne verbum .
ወናሁ ሣልስየ ዝንቱ እንዘ እመጽእ ኀቤክሙ አኮኑ በአፈ ክልኤቱ ወሠለስቱ ሰማዕት ይቀውም ኵሉ ነገር ።
This is the third time I am coming to you. “At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”
13:2 ⧉ ⤴︎ προείρηκα καὶ προλέγω ὡς παρὼν τὸ δεύτερον καὶ ἀπὼν νῦν τοῖς προημαρτηκόσιν καὶ τοῖς λοιποῖς πᾶσιν , ὅτι ἐὰν ἔλθω εἰς τὸ πάλιν οὐ φείσομαι ,
Praedixi , et praedico , ut praesens , et nunc absens iis qui ante peccaverunt , et ceteris omnibus , quoniam si venero iterum , non parcam .
ወአቅደምኩ ነጊረ እምትካት ወአቀድም ወእነግር ዓዲ በከመ እቤለክሙ እንዘ ሀሎኩ በቀዳሚ ከማሁ እንዘ ኢሀሎኩ በሣልስ እነግር ለእለ አበሱ ቀዲሙ ወለባዕዳንሂ ከመ አመ መጻእኩ ኢይምሕክ እንከ ካዕበ ።
I have warned previously, and I warn again, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, I write to those who have sinned before now and to all the rest that if I come again, I will not spare,
13:3 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐπεὶ δοκιμὴν ζητεῖτε τοῦ ἐν ἐμοὶ λαλοῦντος Χριστοῦ · ὃς εἰς ὑμᾶς οὐκ ἀσθενεῖ ἀλλὰ δυνατεῖ ἐν ὑμῖν .
An experimentum quaeritis ejus , qui in me loquitur Christus , qui in vobis non infirmatur , sed potens est in vobis ?
እስመ ተኀሥሡ መከራሁ ለክርስቶስ ዘይነብብ በላዕሌየ ውእቱ አልቦ ዘይሰአኖ በኀቤክሙ ዘእንበለ ዳእሙ ኵሉ ዘይትከሀሎ ።
seeing that you seek a proof of Christ who speaks in me who is not weak, but is powerful in you.
13:4 ⧉ ⤴︎ καὶ γὰρ ἐσταυρώθη ἐξ ἀσθενείας , ἀλλὰ ζῇ ἐκ δυνάμεως θεοῦ . καὶ γὰρ ἡμεῖς ἀσθενοῦμεν ἐν αὐτῷ , ἀλλὰ ζήσομεν σὺν αὐτῷ ἐκ δυνάμεως θεοῦ εἰς ὑμᾶς .
Nam etsi crucifixus est ex infirmitate : sed vivit ex virtute Dei . Nam et nos infirmi sumus in illo : sed vivemus cum eo ex virtute Dei in vobis .
እስመ ዘሐመ ወተሰቅለ በድካም ሕያው ውእቱ በኀይለ እግዚአብሔር ወንሕነኒ ንደክም ምስሌሁ ወነሐዩሂ ምስሌሁ በኀይለ እግዚአብሔር በእንቲኣክሙ ።
For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.
13:5 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἑαυτοὺς πειράζετε εἰ ἐστὲ ἐν τῇ πίστει , ἑαυτοὺς δοκιμάζετε · ἢ οὐκ ἐπιγινώσκετε ἑαυτοὺς ὅτι Χριστὸς Ἰησοῦς ἐν ὑμῖν ; εἰ μήτι ἀδόκιμοί ἐστε .
Vosmetipsos tentate si estis in fide : ipsi vos probate . An non cognoscitis vosmetipsos quia Christus Jesus in vobis est ? nisi forte reprobi estis .
ወርእሰክሙ አመክሩ ለእመ ሀለውክሙ በሃይማኖት ወርእሰክሙ ሕቱ ለእመ ቦ ዘኢተአምሩ ለሊክሙ ወኢትጤይቁ ከመ ሀሎ ክርስቶስ ምስሌክሙ ወለእመሰ ኢኮነ ከመዝ ምኑናን አንትሙ ።
Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
13:6 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἐλπίζω δὲ ὅτι γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἡμεῖς οὐκ ἐσμὲν ἀδόκιμοι .
Spero autem quod cognoscetis , quia nos non sumus reprobi .
ወእትአመን አንሰ ታእምሩ ከመ ኢኮነ ምኑናነ ንሕነኒ ።
But I hope that you will know that we aren’t disqualified.
13:7 ⧉ ⤴︎ εὐχόμεθα δὲ πρὸς τὸν θεὸν μὴ ποιῆσαι ὑμᾶς κακὸν μηδέν , οὐχ ἵνα ἡμεῖς δόκιμοι φανῶμεν , ἀλλ’ ἵνα ὑμεῖς τὸ καλὸν ποιῆτε , ἡμεῖς δὲ ὡς ἀδόκιμοι ὦμεν .
Oramus autem Deum ut nihil mali faciatis , non ut nos probati appareamus , sed ut vos quod bonum est faciatis : nos autem ut reprobi simus .
ወንጼሊ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ከመ ኢይግበር እኩየ ላዕሌክሙ ወኢምንተኒ ወአኮሰ ከመ ንሕነ ኅሩያነ ንኩን አላ ዳእሙ ከመ አንትሙ ሠናየ ትግበሩ ወንሕነሰ ከመ ምኑናን ።
Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that you may do that which is honorable, though we may seem to have failed.
13:8 ⧉ ⤴︎ οὐ γὰρ δυνάμεθά τι κατὰ τῆς ἀληθείας , ἀλλὰ ὑπὲρ τῆς ἀληθείας .
Non enim possumus aliquid adversus veritatem , sed pro veritate .
እስመ ኢንክል ወፂአ እምጽድቅ ዘእንበለ ዳእሙ በጽድቅ ።
For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
13:9 ⧉ ⤴︎ χαίρομεν γὰρ ὅταν ἡμεῖς ἀσθενῶμεν , ὑμεῖς δὲ δυνατοὶ ἦτε · τοῦτο καὶ εὐχόμεθα , τὴν ὑμῶν κατάρτισιν .
Gaudemus enim , quoniam nos infirmi sumus , vos autem potentes estis . Hoc et oramus , vestram consummationem .
ወእትፌሣሕ ሶበ ንሕነ ነሐምም ከመ አንትሙ ትጽንዑ ወትትፈሥሑ ወዝ ውእቱ ጸሎትነ ከመ አንትሙ ታርትዑ ልበክሙ ።
For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. We also pray for this: your becoming perfect.
13:10 ⧉ ⤴︎ διὰ τοῦτο ταῦτα ἀπὼν γράφω , ἵνα παρὼν μὴ ἀποτόμως χρήσωμαι κατὰ τὴν ἐξουσίαν ἣν ὁ κύριος ἔδωκέν μοι , εἰς οἰκοδομὴν καὶ οὐκ εἰς καθαίρεσιν .
Ideo haec absens scribo , ut non praesens durius agam secundum potestatem , quam Dominus dedit mihi in aedificationem , et non in destructionem .
ወበእንተዝ ዘንተ እጽሕፍ ለክሙ እንዘ ኢሀሎኩ ኀቤክሙ ከመ አመ መጻእኩ ምቱረ ኢይግበር በላዕሌክሙ ከመ ዘሥልጣን ቦ በዘአኰነነኒ እግዚአብሔር ለሐኒጽ ወአኮ ለነሢት ።
For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not deal sharply when present, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
13:11 ⧉ ⤴︎ Λοιπόν , ἀδελφοί , χαίρετε , καταρτίζεσθε , παρακαλεῖσθε , τὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖτε , εἰρηνεύετε , καὶ ὁ θεὸς τῆς ἀγάπης καὶ εἰρήνης ἔσται μεθ’ ὑμῶν .
De cetero , fratres , gaudete , perfecti estote , exhortamini , idem sapite , pacem habete , et Deus pacis et dilectionis erit vobiscum .
ተፈሥሑ እንከሰ አኀዊነ አጥብዑ ወተዐገሡ ወተሰናዐዉ ወአምላከ ሰላም ወፍቅር የሀሉ ምስሌክሙ ።
Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
13:12 ⧉ ⤴︎ ἀσπάσασθε ἀλλήλους ἐν ἁγίῳ φιλήματι . ἀσπάζονται ὑμᾶς οἱ ἅγιοι πάντες .
Salutate invicem in osculo sancto . Salutant vos omnes sancti .
ተአምኁ በበይናቲክሙ በአምኃ ቅድሳት አምኁክሙ ኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን ።
Greet one another with a holy kiss.
13:13 ⧉ ⤴︎ Ἡ χάρις τοῦ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ καὶ ἡ ἀγάπη τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἡ κοινωνία τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος μετὰ πάντων ὑμῶν .
Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi , et caritas Dei , et communicatio Sancti Spiritus sit cum omnibus vobis . Amen .
ጸጋሁ ለእግዚእነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወፍቅረ እግዚአብሔር ወሱታፌ መንፈስ ቅዱስ የሀሉ ምስለ ኵልክሙ አሜን ። ተፈጸመት መልእክት ዳግሚት ኀበ ሰብአ ቆሮንቶስ ወተጽሕፈት በፊልጵስዩስ ዘመቄዶንያ ወተፈነወት በእደ ቲቶ ወሉቃስ ። ወስብሐት ለእግዚአብሔር አሜን ።
All the saints greet you.
